Primary counter for fleet--How to create

I am customizing for fleet consumption data recording. I have done settings for Units of measurement, special measurerment position.Now I am doing settings for "calculation method for fleet consumption values". It is asking Primary counter.
Can someone please explain step by step procedure to create Primary counter and assing it in node "calculation method for fleet consumption values" in spro.
Should i create this primary counter in front end using IK01 or is it in spro that we define this primary counter with the same name as fuel reading.
Then update reading using IFCU.
Please provide ur inputs.

You need to create it manually by IK01 and need to mention the description / Position as the same you mentioned in the special measurement point settings in SPRO.
For calculation procedure you need to mention whether you want to use Cost center or Standing order and then the same procedure you need to mention in equipment master data.

Steps on how to proceed to create a Query:
ADHOC QUERY
A query can be created to extract information from master records i.e Infotypes. For example, by creating a query , the data relating to an employee contained in various Infotypes can be extracted.
Proceedure :
Decide on the various Infotypes we want to make the query. Decide on the area where we want to query i.e Global area or Standard area. Standard area is client specific and globel area will include all clients.
Menu : HR PM Admn - Information System - Adhoc Query
Select area standard and select the user group already created
Creation of new query :
TC SQ03 - Select Environment Select Standard Area - Enter -- If new user group is to be created, enter name of the user group, click on create and enter necessary information and exit after saving
TC SQ02 - Enter name of the Infoset Create enter name of Infoset - Data source -- > Table join by basis table give name of table e.g pa0000 - Enter - Click on insert table if we want to include more tables give name of table one by one and after finishing, place cursor on the joining lines and right click to delete unwanted relationships - check - and go back - field groups - include all table fields - click on generate button   - go out
TC SQ03 - Select user group -   eg. Payroll
Infoset - Enter name of newly created Infoset
Assign users and Infosets - Assign infosets - put tick on payroll - save and go back
TC PAAH - Expand the nodes and put tick on relevant fields depending upon necessity
Save the query by giving the same name as infoset for easyness..
For executing a query which is already created
1. Go to SQ01 transaction
2. Go to Environment menu->query areas->std areas
3. Then choose the user group where the query is created
4. It will display all the queries created for the group.choose the query you want to executeand click execute.
5. will take to the initial screen
6. Enter the required parameters and execute

How to create transitions for Premiere?

Hello All,
I've looked and looked to see how I can create transitions for Premiere, and I keep coming up short. I'm on a Mac and I can create transitions in Motion 5 for FCPX. But I always been an Adobe guy... It's just frustrating that I can't seem to find any help creating them for Premiere. I was hoping After Effect would do the trick? Maybe a 3rd party app can do it?
Let me clear... I know how to apply a transition to my clips. What I'm looking for is how to create a costume transition. Example: my have an object / artwork as the transition.
Please help.

Not sure if Spice Master is ported for the Mac, but you might want to check out Pixelan. Besides shipping with tons of Transitions, one can do a lot of creation, and their support is excellent.

How to Create an Oracle BAM Server Connection?

I m following the steps at the end of this post to create the connection but at the end I m getting this message from JDev:
{Unable to write to
/C:/JDeveloper/mywork/Application1/.adf/META-INF/connections.xml
because it is a read-only. Either make it writable or allow it to be made writable through source control.}
it creates the directory C:/JDeveloper/mywork/Application1/.adf/META-INF/ with only a adf-config.xml file but NOT the connections.xml any one knows what is wrong?
Bellow is the stpes I m following. Its exactly what is written at the Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer´s guide for Oracle SOA Suite 11g Release 1(11.1.1) E10224-01
To create an Oracle BAM connection:
1. Select New from the File main menu in Oracle JDeveloper.
The New Gallery dialog opens.
2. Choose Connections from the General category.
3. Select BAM Connection in the Items list, and click OK.
The BAM Connection wizard opens.
4. Provide a name for the connection. Leave the Create Connection In selection as
Application Resources.
5. Click Next.
6. Enter the following connection information about the Oracle BAM instance.
7. Click Next.
8. Test the connection by clicking Test Connection. If the connection was successful,
the following message appears:
Passed.
9. Click Finish.
Note: You can create connections to Oracle BAM in the Oracle
JDeveloper Resource Palette as well as the Application Resources
panel of a specific application. It is recommended that you create these
connections in the Application Resources pane rather than the
Resource Palette.
Field Description
BAM Web Host Enter the name of the host on which the BAM report server and
Web server are installed. In most cases, the BAM Web host and
Oracle BAM Server host are the same.
BAM Server Host Enter the name of the host on which the Oracle BAM Server is
installed.
User Name Enter the Oracle BAM Server user name (typically bamadmin).
Password Enter the password of the user name.
HTTP Port Enter the port number or accept the default value of 8888. This is
the HTTP port for the BAM Web host.
RMI Port Enter the port number or accept the default value of 9085. The
RMI port is for the BAM report cache, which is part of the Oracle
BAM Server.
Use HTTPS Select this check box if you want to use secure HTTP (HTTPS) to
connect to the Oracle BAM Server during design time.
Otherwise, HTTP is used.

Ok that will be nice, but is not the case I dont want to read the tutorial, the problem is I already start to read and execute the tutorial you told me the problem is this tutorial it doesnt show how to do everything from scratch because you already have inside the zip file everything like xmls etc etc, and I want to get my DO and create the process myself, I dont want to get something that it is already done, this tutorial does not show for example how to create this composite.xml, this file it is already inside the zip file, so this way I just follow half of the process and dont learn how to make the whole process.

Hi,
If you're using the BEx Analyzer, you can create a variant at the variable selection screen. There is a button "save as variant" and you can also maintain existing variants.

If you are trying to read some information from SAP and you can't find the right BAPI then RFC_READ_TABLE can do the job for you.
RFC_READ_TABLE is powerful RFC it gives you the access to all tables and views in SAP. I basically used RFC_READ_TABLE for Material Master Search application on the Intranet.
Now you may say there are lots of BAPI for this functionality. You are right but I had to work around the BAPI to get Prices (Moving Average Price) and it just did not work very well. Because of the nature of the application I had to use RFC_READ_TABLE because then I can use powerful SQL expression for searching. RFC_READ_TABLE give you the ability to code the where clause which is quite enough.
I have included part of the code use in asp page to read ENT1027 for Mgroup and M description & number but without object creation. The other part of the code reads MBEW for price & quantity.

How to create legacy group asset in AS81

Hi All,
I got a requirement to upload legacy group assets for IT Depreciation, for that how to create it in AS81.
Asset takeover date is on 01.04.2010, then what should be the capitalisation date for this group asset as this is a group of assets.
If I give capitalisation date as Asset takeover date, then takeover value tab is going to grey and not allowing for values input.
Give your suggestions how to resolve it.

Have you message Message AY252 - Current fiscal year XXXX has to be after transfer date ZZ/YY/XXXX?
If you enter the date from the error message ZZ/YY/XXXX is should work.
You will have to ensure that the
Closed Year is in line with Transfer date and
Current Fiscal Year is later than Transfer date.
Following Parameters are relevant:
T093B-ABGJA = Closed Year
T093C-DATUM = Transfer date
T093C-LGJAN = Current Fiscal Year

Remote cubes(Virtual infocubes) will be used to export up-to-date data directly from a planning area.
A). we can create Virtual infocubes three types in BW.
1.SAP remote cube -- for other modules like CRM etc
2.Non SAP remote cube -- for other databases
3.with services -- for a particular functional module
B). we can create three types Virtual infocubes in BI.
a).Virtual infocubes for Direct Access
b). with SOurce system
c). Based on Funtion Module.
The above types are same(BW and BI).
You can create by RSA1> Select Infoprovider> Select Info area> Create the Infocube> Select Virtual infocubes.

You can set up an iCloud account which makes the iCloud email address you choose the Apple ID and thus the login for it:

though I have to say I think it's more sensible if the ID is another address, both for security reasons (so people don't know what the login is) and as a contact address from Apple if the account were to stop working and they needed to contact you. So personally I would to to System Preferences, enter the GMail address which is an ID, and then choose a nerw @icloud.com address.
If she has her own iCloud account she will need either her own computer or her own user account on your Mac to be able to make use of it. You should note that under Apple's terms of use Apple IDs are only available to children of 13 and over.
As to purchasing apps, this is nothing to do with iCloud: it's iTunes, and the login can be different. So you can all sign into the same iTunes account but have different iCloud accounts. Or she can have her own iTunes account if she is of suitable age (credit card needed for purchasing apps).
If you have other children you should be aware that any one Mac or device can create only three iCloud accounts - this is tied to the serial number, not the user account, and once reached cannot be bypassed. You can of course sign into an iCloud account created on another device.

I need to calculate count() of records where Key is not NULL. In this example, this field must return coun() = 2.
I suppose, CASE operator may help me with that, but I do not know for sure how to do this.

But I must concretise my issue.
I need to calculate number of records (e.g. order_id) that sutisfy appropriate condition (one of columns (e.g. loy_member_id) is set to null).
I created logical column, that returns order_id if condition (loy_member_id is null) is met.
Look at my logical column:
Q Orders (LPM) - must return number of orders where loyalty_member_id is null.
It has an expression:
CASE WHEN NOT "Foxtrot (my) replica"."Sales Orders".LOY_MEMBER_ID IS NULL THEN "Foxtrot (my) replica"."Sales Orders".ORDER_ID ELSE NULL END
So, this returns order_id I need.
But the question is how to count number of order_id's returned by this column on BMM Layer.
When I define my column with next expression:

I receive error:

You should be more specific, what kind of hardware you are using ???
Which kind of pulse you are measuring ?? You are saying that you want to count a number of pulses and then when you get to a limit (which will be between 3 and 10) you want to output a pulse ?
