  • Canceling Apps on ePrint Center

Do you have an App on your printer that you find less than stellar? Tired of seeing it on the panel as a selection? Do you want to be rid of it so you can focus on the apps that you like? It is now easier than ever to cancel an app!
To cancel apps on ePrint Center (EPC):
Log in to EPC and then scroll down the page, there should be a section called “My Print Apps”.  There you should see all your apps listed with their icons.
Hover over the one you want to remove it should highlight that App and in the upper right corner in red letters the word “Remove” should appear along with a red “X”.
Click that X and that takes you to another page where you can then see a larger picture of the app and a little description of that app. Under that blurb, you should see a green check mark and a little grey buttons one of those buttons is labeled “Remove”.
Click that button and it will remove it and then offer the option with a blue button labeled “Add to Printer” if you would want to add it back. Once you see that Blue button, you have removed the app.  This process works on scheduled delivery apps too.

    Hi deftroadrunner3.
Under "Managing Scheduled Delivery Print Apps" you can use "Cancel and remove a Scheduled Delivery Print App" to actually stop the coupons from printing.

If you wish to disable the whole ePrint system, you can simply remove web services.
The instructions are in this following document in the section "What if I lose my printer code before registering my printer?" up until step 7.

  • Can't remove print app

My wife accidentally subscribed to the print app, Games and Puzzles Daily. I tried to remove it at eprintcenter.com and it no longer shows there, or on the printer list of apps. Yet it continues to print daily if I have the printer on. How can I fix this?

    Hi Barry,
If the app no longer appears on the HP ePrint Center, simply re-add the Games and Puzzles Daily app, then suspend or disable it and remove it once again.
Once you re-add the app back to the HP ePrint Center, follow the exact steps listed under Managing Scheduled Delivery Print Apps > Cancel and remove a Scheduled Delivery Print App below:

  • How do i install print apps?

after a few days of searching for errors i finaly get my confirmation email from eprintcenter,
so after i have register it i came on another problem. I cant install any apps on my Printer.
In eprint center it says to me: This site can not handle apps to print to your printers.
it want me to install apps from my printer GET MORE buton in my display.
when i press on it it connects to internet and it comes a text that says that i already
have all avaible apps on my printer, I only have the SnapFish app.
so my question is: does my printer only support Snapfish

Ahh well that's no good . Are you using ePrint yet? I know you said you've registered, but have you given your e-mail address out? The reason I ask is because the next thing I'd like to suggest will reset your email address. However if you are using it we can try to work around that solution until it's necessary.

  • Printing using the ePrint Center...can't possibly be this limited?

Hi, I've just installed an Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One and am trying to get the ePrint Center to work...
Any image files I email are rejected by my printer. It spits out a blank page and then tells me the paper size is wrong, with no other option but to cancel the whole job.
I see you can only send images above 100dpi - which is kind of dumb as most images you pull off the web are 72dpi and there's a 5mb limit so you can't print many 300dpi images either but hey - but when it says you can only print to 4x6, does that mean it won't print out on A4 at all?
Surely this can't be right? That I'd have to - in advance - replace the A4 paper with 4x6 photo paper before I leave the house, just in case I want to print an image while I'm out by email is weird enough...rather negating the convenience of the whole shabang...but I'd have to print only 4x6 images that happen to be above 100dpi? What if the image is bigger than 4x6?
    I've got this wrong haven't I? Surely?
    Matt x
PS I've got the mobile app which is peachy but my iphone doesn't swap files with PCs very easily <understatement> so that won't help with printing files off my netbook.

    Hi mattinkent,
You can use the HP ePrint Home & Biz app found HERE. This app will allow you to change the paper size on the fly, so you can print the photo on A4, bypassing the need to preload the 4x6.
First, you'll want to create an ePrint account HERE. Then, enable ePrint on your printer and register the printer with your ePrint account. Click HERE for guide on setting up ePrint on your printer.
Lastly, you'll want to add the printer to your HP ePrint Home & Biz app.
Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

  • Cannot log in and change reset my print apps options, tried resetting password - didn't work.

I have two printers that I registed online and used one email to add each printer too. Now I cannot log in. I reset the password and that didn't work. It looks like HP has so many websites that it is SO confusing. I just want my app management page and can't get in. Any ideas?

I will need a little more information in order to assist with this problem.
Are you going to http://www.eprintcenter.com? When was the last time you have successfully logged into ePrint Center? Are you getting a Ajax error code at the website? When you request to reset the password  at the above mentioned site it should send you an email that has a link that once you click on it takes you into the website to do that password reset.

  • Removing printer apps

Purchased a new HP 7520 and ended up with a lot of apps because I thought they would be useful.  The one app I really want isn't showing up but it shows up when I log into the app center.  I have been trying to remove some of the apps (I know some of them you can't remove), but have had no luck in figuring out how.  One place it tells me to go the the hpconnect, click on devices and remove that way.  They don't even show up when I go there.  Another place says I need to go to the eprint center and again, nothing.   So I'm lost.  Is there a way to remove them by using my computer or do I have to remove them right from the control panel - haven't figured out how to do either.  I'm not computer saavy so if you have an answer, can you be detailed?  Thanks so much for your help.

    Hi,
One simple method is to disable the Web Services from the printer screen by clicking the Web Services icon, selecting settings and then Disable Web Services. then re-enable it by clicking the Web Services icon once again and following the steps to register the service. any scheduled delivery print app will be canceled.. consider however that you will need to select a different ePrint mail address for your printer..
As well you may follow these steps to cancel or suspend a scheduled delivery print app:

  • How do I add/remove print apps on my printer?

The way you add apps to your printer varies depending on the model.
    I. On the following printers, use the "Get More" icon on the device to add additional print apps directly on the device:  When you select the "Get More" icon on your printer front panel display, you will see a list of available apps for your pinter, and you can select and add apps to your printer from there:
    HP Photosmart c309n-s
    HP Photosmart Premium C310 series
HP Photosmart eAll-in-One Printer D410 series
To remove apps on these printers, select the "Get More" icon, and then select the "Manage Apps" button (at the top-left of the Touchsmart Web Apps" screen that appears).  That will open the "Manage My Favorites" screen where you can remove apps by selecting the "X" on the app icons.
Any configuration required for print apps (e.g., entering Zip Code) on these devices will be prompted for when you run the print app.
II. On the HP eStation (with the removable tablet display).
Add apps: Select the tab (with the upwards arrow on it) at the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer.  Then select the Add Apps option at the bottom of the screen to view available print apps.
Delete apps: Select the tab (with the upwards arrow on it) at the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer.  Scroll down to display the Print Apps section.  Select the Delete option and then select the app you wish to delete.
III. On other web-connected printers, if you select the "Get More" icon it will provide you the web site address for HP ePrintCenter - www.hpeprintcenter.com.  You go there to add new apps, view apps on your printer, and setup/remove apps from your printer.
For those devices, to add more print apps:
Go to www.hpeprintcenter.com and log into your account.  If you don't have an account yet, create an account and add your printer.  Information on doing that can be found here:  http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/ePrint-Print-Apps-Mobile/Add-your-printer-to-your-HP-ePrintCenter-accou...
Select the "Get More Print Apps" link in the Print Apps section (below the ePrint section).
Select the icon of the print app you want to install, and then on the print app detail page select the "Add to Printer" button.  If the print app requires setup, after adding it you will see a "Setup" button which you should select to configure the print app so it is ready to use.
To remove apps on these printers, select the "My Apps" link to display the apps installed on your device.  Hold your mouse over the print app you would like to remove and a red X will appear, select the red X to remove the app.
As soon as you add or remove the print app from the HP ePrintCenter it will be removed/added on your printer...select the "Apps" icon to see all currently installed apps on your printer.
Note:  Not all print apps are supported on all printers, and apps may be limited to cetain countries or languages.  If you don't see a print app you are looking for when you access the "Get More Print Apps" link, that app is not currently available for your printer.  We are regularly working on creating new apps and extend the printers on which existing apps are available, and you will see a star notification icons on the Get More icon on your printer when new apps are available.

  • Officejet pro 8000 and HP Home & Biz print app

I have an Officejet Pro 8000 wireless that, according to HP's list, is compatible with the HP Home & Biz print app for the iPad 2.  However, the app does not find any printers on the wifi network.  I am running Win 7 and the printer is shared and works fine with printing wirelessly from the computer.  I followed the steps in the app to auto find any printer connected to the wifi, but it does not find anything at all.  The way I understand the app, it allows non-eprint capable printers to print using the app.  Am I missing something?

    Hi,
As you have mentioned the printer is shared from Windows 7, is the printer connected to the PC by USB?
In order to use the HP ePrint Home & Biz, the printer must be connected to your router by ethernet cable and then the up should detect it.
Please make sure both the iPad and the printer connected to your network.
Follow the steps below to access the printer EWS page:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01554589&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3762364&tmp...
Once locating the printer IP address, type it into Safari.
    Can you access the page?

  • Disable all print apps, but still print thru email

On my new HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One printer, I want to disable all print apps, but not all web services: I still want to keep the ability to print photos and other files from all my devices thru email, as well as on my wireless LAN at home.
Is there a way to do this without removing every print app individually?

    Hi,
That can be done by removing each app indicidualy as listed below:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02940901&tmp_task=setupCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc...
Other thean that, the only option to disable any of the print apps is to disable and re-enable the Web Services for your printer, however be aware that by performing a such you will need to select a different ePrint email address for your device as the current one will be locked for 6 months and will not be able to be used due to security reasons.

  • Why has my b210 stopped printing apps. emails and other ok.

i just bought a photosmart b210 and it worked fine. having lots of fun printing stuff off the apps etc. sent an email incl pics and they were fine. now it wont print apps anymore - takes ages and then just goes back to the main menu page. it print from word still. any ideas?
Well - just to update, I finally got it to print but the eprint centre keeps telling me it is not connected when it is and I cant find a way to try to reconnect it. any clues at all??

    Hello hilaryp2,
I am sorry that you are having this issue with printing from apps!  Based on your post there are a couple of reasons why this could be happening.
Your Internet Service Provider could be busy or updating servers.
The specific app may be receiving updates.
The ePrint servers could be receiving updates.
The router could be faulty or malfunctioning.
The printer itself could be malfunctioning.
It is not common for it to be the last two reasons in the list since ePrint and apps have been working fine.
It is more common that one of the services are being updated or upgraded.  Here are some generic suggestions to help resolve your issue.  Try the desired print action after each step has been taken.
You can power cycle the unit.  (Unplug the unit from the back and the power source for 30secs then plug then printer back in and power on)
Wait for 2-4 hours for services to be updated or upgraded.
Reset network defaults on the printer. (Not Factory Defaults)  This will cause you to reconnect the printer to the network again using the Wireless Setup Wizard.
If these steps do not resolve the issue please post again with further details.  I will be glad to assist you further if necessary.  Thanks!
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!
