Pricing in crm standalone server

Hi All,
Can anybody tell me how to configure pricing in standalone server. If it is possible can anybody send me the document for configuration?
Thanx
Saravana

Hi sarvana,
Firstly you are working in crm 4.0 or crm 5.0?
If crm 4.0 the ipc must be activated so that your pricing which you have configured using the condition techniques works.
If crm5.0 the ipc starts as the server is started and you have to configure the pricing using the condition techniques.
Then you have to assign your sales org, dist chnl, div ,doc pricing procedure to your pricing procedure you defined.
Hope this helps you

  • Create Free Goods in CRM Standalone

    This question is for Paul.
Thanks Paul for your reply to my other question yesterday and I did award points. However, since I am using a standalone CRM there is no way for me to replicate any free goods condition type from from ECC.
My question is, if I have a product A and product B in the CRM standalone system, what configuration I need to make so that when I enter product A in my sales order, product B will be added to the next order line as free goods?
    Your input is appreciated.
    Leon

    Hi Leon,
There is no need to create separate free goods materials/products in CRM. You can make use of the existing materials/products as free goods by assigning appropriate free good condition records. In general free goods master data like materials and pricing condition records can be downloaded from R/3 into CRM. You need to do only the necessary free goods customizing activities under SPRO > CRM > Basic Functions > Free Goods > Setup Free Goods
Please refer to the below SAP help document on free goods for complete understanding : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/b7/4a893a8729337be10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
Refer to the section ‘Replicating Condition Customizing (SAP CRM)’ in C03 best practice document for free good condition records master data download into CRM
Refer to the section ‘Replicating Specific Conditions’ in B09 best practice document for free good customizing data download into CRM
Refer to the section ‘Free Goods’ in C34 best practice document for free good CRM customizing activities.

  • Difference between R/3 pricing and CRM Pricing?

    Hi Gurus
What’s the Difference between R/3 pricing and CRM Pricing
    Thanks
    Mahi

    hi
differences are there in terms of
    Condition Processing
    Condition Technique
    Condition Maintenance
    Differences in Condition Processing
    1. The source condition record cannot be displayed in SAP CRM for technical reasons, when processing conditions in a transaction.
    2. Unlike SAP R/3, SAP CRM recognizes several pricing transactions. This enables you to compare pricing transactions. This can be useful after failed searches or price changes.
    3. The pricing type cannot be predefined when starting a new pricing transaction in SAP CRM.
    Differences in the Condition Technique
    1. Data determination at access level cannot be executed in SAP CRM.
    Differences in Condition Maintenance
    1. It is not possible in SAP CRM to display condition records for predefined selection data in condition lists.
    2. Mass copying of condition records is not possible in SAP CRM.
    3. Change documents are not available in SAP CRM.
    4. Archiving of pricing conditions is not possible in SAP CRM.
hope it will server ur purpose
    best regards

  • SAP Business One 8.81 PL08 Mobile APP CRM Standalone User Access issue

    Dear All
Is any facing the problem of Mobile application user with CRM Standalone license ,this user always has a permission denied problem (he is assigned all the licenses required .and authorization on the SAP is full .  SSL certificate is installed ). I have installed the troubleshooting (.zip) file which dosent show up the panel .
    Any Idea how to resolve?
    Regards
    Dayal

    Hi Dayal,
well, it is neither recommended, nor tested or supported. Such installation attempt would go on your own responsibility. Of course you can try if, for example, a newer version from 8.82 works here, but this should be tested extensively, depending on how other processe are based on it.
Actually your 8.81 PL08 should not have reported problem since B1if version 1.10.0 should have been included in this package and last update action, maybe you can check here again.
In general, we recommend you upgrade to version 9.1 currently, unlike version 8.81 this version is in maintenance and offers all improvements, new features and bugfixes from the last 3,5 years.
I'm sure it's worth to consider a general upgrade.
    I wish you success!
    Best, Peter

  • How to Setup Historical DSC Database on a standalone Server

    Hey @all,
I am looking for documentation how to setup a standalone server for the DSC Module(Ver. 8) Historical Database.
My aim is to log all data to this server. The Server will be running Win2K.
Do I have to install the complete Labview 8 software and the DSC Module?
Does a walkthrough exist how to setup a DSC server?
    Thx!
    Carsten

After installing the runtime you should only have to reboot the computer in order to get the citadel service running.  At the point, for citadel purposes, this machine will behave as though you had the DSC development system installed.  The 8.0 runtime has no setup requirements...it should only need to be installed.  Unlike previous versions, 8.0 requires you to build your application into an executable and the runtime should be invisible to you once you install it.  If this is not the case, please post about it so it can be looked at.
If you have specific questions, please post them and I will either try and help you find the answers, get them posted, or answer them myself.
    Regards,
    Robert

  • 11.2.0.2 Grid Installation for a Standalone Server FAILED!

    OS: OEL-5.5 x86_64 (kernel-2.6.18-194.17.4.0.1.el5, glibc-2.5-49.el5_5.7)
    Product: Oracle 11gR2 (11.2.0.2.0) x86_64 for Linux
    Hi,
I was trying to perform a clean and full 11.2.0.2 installation for a Standalone Server (Single database + ASM + Restart), but unlike 11.2.0.1, this standalone patch, shipped as set of full installation files, has serious flaws mainly due to insane installation and configuration scripts. My environment is as follows:
    ORACLE_BASE=/opt/oracle
    ORACLE_HOME=/opt/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1
    GRID_HOME=/opt/oracle/product/11.2.0/grid
all owned by oracle:dba. ASMLib was configured with four 256 GB partitions on four physical disks.
    1. During grid installation the Prepare, Copy files, Link binaries, Setup files, Execute Root Scripts (root.sh), Update Inventory, Oracle Net Configuration Assistant all succeeded, but ASM Configuration Assistant FAILED and installation couldn't continue. That was because root.sh script (and inside it calling scripts) changed the ownership of ORACLE_BASE and GRID_HOME to root:dba, so that admin and diag directories creations in ORACLE_BASE were not permitted. After fixing that manually as root (immediately after executing root.sh), the installation continues and succeeds.
    2. During installation of Client software the error message window appears stating that cannot find the /opt/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/oui/bin/runInstaller.var file. By pressing the Continue button the installation continues ignoring this.
    3. If Oracle Scheduler Agent is selected for installation during Client software installation, the Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control Release 11.2.0.2.0 cannot start (https problem - cannot establish connection). To fix this, I had to deinstall Client software and install it again without Oracle Scheduler Agent.
    4. The Performance window in Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control Release 11.2.0.2.0 cannot display any graph ("Initializing" and "Transferring data from localhost..." never end).
Are those issues known issues? If they are, why did Oracle ship that standalone patch without testing it before? Given that prior release (11.2.0.1) was free of any errors above, it is really beyond me to figure out this negligence.
    NJ

Are those issues known issues? Have you created service request ? That would be much better to be sure about the workaround you found.
    Nicolas.

  • Getting error while deploying New WebService project on standalone server

    Hi,
I have created a new Model project for WebService and I am able to test this new webservice project by launching "TalentTasksServiceImpl.java" file locally but getting some error while deploying it on standalone server. See below log for more details,
08:03:16 PM INFO: Unable to load annotation javax.interceptor.Interceptors for parsing. The annotation is ignored.
08:03:16 PM INFO: Unable to load annotation javax.interceptor.Interceptors for parsing. The annotation is ignored.

*08:03:16 PM Error: Could not load endpointInterface oracle.apps.hcm.talent.common.tasksService.TalentTasksService*
    08:03:17 PM #### Deployment incomplete. ####
08:03:17 PM WSA process exited with code 1.
I have verified the jar selection mention on this forum link: help..
Any help on this will be greatly appreciate.

Yes Frank. Ours is an SDO service created as per [Service enabled Application Modules|http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/b31974/bcextservices.htm#CJAJGIEB] . We have created the deployment profile as a 'Business Component Service Interface' profile.
Our attempt to deploy onto standalone from Jdev also fails with the same error. Unsure why the interface is unable to load - Error: Could not load endpointInterface oracle.apps.xyz.common.tasksService.TasksService.
Does this mean, the deployment process is unable to locate this interface? We have cross checked our deployment profiles quite a few times and could not find anything amiss.

Is it have to do with the Deployment profile ? or any Data Control Issue ?

    Thanks Guys,
You won't believe if I say the issue because of a minute error.
for some reason the AMImpl.xml and its class files were getting created in different directory where as the DataControl was referencing the different directory, when I changed the proper directory for classes files to generate things started to work fine.
As long as the creating the deployment profile, I think I did right. So all is fine at my end.. thanks for your links, it was really helpful though.
    Thanks

  • Difference between Domain member and standalone server with AD binding

    Hi all,
Can anyone explain the difference between:
    A) Setting up a MacOSX server as Windows domain member server using Server Manager;
    B) Setting up a MacsOSX server as Windows standalone server and joining the Active Directory using Directory Access;
    My setup:
    ====================
We have a Windows 2003 A.D. running, all users are set up in the A.D.
Also we have two MacOSX servers, which provide file services (both AFP and SMB/CIFS) for Mac and Windows clients, while using the A.D. for user authentication.
One of the MacOSX servers is configured as a domain member server, the other is configured as Windows standalone server. The latter is bound to the A.D. using Directory Access.
Following the Apple manuals one should think that the first setup (domain member) is the best.
As for Open Directory: both servers are running as Standalone.
    How my setup behaves
    ====================
Official Apple guidelines are to set up the Mac server as domain member. Reality is another thing though.
For AFP both servers perform equal: users are authenticated against the A.D. and get access to their shares. File/Folder permissions are as expected.
For Windows clients things aren't the same.
The server setup as Windows Domain member acts strange. Windows clients don't have single signon experience.
Every file/folder's owner shared on this server is <<unknown>> to the client. Also, when a Windows user creates a file/folder the owner is <<unknown>>.
Sometimes the Samba server just stops authentication. A relaunch of the Samba service fixes this.
The server setup as a standalone server performs as expected. Windows clients have single signon experience, there are no issues with file/folder owner. Also authentication never stops.

    Hello
By chance I discovered that every 2 minutes there is a login failure on my standalone (Workgroup) W2K8 R2 Server.
The administrator is disabled (login errors also appear when administrator user is enabled).

  • Application does not load correctly when deploying to standalone server

    All,
I have created simple application implementing fusion theme. Applicaiton works fine when I run on integrated server but when deployed on standalone server it does not load any images or the theme itself. afrloop keep incrementing in status bar and ends up with java script error while later.
I deployed another test application on standalone server and that works fine i.e. theme gets loaded correctly. Also, how should I include images on the page? I have a images folder in web content folder but they dont get loaded.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dipal

LabVIEW now uses the Microsoft installer. It's possible that you need to upgrade the version that's on the Win2K box. I think the latest service packs from Microsoft include it.

  • Trying to change server to be a PDC; reverts back to Standalone Server

I'm trying to get my Leopard server to run as a PDC for windows authentication, but when I change the role from "Standalone Server" to "Primary Domain Controller" and click the save button, after authenticating with the "diradmin" account the changed settings all revert back to "Standalone Server" and nothing gets changed. Any clues as to what I need to do? The server is fully updated to 10.5.3, with all other software updates as well.

    Hi Topher
I'm guessing you're referring to the post? Well the figure has gone up a fair bit since then. My overall total is quite high as I have been installing servers since 10.2.
FWIW my general rule of thumb is:
    1 Format drive, install server
2 On Restart Server Assistant launches (see linked post) don't start any services using Server Assistant
3 Server Assistant does start VNC and enables SSH and the Root Account
Depending on your view SSH and Root are potentially a security problem, deal with these later on.
4 Server Assistant writes settings and preps the server for first use
5 Don't launch WGM or Server Admin. If Server Admin launches, quit it
6 Manually download the latest OS update, don't use Software Update
7 Install this and on successful restart run Software Update again and install the rest of the updates
8 Make sure server is fully up to date before launching Server Admin
9 User server's .local name to log in initially
10 Enable and Configure DNS Service first
I can't stress this enough but if you devote time and energy on this before doing anything else it can prevent a lot of hassle and problems later on. DNS does not have to be running on the Server itself. If you have another server for example you can configure DNS Services on that. You could even use 3rd-Party DNS Software and install on a client machine for example. An old Graphite G4 with DNS Enabler installed is good enough. There are PC equivalents you could use as well. This approach does not require anything in terms of processing power, large drives or even vast amounts of RAM. Reliability and correct configuration is the key.
11 Test and Qualify the DNS Service before moving onto anything else.
Once you are happy enable AFP and SMB. Create a test user in the local node and see if you can access the default share points from a client. Try it with both protocols. Don't be tempted to delete the default share points either. You'll have serious problems if you do.
12 Enable the Open Directory Service
13 Promote to Open Directory Master
If DNS is perfect the Kerberos Realm and search base fields should autofill themselves with information based on the domain name defined in the DNS Service. For example an FQDN of myserver.mydomain.com would result in MYSERVER.MYDOMAIN.COM for the Kerberos Realm and dc=myserver,dc=mydomain,dc=com for the Search Base. I always use the default diradmin name rather than any other. You should not use the local administrator account name
Launch Directory Utility and verify the loopback address (127.0.0.1) is entered as a new configuration. Access Server Admin's File Sharing window and enable the Users folder to automount for home directories. Quit out of Server Admin and launch WorkGroup Manager
Try and get into the habit of only having one or other of the Server Applications open at any one time on the server itself. Its OK to have both open if you are administering the Server remotely if you install them on a client
Authenticate to the /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 node and you should see Directory Administrator UID 1000 already waiting for you. Create a user and select Advanced. You should see the afp url for the default Users folder. Click create home now and Save. Navigate to the Users folder and you should see a home folder created for that user, inspect the contents of this folder and you should see the usual home folder folders. Quit out of WorkGroup Manager
Launch Server Admin select SMB and go for promotion. Supply diradmin as the user name and its password and you should have the server acting as a Primary Domain Controller
Everything can be achieved using the GUI. There should be no need to resort to the command line although if you want to - as you well know - you can
As for your question? No I have not seen any problems with the 10.5.3 update. The 10.5.2 update has given me a problem on a handful of occasions. The problem was traced - eventually - to failing hard drives.
I apologize for the long post but who knows you might find it useful?
    Tony

  • [Forum FAQ] How to sync time with a Domain Controller for a standalone server

As we all known, if a computer belongs to an Active Directory domain, it will sync the time automatically by using the Windows Time service that is available on Domain Controllers.
While a standalone server will synchronize with its local hardware time and Windows time server. (Figure 1)
    Figure 1.
Under some circumstances, a standalone server is necessary in a product environment. We can sync the time of this standalone server with the Domain Controller using
    the steps below:
    1. Modified the value of the AnnounceFlags:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config
Under this entry we can see the default value of AnnounceFlags is 10 (Decimal), we configure the value as 5 (Decimal). (Figure 2)
    Figure 2.
    2. Confirm the value of the registry key below is set to 0:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpServer
    Figure 3.
    3. Configure the standalone server to synchronize with a specific time source (Domain Controller).
In our test, we configured our Domain Controller (192.168.10.200) as the time source. Used the following commands:
    w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:192.168.10.200
    4. Sync the time with the Domain Controller using the command below:
    w32tm /config /update
From the figure below (Figure 4), you can see the after we did all the steps above, the time on the standalone server was synced with the Domain Controller.
    Figure 4.
(Note: Peerlist is a separated list of DNS servers, or IP Addresses for the time servers)

  • Best Practices for directory structure Grid (standalone server) + DB

I want to install Oracle Database and Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a standalone server for ASM and Oracle Restart. I understand that they need to be installed in different folders with different access rights. But how it is better for making?
In documentation "Oracle® Database Quick Installation Guide 11g Release 2 (11.2) for Linux x86-64" anything specific it is not written. Here exposures from the documentation with examples. Such examples only confuse me.
    for oracle
    # mkdir-p/u01/app/
    # chown-R oracle:oinstall/u01/app/
    # chmod-R 775/u01/app/

    $ ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/grid
    $ export ORACLE_HOME
    ORACLE_HOME =/u01/app/11.2.0/grid; export ORACLE_HOME
I made so - db_1 for Grid db_2 for DB:
    /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1 - for Grid
    /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_2 - for DB
But I have doubts that so will be correct. I can not understand what permissions on what folder to give.
    Questions:
    1) What to create structure of folders for installation DB + Grid?
    2) What permissions at users should be in this structure?
