Leading a team of 5 engineers, the Principal Engineer is responsible for the day to day management of the engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior systems engineer to step up to lead a team. The ideal candidate is likely to come from an electronics or hardware background with experience of designing and building control systems. Experience of writing software in a range of languages would be highly desirable.
Candidates should enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and relish the challenge of working on varied projects spanning a range of industries and should therefore be adaptable and flexible. I am a certified TestStand developer, and recently finished a cRIO based embedded system for a medical device company using LV RT and LV FPGA. Is a macbook pro advisable for system engineer to work and study with?

im going to study system engineer and i want to buy a new laptop for my career, so ive been thinking in a macbook pro, but i heard that its not advisable because in system engineer you need to download and work with advanced pogramms that cant be downloaded in mac os x.

A MacBook Pro is a fine computer, but it depends on the policy of the school you will be attending. Some schools say, "any computer will work fine" others say, "We use software that only runs on one kind of computer." So you really need to ask your school.
Engineering in general seems to be old-fashioned in the techniques and tools that they use. That they are getting anything new accomplished is sometimes astonishing. You will probably have four semesters of Calculus to learn before they let you do anything really interesting. And during that time, you will have English and History papers to write. Macs are very good for that work as well.
If you will be doing work in another Language as well as English, Macs can switch quickly between them, and surf the web and print in other languages really easily as well.
