    Hi,
I am not a Sales Consultant and getting the error "Pricing error in item 000001  Message no. VF073" when doing the billing in VF01. Invoice number has been generated but system has not posted the accounting document.
Please suggest me step by step procedure for what shall I do to rectify the error....
    Thanks and regards

First check in pricing analysis in your doc,
Which condition type is marked as mandatory.
And whether that is relevant to mandatory for the transaction.
If not then use TCode V/08 .
Then in your pricing procedure remove mandatory check against the condition type or else maintain the value to the condition type.
You can refer one of previously posted response for the same.

  • Pricing error in item 000025 Message no. VF073

    Hi All,
When I goto vf02 it is giving error "Pricing error in item 000025 Message no. VF073"
When I double click on item 25 & goto "condition" it is giving error "Pricing error: Mandatory condition ZY01 is missing Message no. V1801",although I do not need the value for the item(25) but it has to take the amount which has been maintained in VK11.
For item(26) everything is perfect "no error"
    This is batch related billing
Item          Description                     Billed Qnty          SU           Net Value
    25       MIX YARN SPUN              0                       KG       0.00
    26       MIX YARN SPUN              766.200       KG      26,050.80
Is there any way to resolve the problem
    Thanks in advance
    Umed rathore

    Hi Umed rathore,
Check what is the pricing procedure assigned to your document.
You can change it to non mandatory using the T.Code V/08.
Select your procedure and then click on control.Required is ticked there.Uncheck this one.Save.
Is it appearing in Sales order?
If it is coming in sales order then it should also come in Billing. For this goto VTFA if it is order related billing else goto VTLA if it is delivery related billing.
Click on item.Select your item category.
Details.Select the value "E" for the field Pricing source.
Save. Now it will also appear in invoice if it is appeared in order.
But you are telling that that condition is not important for you.So make it as nonmandatory and cancel the billing document.
In the sales order in updatation select option "B" and then recreate the invoice.
Check analysis for that condition type.
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • Exchange Rate conversion error

Good day.  I am wondering if anyone can help me with this.
When trying to post customer invoice in FB70, I get this error
"Enter rate NGN / 10000 rate type M for 30.08.2010 in the system settings
    Message no. SG105
    Diagnosis
For the conversion of an amount into another currency, an entry is missing in the currency conversion table."
On checking the currency conversion table, exchange rates have been maintained.  I do not understand this message particularly because it does not say which two currencies are questionable.
Also, when running settlement from Projects to CO-PA, I get a similar error,
"Enter rate  /  rate type  for  in the system settings
    Message no. SG105
    Diagnosis
For the conversion of an amount into another currency, an entry is missing in the currency conversion table.
Any ideas where this error is coming from?

    Hi,
What is the copany code curreny (You can check that in OBY6)?
What is the document currency you are entering in FB70?
The exchange rate for these two should have been maintained.
(In case the exchange rate factors have been customized using cross exchange rates, then the exchange rate with refence to that cross currency needed to be maintained.)

  • Error in Exchange rate conversion from SC to PO is wrong

    Hello All,
We are using Extended classic scenario, Local PO will get automatically get created
After the completion of shopping cart approval.
We are facing one issue in the price of automatically created PO and Shopping cart.
Ie there is price difference between the PO and shopping cart
    For Egs:
Shopping cart created with 1.0 EUR and showing 1.35 USD as the final price in shopping cart whereas it shows 1.56 USD in PO.
We also checked the currency conversion table ( tcurr, where it 1 EUR = 1.35 USD), ie also showing the correct entries.
I believe there might be some problem in the currency exchange rates.
I have also run these jobs BBP_GET_EXRATE / BBP_GET_CURRENCY to update the currency /exchange rates but still the same issue exists.
Any pointers for the same will be really appreciated.
    Thanks inn advance.

  • Exchange rate conversion po

    Dear all,
In PO I want to maintain the exchange rate in USD at header level and it should display in INR after multiplying with the quantity and converting from USD at item level in Condition tab.
    regards,
    Madhu.

    Madhu,
I am not sure I understood what you wrote, however I am assuming that the
Echange rate currency is in USD,  Usually this is the Vendor currency also, unless you change it.
The PO has been created for company code in India hence currency INR.
When you create a PO , you'd notice the items with a currney USD and under Conditions, you'd notice a converison in to INR as well
So if the COmapny Code is ABCD Currency INR and vendor 1000 with currency USD
You'd notice exchange rate as USD with the equivalent conv factor.
Now at the line item level consider a material 2000 for 20 qty and 2 USD each
U'd note that it shows 2000; QTy 20, price $2 EA
under conditions u'll note 20 EA $40 in one column and its equiavalent conversion in INR which'd approximately be  INR 1600 in an other column.
Now Tell me what your issue is

  • Exchange rate conversion

I have maintained exchange rate between

    INR  to EUR
    in OB08
Is it mandatory to maintain exchange rate between "GBP to INR".
As per my knowledge if we maintain GBP to EUR and INR to EUR, as per derivative rule system should recognise conversion rate between GBP to INR,  if I am correct could you please let me how to maintain configuration setting in this case.

    HI Eli,
    Thank you for ealier answer
As we are changing client level setting i.e. OB07,
We have maintained under same client 5 different company codes with different company codes currencies.  Will there be any consequences

  • Reg : Exchange rate conversion

    Hi all ,
I am using the function module 'READ_EXCHANGE_RATE' to find the exchange rate .
I am using the below parameters ..
    date = sy-datum,
    FCURR = 'CAD',
    TCURR = 'USD'.
I am getting the exchange rate as '1.496' is coming from TCURRtable.
But for this CAD to USD i have 5 entries in table with different Exchange rate based on the Exchange rate type. In this case what needs to be done to get the correct exchange rate?
    Thanks,
    Krishna.

Type of rate M=Average rate G=Bank buying rate B=bank sellin
For conversion we use type 'M'.

  • DTW Error -- "Exchange Rate Not Updated"

After resolving my other document loading errors identified by the DTW, I now receive the same error for every record that I try to load for Purchase Invoices, Sales Orders and Sales Invoices.  It is…
<b>Exchange rate not updated, ‘USD’  Notice: all records are rollbacked.</b>
Any idea how to fix this?  I'm confused since I built the company with both Local and System Currencies as “US Dollar”, the Default Account Currency is the “Local Currency”, and the document load includes the DocCurrency field (set to "USD").
I need to get this data loaded soon.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Kind Regards,
    Scott

    My issues have been resolved...
    (1) The GL account must be an "expense" account.  The data migration that I am performing is pulling from another system that stores these transaction in a different way.  Therefore, even though the accounts from the source ERP system to B1 have been mapped correctly, I had to use a different "expense" account as the GL account associated with transactions in B1.
    (2) The DocType was, indeed, necessary to handle Service-type Purchase Invoices.  However, the DTW requires that the DocType value be set to '0' (for Items) or '1' (for Services).  This differs from the 1-character designation stored in the database table OPCH, a 'I' (for Items) and 'S' (for Services).  I would make a humble suggestion to SAP to setup the DTW accepted field values the same as are found in the database (or, at least, have a single and comprehensive resource for knowing what these accepted values should be).
    and, as noted above...
    (3) The DocCurrency and DocRate fields were required to load my data.  I suspicion that DocCurrency is required for all loads.  However, DocRate may not be since it could be set in the Exchange Rate form within B1.  Since my setup used the LC as the default currency AND I am using USD for both LC and SC, I believe it was necessary for me to use the DocRate field for this load.  This is another eccentricity that I would suggest SAP enclose within some sort of documentation about the DTW tool.
The use of the DTW can be significantly simplified for customers with documentation and examples on its use.  The existing documentation is deficient.  Otherwise, I find it a nice tool to ease the data migration process for setting up Companies.
Should anyone have further questions on my experience with this issue or other DTW-related topics, I would be pleased to reply with my experiences.  My contact information is available through my profile on this site.
    Kind Regards,
    Scott

  • Exchange rate conversion in Expense claim

    HI there
The user community for my travel variant would like to enter both the foreign currency amount and the converted amount i.e. this would cause the actual exchange rate to be calculated as opposed to the converted amount being calculated. Is this possible and if so, how?
We are working through the ESS portal so this would need to be an ESS setting/config.
    Thanks and regards
    Linda

    Hi,
    Yes. This can be done.
In the expense claim portal, you will have a push button called Enter expenses. That is where the traveller will claim his expenses via expense type.
In standard, you will have lots of columns there. For your requirement, these two columns named Expenses Currency and Local amount should be visible.
    Please follow the path :
Spro > Financial Accounting (new) > Travel Management > Employee Self-Services > Interface Configuration for Web Dynpro Interface in Travel Management > Schema and Single Field Control for Web Dynpro.
    1. Select Your Trip provision variant
    2. Drill down your trip schema
    3. Drill down Return Value According to Feature TRVFD
    4. Drill down Web Interface (Travel Expenses Only)
    5. Drill down Trip Receipts
    6. Select PTRV_UTIL_BELEG-BETRG, PTRV_UTIL_BELEG-BLDAT , PTRV_UTIL_BELEG-WAERS on the right side of the screen, make sure standard format is selected.
    7. Select the other fields and select Alternative display type and remove the tick mark from field is visible.
You will be able to find the local currency amount there. The exchange rate is picked from TCURR table. Maintain rates accordingly
    Trust this helps.
    Best Regards,
    Raj

  • Message no. SG028 Ambiguous... exchange rate relation

    Hi Friends,
I have a free of charge order. While doing the Post Goods Issue step, I am getting the following error message
    Ambiguous EUR/USD exchange rate relations
    Message no. SG028
I have searched in the forum and made sure that in transaction OB08 Exchange Rate EUR/US and USD/EUR (Exchange Rate Type M) has maintained properly in the system.
I have also made sure that the entries are properly maintained in SPRO - General Settings - Currencies - Define Translation Ratios for Currency Translation.
But still the error is coming, I saw in one thread, some one has reported the same problem even after maintaining the exchange rates in OB08, but no solution was suggested as far as I check. could anyone please give some inputs why the same error coming even though the exchange rates are maintained and how to fix this issue as I stuck in Post Goods Issue step
    Thank you

    Hi Christian,
    Thanks for your time.
I've found the below entries in OBBS
    M   USD    EUR     01.01.1900        100 : 1
    M   EUR    USD     01.01.1900         1    : 100
Alternative currency is blank in both entries
In OB07 for exchange rate Type M all the fields (Ref. currency, Buy and Sell rate) and the check boxes are blank. it is still unclear for me being a logistics guy
While doing Post Goods Issue in other scenario I didnt have any error where currency GBP EUR invovled. In this case the OBBS entries EUR/GBP as below
    M   GBP    EUR     01.01.2000        1 : 1
    M   EUR    GBP     01.01.2000        1 : 1
Alaternative currency is blank in this case as well.
Does the valid from date or the ratio make any difference?
I could not clarify with my FI consultant as he is on vacation. Could you please let me know how to fix it.
    Thank you

  • Pricing exchange rate type

    Hello All,
Please expalin the on pricing exchange rate type in copy controls.
    Copy from sales order
Price exchange rate = Accouting rate
Exchange rate determination according to billing date
Exchange rate determination according to pricing date
Exchange rate determination according to current date
Exch.rate determination accord.to date of services rendered
User will change the bill to party during billing based the bill to part currency will be determined at billing header.
But currency in sales order is INR and if user changes the bill to party(Foreign) currency in billing will be EURO
and user want to cancel the invoice cannot able to cancel because currency from sales order to billing is different.
How can we fix the issue. Can we use any of the above mentioned pricing exchange rate types to fix the issue.

    Hi
See SAP Note 22781 - Exchange rate in accounting, exchange rate type, problem C. It explains how to work the data en table TVCPF (data mantained in tcode VTFA). I suggest to set a break point in this coding and debug it to undertand how it works.

As you said, you are not maintaining any Exchange rate differences, It may not be required a Exch rate Diffrences account.
