Print Check Signature from Printer Flash Card

Dear all,
I need to print the signature from the Flash Card on the printer. They won't allow me to upload graphic into SAP system because of security reason.
How can I find an escape sequence and a character sequence for a print control from HP printer (4350tn)?
And please provide me an example of SAPscript code to print the signature.
Thanks very much,
Chaiphon Pulnitiporn

First you will have to fin the correct sequence of characters which, when send to printer, print the signature.
Then call transaction SPAD Spool Administration) to display Spool Administration: Initial Screen. Then click the Full Administration button. Select the Device Types tab and select the printer that will be printing the signature (HPLJ4, for example).
Select the green check mark after entry of the Device Type to display the Spool Administration: Device Type screen, then click on the Print Controls tab.
The Print Controls page displays a list of defined print control sequences, each identified by a name. You can create new sequences or modify existing sequences. Let's create a control sequence named <your instruction here>  to define the prefix that will print the signature:
- Escape Code (hex 1B) usually at the beggining
- The code for printing the signature
- An upper case X to mark the end of the command (hex 58) usually
So by calling the new instruction you will print the signature:
- simple ABAP - <i>PRINT-CONTROL FUNCTION `<your instruction here>'</i>
-SAPSCRIPT : <i>/: PRINT-CONTROL <your instruction here></i>
If you have many signatures, maybe there will a part variable, so you will need two instructions : before and after to use before and after the id of the signature.
If all printer of the same type don't have flash cards, you have to duplicate the device type and update the copy, then assign the new type to the correct printers.

  • How can I transfer contacts from a flash card to my iPhone 5s?

How can I transfer contacts from a flash card to my iPhone 5s?

I figured it out! I copied the VCF files to my Contacts app on my iMac and all my contacts refreshed automatically via the Apple iCloud! Hope this helps some people out there! Good Luck!

  • Lightroom 5 upgrade killed my workflow. What options are left for importing by reference from a flash card?

I just upgraded from Lightroom 1 to Lightroom 5.
I no longer see the option ~"Import from disk"
The application just magically decides what I am importing from.
Unfortunately, this used to be my workaround for keeping my workflow streamlined.
The import from disc option would allow me to import my flash card by reference
into a temporary catalog that would be active only until a full flash card
was archived. This temporarily catalog was used to delete rejects from my
flash card in a Lightroom-leveraged fashion. Once the latest photo update
on the card was clean, I would import by copy into a permanent catalog.
    This meant:
-Always two copies of images once I got back to base
-Ability to leverage develop tools in determining rejects
-No having to make a list of rejects and then deleting them separately
on the camera or through the OS
I see no way to do this with Lightroom 5 and Mac OS X.
I understand the problem might be coming from the OS change that happened
at the same time, but since ~"import from disk" is no longer in the menu, I am
suspecting the change is from the application itself.
I could probably find out the answer to my question through a bunch of experimenting,
but I thought I would float the question in an attempt to save time.
I'm not sure if I can run two versions of Lightroom at the same time on a Mac OS X
machine, but If I can, is this the only way to maintain my workflow?

"we have serious concerns about customers accidentally importing referenced files from a card that is subsequently reformatted in the camera"
I understand. So bury the option under the, "Only use if you really know what you are doing. You could destroy everything." heading, Or even as an external file of settings for people who know what they are doing. The point is this has forced me to take a step backward in my workflow which was already a workaround from what I really wanted. Ideally I have wanted all along:
-Import from flash card to main catalog by copy *and* a special-use link back to the flash card file for each image in the catalog
-When deleting rejected photos from the catalog, I would have a third option to delete rejected photos from the flash card.
This way, I avoid not only the new problems created by the Lightroom 5 upgrade, but I would be reducing my imports from two to one. With a slow USB connection, there were advantages in only importing by reference on the first import, but since things tend to run faster these days, I think I would come out ahead overall now.

  • Can't download photos from Compact Flash card

I have a H530S. It has a 7in1 card reader but I have a SanDisk Ultra Compact Flash4GB card which doesn't fit in the card reader. I also have a USB Card Reader / Writer which I've plugged in but nothing happens. It is a iVAVA CRV900.
Please can someone tell me how I can download my photos from this type of card? It used to fit in my old Dell computer, so this is rather annoying that it now not so easy. I had presumed that the super-duper 7 in 1 card reader would at least have a slot that my Compact Flash card would fit in to as it is a common type card used in Canon SLR cameras.
    MTIA.
    Solved!

Is anyone going to help me with this please? I've rung tech support and left a message for them to call me and no-one has called and I've emailed them as well and had no reply.

  • Import doesn't work from compact flash card

Trying to import photos directly from memory card into LR. Tried 2 ways. First, using a memory card reader, LR did not react to the presence of the card in the reader, even though the reader showed as a drive in My Computer. Secondly, tried connecting directly from my camera (Nikon D200) --- a windows window came up asking how to handle images, but LR was not on the list, and the LR import function (window) did not pop up. Any ideas how to get the LR import pop up to pop? Thanks.

From reading the posts to this thread (and others), I tried a hunch and went to the LR directory on C: drive and found the executable for adobe downloader. I double-clicked on the .exe file, and "installed" this program. This placed the camera icon in the right taskbar, and then tried to download images from the same card into LR. As soon as I did that, LR's import photos dialog box popped up ... so it works now. Not sure why the adobe downloader did not get installed when I installed the LR program.
Another question now. I've got the properties of the downloader set that it will install itself in my right taskbar everytime I boot up. Is there any way to get the downloader initializes whenever I need up ... so that I don't have unnecessary things getting installed at boot? I see I can disable after it gets loaded at boot ... but would prefer to not have it install and then allow me to initialize when I am ready to use it.

  • Batch renaming of m2t files from compact flash card

I just upgraded from FCE to FCP. I wonder if there is a way to rename m2t files captured from a CF card, either in the log&capture window or directly after that, in the browser? Now I have different cards with the same file name beginning (e.g. 00_) and that makes it impossible to sort them logically in a bin, even when I chose recording time and date as a criterium.

Update, I hooked up an external Powered USB port and plugged my card reader into it. When I run it this way, it works fine. It seams that I am having a power problem with my USb port when hooking up the non-powered device to the ports. What would cause my ports not to power my non-powered devices....software....hardware...? Profiler shows USB ports as 500 power.

  • How to re-store backgup from the flash card?

    Hi
    My phone is Nokia 5800.
After update to 20.x I found some contacts don't have voice labels anymore - I'm unable to call them via voice recognizer.
The Nokia Care said it's possible to restore these labels after soft / hard reset.
I did a backup on the flash card before each of the resets.
Nothing works - several contacts still don't have voice tags.
But now I got the second trouble: after the hard reset I'm unable to re-store "Files" (this is the option in the re-store softwar).. Damn, the files are not that important but I'd like to get them back!!
All the data (Contacts, SMSs, Calendar) have been restored right except Files.
Whenever I try to do it I got "File Manager: the memory is full, try to stop some applications" while there are no running applications and I have 70 Mb free of the phone's memory and 1.9 Gb free on the card..
    Aaa.. help... =)

If you don't have a credit card, you'll need a prepaid iTunes card or iTunes gift certificate. Or, if you're in the US, you can use PayPal, though it's often an unreliable method of payment.
    Regards.

  • Problems importing from Compact Flash cards shot on Canon 5D Mark ll

On my first attempt at importing footage from the Canon 5D Mark ll, but I've not been able to do so. I'm using FCP 7 and I downloaded the Canon Log & Transfer plug-in. I followed the instructions on Canon's website exactly, but when I get to the stage where I need to pick a preference and try to pick 'Canon EOS,' when I click 'OK,' nothing happens. The clips just don't show up.
I know the clips are there as I can view them on the 5D and I was able to import them automatically into Aperture. However, I don't know how to do the necessary transcoding once they're imported into Aperture instead of FCP.
Anything obvious that I may be doing wrong?

Are you importing them directly from the camera card or from Aperture?
If from Aperture I had a similar problem with the 5D movies after I had imported them into Aperture and deleted everything off my card (I presume this is what you may have done)
The problem is that you need the associated .THM files that are created when you shoot a video on the 5d. These are the same name as the movie file but with the THM extension rather than .MOV.
    What I did was:
Create a folder structure on your hard drive that mirrors the structure on your camera:- ie
    DCIM
    EOS5D
Export all your .mov files from A3 into the EOS5D folder.
You then need to recreate a THM file for each of the .mov files and they have to have exactly the same name apart from the extension.
You can simply copy a THM file from your camera card and then just rename it. Repeat the process for each .mob file
Once you have done that you should be able to find the files, point to the DCIM folder however.
I had to do 270 of them and created a work flow in Automator to make it a bit faster.
However as the the metadata for the clip is contained in the THM file you will lose all that.
Trick is in the future to ensure that you don't rely on A3 for importing your movie files if you want to get them into FCP (or other software I presume). Do an exact copy of the card file structure and files onto your HD iof you want to import later.

  • Recovering lost deleted data from compact flash card

Hi Any help here would be greatly appreciated...
I filmed some footage onto a compact flash card(sony fx_1 onto a sony memory recording unit/transcend flash card)...all appeared to be working fine untill i got home and the card wouldnt be read..I took it into a shop for data recovery and he managed to return, what we think are the files...
But so far cannot open these files, they are Unix Executable File, does anyone know how to open these files?
Or has anyone had a similar experience or success at recovering media files...they were recorded as HDV format...
Cheers for any suggestions (client is most unamused at the moment)
    Simon

Make sure they have the correct file type extension on the file name. (eg if quicktime, they would be .mov)

  • Pictures from Camera/flash card

Is there any way now, or in the future of a third party making a card reader or usb connection that will allow one to download picture directly to the nano? Or is the nano limited in design to not allow this to happen?

I'm worried about storage capabilities being overloaded.
Storage capabilities where?  On your Mac?  How much free space do you have on the Mac's HD? Macs normally have much more storage capability that memory cards in a camera.
Image Capture (located in the Applications folder) can be used to upload selected photos to iPhoto or a folder on the Desktop.

  • I can't continously print 4x6 cards on Laserjet 100 mfp175

I can't continously print 4x6 cards on Laserjet 100 mfp175. I have to push the "OK" button to manually load them 1 at a time. i have tried everything from setting up a 4x6 card in print properties for Word 2007 to setting 4x6 on the set up configuation of the printer. for tray 1 setup.
Trying to print flash cards for a test.
    Dave

Great Czar, soundsl like you are having issues printing continuously on 4*6 photo paper on this laserjet. From what I see you set the information in Word for when you want to print the photos, but have you gone through the driver to be sure that the printer is anticipating 4*6 prints? If you check on page 50 of the manual it will tell you how to do this so that it is set for the default - which might correct the issue for changing it with each print.

  • Flash Card Image Recovery

    Hello,
I am wondering if anyone here knows of a (free) program for MAC OSX, Panther to recover images from Compact Flash card? Came back from an event and put card in reader and it says 0, zero images to download. Appreciate feedback! Am really bummed out.. hope I can recover, though not sure if the card has failed or how to test for that.

    Hello Loretta,
    You may consider File Juicer,
    http://echoone.com/filejuicer/flashcards
but it is not free. I suppose it depends on if you think the photos are worth spending €12. It does give you the chance to see if there are any photos that can be recovered before you buy. This leads to the obvious consideration that something may have gone wrong on the day, and no photos were recorded on the flash card.
If you use this software and it shows some old images on the card, be sure they are the ones you expect and not older ones previously deleted. Going by date is probably the best way to check that.
Maybe someone else can offer you a link to a free application but this type of product usually costs, as they are selling an ability that many people usually are willing to pay for, but still for under U$20 it may be worth it.

  • Recovery of R100 from CF PCMCIA Card?

I have an R100 and its original recovery disks.  I do not have the PCMCIA-based cd rom drive that the R100 will use with those disks.
The BIOS supports booting from PCMCIA and I can boot a basic linux environment from a Flash card there.
I thought maybe I could copy the recovery CD to the Flash and use it to recover but when I do that and try to boot from the PCMCIA I'm getting a message that says, "Remove disks or other media. Press any key to restart"
    Any suggestions?

Have you given a thought to using a USB CD-ROM ?

  • How do I make a flash card look like a normal disk to an application?

I have an application that works differently when reading data from a flash card compared to when it reads data from a hard drive. Does anyone know what would tip the application off as to what type of device the file system is mounted on, and if there is a way to make the mount look like a normal drive?
I have already tried making /Volumes visible, and locating the file system through that path from the application. It still assumed the filesystem was on a flash card, and not on a hard disk.
    Any ideas?
    Dave

How is the flashcard file system formatted?
    Is it:
    FAT?
    FAT32?
    exFAT?
HFS+ Journaled (aka Mac OS Extended Journaled)?
Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility can tell you how the file system on the Flashcard is formatted.
Can you explain how the application treats the flashcard differently?  That might give us a clue.
And do you need to be able to take the Flashcard to a Windows (or other non-Mac systems, which can limit the kind of file system you can use on the Flashcard).
