Pricing Type u2018Yu2019 in copy control..

Hi All ,
Here Z3P(Item Category) is used for 3rd party orders..
The Copy Control from LF(Delivery type)/Z3P(Item Category) to F2(Billing type) has Pricing Type u2018Yu2019.
Thus please let me know how the Pricing Type u2018Yu2019 performs/affects on this Copy Control.
Short Description of the Pricing Type says only u2018Customer reserve Yu2019 so I cannot understand it at all.
Can anyone help me...
Best regards
Shrinath.

Hi sangshetty,
Check OSS notes 24832, it will help you to understand.

  • Pricing type in billing copying control

    Hi All,
For copying control from delivery to billing document, the pricing typee is set as "Z' which means customer reserve.
Usually it is standard SAP option like A, B, G etc.
But in this case it is Z. Where can i find out what is the coding for "Z"? Where is the coding for "Z" done?
    Thanks
    Sonalika

  • To write new pricing type at the copy control

None of the pricing types meet my need at the copy control (from the delivery to the billing document at item level). At which transaction code can I write a new pricing type? I couldn't find it at VOFM (maybe because I couldn't see).
Thanks in advance for the answers...

In VOFM, from top menu bar, if you click "Copying requirements", you can see various selection options like Sale Order, Delivery, Billing etc.  You need to select Billing and create a new routine there.

  • Change the Pricing Type during billing

We are facing an issue with the rebate conditions which needs to be resolved asap..
User has created a credit memo request in VA01.
Credit memo request is created for the change in the Price.
(Note: Order reason for such specific credit memo requests is ZXX (e.g.))
Due to price change rebate accruals value is also reduced in proportion to the reduced price.
The rebate accruals should not be reduced in this case, since there is no material return and rebate condition is quantity based.
As a solution to this u2013
We created a new routine AAA and assigned to the rebate condition types in Pricing procedure.
This routine will function when order reason entered in the Credit memo request is ZXX.
Therefore all the rebate condition types (assigned with routine AAA in Pricing) will get deactivated in Order Conditions tab.
This is working correctly in creating credit memo (VA01).
    The issue is u2013
When the credit memo is created in VF01, these rebate condition types are again activated and accruals are posted.
This should not happen. Pricing from the CM request (VA01) should get copied in Credit memo (VF01) completely. The same issue
    with VF02..
Please  suggest a user exit in which the pricing type can be changed during billing..Tried coding in the form
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP in RV60AFZZ by changing the Pricing Type KNPRS..But didnt work out..
Is there any way to meet this requirement. I have checked the user exit RV61AFZA having two forms:
    FORM USEREXIT_PRICING_RULE &
    FORM USEREXIT_PRICING_COPY.
I would be interested to know how this can be  coded to meet the requirement. Coding displayed will be of great help to
    implement.
Any pointers / solutions to the issue will be highly appreciated..

    Hello Sean
    1) Firstly I don't think the Credit Memo for this case or any case in your situation should be relevant to rebate.  That's becasue your rebate is tied to quantity.  So you should deactivate rebate processing for that Billing Doc type. T Code OVB0. That should close the issue.
    2) Pricing type 'D' in copy control from sales to Billing documents should ensure that Pricing from the CM request (VA01) gets copied in Credit memo (VF01) completely. Why do you need user exits for that? T code VTFA.
    3) If you need to change pricing type selectively for some conditions, then you should configure the condition type with condition category X,Y or Z ( Customer Reserve) and then use USEREXIT_PRICING_RULE (module pool SAPLV61A, program RV61AFZA to ensure that those conditions are copied (or otherwise) from source. But I don't think you need this.

  • Modification in copy control from Contract to Sales order

    Hello Gurus...
We are using a standard copy control routine to copy header and item level data from Contract to Sales order.
Now what happening is the price for some items is changing after creation of contract. But when the sales order is created it is copying old value from contract.
I want to modify the routine in such a way that I can redetermine the price for the item.
I can not change configuration as the same is used by multiple company codes and the change is required only for some company code.
    Any suggestions please?

    Hi there,
You have do some customizing in the pricing type at the copy controls in item level.
Define a copy control routine at the item level in VOFM. In the routine put a condition that the system should read the value in the pricing type. As per your requirement if the company code / sales org is 1000 / XXXX for eg, then the system should apply the pricing type that will carry out the new pricing at the order (I am not connected to SAP right now so not sure what that pricing type is). If the company code / sales org is apart from 1000 / XXXX, it should default the pricing type that is there in standard copy control VTAA.
Check if that is possible with your ABAPer. What I feel is that you have to hard code the pricing type value (that will carry new pricing) in the new copy control routine.

  • Basic Condition in copying control

    Hi All,
anybody can you tell me what is basic rule in copying control.I know if copying from one doc to another certail thing are not copied.but how can i know.like if i am copying from invoice to return order assassable value is not copied but i have maintain pricing type D in copying control, what is the reason behind this that certain thing are not copied.
    regards
    ajit

    Hi,
If you maintain D in the PRICING TYPE in COPY CONTROLS then definitley it should copy from the SOURCE to TARGET.
Please check in the Return order ->ITEM CONDITIONS->ANALYSIS and check the Condition type. It will give information on why it was not copied.

  • How to make use of customer reserve pricing types in copying control

    Hi All
Please inform how to make use of 'customer reserve' pricing types like 'X,Y,Z & 1-9' keys in copying control.
Right now I'm on maintenance & supporting project for european client.  They used pricing type 'Z' for copying condition records from stadard sales order to returns(RE) order.  I wanted to know that what is 'Z' and how it is functioning to resolve one urgent ticket assigned to me.
Could you please guide me where should I verify its logic.
    Thanks & Regards
    Seshu

    Hi Seshu,
Pricing type changes will done at user exit level. You may want to look at the user exit USEREXIT_PRICING_RULE (module pool SAPLV61A, program RV61AFZA)
Also, OSS note 24832 will help you to get an understanding.

  • Pricing Exchange Rate Type in Copy Control VTFL

    Hello,
We have Pricing Exchange Rate type in the Copy control from Delivery To billing ( VTFL) at item level.
This Exchange rate type is used for price determination in the billing document. there are several options available for this field.
    A     Copy from sales order
B     Price exchange rate = Accouting rate
C     Exchange rate determination according to billing date
D     Exchange rate determination according to pricing date
E     Exchange rate determination according to current date
F     Exch.rate determination accord.to date of services rendered
Normally the Exchange Rate in the accounting document is determined based on the rate available in the system on the billing date.
now what is the difference between "B" and "C".
I could not find any change in the way it processed when i put B or when i put C .
Does any one know what is the impact on the system if we select B or C.  In what scenarios we use "B" and in what scenarios we use "C"
    Your answers are much appreciated.

    Hi,
what is the difference between "B" and "C".
B Price exchange rate = Accouting rate
This value is used to determine the EXCHANGE RATE based on the Rate maintain in the ACCOUNTING DOCUMENT TYPES in OBA7 Transaction code irrespective of what determined in the ORDER
C Exchange rate determination according to billing date
This value determines the EXCHANGE rate based on the Rates maintained  in the Transaction code OB08 and get the values from  the table TCURR based on the BILLING DOCUMENT DATE.

  • Copy Control : Sales document to Sales document

    Dear Experts,
We have a requirement relating to copy control between sales document to sales document i.e Creating a contract with reference to an already existing data.
    Please consider the following example:
    Contract A
    Valid from: 01-01-2010
    Valid to: 31-12-2010
    Material Code: X1
    Material Pricing Group: Y1
To enable the users to create a contract with reference to this existing one i set up the copy control between the document types:
    Source document type: ZM05
    Target document type: ZM05
In VA41 transaction i chose "Create with Reference" and chose the contract tab and entered Contract "A" number.
In the overview screen the system populates the valid from date as : 01.01.2011 - At item level validity dates is copied same as of contract A.
Second observation is certain material specific data such as material pricing group does not get copied. Client wants such details also to get copied over into the new contract.
Could you please provide your valuable inputs on where we can make the settings to copy the data exactly as it was maintained in the existing contract ?
    Thank you
    Regards
    Siddharth Sridhar

    Hi,

  • Copy Control from Billing doc to Debit memo request

    hi,
we are trying to sort the follwing problem out. We create a debit memo request with reference to the invoice, we then change the sold to party, however the pricing is carried out again. we want to retain the invoice values but only change the sold to party and quantities. i have change the copy control to "copy pricing elements unchanged" however it still reprices the debit memo.

    Hi,
As per your question, You have invoiced customer X wants to issue debit memo request to  customer Y.
How come is it possible?Could you elaborate the scenario?
SAP system retrieve master data from sold -to-party record for Sales order and also  access ship-to-party record for delivery and access Payer's record for Billing.
You change sold to party in Debit memo request.SAP system access record of new sold-to-party  for debit memo req.(It is sales order type).
In T-code VTAF - You  changed Pricing type to D-copy pricing elements unchanged. It is not sufficient to fulfill your requirement. In this transaction other Data transfer routine also affects copying. These are Data transfer routine 104(business data item billing) and 004(Billing item partner).
Data transfer routine allow you to fine tune the transferred fields during the copying process. It specifies the item business data to be transferred from a billing document item to a sales document item.Special checks are also performed to be sure that SOLD -TO-PARTY IS THE SAME PRIOR TO initiating data transfer of the item related business data.Iten related business data are incoterms, taxes discount applicable to Sold-to-party.
In your case sold-to- party is changed. It also changes business data and pricing.
    Hope it would help you.
    Thanks,
    Vrajesh

  • Milestone billing, the system only allows pricing types D, G and K

    Hi,
I would like to use pricing type as C Copy manual pricing elements and redetermine the others for Mile stone billing item catagory.(VTFA copy control setup)
While changing pricing type from G to C in copy control VTFA - ITEM LEVEL, i am getting this beow warning message.
Milestone billing, the system only allows pricing types D, G and K
Could you tell what is impact of this warning message?
    Best Regards,
    Chandramohan

Read OSS Note 102961 - New pricing type for milestone billing plans.
It looks it used to be error message, until version 4.5A.
This is just to make sure that the cost conditions are adjusted to the billing percentage rate. By keeping value K you can achieve this.

  • Copy control from Credit Note to Credit Memo Request

    Dear gurus,
After I set the copy control parameters in my billing doc, source - credit memo request & Target - Credit memo,
I could not find my condition types to be copied from my credit memo request.
I have infact set the pricing type to D - Copy pricing elements unchanged.
Can you let me know if I had missed anything?
Also, to clarify on this credit concept. Say that we sent 2 pieces of a product worth $100 each & if it happened that the customer returned 1 piece , we can create a credit memo request via VA01 for the part that customer returns & if the pricing condition is $100, we create a condition value $100 back to the customer.
So further create a credit note where this $100 is copied from Credit Memo request order type.
This is the concept of credit correct me if i am wrong
    regds,
    a

    Hi Pri,
Give me your mail ID I can send you some screen shot of the Copy control set from Credit memo request to credit memo.
    To clarify on Credit.
In the first instaance we have supplied 2 items to customer and Billed them. Now he has returned one material to account for this returned material you can create a returns order and complete the cycle and then create a credit memo for the returned material.
    ELSE
You only want to adjust for billing. Then when we have already billed customer for 2 items and out of which 1 item is returned and hence we have to give him credit memo for 1 item i.e $100 in your case.
The condition value in Credit Memo Request (G2) would be taken from standard conition type PR00 only.
FIRST Create a credit Memo Request (G2) in VA01
CMR is set with a billing block
Go to VA02 and remove the block
Create a Credit memo Using VF01 using Billing Type G2. The system will copy the data from CMR to Credit memo once you set the Copy control in VTFA
    REWARD IF IT HELPS

  • Copy Control error

    hello,
I want to maintain copy control from Invoice to Order
Invoice is intercompany invoice and order is Credit memeo request
Copy control is working for Header part
but at item level its not working meaning items from invoice are not getting copied into Order
    can you guide on same
    Regards,
    Abhijit

    Hi
Directly creating credit memo request from intercompany billing is not a standard process
Hence you wont find copy controls in place in VTAF between source doc type billing IV to Target doc type CR
But this was the requirenment for me too in the recent project and hence i also made copy controls between source doc type billing IV to Target doc type CR credit memo request in VTAF by copying the F2 to CR key
At item level you need to define controls for your item category NLC that might be missing from your end
At item level you need to maintain Data transfer routines 153,104,and 004 pricing type as D copying requirements as 303 and update document flow as X  and everything else blank
This scenario and settings work very fine for me in production
    Regards
    Raja

  • How to delete a Item line in a Sales Order during Copy Control

I want to delete a Line item (VBAP ) record for a certain condition during Copying from reference  . I am writing the code in the Data Transfer Routine 151 which is called through VOFM Transaction  . I  cannot delete it as it . it is a work area VBAP . When i Clear it in debugging i am only able to clear the Line items . I want to completely remove the line . Is there a user exit for the same .

    Hi,
You should create a new copy requirement routine at item level in order to exclude the unwanted item.
Assign the requirement routine to each item category type in the copy control .
