Print Barcode on Marketing Document SAP Business One
Hi Everyone,
This is my case:
I can print barcode from Crystal Report without problem, the RPT File is a Datasource from Invoice Document (Marketing Document), I do upload to SAP Business One this rpt file but don't print correcty barcode.
On Crystal Report function very good but on SAP Business One don't function...
On Rpt File I use a font 3 of 9, this font is install on folder fonts of Windows System Folders, too I can print correcty on Zebra print.
Someone know how print correctly from SAP Business One BarCode?

Incorrect font when print a crystal report in SAP Business One
I design a report in Business Object basic edition 2008 and work without problems with the business object application. But if I use the crystal report integration in SAP Business One screens the report print the information with a wrong font, do not use the utility font used in the report configuration. I need help in this !!!!!

SAP Business One 32 Bit Client freezing when printing?
Hi Everyone,
I am experiencing an issue with printing on a SAP Business One 32 Bit Client. The client is installed onto a Windows 7 (x64) Professional computer, and the business I work for uses the version of Business One shown below -
The issue that is being experienced is as follows - assuming that an appropriate (printable) document is loaded, e.g.: a Delivery Note, then selecting File (menu) > Print:
20 second delay to 'load' the printer selection dialog, then after clicking on OK (to print)
30 second delay until 'paper is printed', during which time the SAP Business One User Interface freezes!
I have identified that this issue only occurs with SAP, e.g.: printing of Word documents, PDFs, emails, etc responds in the expected amount of time (and none of the a fore mentioned programs experiences any freezing with their User Interfaces).
In order to remedy this I first downloaded and installed the newest printer driver for the printer, however when no improvement was noticed I made the decision to uninstall and then re-install Business One. In doing so I followed the method outlined below -
Even after performing all of the above I have seen no improvement in printing or program responsiveness. If you have experienced this issue, and you know a fix can you please contribute to this forum thread?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Remove or Hiding Marketing Documents from SAP Business One.
Hi Everyone,
Is there any way by which a marketing document in SAP Business One can be deleted or be hidden. For example in a Sales A/R module the the client does not want to use or also view the AR downpayment request or AR down payment invoice as it is not required for his business. What is the way to hide or remove it from the user point also during authorization.
I am also seeing that when in the user autorization I am giving full authorization for e.g in Purchase A/P Module - Purchase Order and Good Reciept PO only and when logging in by that assigned user I am only seeing the Purchase Order and Good Reciept PO that's absolutely fine but when I am going in Form Settings and and selecting visible for all the modules then all the marketing documents are coming back which should not come. Is there any way to block the form settings in this moment and when using the tab apply authorization in forms settings the defined authorized documents are comming but if one again clicks on form settings and make all the marketing document visible then again all the marketing documents are comming back which I don't want.
Please let me know your valuable comments in this regard.

Solution
As of SAP Business One 2005 A SP01, it is possible to update the data of specific fields after the documents are added, under certain conditions, listed below.
- This solution is available for Italy, Japan, UK, US, Spain, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
1. Due Date
If the documents listed below are fully opened, that is, the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target documents, or were not fully or partially paid, you can change their due date:
o A/R Invoice & A/P Invoice
o A/R Down Payment Request & A/P Down Payment Request
o A/R Down Payment Invoice & A/P Down Payment Invoice
o A/R Reserve Invoice & A/P Reserve Invoice
o A/R Credit Memo & A/P Credit Memo
Additional Information:
Installments:
- In the case of one installment only, if you change the due date in the document header, the due date of the installment is updated accordingly. The opposite also occurs; if you change the due date of the installment, the due date in the document header is updated accordingly.
- In the case of more than one installment, you can change the due date of each installment, but only a change in the due date of the latest installment updates the due date in the document header accordingly.
- There is no option to change the number of installments.
Journal Entries:
- If you change the due date of a journal entry created by a document, the due date of the respective document is not updated.
- If you change the due date of document or installment, the due date of the respective row in the journal entry created by that document/installment is updated accordingly.
2. Payment Method
If the documents listed below are fully opened, that is; the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target documents, or were notfully or partially paid, you can change their Payment Method:
o A/R Invoice & A/P Invoice
o A/R Down Payment Request & A/P Down Payment Request
o A/R Down Payment Invoice & A/P Down Payment Invoice
o A/R Reserve Invoice & A/P Reserve Invoice
o A/R Credit Memo & A/P Credit Memo
o Delivery & Goods Receipt PO
o Return & Goods Return
3. Sales Employee/Buyer
You can change the sales employee or buyer data for all the documents listed in section #2 at any time (including after the document is closed), at both document and row level.
If the change is done at the document level, a message asking the user whether to apply the change on the rows appears.
4. Owner
You can change the owner of all the documents listed in section #2 at any time (including after the document is closed), at both document and row level.
If the change is at the document level, the row owner is automatically updated accordingly.
5. Pay To/Bill To
You can change the Pay To or Bill To data for all the documents listed in section #2, only if the documents are fully opened. That is; the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target document, or were not fully or partially paid.
6. Payment Terms
You can change the payment term of Delivery, Goods Receipt POs, Return, and Goods Return only if the documents are fully opened. That is; the documents were not fully or partially drawn to a target documents.
7. Text Rows
You can modify the text of existing text rows in all of the documents listed in section #2, at any time (including after the document is closed). However, you cannot add new text rows or delete existing ones.
8. Printing
If you make one or more of the above mentioned changes after the document is printed, the next printout, which takes place after the change, reflects the changes and includes the title "Amended".
- Note that only print layouts that save the printing information, indicating whether or not the document was printed, include the title "Amended".
9. Change Log
All the changes described above are documented in the Change Log window.
10. Authorizations
Only authorized users can submit the changes described above. For this purpose the following authorizations are added to the Authorizations window:
o Modify Posted A/R Documents - to enable changing sales documents. Located under Sales - A/R authorization entry.
o Modify Posted A/P Documents - to enable changing purchasing documents. Located under Purchasing A/P -> Purchase Order. -
Print layout design - SAP Business one 2005 B
I am designing print layout for a sale invoice
in SAP Business one.
My question is
1. How to display excise information like
Excise duty rate,Excise duty Amount &
Education cess rate, Edu.Cess Amount
Sales tax rate,Sales tax Amount for a AR invoice
in print layout design?
I have found out respecive table & field, In this
case(AR Invoice),
Table name - <b>INV4</b>
Field Name - <b>Tax Rate,Tax Amount</b>
When i am connecting respective table & field
through database field in print layout design,
It is retreving only one row only.
For example (Below is database table)
Document key .......Tax Rate .....Tax Amount.......
1 2% Rs.20
1 16% Rs.100
1 4% Rs.40
Document key is <b>Invoice #</b>.
Tax rate - 2% & Tax Amount - Rs 20 only(ie) is
first row only.
In print layout i can't retreive &

If redo A/R Invoice then We loss a lot of time (Our A/R Invoice have about 500 rows).
Do you have other way to modify A/R Invoice and Link to Sales Order when created mistake.
I think the SAP B1 have Add-ons for this matter. But I do not kown.

Export Excel Documents from SAP Business One
Hello Guys,
I have been having a problem with one of our customers regarding the export of documents from SAP Business One to Excel, Whenever a user tries to export a list to Excell SBO first exports it to a txt file. I found a thread where some of you had recommended to follow the steps of this procedure in order to allow the system to export the file directly into Excel:
1. On your desktop go To: "Start -> Programs -> Microsoft Office ->
Microsof Excel
2. In Excel go to:"Tools #> Options #> General" Tab.
3. De-select the tick-box "Ignore Other Applications"
In order to de-select the "Portection from Macro Viruses"
1. In Excel go to:"Tools -> Macro -> Security"
2. Set the security level to "Medium".
Change path from 'Local' to 'Server'
1. Define the path:
a) Choose "Administration"
b) Choose "System Initialization"
c) Choose "General Settings"
d) Select the "Path" tab
e) Define a path for the Excel folder by using the Browse (...)
option
Press 'Export to Excel' to open the 'AutoOpen.xls
Make sure you change / remove the 'Local;=True' Statement accordingly,
meaning:
Excel is Starting from the server: remove the statement.
Excel is Starting from the client: add the statement.
The Excel folder should be located in a shared Folder in the server and
it should contain the "AutoOpen.xls" file.
I followed all the steps up until the step where it tells me to press "Export to Excel" to open the "AutoOpen.xls" ( I believe it refers to the Excel Export Command) however when I click the icon it does not open the 'AutoOpen.xls. Does anybody know what the problem might be?? ( I checked the AutoOpen.xls" file and it does exist in the excel folder located in the shaerd folder)

Test with this and see what is your result ..make sure you are exporting with folder with Sharing folder B1_SHR .

Batch Printing Of Invoices from SAP Business One
Hi,
I am having trouble batch printing invoices from SAP business one. The issue is with only one printer, on all other printer it works fine.
Everytime we try to print on this printer(HP) it prints the first invoice and prints following error on the
next page.

4.Click OK, and Exit.

Mobile Work-Station for SAP Business One
Hello Everyone
As I am aware that most of you have seen already various mobile solutions that integrate to SAP B1, Amodat Mobile Work-Station is currently the only solution that offers a complete mobile work-station for the four main field functions of SAP Business one: sales/van-sales, service, CRM and warehouse management on PDAs and laptops in on-line/off-line environment.
We refer to those solutions as workstations, since they provide a COMPLETE working functionality for corporate users in the field with features such as full order, collection and distribution management (including invoicing and supporting multiple price lists), on the go inventory management, service calls dispatch optimization tools, document attachments to accounts and activities, GPS location and much more.

Yes I know you can select u2018OKu2019 and move on with the entering of a marketing document, however this is an extra click and when you are entering a large number of documents a day this can become painfully and that is the feedback from the customers, is there a reason why this could not be an option in the company settings? I know this will not happen overnight and this is why I posted the question of the development collaboration forum.

SAP Business One 8.8 System Messages
In SAP Business One 8.8 when you have entered a document with a later posting then today if you then enter a document with todayu2019s date you receive the System Message "There is a document of this type with a later posting date". If you select the option 'Block Documents with eelier posting date' you know longer receive this message however we still need to the option to do this.
