Pricing for Domestic , imports and service

We have following scenarios:
Domestic purocurement.
1. Purchase of Consumables, Excise duty credit taken (Cenvetable)
2. Purchase of Spares, Excise duty credit taken (Cenvetable)
3. Purchase of Services, Service tax credit taken.
4. Purchase of Consumables, NO Excise duty credit
5. Purchase of Spares, NO Excise duty credit
Imports.
1. Purchase of Consumables, Import duty credit taken (Cenvetable)
2. Purchase of Spares, Import duty credit taken (Cenvetable)
3. Purchase of Consumables, NO Import duty credit
4. Purchase of Spares, NO Import duty credit
I am thinking to have a pricing Procedure for Domestic, one for Imports and one for Services.
could you please explain procedure as i go correct or not

Hi,
Note required three Pricing Procedures ieu2026u2026 Domestic, Imports and Services as two Pricing Procedures is enough as per your above procurement processes u2026ieu2026 Domestic, Imports .You can have a condition type for service and insert in both procedure which triggers ONLY when material not there in purchasing document.
Regarding CENVAT credit or adding to inventory A/C, you can very well controlled with individual tax code creation with separate condition type for each ( like for example: JMIP: BED inventoried and JMOP-BED Setoff) by using tax procedure( TAXINN or TAXINJ).

  • How can same vendor code be used for domestic & import purchases?

    Hi
We have a vendor who was initially supplying domestic goods but now we are also going to import goods from him.
The Client doesnt want two separate vendor codes since they cannot get composite balance for domestic as well as for imports under one vendor code.
I do understand we cannot have two different Reconcilliation accounts for one vendor code even and if we have just one reconcilliation account we cannot bifurcate domestic and foreign purchases.
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    Kapil

    Hi,
It is not possible to change the reconciliation account (SpGL or alternative account) in MIRO transaction. Of course you can make some modifications in MIRO in order to open for changes field "G/L account" on "Details" screen, but if you should not foget to modify MR8M.
Another alternative is to repost the MIRO documents (vendor oen items) to the alternative reconcilation account with FB01.

  • Using ASCP for Repair Planning and Service Parts Planning

I have a client that is doing a large scale Oracle ERP (most modules). The customer is a large aircraft maintainer and perform most of the maintenance internal. Has anyone implemented ASCP is a complex repair environment that his heavily influenced by service parts concepts. I am a Xelus/ClickCommerce implementor and I am looking for some insight on how to implement the key service parts concepts including: fractional repair BOM's/Factors, time phased bills of materials, importing time phased re-order points, time phased carcass returns , constraint based planning on carcasses, material and resources.

    Partha ,
The simple scenario mentioned by you where one supplier/supplier site is there for an item and supplying to two org ... the suggested due date can be different by having different purchasing lead time(pre processing + post processing + processing) set at item org level .
But this solution will not work when you have multiple supplier/supplier site is there for an item rog combination. However here it can be tried modeling through a combination of post processing lead time at ASL Level and pre processing lead time + post processing lead time at item org level.

  • Service billing for the material and service registers

    Dear All,
I have doubt, if i do a sale of material 'X' and for the same material if i have to do a service invoice for rendering some service at the customer end. eg:- service charges for transportaion of the material to the customer place, doing installation charges for the material at the customer end etc.,
how should i go about it in SD .
    A. Should i have to create a seperate mm master record for the list of service with the item category group LEIS
    B. or is it possible to do a service invoice with out creating a sales order i.e directly based on the billing of the material 'x'
    C. Is there any service tax register standard available. or if i wanted to create a service master should i have to ask the abaper to develop a z program for it
    d. is this tcode can be used S_ALR_87012357 for service tax registers?
    kindly update me on this
    thanking you in advance
    kumi

    Hi
You need to create a material with item category group
    a) LEIS (Service without Delivery) or
    b) DIEN (Service with Delivery)
Based on the same you could bill the customer.
    ... Please.
    with kind regards

  • How to use XML Gateway for Order Import and Item Import?

    Hello XML gurus,
I'm working in Oracle Apps area and do not have much knowledge on XML or web programming. Currently in my project there is a need to use Order Import and Item Import using interface tables and XML Gateway. The items/orders information will be in the XML format from Siebel system, there will be no custom processing...just process the data as-is.
I've read the XML Gateway user guide but did not understand much.
    Anyone with similar implementation experience?
I'm looking for a step-by-step guide on what needs to be done in Oracle Apps side to populate the interface tables from XML file and call the import APIs?
Your inputs, suggestions, tips are highly appreciated. :)
    Thx,
    Jags

I have a similar requirement to automate the order import and was looking at XML Gateway. Please update if you were able to find more information.

  • Same vendor for procuring Goods and Services

    Dear all,
Is it possible to procure goods and services (eg, freight services) from the same vendor?
If possible, are there any settings to be done in the vendor master or in the POs?
    Thanks
    Shankar

    Hi,
You can procure material and service (Fright) charges from same vendor.
At the time of purchase order creation you can assign condition type for fright charges at item detail level >> Condition tab of purchase order.
After enter material detail go in condition tab and select condition type for fright charges.

    Hi,
depends on the settings in Source System.
Usually you can gen structural information out of the LIS extractors 2LIS_18*.
In most cases the costs ar processed in CO-Overhead-Management.
    Check Extractor 0CO_OM_OPA_6 with CO-Number (0COORDER) = Number of Service-Document.
If you get all required data by this depends on the settings in Source System.
Probably you've got other CO-Applications (Like ABC or WBS). Then check in these Applcations for other extractors.

  • Advice for audio import and how do i find the item ID?

    Hi all,
I am a bit stuck and hoping for a bit of help. i need to add voice over to my project but i am a bit stuck as to the best way to do this. My project is in Chinese and has Chinese captions. I don't speak any Chinese at all.
In terms of the voice recording i don't know anyone that speaks Chinese so i am sending the text captions externally to get them recorded. As i don't speak Chinese i am a bit nervous about the import process and what the final output will sound like.
In my export document i can see each caption has an item id - my audio files will come back as an individual recording for each caption, i am assuming they will name the files the same as the item id in the word doc.
My question is - i have a slide with 4 captions - when i export the captions they are each assigned a unique item id - say the voice over person records each of these captions and then they are named with the item id - what is the most efficient way of importing them back in and assigning them to the correct caption? Is there a way of seeing the caption's item id within Captivate? if i could then i could check the caption's item id and then import the corresponding audio file to it. In the absecen of being able to see the item id how will i know which caption each audio fuile belongs to? i could try to decipher iot based on the caption's text and compare that to the text in the word doc but that will take forever and as i don't know any chinese is not very foolproof
maybe i am doing this all wrong and there is an easier way??
    Please help !
    Thanks
    Deb

If you printed the Network Configuration Page, then it SHOULD be on it. It's named 'Hardware Address(MAC)' on the page. If you don't find it there, which is highly unlikely and surprising, then look at the back of the printer for a white label with a Wireless and LAN symbol on it, and the Mac address will be there.
But to be honest, Mac Filtering is not the best form of security for wireless networks. It can be easily bypassed\intruded by wi-fi network hackers. It's better to assign a WPA or WPA2 security with a WPA key longer than 13 characters. This is nearly impossible to crack currently. So if they can't find the WPA key, they can't connect to the network... which will render Mac Filtering completely useless.
    Cheers.

  • SRM MDM - store multiple pricing for one entry and have it select the price based on a users site

I've had an interesting request. We have a region where they have one supplier who will support some products for multiple sites. The sites are in different cities and so the pricing varies based on the location of the user. I know how to do price scaling in SRM MDM but wasn't sure if there was a way to have one part that could someone pick the right price based on the user. I don't think this can be done since we don't pass any "user" information in the OCI connection.
Has anyone run into this scenario and was there some other way to not duplicate the entries or create a separate view just because the pricing was different for the same product but different site? I'm open for suggestions. I'm looking to make long term maintenance of the data as easy as possible.
We are still running SRM MDM 5.5 SP6
    Thanks,
    Cathy

  • Setting up Figure and Table Titles for Translation Import and Export?

    Hi,
I use InDesign to write User Manuals. Once the manual complete, I use SDL World Server to translate the document which works wonderful. The way it works is the document is parsed by the xml data and when you export the document from SDL, the translated data replaces the English data, it’s pretty slick! The problem that I have is that my Figure and Table numbers are hard coded with the word "Figure" and "Table” as part of the numbering system and will not translate nor export (see screenshot below). Is there A.) A way I can make the code become a reference to a text box in the document that then can be translated? B.) A common or different way to handle this?
If you need any more info, just let me know. Thank you for your help!

I've always avoided that auto-figure-naming stuff, in any application, for the sole reason that it often doesn't localize well. I'm not a WorldServer user, but a SDL Trados Studio user, so I don't know exactly what to tell you. If you're the kind of person to pop your IDML open in a text editor, you'll find that the actual "Figure" text appears in Styles.xml, and I doubt that SDL's IDML filters look there for text for translation. I don't actually know for sure, and I do know you're using an SDL product with which I have no familiarity whatsoever.
A different, somewhat kludgy way to handle this would be to use auto-numbering to create an invisible paragraph number (color of Paper, size of 0.1 pts, glyph width of 1%, or something along those lines), and then have the phrase "Figure" in your live text, followed by a cross-reference to the paragraph number.
A common way to handle this would be to ask SDL to update their IDML filter to pick up terms used in auto-numbered lists.
