Pricing scale type ??

Dear All,
pricing scaling question ??
When scale type which controls the scale value  is set to "A" (Base-Scale).
we need to set the scales From a certain quantity or value,
My question is, what happens if the customer order less that value.
Eg :
my scales are set as
FROM    10       100 USD.
what happens, if customer order 2 qty. What price will he/she will get.
Thank you .
Thank you.
Anitha.

Hi,
The price will be taken from the base price if the order quantity is less than the scaled quantity.
Initially, the system will check for the Scales. As our quantity is less than the scales,so it will check for the base price.
Suppose your quantity is 2 and in the condition record, you have set 30 USD per 1 EA(your Unit of Measure).
Then the system will caluculate 2*30=60USD for this condition type if the date you are creating the order is with in the validity date.
Else if no record is maintained, then this condition type value has to be entered manually,if this condition type is set as mandatory.
If it is not mandatory, then you can ignore this one.
Regards,
Krishna.

  • Problem with pricing condition type in case of proforma invoicing

    Hello All,
the problem is related to a pricing condition type in case of proforma invoice where the details are as follows -
Name of Condition Type - ZADC - Add 10% on Cost                                         Access seq.   Z038 Diff
                                                                                    Plus/minus    A Positive
Cond. class -  A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type -  A Percentage
    Cond.category - Blank
Manual entries      D Not possible to process manually
    Amount / Percent - Checked
    Item Condition - checked
    Scale Basis - Quantity
    Currency Conversion - Checked
    Quantity Conversion - Checked
This condition type has been kept as statistical in the pricing procedure. Still in the proforma invoice the condition type is not getting reflected automatically , whenever I am updating with " carry out new pricing " option the condition type is getting populated. In case of other commercial invoices this very condition type is getting populated automatically without any updates.Along with this point to be noted is that the Condition type in which the actual costi is captured has been kept active.
What more needs to be configured or what are the changes to be done to populate the condition type automatically as statistical during the time of proforma invoicing?
    Thanks & Regards

  • Pricing Condition type triggering based on other condition type

    Hello sir,
There are some pricing condition types in our system.
Based on condition records you can trigger one condition type based on other    condition type.
For eg: PR00 condition type is there and amount is  suppose 1000rs and other condition type is JBED and we made a condition record and put it some percentage so as soon as we some value in PR00 ,JBED condition type is automatically manipulating the value on the base condition record.
Now i want other than condition record can we trigger one condition type based on other condition type through defining user routine under requirement.
Suppose we have condition type ABC and some amount i have given and other condition type DEF , i want that amount of DEF condition type should automatically come from the Condition type and it should manipulate according to my routine .
    eg  Condition type    Amount
           ABC                  1000
           DEF                    40
The value 40 should come as 4% of 1000.
I am not maintaing any condition record and i want that this should trigger through some requirement created by me.
i created my routine no 905 and i putted the code inside it.
      if komtl-kschl = 'DEF'.
      komv-kbetr  =   ( komv-kbetr * 4) / 100.
    endif.
Now problem is that this code is getting trigger when i m giving value in DEF condition type then it is showing 4 % of it.
But i want as soon as i give value for the condition type ABC and some value 1000
then after pressing enter , one condition type DEF should automatically come with value 40 that too in display mode ,not in change mode.
Please suggestions and solutions regarding this matter , I will be grateful to you.

    hi
In V/06 in the calculation type you can see the entries for "D-gross weight" & "E-net weight"
For the required condition type select the calculation type as gross weight or net weight. Save it.
In MM01 - create material master, here in BASIC DATA 1 SCREEN you have fields for gross weight & net weight.
Maintain the condition record in VK11 for the required condition type.
You can also maintain the scales as required like u said
    1 to 10 kgs -  100 rupees,
    11 to 25 kgs - 1000 rupees.
    Another way could be
The BEST practice to do it is, use of VOFM routine for price calculation (VOFM-->Formulae).
Take help from ABAPer and write a routine such that
    if weight = 1 - 10
    price = 100.
    else if weight > 8.
    price = 1000.
    else
    price = 100.
    end if
but the maintainnance of routine is big problem as u might be having many records
    Hope this will help you

  • Pricing Condition Type for Break down discount (zbdo)

    Hello Members ,
Business :  Suppose you create order on 16/07/2010 then the ZBDO = 5%, but after the 18/07/2008 then ZBDO = 10 %, it activate automatically in the pricing procedure.
    I am doing :
Change in the Condition type in *Scale basis = Time period scale - Days ; Check value = None ; Scale type = Base-scale,
and Condition Record : we Choose access sequence = Price Group / material Pricing Group, then goto scale and maintain the data , but the value is not getting at the time of order creation...
    Please give the solution

    hi rajesh,
where the price is changed? is it in billing doc or in sales order?
price is determined by pricing date. pricing date is available in sales order and billing.
just maintain ur cond record for ZBDO:
    Material A     5%      16/7/2010 - 17/7/2010
    Material A     10%    18/7/2010 - 31/12/2010
when you create sales order in 16/7/2010, cond type ZBDO will be 5% (as pricing date 16/7/2010). but when you do billing in 18/7/2010, see pricing date in billing, if pricing date in billing 18/7/2010, cond type ZBDO will be 10%.
    Hopefully it helps you,

    Hi,
can u do a small search in this forum, todad morning also there was one posting regarding the same.
    <b>Scales</b>
A scale in a condition record where prices, discounts, or surcharges are defined for different customer order quantities or values.
This scale is used by the system to determine the price, discount, or surcharge for a given quantity or value.
This is defined in the each condition type
spro--> img>sd->basic functions> pricing>pricing control->define cond type--->select  any one condtion type eg: PR00--> come down u will find scales views.
    <b>scales basis:</b>
depending upon the scales basis the prices are determined according.
    example:
A company want to give discount based quantity scale ie, if customer buy 10 pcs the prices would be 100/ unit & if he purchase more than 20 the prices would be 80/unit.
So in scale basis u have to select quantity scale. & the prices aganist teh qunatity will be defined in condition record maintanenace <b>(tcode:VK11)</b>. The other sclaes basis available are
    B      Value scale
    C      Quantity scale
    D      Gross weight scale
    E      Net weight scale
    F      Volume scale
G     Scale based on a formula
    L      Point scale

  • "Graduate- interval scale" i.e. Scale type D, Can it cover the many SO qty?

    Hi All,
*Business wants, the Sales Order qty entered in many sales orders to be considered and given the Graduate -Interval Scale for the line items, but as per my testing this applies only for single line item in that SO!
If any one knows this can be met somehow, please share your ideas?
u201CGraduate- interval scaleu201D i.e. Scale type D, this needs to be maintained in condition type customization only!
    e.g.: (For Customer/Material Disc. with condition type: K005) the Scale is set as below;
    to 100 Qty 5Rs/ea Disc.
    to 200 Qty 10Rs/ea Disc.
    to 500 qty 12Rs/ea Disc.
    If Iu2019ve two SO,
    1. 23456 with Disc. line item qty as 50
    2. 23457 with Disc. line item qty as 150,
The Scale should apply accordingly, i.e In First SO, for 50 Qty the Disc should be 50*5= 500 Rs,
And for Second SO, out of 150, first 50 qty should be applied with 5Rs Disc. and remaining 100 with 10Rs Disc.
Hope you understand the requirement here, let me know so that i can explain you more in case required.
The above request holds good if the single SO with one line item in it. but not if 2 SO thereu2026
your feedback much appreciated, Thank youu2026
    Best Regards,
    Sid.

    Hi,
The Graduated Scale type configuration will not solve this requirement.
It can be handled with a 'Alt Cal type' pricing routine.

  • Use of  Scale Type D

    Hello Gurus,
I wanted to use scale type D for one of my scenario
    The details are given below
I want to divide the share of revenue betwen my client and his JV partner.
I created a condition type ZBAS - for basic rate * quantity. This condition type is statistical
this total amount will be distributed between client and his JV partner
For claint share I have condition type ZCI1 -60%
For JV Partner Share I have condition type ZCI2 - 40%
My Scenarios is when my rate is 10,000
    then ZCI1 - 60%
            ZCI2 -40%
    When Rate is 15,000
    ThenZCI
    upto 10,000  - 60%
    from 10,000 -15000 - 55%
    ZCI2
    upto 10,000  - 40%
    from 10,000 -15000 - 45%
I tried to use the scale type but I am not getting correct values. System is not determining the 60% for value upto 10,000

  • Scale type D for group conditions

    Hi all,
I am creating a new group condition and am trying to make it scale type D - graduated-to-interval scale. However because this is a group condition, SAP is giving me an error (Scale type 'D' cannot be used for group condition 'X').
What is the best solution to this?
I would like to give discounts based on:
    Sales quantity:
    1-100 = 15% off
    101-200 = 25%
    201-300 = 35%
    301-400 = 45%

    Hello
This is b'coz your condition type with active Group condition Indicator. That means, here the system calculates the basis for the scale value from more than one item in the document.
So, the scale D maintain in Scale basis for those condition type, does not go with it and throws an Error.
Thus, if you want to scale functionality for condition type with group condition indicators use GrpCond.routine to maintain routine.
Routine number for creating group key identifies a routine that calculates the basis for the scale value when a group condition occurs in pricing.
    For instance.
Check routine 3-Mat.Pricing Group. This is an example of a structure of group key formula.  A structure of group key formula can be used to influence the basis the system uses when reading the scale of a group condition.  The formula is assigned to a group condition type in customizing.
Formula '3' adds up the quantities / values of all of the line items in the sales document that have the same material pricing group (field KONDM) as the current sales document line item.
A company defines a particular discount (condition type Z001) with scales based on weight.  When a sales order line item is priced that is eligible for the Z001 discount, the user would like the system to read the scale with not just the weight of the current line item, but the combined weight of all items in the sales document that have the same material pricing group as the current line item.  To accomplish this, the user defines condition type Z001 as a group condition and assigns structure of group key formula '3' to it in customizing.
    I hope this assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Shipment cost -  pricing scales

    helo to all ,
i have a requirement to add a scale to an existing conation record .
    1. is it possible and what are the effects by changing the condition type from wight/volume to
        scale ( multi-dimm ) ?
    2. the condition record calculates the qty in the delivery * Z009 ( condition - that was insert in TK12)
i need to add scale to this condition in order to maintain a minimum value :
    example :
    delivery qty = 6 KG
    Z009 = 4 $
    MIN amount in scale = 30 $
    qty*Z009 = 24   < 30   ---> then the condition value is 30 $ .
HOW can i define this scale ? ( its not volume or wight )
can i do it in another way that not involves scales ??

  • Pricing Scales

    Hello Experts,
My client require the scales to be maintained based on % on value maintained.
    For eX -
    Basic Price is 100 USD
Pricing Scale  - Lower limit should be 15 % tat means  15 USD be the lower limit but it should be maintained in %
    Upper limit should be 30%
    Kindly suggest
    Thanks
    Shri.

    Hello,
The Basic Price of 100 USD is maintained in VK11 Condition Records correct? Then at the same time, client can maintain lower & upper scales in USD i.e. 115 & say 85.
Also whenever the Basic Price is changed in VK12, t he emd user can change the scales also.
Is there real Business justification to maintain scales on % basis?
I doubt whether this is possible in standard. However you can try following:
    Option 1.
In V/06, under Scales there is a box for Scale Basis, enter G - Scale based on a formula here & in the box for Scale formula you will have to develop a routine in VOFM & get it assigned here.
    2. Option 2.
Define another condition type whose Calculation Type would be Percentage & it would be copy of Basic Price. The condition record for this Condition would be 100% & here you can maintain the scales in Percentage. Maintain this condition as Mandatory in Pricing Procedure system will do the needful.
Put this new Condition Type under Basic & all your Pricing Calculation will start from this new Condition Type.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Pricing Scales : How to retrieve it ??

    Hi experts.
I was wondering if anybody knew how to retrive the pricing scales for a condition either in some database table or maybe with the help of a function module.
Thanks in advance if somebody has any clue.
Otherwise, i'll have to debug the standard but the pricing in CRM is a real mess
    Regards,
    Helder

    Hi Helder,
If you are looking at capturing scale values at database level, you can proceed as follows:
Trace out the condition tables associated with the condition type's access sequence which you are looking at. Assume if this is SAP002 and CUS502 (Starting with SAP are standard tables ranging from 001 to 500. Starting with CUS are customer specific tables starting from 501 to 999). This can be traced out in the following path. CRM --> Basic Fucntions --> Pricing --> Define Settings for Pricing --> Create Access Sequences (and Create Condition Types)
Now go to se16 and query CNCCRMPRSAP002 and CNCCRMPRCUS502 with required criteria to get value of VARNUMH (condition record ID)
Now further query table CNLCRMPRSCALEV01 with VARNUMH captured in above step and get the value of KBETR (Rate)

  • Pricing Scale u2013 Formula

    Dear All,
If a sales order value is 1,00,000 and based on this value I have to give a slab discount for 1st 50,000 I have to pass 5% discount and for next 30,000 value I have to pass 7% discount and for remaining 20,000 I have to pass 10% discount.
How do I achieve this using pricing scale formula ?
    Thanks,
    David

    Hi,
If you have an SD consultant, you can do this without development.
In V/06, for the discount c.type, Group condition routine value should be 1. Header condition and item condition checkboxes need to be ticked on.Maintain scale basis as B.
While maintaining condition records in VK11, you can go to scales view and maintain your intervals and the discount% in the screen by selecting the scale type as D
If you want step by step, you may have to contact an SD guy. This is a pure SD topic

  • How to change exchange rate type for specific pricing condition type

    Hello every one,
I have a requirement for billing ie VF01.
currently  all the exchange rate are being calculated with exchange rate type 'M' by default.
but now client want it should calculate exchange rate with type 'E' for two pricing condition type for all others it should calculate with type 'M'
Please any body can help me with the exit and code which i can use.
    I have checked exits SDVFX008.
but how to change exchange rate with type 'E' only for two conditions.
as changing exchange rate at document header will change exchange rate for all condition type.

You need to assign KOMK-KURST = 'E', for those two condition types. If it had been item number specific, you could have used USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK(RV60AFZZ).
Do one thing, put a breakpoint on FM 'PRICING' and then do selective runtime analysis.
Check whether any user exit/BADI/ explicit enhancement are available when condition types are processed in a loop. If nothing is available, try implicit enhancement.
Link to refer for selective runtime analysis - Runtime Analysis for VOFM
Also try with VOFM requirements ( not sure whether changing KOMK-KURST is permissable in requirement as normally  we only set sy-subrc values to suppress/allow condition types ). Don't forget to assign requirements against condition types in pricing procedure.
