Pricing Procuedure in SRM

Hi Experts,
I have doubts related to Pricing -
1) In the case of R/3 we can define our own access sequence where as i do not see that option in SRM. So, does this mean we cannot define our own.
2) Also, how does this access sequence, unlike in R/3 i dont think schema group vendor is there in SRM.
Any help is welcome.
Thank You
Abhi

  • Transfer of Pricing Conditions from SRM 5.0 to ECC (Extended Classic)

    Hi All,
I am currently doing an enhancement on a copy of function module B46B_DPO_TRANSFER and the implementation of BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE BAdI that will call the copied FM to transfer the pricing conditions from SRM 5.0 to ECC since in standard only net price is being transferred to ECC.
During the creation of PO, everything is ok. All conditions are transferred to ECC.
But we are encountering problems in the replication from SRM to ECC when changes are done in the PO during deleting or inserting a condition to an item. Our problem is in figuring out what will trigger us to use Change types U, I, E, D in populating the CHANGE_ID field in POCOND table that will be used in BBP_PO_INBOUND function module.
During creation of PO, I have set POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'I' on all conditions to be transferred.
When there are modifications on a PO, I have set POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'U' and I am encountering problem when new conditions are inserted to an item since it will not be displayed (which I believe in this case, POCOND-CHANGE_ID should be 'I'), and when deleting a condition to an item.
I would like to ask, if there is an indicator that a condition will be inserted to an item for us to assign POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'I', and for us to assign POCOND-CHANGE_ID = 'D' when a condition will be deleted.
By the way, I used FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL (exporting: E_PRIDOC) to get the PO conditions to be transferred and have checked E_PRIDOC-DEL_IND to check if a condition will be deleted. Unfortunately, it is not working on the deletion since it seems that DEL_IND field is not being populated if a condition will be deleted.
    Many thanks,
    Kezia

  • Settings for pricing procedure in SRM

    Hi,
We're implementing the ECS version and would like to know the settings that have to be done to setup the pricing. I understand we have the settings under configuration to  setup the condition types and pricing procedures in a similar way as it is in the R/3 backend system. But, we're unable to understand the settings that need to be done to link it to certain criteria for a particular Purchase order. For eg. in R/3 , we have the vendor schema in the vendor master data which is the link in combination with Purchasing Org to decide the Pricing procedure. But I don't find this data or such linkage in SRM.
Can anyone provide an explanation or documentation for this.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Lakshmi

    Hi,
if anyone has a solution, I'm also interested how to customize pricing in SAP SRM 5.0.

  • Determination of Pricing Procedure in SRM

    Hi all,
I have worked on IPC CRM 4.0 and I know the settings related to Pricing.  Now, in <b>SAP SRM 4.0</b>, I am not able to figure out on what key fields Pricing Procedure is determined and where are the corresponding settings in SPRO.
    Please Help!!
    Thanks in Advance,,,
    Regards,
    Pratik

    Hello Vangala,
I have gone through the above settings again, but there is no settings given for  Determination of Pricing Procedure. Can you please be more specific.
    Few more doubts:
    1. What are the key fields on which Pricing Procedure is determined?
    2. I am able to see only one Pricing procedure in SPRO->Supplier Relationship Management->SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Pricing->Edit Calculation Schema; Is there any way through which I can view multiple Pricing Procedures.
    Waiting for ur response.

  • SRM PO Pricing condition from SRM to ECC -Extended Classic Sceanrio

    Dear SRM experts,
We have created couple of conditions in SRM7.0 and ECC 6.0 as per requirement. When we create PO in SRM and If we add any condition in SRM PO, PO is getting transferred with netprice(including condition amount).
We would like to see conditions also in ECC which are there in SRM.
    For ex:
I have created SRM PO with net price 30 and having freight amount(15) in that PO with Fregiht condition type but when it comes to ECC PO net price is changing from 30 to 45.
We would like to see net price as 30 and 15 as Fregiht condition.
Overall I can say that Is it possible to pass conditions from SRM to ECC in Extended classic scenario.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi,
the challenge lies in synchnizing the conditions and ensuring that price returned by IPC in SRM matches the price in the backend.

  • Custom Pricing Conditions not working for a PO in SRM

    Hi Experts,
We are on SRM 5.0, ECC 6.0 , Extended Classic Scenario.
We configured the pricing conditions in SRM . We defined the our custom pricing condition types as below
Condition type      ---  Condition Class       ---  Calculation Type
    Frieght(%)            ---       Prices                ---      Percentage
Frieght Value       ---        Prices                ---  Fixed Amount
We also defined the Calculation Schema.
But when we try to define the pricing conditions in SRM during PO creation\change , the standard pricing condition types work but when we input the above defined custom pricing condition type, the value entered gets cleared. Pricing Overview is not calculating the values of the custom Pricing condition types.
Please assist as where i have gone wrong. Do I need to run any standard report for pricing or do i have to implement any BADI.
    Thanks,
    Addy.

  • R/3 and SRM Pricing

The condition type from R/3 are not transferred to SRM.
In a Extended Classic scenario, how do we Create PO in SRM and handover to Vendor if we are unable to configure the complex R/3 conditions / Pricing Procedure in SRM ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards

    Have you set up IPC?
    (follow text from help.sap)
Pricing is a function that the system uses to determine important pricing information when creating a business transaction, for example a quotation, a sales order, or a contract. For example, the system automatically determines the gross price and the discounts and surcharges that are relevant for a specific customer or for a particular date in accordance with the valid conditions.
The system uses the condition technique for pricing in order to determine relevant pricing information from condition records for a business transaction. You can find more information on general condition technique under condition technique
The system carries out pricing in CRM via the IPC (Internet Pricing and Configurator). The IPC ensures consistent pricing regardless whether prices are calculated for a business transaction in CRM Enterprise, in Telesales, or in E-Commerce.
    Prerequisites
You have to have made the Customizing settings for pricing. You can find these settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Basic Functions ® Pricing.

  • Pricing procedures SRM

In ECC, one can have different pricing procedures in purchase order like local schema, imports schema etc. which can be selected by schema group vendor. How is this handled in SRM?

    Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
<u>In SRM 5.0 , in case of extended classic scenario(ECS) , the final price is transferred as net price in SAP backend system. In the case ECS in SRM , IPC should be there and is mandatory. For ECS,IPC is mandatory. But with SRM 5.0,you dont need seperate installation of IPC,you have the Internal IPC for which you just need to see whether the VMC is activated. The VMC is exclusively used as a runtime environment for selected SAP Java components for example, Internet Pricing Configurator.</u>

  • Creating new pricing condition type in srm ecs

    Hi Guru's
I see that there is an option to select the Source system " local" , "other system, eg: R/3" while creating a new condition type in SRM. can you please let me know what is the importance of this? can we determine price in srm using backend pricing conditions? can we invoke the backend pricing procedure from srm and populate the price in SRM PO?
any helpful info would be appreciated
    regards

    Hi Nitin,
Appreciate your response. Can you please let me know how major development is it? if you can provide highlights that would be helpful. I do understand that we can customize the pricing procedure in SRM. Can you please share if you have any documentation regarding creating new condition types, access sequences, condition records in SRM similar to ECC? it would be appreciated if you can send it to pradeepwsu(gmail) id.

  • SRM 7.0 pricing conditions mapping to the backend system

    Experts,
I am new to SRM & working in SRM 7.0.  I have a serious problem in distributing the pricing conditions.
I need to distribute/map the pricing conditions in SRM 7.0 to the backend ECC system.  I need step by step procedure for the same.  Plz help me.

    Hi,
with the help of SDN, i have done the mapping part of pricing conditions as below.
      field-symbols:
        <ls_be_item>      type BBPS_CTR_ITEM,
        <ls_be_cond>      type BBPBAPICONDCT,
        <ls_be_cond_bapi> type BBPBAPICONDIT.
      loop at ct_be_items assigning <ls_be_item>.
        if <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = '0100'.
          <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = 'PB00'.
        elseif <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = '01CT'.
          <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = 'PBXX'.
        elseif <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = '01RA'.
          <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = 'RB00'.
        elseif <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = '01RP'.
          <ls_be_cond>-COND_TYPE = '01RP'.
        ENDIF.
        if <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = '0100'.
          <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = 'PB00'.
        elseif <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = '01CT'.
          <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = 'PBXX'.
        elseif <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = '01RA'.
          <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = 'RB00'.
        elseif <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = '01RP'.
          <ls_be_cond_bapi>-COND_TYPE = '01RP'.
        ENDIF.
      endloop.
But the problem is, when i put the external break point in the above code, its not getting triggered.  Can any plz tell me how to debug the code.

  • Extended classic pricing component

    hai,
i am new to extended classic.i am worrying about pricing procedure in srm.does it needs internet pricing configurator?how can it maps with backend pricing conditions?please  help me to find out the solution.
    thanks and regards
    swapna

    Hi Masa,
We can maintain Price and conditions as a record in CCM for Particular Material or Vendor. When you add that record to shopping cart it will update. I mean, If the provision is available in MDM, I don't want to use the Two components for same functionality.
If I use IPC, Is there separate license for that. What else need to be updated to use IPC (Patches etc).
If you have IPC configuration material, could you please share with me? How to bridge the SRM Conditions and ECC Conditions?
Please clearly give me details.  I really appreciate you.
    Regards,
    John.

  • Limited display of PO pricing conditions

    Hi All,
We have added pricing conditions in SRM. The pricing conditions are working, but we are having problem using many pricing conditions in creating purchase orders.
If we are going to add more conditions in the web, other conditions are not displayed because the Next/Previous button to view the next page that contains the other pricing conditions is missing.
But when we try to create POs using BBP_POC transaction and then add pricing conditions, all added conditions are visible and usable.
Any inputs on how can we have this button activated?
    Regards,
    Kezia

    Hi Serguei,
Seems that this answers my question. We will apply the note.
    Many thanks!
