Pricing in product catalogue

Hallo,
We are working with a CRM 4.0 and we have a problem with transaction COMM_PCAT_EXPORT Product Catalog XML-Export.
Pricing data are not present in XML file.
Does anyone has any suggestion?

Publish of product catalogue cancelled by system shutdown

Hi,
We have an issue in SRM 4.0 where the publication of the product catalogue was running when the system was shutdown.
The job has the status of cancelled in SM37 but the status of the catalogue publication is status 'R' (Running).
This stops this catalogue being published again as there is a check to see if it is already running at the start.
Has anyone got a fix for this or had a problem like this before ?

I'm not sure you are talking about SRM or CCM. If it is CCM please try /CCM/CLEANUP_UPDATE_STATUS program with status 03 parameter.

Ideas on best approach - Product Catalogue, Orders to appear in a UWL

I am looking for some guidance/ideas on how best to approach the following:
I have a request to create a product catalogue (only to be accessed internally), that will allow staff to order products.
Once they have selected the products and quantities that they want, they will submit the order, and the the order should appear as an item in the UWL for a user. This user will then fill the order, and ship the goods to the user that ordered them.
I'm not sure which technology I would be best to use here, so any suggestions on this would be gratefully received.

2. What's a good desktop publishing/page layout program for creating PDF files for production? Answer, not PSE. It's a photo editor, not a page layout program.

Sort Sequence for Product Catalogue ISA B2B

I'm trying to find another way of sorting items within a catalogue area. As it is in the standard system , the products are simply sorted according to the Product number (acceding).
The requirement is to be able to rearrange the sequence according to alternate means such as product description. So that when it comes to browsing the product catalogue in the web shop the specific sort sequence is reflected.

In this program can you re-import or is that only used for first time uploads ?
secondly does the sequence of products, within a catalogue area remain as it is in your spread sheet after the upload, or does it revert back to the accending oprder of the product numbers ?

How to limit product catalogue and view authorization for web UI?

Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading our system from CRM 2004 to 2007.
In CRM 2004 the product catalogues available for a user; as well as the views available for user within an available poduct catalogue were controlled by customizing user parameters: COM_PRDCAT and COM_PCAT_VIEW respectively.
Is there anything we could do to get this done in CRM 2007?
Is it possible to restrict the product catalogues a user can access, through PFCG roles? I was not able to find any CRM object for this purpose.

The only possibilities I have found so far is to use the Parameters COM_PCAT_VIEW, COM_PCAT_VVRT and COM_PRDCAT as parameters for the user in SU01.

Extreme long replication time for product catalogue to ISA

In desperate need of help! We are replicating the product catalogue to ISA from a CRM 5.0. Now the replication have been running for 114 000 seconds and it is still not done. Besides the time it takes the process fills the paging file, we had a dump before and changed the parameter rdisp/PG_MAXFS = 65536 But once again after above given time the paging file is filled to 99% and the system will almost certain dump on us once more.
This is only the first of 10 catalogues that will be replicated so u sees the challenge!
Have searched sap notes for many hours without success
Some facts, we are running on HP-UX 4640 (Itanium) with 4 CPUs and 32 GB RAM, plenty of disk. NW2004s with an CRM 5.0 SP10, the TREX is on a Linux machine but does not seams to be the problem.
Anyone have an idea?

Product catalogue creation

Dear Experts,
I am trying to create a standard product catalogue (SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG ) using program BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG. After execution of this report and i am getting error message "Transfer could not be carried out due to errors"
Please help to create a product catalogue.

pl refer the CCM set up config guide
& then help for creation of catalog in CSV 2 (search help.sap.com)
this is the simplest form
after loading the CSV supplier catalog you need to map with the master catalog
create a call structure in SRM to call this master catalog
& input the catalog ID in the requestor's attribute
then you can use the catalog for SC creation

Is there a repot in CRM 7.0 that will allow me to view the products assigned to a specif hierachy or category in the product catalogue?

If you have COPA implemented - Create a "report form" from KE34 and report from KE31 and execute from KE30
If you dont have COPA, then what you are doing is the only solution.. At best, you can create an ABAP report to extract the data you are manually extracting as of now

Ajax load a product catalogue

I need to Ajax load a product catalogue (ie. a list of small product layouts) into another page, while retaining the functionality of the 'Add to Cart' buttons. Does anyone know how to do this? My javascript knowledge is patchy...
I have the product and catalogue IDs, and the existing OnClick call; but when I try to trigger the AddToCart() function it won't bind properly and I don't know how to fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated!

You might want to check out the EasyCatalog plugin and use the pagination module.

I have no affiliation with the company but have used several different plugins to link information from databases and spreadsheets to catalog pages and EasyCatalog works well. They offer a 30 day trial so maybe you could finish your catalog using that.

Pricing at product category level

Hi Experts,
I am not able to determine pricing at product category level.These prod. categories r downloaded by standard functionality from ECC.I am getting an error "mandatory condition prod. cat. price (ZPH1) is missing". I am not able to figure out what needs to me maintained.Could anyone please help me out with this?

Hello aneesh,
This is maintained at the product category level in ECC. This is used for pricing based upon the product category.
So to avoid this error either you need to create this condition type in CRM or need to download that from ECC.

Pricing analysis - Production Premium

OK, so 2 years ago, I bought CS5.5 Web Design Premium. A few months later, the introduction of Production Premium and my dissatisfaction with the product set in Web Premium, plus all the benefits in CS6 saw me eagerly handing $375 to upgrade to Production Premium CS6. I have used that suite for nearly 2 years and am quite happy with it in all areas except Premiere Pro, which I am using a LOT more right now and CS6 is missing some key features from CC that are very significant to me (audio sync and Speedgrade roundtripping).
Now there is CC, which gives me a choice between Master Collection for $600/yr or $240/yr for ONLY Premiere Pro CC.
Now there's also a discount being proffered here of 40% - which I'll assume is going to end up being a 1 time thing. That would drop it to MC for $360 and Prem Pro for $144.
Given that CC has been out for some time now, it should be coming into Adobe's head that ALL CC users are now coming into the period of time where that 40% disappears. For users that haven't upgraded, it becomes quite obvious that any deals of "40% off" are extremely limited.
For most users, Adobe products are a significant expense. Yes, I use it for work, but I use a copy I purchased personally, and because my job is not specifically a graphic artist and my use of Adobe at work is only a part of my job description, I am not reimbursed for this. Further, job security in a difficult economy means that if my work DID pay for my Adobe habit, losing that job would mean that suddenly I am tied to $600/yr out of my own pocket.
Additionally, Adobe users tend to be "long haul" type professionals. We don't look at purchases in terms of a few months. We look at them in terms of ROI and long term usage. I started a business on the side 6 months ago. I created a 5 year overall plan for it. I had a meeting yesterday that set out a roadmap for video projects and marketing materials plans that involve months as being small increments. This means that a 40% discount, while *nice* is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. It puts the upgrade cost at the same as the $375 for Suite users, but forces a move to the Master Collection cost tier, which is unacceptable for the long term. I am looking at Adobe as a significant part of my life for the next 25+ years. 40% for one year is meaningless. 40% locked in would be a totally different story.
So as a "Premium Suite" type user here is the pricing analysis. 40% is irrelevant beyond one year, so is not even worth considering:
CS product - $375/upgrade. $427 with tax. Upgrade cycle: every version = once a year, every other version = once every 2 years. =$375/yr or $187.50/yr (I am typically an 'every other version' type upgrader).
Premiere Pro CC - $240/yr. A single product which would cost more than upgrading every other year.
Complete Creative Cloud - $600/yr. All the products I use and several I don't.
So comparing $600/yr for Creative Cloud vs $200/yr for upgrading my Suite every other year, I am now faced with a rather disappointing solution.
In terms of budget for work, if I was given a budget of $200, in *WHAT UNIVERSE* would that budget then be approved for $600? In the real world, under those circumstances, I would be told to 'figure something out' to make my budget work. In the digital world, those are not words that Adobe wants skilled technical people to be using. Most of these users are well aware of pirated options out there and are making a firm moral decision not to take that road.
There *MUST* be an option for non-Master Collection users. We can't be that small of a group.
Would I pay $375/yr to use Production Premium CC? No. Probably not. Most Adobe users I know are every other year type upgraders too. This is *especially* true of non-Master Collection users, who tend to be willing to spend, but also looking for 'cost effective solutions'.
Knowing that my budget EXPECTS $200/yr, would I pay $275/yr for Production Premium CC? Begrudgingly... probably. And I'd probably still wait another 6 months or so, using CS6 and feeling annoyed.
Would I pay $225/yr for Production Premium CC? That's probably around the point where I would look for that 40% deal for the first year and slap down my plastic TODAY, even though I don't really feel a need to upgrade anything more than Premiere Pro.
So there's your feedback Adobe. Please take note.
If you don't want to listen, I can pretty much guarantee you that I won't be switching to a $600/yr pay scheme at any point in the next 3 years. Probably 5.
What would you rather have? 5 years at $225 = $1100
or 0 years at $600/yr = $0
I recommended to my mother that now that she is retired, she should pay $9.99/mo for Photoshop CC. I think it would be great for her and I think the monthly pay scheme is perfect for that. She can turn it off an on as desired.
I am a *totally* different type of customer. So is pretty much everyone else who needs anything more than a single Adobe product.

If you downloaded the Production Premium .7z file via a java based browser (Firefox etc) prior to that, then you will have to redownload. I apologize for the inconvienence. You can either redownload using the Akamai DLM or you can download using direct HTTP links.
If you want to download via HTTP directly, I recommend you use Firefox, since it handles downloading of files larger than 2Gb (some versions of Internet Explorer won’t do a file bigger than that)
1.       Go to the page in the store where you see your downloads for your purchase.
Then cut and paste this URL and put it into the address bar (where you type in url links) to get the big .7z file

I think BOM is created In Master Recipe and not individually that's why you are facing this problem.So
go to C202 (Change Master Recipe) and change your BOM here manually.For this go to Material screen.If select the required production version (in case of more then one Prod. Version).You will find the BOM tab here.Go to this tab and change your BOM.
Change the Massage Control via below path,
SPRO ---> Production ---> Basic Data ---> Bill of Material ---> General Data ---> Change Message Type ---> Here select Massage no. 29 - 358 (BOM can only be changed via &) and change it to warning or Dialog .
