Price recaliculation in service specification

Hi
Work order has created with four line items.
In this work order 3rd, 4th line item consists around 240 service lines.
User has entered discount for all services at header level.
After entering user has selected service specification >>prices >> recalculate
On menu bar in service specifications screen.
After recalculating total value is showing as zero & net price for the 3rd & 4th line is showing as zero.

Hi,
I would advice you to check if you have applied the notes 875531 and 977105.
Please check also the following:
> Click on the conditions icon in the 'services' tab
> Click on the update icon and select the option 'C':
Copy manual pricing elements and redetermine the others
Please try to test also with other options.

How to de-activate Qty and Price fields for Service purchase requisition

Dear all,
We have a request to de-activate (leave it as "Display") the fields of quantity and gross price when changing a service purchase requisition of a specific document type.
In example: We want that purchase requisition type NB, allows in change mode (ME52 or ME52N) to change the quantity and gross price of the services. On the other hand, these two fields must be only visible for order type ZNB. Besides this must be happening only for services.
Changing PT9 or PT9B will affect also the creation, and if we only configure based on transacction and document type does not work.
Any help will be highly appreciatted.

You may have to write a output requirement routine and assign the same to the output type in NACE.
But i don't think you will get the old and new data of Purchase order in requirement routine (program : SAPLV61B). You may have to export the data into memory from either a BADI method or User exit and then import the same in requirement routine.

How to change data in service specifications of a contract?

Hi guys,
my task is to change some data (ex. price, Material Group) in service specifications of given contract.
I read this data from an excel file and have to do this 'update'. I wanted to use bapi_contract_change but this FM is not suitable for my task.
Anyone could help? Which way to go? Thanks a lot.

Percentage based forumla in Model Service Specification

Dear All,
I have following requirement. I am working for construction industry where are all the activities are created as subgroup in model service specification.
Eg:
Project 1 - Amco Building
1.1 - Painting Work 100 Sq.Ft
1.2 - Carpenting Work 250 Sq.Ft
The user wants to enter the service entry sheet on the percentage basis, i.e. 20% of 100 Sq.Ft and the system should calculate the quantity on 20%. How should we write the formula for this. Please advise me to achieve this scenario.

I understand that your requirement is to update the price of service line items when you update the pricing.
Can you check/Update the pricing procedure for services as well which will update the service pricing and let us know the result.

Sinchronization between service master & model service specification

Hi,
We are using service master in MM and we are trying to use the model service specifications. However we are read and seen that the model doesn't change according to the service master. I mean if I set deletion flag to a service, the model services where that service is present doesn't change (the same with changes in price and so on).
Does anybody know if there is other funcionality that work of this way? If not, from the ABAP programming point of view, has anybody achieved this sinchronization, how?

It has to do with your customising. Please test the same with using the standard pricing schema MS0000.

Error when copy from model service specification to service specification

Hi experts.
I have coded a program to create batch of model service specification (MSS). In MM, i used TCode ML11 to check MSS, and everything is ok. But in PS, when i create a service activity, in service specification (SP), i copy data from MSS to SP, everything is copied except gross price. So anyone can help me?

Remote Desktop Management service not starting. service-specific error: %%2284126209 - Event ID: 7024

Hi Forum members,
We have a client that has intermittent issues with RDS on a 2012 R2 server.
As an overview of the environment, the client has a single VMWare host support 2 x Windows 2012 R2 VMs one is the File/Print/Email server and the 2nd is the RDS server used to allow the client to run MYOB Enterprise. Both servers have the AD DS role and
DNS roles amongst others.
The 1st issue is that the RD Connection Broker shows the error: "The server pool does not match the RD Connection Brokers that are in it. and then "1. Cannot connect to any of the specified RD Connection Broker servers".
The above issue seems to be caused by the RDMS service not starting. When you attempt to start it, the service stops and the error in the title is logged in the "System" event log. Full transcript below:

I have been attempting to resolve these errors for some time, without success. I have read the many KBs and forum entries related to the above and applied a number of the suggested fixes, including the one which suggests to add the NT SERVICE\ALL SERVICES
to the "Logon as a Service" in the "User Rights Assignment" of the "Default Domain Policy" which is linked to the domain level, that both servers are objects of.
My question to the forum is, can anyone come up with a solution to resolve the above issues and all the RDMS service to start which will then hopefully resolve the broker error?

Hi David,
If virtual machines on the server are Windows Server 2012, then it is not supported to install Remote Desktop Connection Broker on a Domain Controller.

If the VMs are Windows Server 2012 R2, I suggest you install RDS on a separate machine to see if the issue persists.

I've installed Lync Server 2010. There was no error during installation. But when i start Lync Server Front End Server, i'm getting following error:

Also I've installed all Lync Server updates.

Enter the price for the service item

Dear Experts,
We are implementing SRM 7.0 and we have upgraded our system with Service pack 7.Created a limit SC and approved at all levels. After approving SC system created PO in SRM but did not replicate to backend ECC system. When I looked PO in edit PO mode and system throws an error message "Enter the price for the service item".
Have any body faced this issue? If yes please guide me how to fix this issue or Suggest me any useful link or OSS messages.

Hello,
I assume you are using a Product category configured for Extended Classic scenario.
In this case a limit item in SC creates limit item in PO(in SRM). But when this PO is replicated to R/3, it always creates item with type 'D' for limit item in PO.
Now with respect to error message you get, can you check if you have specified all LImits (Overall value, Expected value etc)?
You can also try creating a PO directly in SRM with limit item (use same Product category as above) and see if it replicates.
If you get the same error, please raise a OSS message for SAP.

In brief i need to develop a ABAP report considering the figures appearing under Service Specification together with more break up to the plan value,Currently plan value is a single figure which shows Current Figure and i need to further break up the same by Previous/ Current /cumulative .

One possibility is to Maintain the languages in the Additional data tab under description in the material master record for your Services . Please check wether both the languages are maintained or not . Please correct me if i am wrong .

Purchase Order - service specification - outline hierarchy

When creating a purchase order for services, I am entering services lines in the SERVICES TAB, I would like to structure the services in the service specification into a hierarchy of outline levels. How I can do this? How can I activate the Service Specification outline ?

Hello,
You can use an outline only in t the 'Full Screen: service'. In the Services full screen, you can choose 'Outline On/Off' to show and hide the service overview. You ser the width of the service overview as desired and when entering the transaction, system displays the settings selected before leaving the transaction.
If you select an outline level, the data area of the services displays the relevant service lines. You can choose 'Services' to display at outline level whether service line exist at outline level.

I believe you'll need to edit your tnsnames.ora file located in \ORACLE\806\NET80\ADMIN. The last line of this file should read something like
Rep60_SYSNAME, Rep60_SYSNAME.world = (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp) (HOST=SYSNAME) (PORT=1949))
where SYSNAME is the name of the PC Reports is installed on.
I had this same error, and once I modified this file, everything seemd to work fine.

Clientgen does not generate service specific exceptions

When we use clientgen to generate client stubs and on exploding the generated
_client.jar file we find that only the first service specific exception following
RemoteException is being generated. All other exceptions seem to be missing. Here
is an example of a sample service method:
void actionWorkitem(WSCredentials credentials, String workitemUri, String action)
throws RemoteException, WorkflowException, SameStateException;
Here the last exception (i.e:SameStateException which is a service specific exception
) is missing in the generated client jar file.
Is this a bug ?
Any help in this issue is appreciated.

Also to add to the problem. If we use the clientgen generated stubs to make a
soap call on the mentioned operation
void actionWorkitem(WSCredentials credentials, String workitemUri,String action)
throws RemoteException, WorkflowException, SameStateException;
which would actually throw a SameStateException, the exception message comes
as WorkflowException (which was the only exception class correctly generated by
the clientgen.)
This means the generated stubs wrap messages from all the service-specific exceptions
into one service specific exception. This looks like a bug too.
