Prices change from starting ordering process to checkout

When I go to order any phone upgrade, the price changes from the time I start the process to when i check out.  For example, the LG Cosmos Touch says Free, then in the checkout it is $79,95
Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch?

Hello jahogge,
I can understand that being a bit frustrating.  Are you still encountering this when you attempt to upgrade?  If so, please PM me with your name and mobile number so I may further assist you.  Thank you.

  • Bottom/base price check in Sales order processing

    Hi
In my company we are using process Sales Order > DO > Billing. Same pricing procedure for sales document types and billing types. No pricing procedure for DO. Our management wants to implement bottom price check in sales order processing e.g there must be one sale price on which sale invoice will be booked and there must also be one static price maintained and system will check after all taxes and discounts calculation that net value should not be less then bottom price.
Currently we are using user exit in enhancement MV45AFZZ. Our ABAPER has written logic in this of following scenario. We have maintained commercial price in ZCOM condition type and bottom price in ZBAS condition type. Lets take and example
    ZCOM = Sale price= 500
    ZDIS = Discount = 100
    Net value/Amount for credit check 500-100 = 400
    ZBAS Bottom price = 450
In above scenario system should not allow to save sale order/billing document and give error "Sale price is below bottom price" Then user will change the discount from 100 to 50 and Net value will be then 450 and system will allow to save sale order/billing document.
I want to to do this in Pricing procedure pricing routines. Please tell me is it possible with calculation types? Im wondering if we can do this in enhancement then we must write the same logic in VOFM pricing routine and we can control this from there too. In our current ABAP check everything is working fine but I just want to minimize the use of ABAP checks and enhancements and control the things from functional side not from ABAP.
Please let me know if someone need more clarification or someone have any productive suggestions in this regard. If there is any other solution it will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Similar functionality is already there, where if the net price of an item differs from "Customer expected price" (conditions EDI1/EDI2) then SAP automatically pushes the order into incompletion. You can ask the developer to see how EDI1 is used in the pricing logic.
However, the condition EDI1 is used to check if the item value is different to Customer expected price in case of EDI orders and is not standard for your requirement. But you get my drift, that you can have your own condition in the pricing procedure that will fetch the base price value and can be used in the logic to show an error message (to stop order processing) or push into incompletion log similar to condition EDI1

  • Create Return Order copy from Billing created from DBM Order Processing

    Hi SAP Gurus
I have scenario where the user requested to create return order based on Billing created from DBM Order Processing.
I know that, we can create return order from DBM. but the function copy based on order. the user is requested to do return
by billing document ( function as SD )
is this requirement can be done in SD VA01 where the user can copy the billing created from DBM and create return order using SD function

    Hi,
in DBM you regulary have mulitiple invoices per order (due to split).
You either can cancel an certain invoice and adapt the order or create a returns order based on an given order where you can select certain (e.g. invoiced) items.

  • Manual price change on Sales Order line

    Hi everyone,
Say I have a product A and have entered this in the price list Product A = USD 100 per unit.
I create the order and process the order, do ship confirm, but at the time of creating the invoice, I want to change the price to 97. or 95 or whatever. This is not fixed and depends probably on various business factors not in anyone's control.
I tried to manually change the price on the sales order line, but it is not allowing me to change, saying 'no manual discounts available'. My questions are :
    1. How can I manually change the price of a product at the time of invoicing?
    2. I have not defined any modifiers or qualifiers. Is this required, and if yes, what type and how to do it.
    3. At what level can the price be changed? at order booking or even after ship confirm?
    4. If I change the price today, this price change will be applicable to what orders? All orders with booked statuses, or all orders which are not yet ship confirmed, or all orders not interfaced or all future orders entered after this price change is saved?
    5. Do I need to make this price change in the price list also?
    Pls reply asap.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Sudhindra Desai

    Hi Sudhindra,
    Check out if this helps:
    1. How can I manually change the price of a product at the time of invoicing?
You cannot change the price once invoicing is done or when the Order Line Status becomes 'Closed' . Any change at the order entry level can only be effected till the Order Line Status is in 'Entered' Stage.
    2. I have not defined any modifiers or qualifiers. Is this required, and if yes, what type and how to do it.
We have defined a modifier for our business purpose where by we can manually change the Price at the order entry level. If you require I can send you the screen shots of the setups we have done. I would need your e-mail id for that.
    3. At what level can the price be changed? at order booking or even after ship confirm?
Price can be changed till the order is in 'Entered Stage'. It cannot be changed once it is 'Booked'
    4. If I change the price today, this price change will be applicable to what orders? All orders with booked statuses, or all orders which are not yet ship confirmed, or all orders not interfaced or all future orders entered after this price change is saved?
I did'nt understand this question actually. I think the price change is done on an order to order basis, if it is done for a particular order I don't think so it would affect further orders. If i'm changing the price in my price list then surely it would affect future orders.
    5. Do I need to make this price change in the price list also?
This depends on ur business situation. If the price change is permanent u can make the changes in the price list also. Our business situation demands a base price to be defined in the price list even though the price we enter at the order entry level is always different from what comes from the attached price list.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Price change summary report & approach of price change on Sales Orders

    Hi,
I have made the setups for updating the price on Sales Order via profile options (i update the list price field on SO line the SO line price gets updated). The Customer have manual price overide in their existing system in place so they want same in oracle system as well. Their price change doesn't have any serious logic,,it is quite erratic based on market condition on that day.
    (1) How can I get the report fro the changed price wrt price on price list for all the items on Sales Orders (during a period). It seems, Audit trial functionality for changing list price is not available.
    (2) For the system whether required price change as above is better approach or maintaining new price list all the time is preferable option. In case of new price list, do we have any standard report which fetches itemwise price change details on Sales Orders for a period.
    Thanks.
    With Best Regards,
    Nirabh Nayan

    Nirabh,
Did you say you update the List Price itself in the Order Lines? In my opinion you should never update List Price. Set the profile OM: Discounting Privilege to 'Unlimited' to allow update of Selling Price, but switch off 'OM: List Price Override Privilege' for the responsibilities so that List Price field is not Editable. So that List Price always reflect the price with which Order Line was created (From the price List). Now create a custom report wherever Unit Selling Price does not match Unit List Price.
If you really want to go a little further then create a modifier with Application method 'New Price' that should kick in everytime the Unit Selling Price is updated. Let me know if that helped.

  • Changes in production order/Process order

    Hi Experts,
Very much hopeful that I will get solutuion of below:
How or where to see changes done in production / process order.
e.g Suppose I have created one production order. Then release it in CO02. Then I changed order quantity from 100 to 200 ( Earlier it was 100 ). Then I delete one BOM component from order. Then I changed finish date of order.
Pls tell me how to track these changes. What configuration need to track these changes. Please tell me step by step procedure.
I have read related thread in sdn itself but not satisfied.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Vipul

    Hi,
For tracking in changes of Production / Process Order, you need to activate Order Change Management (OCM). After activating the same, you can view changes of Production  order in CO02 / CO03.
for more details of OCM go through following link :
    [Order Change Management (OCM)|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/a5/63198843a211d189410000e829fbbd/frameset.htm]

  • Item credit price changed in Sales order - credit management.

    Dear Friends,
In Sale order item change log shows ' item credit price changed' . Item credit price  comes from 'Total ' value line in pricing which is the sum or prices and taxes. But where as none of prices and taxes that contribute to this total have been changed,  the change long shows item credit price as changed from a value to other .
This sale order has many items and for most items same is the case. For some items it looks like quanity got confirmed eventually through back order or availability check from VA02. The  change log for the document also shows 'credit released value' also as changed.
User wants to know how item credit price which is nothing but total value line is shown as changed when none of the prices and taxes have been changed
Could someone throw light on this?
    Regards
    Mahesh.

    Hi Murali ,
First, Thanks for the reply .
In this issue what happened is,  after couple of items  added, the sales order was released for credit check. Later changes have been made to this credit released document either by way of adding new items or by confirming the availability check for some items . Because of this change log is showing ' realeased credit vlaue' as changed from certain vlaue to the other . How this could have affected change in item credit price    which is coming form toal value line which is nothing but netvalue ( price -disccount+ taxes assingend with subtoal 'A' ) ?
What exactly is the concept of released credit value and its relation to item credit price ?
As per releasing the document that is not a problem but user's request is he  wants to know why this is happening .
Please help me in understanding this better.
    regards
    Mahesh

  • Price Changes from 5 January 2013

BT Broadband Option 1 increases from £17.80 to £18.85
BT Broadband Option 2 increases from £22.50 to £23.80
BT Broadband Option 3 increases from £26.80 to £28.35
BT Infinity Option 1 increases from £21.00 to £22.20
BT Infinity Option 2 increases from £26.80 to £28.35
The standard line rental price increases from £14.60 to £15.45
The Unlimited Anytime Plan increases from £4.90 to £5.15.
What if I'm unhappy with the price changes?
We're sorry you're are unhappy about how the price rises affect you and would rather that you stayed with BT as we believe we offer fantastic services and products. We've kept a number of our key prices frozen since December 2011 and will be freezing many of our prices again from the 5 January 2013 until 2014 at the earliest. However if you contact us directly within 10 calendar days of receiving our price change notification you may cease your services without penalty.
Well I for 1can not afford to pay anymore than what I'm paying so I'm off.

    It's lunacy.
Just had "the email" myself and I'm wondering just how many millions BT must have spent in their fight with SKY for advertising that customers come to BT for phone, broadband and vision and how many, including me, will be staying.
I can't afford these price hikes.  We are in a recession in the UK - or hasn't BT noticed?
Going to have to change provider.  Shame on BT to them and to the customers who have already been paying a lot more than the competions prices - and I wonder how they will explain the (massive) migration from BT to other providers in January to the shareholders
I am going to apply for my MAC in December, so I am not in the pile up!

  • Change in Production order/ process order

Can anyone tell me where are the changes being stored  for the Production order/ process order? I mean in what table?
    Regards,
    Subhasish

    Hey,
Any change made to the order data is logged using change documents. These changes are recorded in the tables CDHDR and CDPOS. The change document object for orders is ORDER.
For information on change documents click this link
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/2a/fa0175493111d182b70000e829fbfe/content.htm">Overview</a>
To read the change documents use functions CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ_HEADERS and CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ_POSITIONS.
You can find the change document objects using transaction SCD0.

  • Price changed in Sales order.

    Hi,
Is there any T- code which will tell me that in How many Sales order price is changed   after entering the price initially????
    regards,
    Amol

    Hi,
Go to Transaction code se16n. Enter the table name as CDHDR. In the field, change document object enter VERKBELEG and also enter VA02 ( For changes done in order ) or VF02 (for changes done in Invoice). Once you execute this, you will get a list of change document numbers. Copy the same and pass the 'change document numbers' in the table CDPOS ( again using SE16N ). This will now give you the list of sales orders ( or invoices) and also the relevant changes done. This should suffice your requirement.

http://www.adobe.com/au/education.html  - Clearly says $14.99 for student subscription but changes to $19.99 when I go to checkout.  I have an edu account and Adobe ID with same address.  Can I checkout with the $14.99 price.

Notice the au in the link and also notice the price is A$ 14.99. Is your Adobe ID billing address and credit card for Austrlia or for the United States?

  • Price Change in Framework Order for services, with Invoicing Plan

    Hi All,
I create a F.O for a single item with Acct assignment"K" and Item Cat"D". The FO has two service masters with a common cost centre, with different tax codes. E.g.One with N2(19%) and the other with V0(0%). This FO is created with a periodic Invoicing plan.
When I run MRIS for the first month, the invoice is posted with the correct values. For the second month when I change the prices randomly for the services at the service level, the invoice is posted with wrong values.
But when I change the prices proportionately,e.g. for Serv1. from 100 to 200,300,400.. and for Serv.2. from 10 to 20,30,40.. respectively, the Invoices are calculated correctly.
Could you please reply the reason for such a system behaviour and also the possible solution or the OSS notes for this issue. I am working in version 4.7.
    Thanks,
    Suresh Natarajan.

    Hi Steve,
    1) The invoice is calculated at a random value and I couldn't make out the proportions.
    2) Yes, the invoicing plan is Periodic with the Invoicing date as the last day of the month. The order is valid for 2 years(01.01.2007 TO 31.12.2009) and therefore in the invoicing plan of the PO, there will be invoices till 31.12.2009 with the Invoice Block. At the end of everymonth, the block will be removed for processing the Invoice(MRIS).During this time, if there is any change in the prices, we can change it and remove the Invoice Block and save the PO. Here when we change the prices randomly and execute the MRIS, it is throwing wrong values(i.e.the tax calculated is wrong)
    Thanks,
    Suresh.
