Pricing is not changed when pricing date is changed at header level.

Dear Gurus,
The query is about pricing. When I change the pricing date at header level it is supposed to chnage the pricing at item level also. But it is not happening. In our scenatio there is a ZPR0 price and there is a condition record for that.
The order was created earlier and now when we change the pricing date price is not being changed. I checked the analysis button. There it shows the following messages for ZPR0(In this case condition already exists). ZPR0 has three condition tables
1. Condition record exists, but has not been set (for the 1st table in acces sequence)
2. Access has not been executed due to previous access(for the 2nd table in acces sequence)
3. Access has not been executed due to previous access(for the 3rd table in acces sequence)
As a result we are not able to change price in the header level by changing the pricing date.

Hi Felipe,
The pricing will change if we click on the update button and select 'C' or 'B' option in the item level. But when we try to chnage by clicking on the update button in the header level it is not getting changed.
I would also like to add that customer wants the price to be changed without pressing the update button at tghe header level.
Please clarify on the pricing validity configuration . What steps are required in the pricing validity configuration.?

Free goods condition is not deleted when pricing date changes

Hi experts,
we want to use the free goods condition type 'NA00' / 'NRAB' with category '3' (inclusive rebate). The condition records are valid a certain period ( 1 month e.g.).
The system inserts the condtion 'NRAB' in the calculation scheme and calculates the rebate. So far, so good.
The problem begins, when you change the pricing date into a date when no condition record is valid.
The system should remove the rebate.
But it does not.
The rebate is still there. Wen you change the standard customizing of condition type ''NRAB' you can delete the condition line.

Hi Bernhard,
You are changing teh pricing date but as per y understanding th condition record consider the "Serv.rendered date".
Better go to Condition tab page --> Click at "Analysis" tab --> on next screen you can find there are so many condition type on your left side --> select your rebate condition type --> once you open the tree of condition type --> sysytem will show the detail on right hand side
See the details that system consider which date "Pricing date" or "Serv.rendered date".

A Callers recompile is NOT undone when the subVI's changes are undone

Hello All
I suspect this is expected behavior and not a bug, but I will ask anyway.
Load a top level VI into memory and then open a subVI (a.vi) from somewhere within its hierarchy, also ensure a.vi's caller (b.vi) FP is open somewhere just so you can see the FP and the VI changed asterisk.
If you now do an edit to a.vi that will cause it, and it's caller, to need to be saved, for example delete or rename a FP control, both VI's will show the VI change asterisk as expected.
Now on the subVI (a.vi) use Ctrl-Z to undo your change and as expected the VI change asterisk disappears and the VI can be closed without a save prompt. However any caller VI's still show the VI changed asterisk and will come up with the save prompt when you try to close them.
If you have a large project with lots of VI and you work by loading your top level, I think this can be a causes on quite a few unexpected changes to VI.
I just wondered if people would expect the "un-do" to be a little cleverer than it is ?

Ben , I always have the auto-save turned off, for me it interferes with the source control system if I do not. I had not noticed that you cannot undo past a save, that is in my view a shortfall, MS Office and many other applications allow you to do this and unlike my original question, which I can sort of see as being hard, surly this would be an easy thing to do.
Yes I agree with you tst, anything that changes the inplaceness (is that really a word) of data, but I am interested if you think this a) expected b) good.
Altenback, I do understand your comment that it would be difficult for the top level VI to know what is going on down below and in truth I do not think this behavior surprise me, but to me it is a pain. Using a source control system I really want to know, for review purposes if for no other reason, which actual VI's have been edited by
a programmer for a bug fix or feature change and I have always been unhappy about the "unedited" VI that appear on this list, so anything that I can find to stop unexpected VI changes to me is a good thing.
It would be nice if one of the save options when you close a VI was to automatically "do not save, or prompt for save" VI who's only changes are a subVI has changed. Then I could load top level change all the actual VI I need to edit, close all and only save those VI that have been edited each with a relevant comment into the source control system, then open the top level again and on closing this time save the changed VI all with the say "VI save due to subVI recompile" comment"

Dynamic Actions not firing when using date picker?

The dynamic actions don't seem to be triggering when selecting a date from the date picker, but trigger just fine when the dates are manually entered. Anyone else have this problem and if so is there a workaround to get it to work from the date picker as well? I am using Application Express 4.0.1.00.03
And how can I report this problem?

I'm already using Change.
If it matters, I have it set to:
Event: Select
Selection Type: Item
Condition: No Condition
My action type is just an alert right now since all I want to do is to see if I can trigger it (as in you have to walk before you can run).
Event Scope: Live
Conditon type: Dynamic Action not Conditional
Authorization Scheme: No Authorization Required

Batch quantity not deducting when FIRST date (for line item) is in future.

            My requirement is when creating sales order for batch managed materials, if i give any quantity with future date that is,
if todays date is 02.07.2010 and if i create sales order..
material    => mat1
Quantity   => 20
Date   => 12.07.2010     (this is not required delivery date,this is first delivery date in schedule line for that item)
Batch => B1
and initially if Batch B1 has quantity 100 ,after saving this sales order, the quantity must be 80.
but its not deducting, for future dates ,thats why the same batch is showing quantity 100, next time
when i m creating new sales order.where as it should show 80.
where exactly the quantity deduction is carried out (include or PAI PBO modules).
any hints.

we have troubles in our Outlook 2013 environment.
We changed from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2013.
We have Exchange 2007 in background.
We have Outlook 2013 in Cached Mode.
Problem description:
A secretary changes a meeting in a shared calendar of one of her bosses/colleagues. The colleague (organizer of meeting) gets responses of the attendees (aceptet, tentiative, denied) in his Mailbox. When he looks into the meeting to check how many persons
have acceptet the meeting, he founds out that the tracking is not update.
I found out in my first solution steps, that this occurs, when the meeting is changed in a shared calendar. When I change th meeting in my own calendar, it works. But we need a solution for the problem, because our secretaries are managing the meetings for
some colleagues.

For your situation, please try the following steps:
1. Please install the lasted update for Outlook 2013, and then check the issue.
2. Check if the AutomateProcessing calendar setting for your Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 is set to
None.
If so, please make sure the Exchange Server administrator start the Exchange Management Shell on the Exchange mailbox server.
Then, run the following command in the Exchange Management Shell:
Set-MailboxCalendarSettings username -AutomateProcessing Autoupdate
Where username is the affected user's alias.
3. Switch to Online Exchange mode to test the issue.

JScrollPane not updating when Jlist values are changed

Hello,
I have a utility where I have a JList with file names inside a JScrollpane. When a user changes directories, the file list changes to the fully qualified names of the files contained in the new directory. The idea is to have the file names show up in the viewport by scrolling the horizontal scroll bar all the way to the right.
Here's a short break down of what my code. Sorry I can't provide a runnable snippet, I'm a lot crunched for time.

hBar.setValue(hBar.getMaximum());
The problem is that hbar.getMaximum() always seems to be a step behind. I always get the Maximum width from the last list of files. As I traverse down a directory tree this results in the knob always being not quit all the way to the right.
I've tried running fileList.revalidate() after the setListData.
I've tried calling FileScrollPane.setViewportView(fileList) after the setListData.
I've tried setting the setViewPositon using getWidth from fileList.
I've tried setting fileList.setPreferredSize(null) after the setListData, then setting the Viewport, then calling revalidate.
Somehow the JScrollPane just isn't picking up that the jList has changed and updating it's scrollbars model accordingly until after I've run setValue.
So my question summed up is:
Is there someway to force JScrollPane to realize that the JList has changed and update it's components accordingly?

I tried the revalidate and repaint and it didn't seem to work. I can't use threads for political reasons. so I wrote up the following code which demonstrates the problem. Notice that you have to click a button twice to get the correct values displayed in standard out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Change the validity date in change number

hi team,
I want to change the validity date of a change number from 01.01.09 to 01.03.09. I am getting an error "A BOM has already been changed using a change number with the same valid-from date as the selected date 03.01.2009". I can change the date to before 01.01.09 but cannot after 01.01.09.
Can you please help me.

Is it a change number with release key or without release key?
Do you want to assign a different validity date for the changes made using that change number?
Try using alternative date field in CC02.and you have to select the object to assign the alternative date.
Say if you want to assign an alternative date for a processed BOM,you have to select that object and
enter the alternative date.

Why does planning indicators change when the safety stock change?

Hai All,
I created a BOM for a finished material (FM1)and entered another finished material(FM2) in item list.
Now in MRP, I did single item multi level planning for the FM1. I checked the planning file entry through MD21 and it has NECH and NECPL marked. I checked for FM2. None of the indicators are set. Then I have been to material master for FM2 and in MRP2 screen and changed the safety stock to 950. Then I checked the plannig file again and I see the indicators NECH and NETPL are checked. I then made the safety stock 0 and checked the planning file. There is no change.
My question is why were the indicators NETCH and NETPL checked when I increased my safety stock for material FM2 from 0 to 950?
I understand that NETCH is the planning for Net changes and NETPL is for planning for changes in a horizon.
Are these indicators set because I made a change to the material? or is there any other reason?

The planning indicators change when there is an amendment to the planning situation that requires MRP to replan a material. Essentially, by upping your safety stock from 0 to 950 you are requesting that the MRP system replans that material to ensure that there is sufficient safety stock available.

While entering the invoice you can change the liability account on invoice header, if the filed is not displayed check in folder options (folder->show Field->Liability Account)

HBR sequence on data form does not execute when Planning data form is saved

Has anyone experienced this issue before in Planning? Below I have included the scenario and what has been attempted to correct the situation.
We are using Hyperion Planning/Essbase 9.3.1, sequence contains 3 business rules - 2 executed on the Workforce Cube and 1 transfers totals from Workforce Cube to Main cube. 2 of the BR's contain run-time prompts - 1st BR in the sequence (calculation in Workforce) and 3rd BR in the sequence (transfer of Workforce totals to Main). We are using Projects to assign access priviledges to the BR's and sequences. All 3 business rules, as well as the sequence itself, validate successfully in the admin services console.
In Planning the data form contains BR Properties to "Save on Exit", "Use members on data form" and "Hide prompt". Have tried removing BR from data form, then put BR back on data form. Also tried building a new sequence in EAS console and attaching that BR to the existing data form. Neither of these attempts were successful. Tried building an entirely new data form with the newly created sequence, still unsuccessful. Was able to execute the sequence successfully when processed from the Tools -> Business Rules menu. Sequence was once again successful when I tried modifying the data form to remove property "Hide prompt". Problem with leaving the form in that state is, our users would not know which Planning server they were on as they access the Planning application through Workspace and we currently have 2 application servers in this environment - so essentially they have a 50/50 chance of selecting the correct server.
We have this same setup in another environment where the execution of the sequence on the data form works successfully. We have compared everything that I can think of and it all appears the same in both environments - in fact this used to be successful in this environment, but all of a sudden stopped working earlier this year - we have not applied any patches or upgrades to either environment. Do not know if this is relevant or not, but we do currently utilize Netscaler in both of these environments.
Any experiences with this type of situation or suggestions at this point would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a solution for you but more steps to solve the problem
You are ultimately on the right track in some ways but break it down into it's components.
The problem could like in the business rule, the form connection, the variables, even the order of operations could all be in play.
So I would strip this baby down to its bare bones then build it back up.
1) Run the business rule. Each one separately and only after the previous ones is complete without variables and without touching the form
Is it successful: go to 2
If it isn't successful: trouble shoot the calc and or try running in EAS natively to see if that gives you ideas
2) Run the calc outside the form but with variables included. Did it prompt you correctly.
Is it successful: go to 3
If it isn't. What is wrong with the variable
3) Now attach it to the form but don't hide the prompts
Still good go to 4
4) hide the prompts and run on save
And if it fails on step four then it's not picking up the right variables in the prompt. And you need to look at why it wouldn't grab the right item.
This will isolate your problem for you and give you steps to fix it. Ultimately 99% of the time something did change in the structure for example that is impacting the calc. And when you isolate the problem this will reveal itself quite quickly.

Pricing is not changed when pricing date is changed at header level.
