Print a report with a long cross table

Hi experts,
I try to explain..XD
I have a large cross table, and when I print it, the report is cut on the write hand, because it's to large. Por example, the number 123.234.234 its part in :
frist page 123.23
second page 34234
There is a solution to put a "Page Return" exactly where I want? I want for example a "Page Return" between cell 5 and cell 6.
thanks a lot!

I have not seen a page break, but youbcan size the columns so it breaks where you want

  • Mimes in "Print Web Report with Excel"

    Hi all,
i am using the "How to.." Paper to implement the functionality for Printing Web Reports with Excel. I also Modify the Table during the rendering with the Modify Table Interface to set some mimes instead of inidcators in one column. The Export
into Excel Works Fine but after saving that Report in Excel, and reopen it i have
to confirm a Security Dialog / re-login . I think this is because of the mimes which refer to the WAS.
    Now my Question :
Is it possible to get a result ( Exported Report into Excel with MIMES ) and avoid
a re login. I mean, to export the Mimes also.
Many Thanks in advance for your Help.
    Best Regards
    Ali Touzlatzi

    Hi Prakash,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I looked for LRSR_XLS_EXPORTF01 under program, I found the program but when I clicked into it, it prompt "there is no object list for INCLUDEs"
We have the export as excel implemented for sure. Do you think someone changed the name, or this name cannot be changed. I am new to ABAP too, but I am a programmer. Can you guide me the best way to trace this program?
    Again, I appreciate you help.

  • How to Print a report with 50 columns. Crystal Reports

    Dear Experts,
I'm Using Crystal Reports 2008. I have a requirement that 50 columns should be placed in a  Single Report with single line . But Page size should be A4 ( While Printing).
With Page Size A4 I'm able to place 5 columns.
Is there any possibility to acheave this no matter if number of opages increases
I Appreciate for the help in this regard.
But I need to display all the 50 fields (columns) in a single report.
I Achieved this by changing horizontal width to 70.
I can Place all the fields in one line.
But my concern is to print this report in A4 Paper I think its horizontal width will be 11.  from crystal reports itself
I don't want to use cross tabs nor even use sql expression. Its just a simple display report for all the employees.
is there any simple way out to Achieve this by paging... or any other method.
Any help regarding this issue will be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi:
I'm not a expert in crystal report, but I would like help you,  i don't understand if must to show 50 diferrents fields in your report  or same field through 50 columns ?  for exemple:
first case: You ned diferents fields
    F1                F2                 F3                 ... F50
    item1  F1      Item1 F2         Item1 F3       Item F50
    item2  F1      Ite21 F2         Item2 F3       Item F50
In this case you must put the 50 fields in the report, just enough small to fit page
second case: You nedd the same field in 50 columns
    Colum 1      Colum2      Column 50
    item 0          item 11      item 490
    item 1          item 12      item 491
    item 2          item 13      item492
    item 10       item 20      item 500
inm this case i haven't idea how to make it (sorry)

i have the number of watermark copy in the table .
    pls give me the solution

Thank you for your helpful response.  What I am really asking is this -- when there is a CR2008 report based on db1, table1, and you want to use the SAME report with an identical table in a DIFFERENT database (db2, table1), can I easily use the same report?  Or, do I have to generate another version of the report?
    Thank you again.

  • Printing large report with Desktop - Scaling?

    Hello,
given is a report with many cols which should be printed on one sheet of paper.
I tried menu File --> Page Setup. There is a option "Scale", but it is greyed out. Why? Is it possible to scale the report in Discoverer Desktop?
    Thank you
    Tobias

This is similar to another thread I just commented on.
However, if the scale option is greyed out ...
I remember a few years ago I had this problem and the answer was that Oracle was not handling the actual printing of the document, but used the MS printer info (ie: your Printers setup).
What I did at the time was - once I found out the printer it was going to supported scaling (ie: can't remember the term for when a printer supports scaling, but is it something like PCL?).
Anyway, I simply installed the driver for this on the printer I was sending the output to - and voila' ... scaling worked.
So again, I think it's a printer thing so either redirect output to a printer that has the appropriate driver for scaling, or install the correct driver, etc. to the printer you're going to - again assuming the actual printer supports scaling.

  • Get Windows message "Terminate 5-1" after printing pdf reports with Orarrp

    Hi,
I get error message "Terminate 5-1" on clients machine after pdf report is printed with Orarrp.
The clients is Windows XP with acrobat reader 5.
I test on acrobat reader 6 and get the same result.
This occur for all pdf reports and all clients.
However this message just shows when perform printing, if I cancel printing from print dialog box then this message does not show.
How can I avoid this message?
    Thanks in advance
    Tawatchai R.
    ===================
    Hi,
I have same error message(Message Title: TerminateProcess Value; Message Body: 5-1) showing up when using Orarrp to print directly to printer on WEB using Oracle Forms. On my pc it shows when I have adobe acrobat reader opened up already and on others it may shows even if adobe acrobat is not already opened. However document gets printed but this is very annoying for the user to see this message.
    Client Environments:
    1. Windows XP, HP LaserJet 5P and HP LaserJet 4100 Series PCL, Adobe Acrobat 6.0
    2. Windows 2000 Professional, HP LaserJet 4000 Series PCL, Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and 6.0
    Thanks
    Kulwinder Sidhu

    Hi Kulwinder,
We are getting this problem whenever we go through the following steps:
    - Generate a PDF report without an ORARRP file extension on a dedicated reports server. Preview the report by opening in Adobe Reader using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT.
    - Generate a PDF report with a ORARRP file extension of rrpa on a dedicated reports server. Directly print the report without a print dialog box using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT to invoke ORARRP.
After printing the Terminate Process 5-1 message appears and Adobe is left running. If the first step is missed out then printing occurs without error and Adobe closes automatically.
Please could you give more information on how you solved the problem. I am using Windows XP and Adobe 7.
    Thanks,
    Pete

  • I Cannot print a report with windows XP

    Hi,
I am trying to print a report but it is imposible, after a while, I have to reset the PC.

Anybody know what should I do to print?

  • Printing a report with print sheets from the portal

It is my understanding that a print sheet uses a variant to make a connection between the variable settings set in the web portal and the variable / filtering settings that are used when printing a report. It is also my understanding that without a print sheet and variant that when a user prints a report from the portal that the printed report would not have the same filtering (variable settings) as what the user sees in the report. I have created a report and a print sheet that uses a variant, but when we view reports in the portal there is not a print icon... we can only print from the browser. Printing from the browser only prints what is on the screen, not a formatted report set up in the reporting agent. How do I print a report that uses a variant and a print sheet set up in the reporting agent to be available to print from the portal... i.e. display an icon to print the report? If you have a better or more detailed explanation of what a print sheet is and how to set it up, please include that as well.

The BW Reporting agent print settings is used for batch printing of BW reports not online printing from the web.
Currently there are no SAP delivered formatted reporting print functionality for BW. BI 7.0 will have formatted reporting and PDF export options.
SAP had recently released a How to Document on printing using MS Excel. See the attached link for the same.

  • Printing XML report (with report.xsl stylesheet) shows font colors, but not table highlight colors

I am trying to print the XML report generated by TestStand to a PDF in order to archive it.  When the XML report is rendered in Internet Explorer, everything looks fine -- Sequence names are highlighted in teal, Pass is in green, Fail is highlighted in red.
However, when I print this page to a PDF (using BullZip PDF printer, or even the XPS printer), all of the table highlighting is gone.  The UUT Result in the header is red or green font color depending on the pass/fail state, but sequence names and any formatting applied to tables within the body of the report have no highlighting.
Is the stylesheet altering what is rendered when the XML file is printed?
This is the output when viewed in IE
This is the output when viewed as a PDF printed from the same file viewed in IE.
    Thank you,
    Matt
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey Matt,
This is actually because of a default setting in Internet Explorer to not print background colors on webpages. To change it, simply go to the Page Setup screen (on IE9, you click the gear icon, then Print > Page Setup) and select the option to print background images and colors. After doing this, the printed report should contain the colors you see on your screen.

  • Time delay while printing PO Report with "watermark"

    Hi XMLP Gurus,
I have to again resort to you guys for help. Hope I will find it.
I have added a watermark to the PO Report RTF template and it is taking too much time (almost 3 mins) to print the output. With out a print option the report is running normally, but when I select the print option it is taking that much time.
If I take out the watermark and print the output it is taking normal time to print.
    Any idea what's going on?
    Thanks in advance

  • Print html report with waveform

I'm trying to make a report on my system using print from the File menu, and then saving the report as a html document. However, I don't seem to get the descriptions for waveforms in the report.
I've tried on both WIN-NT and WIN-2000 machines, but still no description.
Would also want to know if it is possible not to include descriptions of parts of clusters (such as waveforms or error clusters), but instead just include the description of the cluster itself.

    > Unfortunately, what you see in the Print window is all the options
    > available. You can print description for only the icon, for all
    > controls, or for connected controls. You cannot select to print
    > description of only few controls. However, I tested this and was able

    > You can suggest this additional feature if you go to ni.com, click on
    > "Contact NI" in the top right corner, and then select "feedback" under
    > Product Feedback.
In the meantime, you can use the report generation VIs to make a custom
report. Use a property node to read the description and add it wherever
    you like.

  • How to mass print a report with multiple queries?

    Dear All,
i want to precalclate a report (which includes 4 queries) to pdf for printing. Because i have to print it for all profitcenter (~200), i want to use the filter navigation.
Because this isn't possible for reports, i inserted my report using a report item to a web template.
When i call the web template direct, everything works fine, but if i precalculate the web template using the bex broadcaster, only one query is parameterized. The second one seems to use the global variant (the sum of all profitcenter).
Any Idea? Do i have to change an export web template and add some data provider? I am not absolutely sure which is the right export template for an report in a web template...
    Thanks in advance,
    Thomas

  • Sorting of columns in report with values from lookup table (LOV)

    Hi,
I have a report where I looku the values using a number of LOVs. I'd like to enable sorting on those columns in the report whihc works BUT the report get's sorted on the numric looku pvalue instead of the description for example COUNTRY_ID instead of COUNTRY_DESC.
I have played around with the function APEX_ITEM.ITEM_TET_FROM_LOV in my SQL query:
    select ID, NAME,
    APEX_ITEM.TEXT_FROM_LOV(COUNTRY_ID, 'COUNTRY_LOOKUP') COUNTRY,
    from VAR
But I get the following error:
    report error:
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 13:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "COLLECT" when expecting one of the following:
    := . ( @ % ;
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 82:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol ";" when expecting one of the following:
    . ( , % from
So I am thinking that I am doing something very wrong? Is there another way to accomplish this?
    Andy

you need to use htmldb_item.text_from_lov in your query.
this will then deocde the key value to the description within the query itself and therefore allow you to do your sorting.
