Pricing document locked

Hi all,
   I am new to CRM consulting and now I got a vague idea of Pricing.
   We have created quotations in mobile sales and send to online. In CRM online the error message displayed is "PRICING Document is already locked in transaction".
I see the conditions tab is initial and also in "Prices" tab  the input box "Pricing Procedure" field is empty. As far as I know the "Pricing procedure" is automatically filled based on the following inputs - Sales organization, distribution channel, document pricing procedure and customer pricing procedure.
According to this combination a pricing procedure already exist.
But I have the following doubts
1. The quotation is created with a sold to party business partner 'X'. This buisness partner 'X' has only 3 roles - a. Buisness partner (general)
b. Financial Services BP
c. Prospect.
The business partner 'X' does not have a role "Sold to party". Is this creating problems in determining automatically the pricing procedure? (Howerver the sales organization, division is filled automatically from oppurtinities in quotations).
2. Tables.
   order header details are stored in table "CRMD_ORDERADM_H" and pricing details are stored in table "CRMD_PRICING". But table "CRMD_PRICING" does not contain the pricing data determination information. If you could see in segment 'ORDERADM_H' of BDoc 'BUS_TRANS_MSG' you could see the segement field 'KALSM'. This segement field storeds the pricing procedure name, how is the field filled and in which CRM online table the data is stored.
3. Additional table Info
  As I know table "CRMD_PRICING" is the oline pricing table. What are these tables "PRCD_HEAD", "PRCD_ITEM" AND "PRCD_COND" ? . Are these online tables, or CDB tables or what?
4. How is IPC linked with CRM online, when a new quotation is created in CRM online.

  • Document Lock Error

    Hi, all.
    I have a Question.
    I want to make my document locked.
    So I set the lock function through Adobe 9 Pro.
    In the 'Security Menu', I chose the Thing titled "Password blah blah"
    I did and opened the file through Adobe Reader.
    But there was an error.
    I could open the document which was locked through Adobe 9 Pro but not through Adobe Reader.
    Why happened? If you know the solution, plz let me know

    Still there is an error.
    I set the function as you said. But it's same.
    There is no error when the file is opend by Acrobat pro 9.x
    But by Acrobat Reader X, there is an error.
    In detail, when I open the file, I can input the password.
    And then, if the password is not correct, I can input it again.
    but if the password is correct, the error message appeared.
    I guess the security function is supported function but there is a kind of version issue.
    Now, I'm using Acrobat Pro 9.x and Acrobat Reader X.
    Have you ever uesed the security function? If so, let me know how I can set the password or set the other options.

    From which tables I have to fetch for particular pricing document that has a particular Condition type?For exampe i am asked for to fetch Pricing document 'IDV' that has a 'ZQTG' Pricing Condition Type.By the way is there any difference between pricing document and pricing condition.

    The entries will be in a combination of tables. In
    simple you can get it from KONH and KONP. But to determine them is a hardsome task.
      Let me try to write it down for you understanding.
    To extract the prices:
      Firstly it depends on the condition type eg: ZCND.
      Next the access sequences: eg: 501, 502. Access
    sequences defines the combination of fields. This
    combination of data you can see in KONH-VAKEY.
      So the reference tables will be A501 & A502.
      From these tables you can get the condition record
    number(KNUMH). Using KNUMH you can go to KONH and KONP
    to extract prices.
      Above is for extraction. Hope the info is helpful for
    you.

  • Delivery Document Lock Issue in Z Program using BAPI(s)

    Hi,
    I am a functional consultant posting this in ABAP forum. We have developed a Z-Program.
    User enters the Service Order no. in this program and executes it.
    The program then updates the following linked documents in the following sequence using BAPI(s)
    Outbound Delivery
    Service Notification
    Service Order (This is done using BDC of IW32)
    It sometimes happens that once the Program reaches the iw32 bdc, it gives error "Delivery XXXXXXXX is locked by User ID XXXXXX"
    The user ID being that of the person executing the transaction.
    This happens like 3 out of 100 times in the Production Server. We are unable to replicate this issue in Quality or Development Server.
    We believe it to be a performance issue (database updating is slow)
    However Client wants us to investigate the Program and see what is possible.
    We are thinking of putting WAIT after the BAPI(s) of the Delivery Update.
    Any suggestions, please help.

    These documents are seperate objects but are interlinked. i.e I can see in the Document Flow for Service Order, which is the Service Notification and Outbound Delivery for the Material.
    Also, If I'm in change mode in the Outbound Delivery, I cannot go into the change mode of the Service Order.
    Yes, we are using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after each BAPI in the Program. We have used the Wait Statement in all BAPIs for the Service Notification. These BAPI(s) are before the IW32 BDC.
    I am copying code from one of the commit BAPI(s)
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'
                    EXPORTING
                      wait = c_x.
                  WAIT UP TO 1 SECONDS.
    I noticed in the Outbound Delivery BAPI(s) (two of them) don't have the wait in the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT. Hence I though if we add this, could this resolve the issue?
    Service Order gets updated last through BDC for IW32 after all the BAPI(s) are executed for Outbound Delivery and Service Notification.
    I understand WAIT would increase processing time, that is why I am posting this to know if we have some other solution available for such a lock issue.

    Hi, somehow all my CS3 documments are locked, i can open them and resize objects but can't move anything and nothing seems to be selected as locked. It is probably something really simple, but i;m very pushed for time at the momement, need to know quickly. Cheers

    If the objects were on the master page or a locked layer, you would not be able to select them, and if they were locked using Object > Lock position you could select them, but not resize them, so my guess is they probably are not locked at all.
    Further, you are saying this happens in all documents, so my first suggestion would be to replace your preferences:

  • MS Office documents locking itself when user is trying to save it on a network drive.

    As the subject states I am having a issue with a user that when he is trying to save a document it is stating that the file is in use by another user.... for every single document he tries to save to.
    I made a test account and assigned it to the same domain group and it does the same thing but the user said this didn't start happening until a few days ago and nobody changed the groups NTFS permissions for this folder.
    I checked the file server for file locks and it is stating that he is the one locking it with read/write permissions.
    He can save to other documents fine that is non MS Office related, and if he opens the file going through the MS Office program instead of opening it from the windows explorer viewer it saves fine.
    Now I looked at his NTFS permissions since another department at my job seems to think this is NTFS related but he has read/write/modify access but does not have access to delete.
    When I give him the access to be able to delete in this folder everything works fine but I don't feel the risk is justifiable to give him access to delete files just so he can save MS Office documents when he should be able to save to begin with.
    I tried looking on the internet for a couple hours and couldn't find anything that quite fit this situation.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    You would need to user Adobe creative cloud packager which creates an installation package and deploy to users machines. i assume, you are installing Adobe creative cloud desktop app from a network drive which is not recommended.

  • How to make InDesign CS5 documents lock to other users on network when open

    We have multiple users using InDesign CS5 across our network.  In InDesign CS4 when one person had a page open, it was locked to any other users, but in CS5 the pages are not locked, and this causes changes not to be saved.  We want them to lock, any suggestions?

    We have a mac environment, with a mac server.  Editorial dept. opens the pages to put stories on, and at different times another dept. needs the pages to put ads on the page. We all use InDesign CS5. When any dept has a page open, it does show the .idlk file, but still allows another user to open the document.  However, once in a while,  it locks it and doesn't let anyone else open it, which is what we want.  This all worked in InDesign 4,  it started when we upgraded to CS5.  We aren't doing anything out of the ordinary.

  • DFS-R - Office Documents locked problem

    Dear Forum Members,
    Recently I faced a really "threatening" problem, which you may seen before so know the solution for it. We had an old File Server, used Disk2VHD to move it's complete D: drive to another Windows Server 2012 R2. After this, we enabled DFS replication
    for the whole drive to another Active Directory site WS2012R2 file server (just for backup). It is important that we use DFS-N for users to discover this share but they have folder targets JUST for the first one server, the second one is just for backup purposes.
    The problem is that DFS-R comes with default exclusions (~*, *.bak, *.tmp), but in order to keep full sync, we removed them. Now users complain that several times they can not save Office documents (typically excel) because the files are locked! Even for
    NEW files, when they try to save an .xls/.xlsx from Outlook, the file is imeediately locked!
    After this we put back the exclusions immediately, because we taught that the problem comes from the Office temporary files. The event log contained a lot of warnings that tmp files could not be synced because of locked. Now I can not see other tmp files
    warnings anymore, but there are still warnings in the DFS log, for example:
    Event ID 4302 - The DFS Replication service has been repeatedly prevented from replicating a file due to consistent sharing violations encountered on the file. The service failed to stage a file for replication due to a sharing violation.
    And this is for an .xlsm file.
    What else could be the problem? Has anyone ran in this situation already?

    Sorry for the delay reply.
    DFS Replication uses staging folders for each replicated folder to act as caches for new and changed files that are ready to be replicated from sending members to receiving members. These files are stored under the local path of the replicated folder in
    the DfsrPrivate\Staging folder. So if no new files and changed files, the folder is empty.

  • Document Lock Entry Error Message

    Hello,
    I have an SAP EP 6.0, SRM4.0/EBP 5.0 system landscape. The shopping cart is used for document approvals as a workaround.
    However, when a user clicks on the shopping cart document in the SAP Business Workplace Inbox, and tries to return to the initial page, using the "Back to Approval" link, a message is displayed saying
    "the <user> is already processing the document>".
    The SAP Notes 888306 and 751884 have been applied as recommended by SAP, but the error still continues.
    I would appreciate any suggestions that will resolve this issue.

  • Why is layer 1 locked in every new document?

    Hello,
    I'm trying to be less facetious than truly interested. What is/are the benefits of having every background layer of a newly opened document locked? I have never come across a need for it and wish it wasn't. It only means I have to create a new layer and import an image to that. Or, double click the layer to unlock it. Is there a way to permanently eliminate that "preference?" It's like entering a room with your shoes tied together.

    It's a legacy/compatibility thing.
    You can eliminate these auto-magically by:
    1. Select File>Scripts>Script Events Manager...
    2. Make sure "Enable Events to Run Scripts/Actions" is checked in the upper left of the dialog
    3. Select "Open Document" from Photoshop Event pop-up
    4. Select "Open as Layer" from the Script pop-up.
    5. Click the [Add] button in the right-hand coumn.
    6. Click the [Done] button in the upper right-hand corner of the dialog.

  • How do I stop pages from locking my documents when I don't access them for a while?

    Every time I open up a document I've not looked at for a little while, Pages decides to lock it. It's not a big deal, it's just an annoyance with absolutely no obvious use that I wish I could be rid of.

    You can't turn it off entirely, but you can change the period of time before documents lock in the Options tab of Time Machine Preferences.

    I have some very important documents locked up on the cloud.... They have syncronized onto iCloud and are now all completely inaccessable... They are not lost - they're just locked up with a loading bar across the bottom... I'm not sure what to do - My iPad is connected to a very stable WiFi and I have full access to the internet on the iPad - but just cannot get the sync to work correctly...
    Is iCloud just locked up because of all the traffic?

    I have a similar problem.  I am wondering if it is confusion since I had a previous MobileMe account.  But same problem, the Pages documents went into the Cloud and I can't retrieve them on my iPad or via a browser.  They just show an "updating" bar.
