Print back to front on hp envy5530 printer

When I print out recipe's  last pages print first so I get several pages of comments. How do I get printer to print recipe only ?

Hi,
go to print preferences and select page order as front to back.
and when you print on the print window  (print all pages) enter 1 and it will just print the first page
Hope this helps

  • Does the hp psc 1210v all-in-one have the ability to print back to front?

My hp psc 1210v all-in-one is still working and it is driving me crazy that this printer doesn't have the ability to print back to front. I am also upset that there is no software to print double sided like with the newer hp printers.
Is it just me or would this printer be perfect if it had these features?
    This question was solved.

Printing back to front is actually a feature of the software you are using.  You can do this in Word on your printer now.  This link will go into more detail: "Printing Back to Front."
Lastly, two-sided printing is an accessory part that you put on the back of the printer to make it turn (called a duplexer). Once again, not a feature that can be added to a driver, or this printer for that matter.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but on the plus side, at the HP Parts Store, there are enough parts for this printer, you could keep it running for decades.
I am glad you like it.

  • I have a deskjet D1420 and officejet pro L7780 neither print back to front

I have a HP deskjet D1420 and a HP Officejet Pro L7780 and neither one will print the pages from the back to the front.  The option to print back to front has been selected on both printers.
i.e. printing 2 pages and the last page prints first followed by the first page
Any help in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Please read this post then provide some details.  What operating system?
I do not think the D1420 has an automatic duplexer, but the L7780 should be able to be configured for this.  See the Vista/Windows 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide here.

  • How do I print back to front?

how do I print back to front?  My print jobs come out printing page 1 first so I have to shuffle the papers to get them in the right order.

You will need to contact the printer manufacturer customer support and/or read the manual that came w/your printer.
It would also help if you would advise us of which printer & model that you have.  Not all printers prints and/or scan the same way.

  • How to print back to front

  • Printing issues i'm not able to change the print order it always prints back to front.

I have an HP Pavilion  model p6112p. Operating System is Vista Home Premium 64-bit, with an HP Deskjet Printer Model 6980.
The issue is I am unable to change the printing order of multiple page printing, they print from back to front on everything that I print, even my Quicken Checks, print back to front. I am unable to resolve this issue. HELP!!!!

I changed the code a bit. I removed the graph and replaced it by a value, the same error occured.
    How to reproduce:
    1) Exit LabVIEW completely (VERY IMPORTANT)
    2) Open and run the attached VI
    3) change the value of the 'value'-control to eg. 2.2 by typing in the value.
    4) press on the print button
    5) try to change the value of the 'value'-control to eg. 5.0 by typing in the value. This is NOT possible.
Changing the value with the arrows is possible.
    6) stop the VI.
    7) restart and no problem will occure.
    8) Completely exit LV, restart the VI (and LV), the same error appears again after having printing the front panel.
I notice this only with LV 6.0.2. With LV 6.1 it seems to work fine.

  • Margins not lining up when printing back and front of an image

How can I get multiple images on 1 page to line up when printing on both sides?
Dimensions are 3.5x2.5, 9 to a page. They are sportscards for son's baseball team.
They are slightly off by 2-3 cm on all 4 sides and in betweeen. Extremely frustrating. I tried printing in Photoshops but text is blurry. In Lightroom, Images look absolutely perfect. If they would only line up. Please help! Using a Canon MG 6200 if that matters.

You should be able to change you printer's settings outside of applicaitons such as Lightroom. If you are unsure how to do this, you will need to contact your printer manufacturer for instructions.
As for compensating in Lightroom, Victoria means changing the settings within Lightroom so that they are "incorrect" to make up for the fact that you are not getting the expected results.

  • Officejet pro 8100 does not print pages in "back to front" sequence

officejet pro 8100: I cant make it print pages in the sequence last page to first page even tho I have set the default printer preferences to "print back to front"  AND  I have specified "back to front" for the particular print job.
I am using this 8100 as a WIRELESS printer.
    Yesterday it worked OK.:
I did NOT turn the printer off over night.
Today it will only print in first-to-last-page sequence.
    I have tried the following:
turned printer off; and then on.
    rebooted windows 8.1.
    rebooted the router.
confirmed that it WILL print in first-to-last-page sequence for each test.
My test document has 4 pages.

Hi John , I hope you had a good weekend!
    I just want to verify:
When you print an 8 page document FRONT TO BACK page 1 comes out on top.
When you print an 8 page document BACK TO FRONT page 8 comes out on top.
    Is that correct?
    Thanks!

  • Printing Problem: Acrobat Reader XI is only printing booklet style.

I have hundreds of pdfs and when I opent them to print, it prints like a booklet. It is not happening with any other documents (from word, excel, google, etc) The print dialog box shows it printing 8.5 X 11 portrait, no scaling. I've checked every setting including the "advanced settings.' Any ideas?

I arrived here looking for a solution!  And while reading your post the penny dropped that I didn't have a serious problem.  I have a booklet of 112 pages and all I needed to do was re-order the pages as printed so that 1 is followed by a sheet with 2 on the under-face but same side and so on.  The pages had printed back to front and needed flipping.  But then I have a duplex printer and maybe that makes a difference.  Is it to do with your manual duplexing and the order that the second pass is presented to the printer.  As my duplex sheets effectively needed flipping over each one I'm wondering if you can solve your problem with a little experimentation and re-ordering before your second pass.

    <b>Print mode is D</b>
With Print mode, you can specify single- or double-sided printing for a page. You can choose from the following values:
<b>D </b>The page is printed on the first side of a sheet in duplex mode. If another mode was previously active, then the printer is switched to duplex mode with the start of the pageand continues in this mode.
and other Print mode options are
    <b>Print mode</b>
With Print mode, you can specify single- or double-sided printing for a page. You can choose from the following values:
<b>' '</b> Currently active printing mode continues unchanged.
<b>S </b>The page is printed in simplex mode. That is, the printer should print on only one side of the paper. If another mode was previously active, then the printer is switched to simplex mode with the start of the page.
<b>D</b> The page is printed on the first side of a sheet in duplex mode. If another mode was previously active, then the printer is switched to duplex mode with the start of the pageand continues in this mode.
<b>T </b>The page is printed on the first side of a sheet in tumble duplex mode. That is, the printer prints on both sides. The page on the second side is always inverted, so that the footer of the second page is printed opposite the header of the first page.
If another mode was previously active, then the printer is switched to tumble duplex mode with the start of the page and continues printing in this mode.
Print modes are currently supported for printers that use the PCL-5 language. These are printers that are defined with the following SAP device types: HPLJ_II, HPLJIIID, HPLJ4, LX4039, SNI20XX8.
See the spool system (transaction SPAD) to check on how your printers are defined.
The print controls for these functions are SPMSI (begin simplex printing); SPMDU (begin duplex printing); SPMTU (begin tumble duplex printing); SPMFS (print on first side of sheet in duplex or tumble duplex mode); and SPMBS (print on second side of sheet in duplex or tumble duplex mode).
