Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time Detection

I Have an MSI GForce4 MX440 with AGP 8x 64MB. i just bought Prince of persia sands of time, and the game is not detecting my graphics card. ive tried installing the latest drivers from MSI. but there is no difference. the game requires a GForce 3 equivalent card as minimum. so i dont understand why it isent detecting the gfx card. My system specs are given below. Could someone please please please help me out here.

hello there.i just purschaced msi nx6600 td256e and i tried to play the game that it was in the package (prince of persia sands of time).the card was successfully installed on the motherboard with the latest drivers and direct x.when i installed the game and tried to play a window occured that said that this card was not supported by the game and that i will have problems.what is going on please help me.

Today i installed Prince of persia Forgotten sands in Xp Sp3.... The game sound is muffled[lack of detail & treble bass is good] while playing, but on cutscenes it's good but low audio output through out the game..... Installed drivers" Daniel Support pack 2.7"... But Badcompany 2 , Split a second and Blur has no problems sound was brilliant, had these muffled audio in some games too eg: X-men, Call of Juarez and most wanted.... But Tried these games on windows 7 no problems with sound quality... Direct X updated to latest... any idea is it with direct sound or anything.... Plz hel pme!!!

Prince of Persia 3D on FX5200-128

:-]]]ALL games are fine, EXCEPT with Prince of Persia 3D(NOT sands of time), it crashes after the first movie logo . The only way to run POP3D is to disabling "direct draw" . the game grafics are still OK, but is soooo slow.

I tested the game with my old vodoo 3 3000 and the game goes perfectly . But with my Geforce FX 5200 the game crashes . I think it could be a "opengl" or "direct3d" configuration of my geforcefx5200, but I don´t know how options try first(so much combined options ).
:idea:One final question, Is that a problem if I put my old vodoo 3 3000 in the same computer with geforcefx5200???

Time detection is broken in Mac OS 10.9.1. I'm living in Minsk (GMT +3). Time zone detects correctly, updating time from servers is turned on. But time is always leads +3 hours. How to fix it? Maybe time settings conflics with Windows 7?

Audigy 1 Platinum and Prince of Persia:Warrior Wit

Ok, I have an Audigy Platinum. I recently updated to the latest drivers and everything. I usually don't like updating the drivers for this card, but i recently had to due to PowerDVD6 sound not working correctly in 5.. Well I fixed the PowerDVD6 problem, and now have a new problem. I recently installed Prince of Persia :Warrior Within, and once passed the UBI soft logo, the sound shuts off, and I'm left without sound. I also noticed that when I ALT-TAB back to the desktop, I go to my AUDIO HQ, and check the EAX Control panel, and its empty, no presets, or environments.. All I wanna know is, WHAT DO I DO?!!!!
I would hate to have to purchase a new Card, even I understand this is an older card..

PPP CHAP re-authentication timer , detectable ?

I think PPP with CHAP has an interval or periodic timer that triggers a re-authentication.
I cannot find a timer setting to set the interval.
Neither can i find a show command that will show me the timer.
If this is a randomized timer, then it is clear that it is not showing these timers, but..
How would i be able to DETECT when a re-authentication has happened ? How long should i monitor a CPE to check if a CHAP re-authentication has happened ?
I am using these debugs:
PPP authentication debugging
PPP protocol negotiation debugging
PPPoE protocol events debugging
but has not seen a CHAP event yet.
The setup is a 1006 as BRAS with SB-radius, 867VAE and other Cisco DSL clients using PPPoE.
So my Q's;
- is CHAP re-authentication detectable ? how ? what average timers ?
- Is the interval settable ? how

Include on the ppp authentication ms-chap, and enable the same on the radius server.

I was in Sag Harbor just around the time the Vietnam war was leading up to our present day love affair with that country manufacturing most of our sneakers and apparel, along with China of course and the 'pacific rim'.
Back in the late 60's it was " hippie " culture and young people making noise about what is right for America and our music reflected that. Some good music came out of that era, and a few good movies. I don't pretend to have any connection to those good products... just an affinity.
A friend had a " leather shop" on main street in Sag Harbor then..in 1968, when the rent was affordable for a young man and wife with talent to make leather goods...and candles etc. It was down the street from the American Hotel and across the street from the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, and a few doors away from the " Black Buoy" ( a very disreputable whaling type bar of the sordid variety ).
The American Hotel at that time rented rooms for about $ 5.00 a night. It was a seedy but a sturdy building, dating back to the days of whales and fishermen. And the Revolutionary war etc. It had some harpoons on the walls, and some other artifacts scattered about the place, but basically it was a man's bar that served men who wanted to drink off the day's work and do what free society and our constitution admired most. That is, if you wanted to you could smoke a cigarette and laugh and play and drink until you could hardly walk.
Mostly that was the "extreme" of freedom... we were not idiots. The leather shop was a great success in town, and many intellectuals and artists frequented the place from Long Island and NYC.
At that time Sag Harbor was where you went to ' avoid ' the Hamptons... a place that still had character and the spirit of what made places like that comfortable for everyone from the Captain of the ship, to the lowest sailor on his first whaling trip. When the American Hotel got bought by outsiders and closed for renovation, and eventually reopened to this monstrosity you see here... it was the end of an era for that town. I hope they fare well, but really, this article and what you read about its cheap rooms and outhouses in the back yard.. is really not accurate. It was much more vital and beautiful before they turned it into a cheap imitation of a 4 star hotel in Cannes. Or whatever your mind considers " classy".

Ya, MN. where I am ...west of the twin cities in lake area is pretty and nice. I hear the winters get cold so I'll know more about how this place is after this next winter is over. Right now it's been mostly in the 90's for the past month, but there's a pool in back of apt complex and the lakes, so its been OK. Not working yet...but starting to look around for something to do work wise.

Tomorrow going on boat to check out some potential shots ...ordered some surgical tubing to build rig for camera to put close to water.
I dont miss ny or long island. In fact, nyc and thought of driving one more time on the BQE gives me nightmares. My apt is literally 3x bigger than ny apt and half as expensive. Plus got pool, storage, parking spot, patio, dishwasher, free heat ( for winter ), AC unit built into wall, way nicer than ny. NY really sucks. Did you hear about bloomberg organizing apt units in city that are 400 sq feet ? What an idiot.

And those will probably go for about $2500 / mo. rent or more. how retarded. Young people in city are having room mates just so they can afford to pay their rents. Can you imagine sharing a studio apt that is 400 sq ft ? Put japaneese type divider down center of room ? I really don't know how come people in nyc don't totally freak out. Prince of Persia the NON HD version

Well I have both HD and nonHD versions, and considering the HD version wasnt intended for the 5800, it lags like hell, so I downloaded the 2D version from Ovi Store, and what do you know, the thing cannot load the 9th stage. Anyone know where to get a correctly running one? Also some games from the store doesnt work. Dont they test them?

POP:SOT won't acknowledge admin rights

I'm a newbie here and I came to this specific forum because I thought it was the best fit for my problem. If any one here can suggest a more appropriate place to be for the problem described below I'd appreciate it.
I bought the game Prince of Persia: Sands of Time but
after installing it and trying to run it a Windows error
pops up saying I must have admin rights to run. Then
another error says the game process has been manually
killed. The thing is I'm the only user on the machine
with admin rights--in fact I'm the only user on the
machine period. Here's what I've tried to correct the
problem, just so anybody willing to help can see what I
may have missed while doing so:
--Uninstalled POP:SOT and cleared out the windows\temp
folder as well as all registry references before
reinstalling
--Installed on the builtin administrator's account
--Installed and rebooted before trying to start program
(even though it didn't say it had to be rebooted)
--Created a new admin account and then tested all of the
above
I've made sure that all antivirus software was turned off
during the installations, and searched other forums as well as whatever relatable issue I could think of on the internet. Even ubisoft support couldn't help. I don't know of what else to try.
All the drivers have been updated and
windows updates have been downloaded & updated as well. My
machine specs are below if anyone finds them useful.

O.K. I've installed the game on another computer with windows 2000 and it works. I was relieved to know that it wasn't the game that was bad, but got pissed since it means that it's definitely something with my computer. I've also made sure that all the registry settings which relate to prince of persia give my users full control within the permissions. Anyway, here's a list of my IRQ devices:

There are a great many topics about this... Rather than necro posting, I thought I'd make a new topic... My Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS card outputs little chunks of static every once in a while.

Flickering in MSI 6600gt VTD128

Hi,
I have some problems with 6600gt AGP card i just bought.
1. I notice constant flickering (i don't know how to name it precisely) when playing games (any game). If i move the mouse slowly, i can notice flickering on the top of the screen, looks like the lines are drawing up too slow. Even if the fps is >80 in far cry or 40fps in Half life. It's killing me :(
2. Far cry has too much lightning in the game. I'll upload the screenshots if you need them.
2. There's no fog in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. If "fog" is enabled in options, i don't see anything on the screen. If i disable it, everything is just fine.
Tested with the both cards i bought (MSI 6600gt VTD128)
Please, help me solve at least the first problem.

refresh overrides helped my eyes greatly. thanks most of the flickering has gone, at least my eye does not notice them. moreover, i can enjoy watching movies in lower resolutions.
but i still have problems with the light effects. could it be a problem with my memory? just tested it with memtest and got 2.4 GB/s in dual pc2700 mode with my celeron-d! that's really frustrating :( i think i need to upgrade my cpu and psu.
by the way, any hint to disable fast writes on Neo2-PLS? couldn't find the option in bios.

Intense 3D Problems

i just built up a computer using the K7N2 Delta series board, with brand new parts. however, even with my video card, all 3d games and applications crash in anywhere from 10 seconds to an hour. happens on numerous games (Prince Of Persia: Sands of Time, Dead To Rights, Legacy Of Kain: Defiance, Beyond Good And Evil) but for some reason Final Fantasy XI has never crashed. it's gotten to be a real bother, and i'm actually considering taking it into a repair shop and letting them get it fixed up. this is my last resort, please help me out if you can!
