Prime 2.0 patch or 2.1 beta to support WLC 7.6??

Will there be a beta run of 2.1 PI like there was for the latest 7.4 MR for WLC or even a patch to go on 2.0 that will allow us to finally manage WLC code above 7.4?  These seperate PI software trains have been killing us trying to get to a more stable HA MSE (above 7.4.110) AND now to support the new 3702 APs.

Hi Toni
PI 2.0 & PI 1.4.x is incompatible to each other & you cannot resotre databases from one version to another.
To support 3700 you need to have PI 1.4.1 at the moment. See below for the 1.4.1 release notes
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/prime/infrastructure/1.4/release/notes/cpi_rn_141.html
This is a patch release for Cisco Prime Infrastructure1.4 (1.4.0.45). This patch must be installed on top of your existing Prime Infrastructure 1.4. This release supports two new AP platforms - Cisco 3700 and Cisco 1530 series access points (supported by WLC 7.6.100.0). This release also delivers a number of critical bug fixes. The update 1 for Prime Infrastructure 1.4 enables you to manage Cisco WLC 7.6.100.0 with the features of Cisco WLC 7.5.102.0 and earlier releases. This release does not support any new features of Cisco WLC 7.6.100.0

  • [svn:fx-trunk] 16267: Added better baseline support for ConstraintLayout.

    Author:   [email protected]
    Date:     2010-05-20 15:24:53 -0700 (Thu, 20 May 2010)
    Log Message:
Added better baseline support for ConstraintLayout. ConstraintRow's now have a baseline property. It can either be a number or of the form "maxAscent:x". In the first case, it will position elements at that y-pixel value in the row based on their baseline position.  Otherwise, it first aligns elements to the maximum baseline position of the elements in the row, and then, positions elements based on the pixel value provided. This support allows elements with different baselinePositions to be aligned more easily.

  • Does firefox 27 beta 2 support metro mode?

Does firefox 27 beta 2 support metro mode. If yes, how to use in metro mode? Because, it is still opening in desktop mode even though it has all defaults

The Metro mode is currently available on the Aurora and Nightly channels only. For more information, see [[How do I install Windows 8 (Metro-style) Firefox?]]

  • Better Proxy support in the software

I am trying to use the BlackBerry Link software behind a proxy. However the software doesn't have any option to either be given proxy settings or just pick them up yourself (as quite a few other softwares do). I am not even able to sign in to my BlackBerry ID, since it says it can't connect to the internet.
I would really appreciate better proxy support/features in the future version.
PS : I think while installing BlackBerry Link, the installer downloads BlackBerry Link from the internet, the installer didn't have a problem downloading behind a proxy, even though I didn't provide any proxy settings (must've picked up the IE settings automatically) however the actual software doesn't.

I've updated to 1.0.0.76 and am still having this problem behind our proxy. I'm surprised it isn't supported yet since many people who receive new BlackBerry devices get them through work.

  • Having just installed the first patch on firefox 4 beta, I now find none of the folders in my bookmarks toolbar will open.

I have a series of folders in my bookmarks toolbar, which used to drop down when clicked. They are now inactive.
Additionally, I have just tried to click the help menu to copy and paste the troubleshooting info, only to discover none of the menus at the top of the page are working either.
    ?

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • Patching application server when no technical support

    Hi guys,
I was asked this yesterday by a customer of mine and i was unable to answer him so thought id post on here before contacting Oracle direct.
    He bought a 10x 10g iAS, 10 x10g DB licenses aprox 2 yrs ago.
He then installed them both, iAS on 101202. He downloaded all patchsets but never installed them at this time as wanted to get it up and running before patching.
After 12 months the company was not in a position to purchase tech support due to economic climate so currently do not have tech support.
They now have a error that is troubling them, this error was fixed in both patchset 2 and 3 which he downloaded and were both released at the time he was supported.
So the question he is asking is.. is he breaking any license agreement by patching the app server at this time, considering they were available when he had support?
    Thanks in advance

So your saying he would be breaking his license contract by applying patches available when he purchased his licenses?
If he had aplied them on the last day of his support he would not have these issues and would be patched to 10g Patchset 3 without any license issue at all.
If he is in fact breaking the license contract what would happen if he needed to reinstall the oracle db at a later stage? He has paid for these licenses so is allowed to reinstall them.
Going one step further.. if he (for example) was on 10123 and needed a reinstall when he had no tech support would this mean he would only be able to put on 101202 as he was not allowed to patch?
i know in an ideal world its better to have support but im confused as to why if these were available when they had support why he cant put them on now?

  • Ticket support system raising better customer support for ecommerce

Customers will want to know more about your business and purchase your product. Most Internet marketers and business owners believe that having a ticket system helps in managing customers and support.
By raising support ticket system, customer service team can locate the status of customer queries each time, immediately whenever they want. It is a logical and organized approach towards problem management and troubleshooting. It is ability to view & support tickets, support multiple language, synchor emails and tickets, updation and tracking of tickets, customized click sidebar, a variety of inquiry forms to choose from, FAQ knowledge base, and intelligent reports. Besides, support ticket software are usually equipped to manage groups of operators working on a huge volume of customer requests.
The fact of the matter is that this system can save a lot of time and money of your company. If the customer faces any problem, you have to be equally adept in handling such situations. Here recommend iKode Helpdesk for 30 Days Free Trial!

Most likely an IT ticket system, where people create tickets
when a problem arises, and the IT tech/dept receives the ticket and
    reacts appropriately.
I do not know of a pre-made system like this, however it
would take little programming to set this up. Build it into a web
app for easy company distribution. Then create a form that inputs
the user's name, department, and problem. If able, use CFMAIL to
notify your tech team when a ticket has been filed. Else, you will
have to keep a meta refresh page querying from a ticket database to
    show new tickets in realtime.
We do this at my agency and CFMAIL has been very useful. We
get a somewhat large volume of support calls from unplugged cables,
printer toner changes, to broken apps. The ticket system allows us
to better manage the immediate problems from the ones that can
wait. We still take urgent support by phone because sometimes,
email just isn't fast enough! :)

  • Will VS 2015 offer any better javascript support for intellisense compare to 2013 or 2012?

Ive started using AngularJS and the intellisense or code completion features are kinda blah in 2012 and done appear to be much any better in 2013.  Is there hope for 2015?
Other developers doing alot of front end work with javascript, especially with some of the newer frameworks are using tools like Webstorm for the front-end code and leaving VS for the back-end code.  Id rather not use two different IDE's if possible.
Luckily, for now the front end code isnt that extensive on my projects, but that is starting to change.
    eg.

    Hi shiftbit,
Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.
Based on your issue, as far as I know that the VS2015 is offer javascript support for intellisense. For more information, please see the part of the JaveScript Editor support from the following link.

Since this VS2015 is still a preview version instead of final released version,

  • Is there better HTML support in swing?

Is there a better HTML implementation than the one found in swing.text.html package that is freely available? (eg: the HTML parser that supports HTML 4, CSS, and better renderer than JEditorPane)
    thanks

I understand you're desire to find a different package. I've been exploring the org.w3c.dom.html package from the W3C.

  • 'El Capitan' Beta Not Supported by SAV for OSX

    Hey Everyone,
In the last couple weeks I've seen a few folks post about issues with the new beta release of OSX 'El Capitan' which was released a few weeks ago. Just wanted to pass on the official word that this beta is unsupported. Here's the official KB article.
    In our experience:
A new install of SAV 9.2.7 on El Capitan is currently expected to fail
If SAV is installed and working prior to an upgrade to El Capitan, it "may" continue to work, but we can't guarantee anything.
Please remember, proceed with caution when installing a Beta OS, as we can't guarantee stability.
Our Mac development team is currently working on building and testing a new release of SAV which will be fully compatible and available prior to the official release of El Capitan later this fall.
Thanks everyone for your continued support and patience. Happy Friday!

If it's OK to pass this along, while the El Capitan beta won't normally allow SAV to run, and updates will fail if it's already present and working in an earlier version of OS X before the upgrade, in my experience the current version of SAV will run and update reliably if "System Integrety Protection" is turned off while booted into the El Capitan Recovery drive. See this article in MacWorld for an explanation of what that is and how to turn it off. Note that if System Integrety Protection was on when SAV was broken, simply turning it off won't bring SAV back to life. SAV needs to be reinstalled after System Integrety Protection is disabled, but as long as System Integrety Protection continues disabled, SAV so far has continued to work. While I don't recommend running the Mac that way, if it's the user's production drive (not a good idea with a beta OS), then it's a solution I'd use. Personnally, I consider Sophos AV important enough that I plan to upgrade from Mountain Lion to Yosemite rather than El Capitan for production purposes simply to have Sophos available and running. BTW, System Integrety Protection interferes with fully successful cloning too, which is another reason to hold off with production systems.

  • ANN: uCalc Fast Math Parser 2.95 - better LabVIEW support

uCalc Fast Math Parser 2.95 is now available.  With the help of a LabVIEW user, better support for LabVIEW was implemented in this version, in the form of a wrapper dll (uCalcWrp.dll).
uCalc Fast Math Parser lets you evaluate math expressions defined at runtime.   I am not a LabVIEW user myself, but I'm told that LabVIEW has a parser, but uCalc has the advantage of being faster, and more flexible.
    See www.ucalc.com/ucalcfmp.html for details.
    Daniel Corbier
    www.ucalc.com

Unfortunately, currently uCalc doesn't have detailed documentation specifically for LabVIEW the way it does for other supported compilers.  However, there is a LabVIEW entry in the help file (uCalcFMP.chm), under Compiler Specifics (the LV entry directs you to a topic entitled Other Compilers).  There you will see the list of uCalc routines that are exported from the DLL.  This will help you determine the number of parameters and data types to use in your prototypes.
By the way, if the help file appears blank (as people occasionally report), simply right-click the uCalcFMP.chm file, and change the security setting to allow that file to be viewed.

  • K8N Neo2 = better RAM support?

Judging by the fact that the K8N Neo (socket754) had severe issues with numerous memorymodules it is nothing else then logical that there should be better support for memories such as eg. twinMOS.
Has anyone heard anything about this? I've ordered twinMOS and a neo2 platinum but I might just change the order.

Ok im thinking SCREW socket 939, im going 754..
    Instead of :
    Msi k8n neo2 plat 939
    3500+ 64
    2x512 Twinmos i'll do:
    MSi K8N NEO PLAT 754
    3400+ 64
    2X512 A-data PC4000 Vitesta
I should reach pretty high clock speeds with that
