Print an email attachment previously scanned as a jpeg

I scanned a document into images as a jpeg file.  Successfully sent as attachment.  Receiver said printed version was too blurry.  Don't understand why.  Help!

If you scanned the document at a resolution lower than 300dpi then it will look blurry when printed, even more so if they enlarged the print. Did you try printing the document yourself to see how it looked?
Note that increasing the resolution will increase the file size and may make it too large to send via email. So you may need to experiment with finding a resolution that prints okay but doesn't make the file very large.
Also, JPEG files use a lossy algorithm to reduce the file size. You could try scanning the document again, possibly at 300dpi and saving as a PNG. This is a lossless format and may help with getting resonable print quality.

Hi there, if there is text in the body of the email it will print automatically when sent to an ePrint email address. The only way to just have the attachment print is for there to be no text in the email body.
Hope that helps answer your question.

How do I print coupons from my device?First, make sure your device is connected to the same wireless network as your printer(s). Then, select a printer from the "Printers" menu in the More tab.
In the Coupons tab, "clip" coupons from the Coupons gallery. After you've finished clipping, select "View Cart" at the bottom of the screen and then "Print Coupons." Please note that at this time, Grocery iQ can only print to HP printers.
You Can Only Print To HP Printers ONLY. That's why your printer can not be found wirelessly.....  you will have to send it to your email and then print from there!

  • Printing from email attachment

Despite my printer being in excellent working order  (HP photosmart) when I try to print email attachments the print quality is very pale.  I have tried to save the attachment as a PDF file but the problem remains.  Please could you let me know what I am doing incorrectly?

Can you right-click the attachment and get the save option?

  • Pdf file increases when printing from email attachment

We are using Windows XP and acrobat 7.0 professional. We are receiving files with a PDF attachment which is only about 1 MB When we send to the printer it then says the file is now approx 36mb and therefore crashes the printer and we can't print the file. Some of these files have images others don't but have the same problem. We are receiving them from at least 2 different companies - unknown what system they are using. How can we get around this

Are you printing to a PCL or PostScript device? If you have a choice, try
both and see if one works. You also might try using the "Print as image"
feature from the advanced printing options.

  • Q: how can I get acrobat to print my email attachment?

I need someone to help me with acrobat to print something.

Thank you for your interest, and I appreciate your inquiring further, but I'm not sure this forum is going to be effective for my problem unfortunately.  Nevertheless, here's my situation:
    1. Recently McAfee was replaced by my server with Norton.  I believe when they uninstalled McAfee, they took my Adobe Acrobat with it.
    2.  I rec'd a "receipt" in my email (for a totally different and unrelated purchase) which I need to print.  I need Adobe Acrobat to do it.
    3.  I tried installing Adobe myself (severely techie-challenged) from adobe.com, and up came something about "purchasing" different types of Adobe Acrobat stuff. Nevertheless, I believe I did download Adobe, but I still can't print my receipt.
    4.  I really would like to speak with a customer svc rep and not handle this via this forum.  Again, I am flying in the dark here with trying to follow "simple" instructions about downloading, and of course, it was not successful.  I'd really appreciate speaking with a live human to handle this.  If there is an 800# I can call to connect with a techie who can help me solve this via telephone, I'd like to see it here.  (800-833-6687 led me to this forum).
    Thank you.

  • How can i print an email without the attached pictures printing as well?

I am trying to print an email that has pictures attached. I do not need the pictures to be printed.
The pictures are showing in the body of the email.
When I try to print it scales down the text to make two of the pictures fit on the first page.
How do I change this so I can print the text separately?

If the sender embedded the image instead of attaching it then you could try selecting only the text before printing That should print without the images. Thunderbird will only prints what is selected unless there is nothing selected. Then it prints all. You can test this with Print Preview.
If the image is truly an attachment, then go to the menu bar and select View and uncheck Display Attachments Inline.
No menu bar? Press the alt key.

  • How can i print an email without printing the attachment?

I just got my new macbook pro retina display.  I am using Mac mail and want to know how I can print an email without printing the attachement.  Any suggestions and solutions would be appreciated.

Thank you for your suggestion.  But when I receive an email that has an attachment (shown by paperclip symbol) The email opens and shows the attachment(jpg picture) at the end of the email so when I go to print - the email pops up with the picture already opened inside the body of the email.  Can not figure out why this happens in mac mail.  when i used outlook in windows only email would show.  in order to see attachment you had to click on paperclip and only then would the attachment (picture apprear).
Any other suggestions that I may could try would be appreciated. Thank you!  Gabriela

  • I can no longer attach pdf scans to my emails.   It has all changed.    How do I do it now please.

I have always attached pdf scans to my emails veyr easily.   Now having been away for five weeks things have changed and I can  no longer do it.   Please help me to find a new way to do this.   I have scanned a document and can open it but cannot attach it what is wrong?.

You really need to provide some details...
    what is your operating system?
    what is your email client?
what is your Adobe Reader version?
    what means "can not" (or "no longer");
how do you try attaching the file?
    what happens when you try?
also, how large is your scanned document?

  • Hp 200 wireless printer does not print the shared attachment only body of the email

In the past I have been able to share an email with the printer and the attachment was printed. Suddenly only the body of the email prints but no attachment. Would also like to know whether one can suppress the printing of the body of the email and print only the attachment. Don't want to waste paper.

Thanks for that additional information @Karl3.
I have a few suggestions that may resolve your ePrint issue.  It is possible to print attachments using the ePrint via email method, but results may vary.  At times, the formatting of an attachment is lost when using this method or at worst, it will not print.
As it's clear your PDF document is not printing using this approach, I recommend downloading and installing the HP ePrint app - click here to do so.
You'll see that it's geared towards Android users, however, if your Blackberry Z10's software is up-to-date, this app should work for you.  Once installed, you'll be able to launch the ePrint app and print directly from files and documents saved to your device.  With this interface you have greater control over what comes out of the printer.
With respect to your query about eliminating the extra pages that result from your phone's email signature, click here for instructions on how to turn off your email signature.  If you swipe Auto Signature off as indicated in Blackberry's forum, this should ideally stop the undesired signature page from accompanying all ePrint attachment jobs.  If the ePrint app doesn't work out for you, see if printing with the signature off yields a better result.  Keep in mind when you're sending ePrint jobs to your printer via email that you need to have something in the subject line.
Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  Best of luck!

  • How to print email attachment?

How to print email attachment on iPhone 5?

    Hi FelixC,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you would prefer only the attachment to the email prints when sending an email to your printer’s ePrint email address.
My recommendation would be to forward the email with a subject line but have the body of the email blank. That would allow for the attachment to be the only thing printed as the subject line is not printed whether there is content in the body of the email or not.
