Print abap report
Hi folks,
I am getting abap display for my report which is also required as hard cpoy when I fire a printout for the same. But I need to increase the font size of the report. How can I achieve this

Go to Cutomize local layout (Right most icon from menu bar).
go to Option
go to Graphic
Change font here.

But my problem is that, there may be no of users will be accessing this report. user will not be having SAP GUI installed in his machine. He will be accessing Transaction IView after login in EP (from any where may be from cyber cafe) and He would like to take printout using any button on the screen.
So suppose any end user having only Internet Explorer installed in his machine, will he be able to take the print out. I think its very genuine requirement.
OR user can not take print out untill SAP GUI is installed in his machine???

Printing abap report from Transactional Iview
Hi All,
I have a abap report and i have created a transactional Iview to embed the report into Portal.
Now when i try to execute and print the report from portal end i am unable to print the report.
It opens another window saying please wait for the formatted data to be displayed in the window and please do not close the window and the download option comes at the top block bar. Aftter clicking on download file it promts to save the file . When saved and opned the file is corrupt and cannot be opened by adobe reader.

That is one way of putting and printing the picture. But my main question is when the picture is displayed in <b><u>PA20</u></b> or <b><u>PA30</u></b> how to extract that picture which is diplaying in the above transactions. I think I have put the question little clear.

Printing ABAP List(Report output - SE38) in A3 format
I have a requirement to print the ABAP report in A3 page format. I am using LP01 printer and in in SPAD transcation I Changed the Tab "Output Attributes"
Paper tray = "Paper tray 3" and Tab "Tray Info" Tray 3 = "DINA3" still the report gets print in A4 page format.
Even i tried by changing the lize size and line count...still .... it prints in A4 format only.
Could you let me know what exactly I need to in order to print my report output in A3 Page format.

I searched SDN for printing PDF file but everything is about OTF to PDF and to use fm: CONVERT_OTF which is not the solution for my problem.
I have to build ABAP report which will take the PDF file attached to SAP document (CV02N) and print it.So, which function module or program can I use to print the PDF file?

Abap report print logo or image in reverse order
Dear all,
Currently we are using sap enterprise 4.7 . in our abap report sap report and data is OK but log is print in reverse in HP LaserJet p255d and HP LaserJet p250 series PCL 6.
But same report in hp leaser jet 1320 run ok in SWIN driver.
I change the driverson output dvice in sap but result is same how can I update or install print driver that can be I see in SPAD --> output device --> device type

Printing problem in ABAP report
Hi All,
I have a ABAP report with line size 225 and line count 65. We are taking print out of the report on Dot matrix printer.
When taking the printouts, while going in to the 3rd page the logo on the top of the page is getting printed on the data and further going down as the pages are getting printed.
Please suggest how to control this so that the logo gets printed on top for every page.

Issue is not only with the file damaged.
My requirement is to place the PDF file in FTP folder using FTP_COMMAND, FTP_R3_TO_SERVER Function Modules.
I'm placing the PDF sucessfully in FTP Folder. When i try to open it's showing the "File cannot be opened because it's damaged....".
I'm not sure whether i'm placing the PDF file in correct way.

The Only way is that..
1 .You need to pass the necesary data to see the output... (WRITE_FORM)
2. To pass the data you need to open the form... (OPEN_FORM)
3. After all you need to close the form... (CLOSE_FORM)
If you follow these three you can call you sap script from anywhere,, example you can write these in FM's (SE37).
From interface programs as well...
but you need open, write, close the forms to run a Sap script.

Serious Performance Problems in ABAP Reports

We are developing ABAP reports for SAP IS-U/CCS Modules and facing Performance issues.Whole scenario is given below.Please suggest some solution.
1. Total No. Of Business Partners = 1500000
2. Reports Selection Criteria are of two types:
a) GSBER(Business Area) - Selection for atleast 200000 Business Partners
b) Cokey(Division) - Selection for around 1000 to 50000 Business Partners
3. For implementing our reports logic we have to access several tables all of which are very large.They are :

5. We have tried almost all ABAP Performance optimization techniques such as using Index, SQL optimization techniques,Read Table Optimization, Loop Statement Optimization etc. but there is not much improvement.
6. For example one of our Reports "R15" takes around 1500 seconds for 1000 Business Partners.
