  • HP C310 printer and Google Cloud Print Problems

I am using a Chromebook with a C310 printer and Google Cloud Print. The print dialogue does not allow for multiple copies. Additinally, the print dialogue box does provide for specifying which pages in a given  document to print, but ignores it, always printed all the pages of a documebnt.  Can HP address this problem or is it a Google Cloud Print problem?

Unfortunately, is you are using the Chromebook and the dialog box does not allow for multiple prints, then it is likely a feature that has not been put into the Chromebook yet. I would suggest contacting them for support, as the printing software for our printer can only digest the commands it is given - if the command isn't there for multiple copies then the printer will not have any other choice but to print them one at a time.
    I hope this helps!

  • Printer hijacked (Google Cloud Print)

Somebody else has somehow registered my printer in Google Cloud Print. I received a Google Cloud Print test page and a printout from them. I logged into my ePrintCenter account, changed my password.  I then tried to change my ePrint settings. There are other email addresses in the list so I removed them and saved my changes. However, when I sign out and sign back in, the addresses reappear.I tried to remove/add my printer but that has no effect. I am also unable to register my printer with Google Cloud Print. It says my printer is already registered (which is something I never did). My printer also does not show up under my printer list in Google Cloud Print
    Any suggestions?

    Hi j_to_the_m,
Thank you for being a member of the HP Support community.  I understand that another person has accidentally claimed your printer using Google’s Cloud Print. Google Cloud Print is a function of Google, and is generally supported by Google.  I’ve included the link to Google Cloud Print Support, which is a FAQ page.
You will need to contact the other person (in a previous post you indicated that you knew their email) and ask them to delete the printer from Google Cloud Print.  Once they have deleted it from their Google Cloud Print you should have no problems adding it to your Google Cloud Print. If you are unsure how to add it please following the steps in the Google Cloud Print’s FAQ Section titled “Basic Information” and then item 3 “How do I connect my printer to Google Cloud Print?”.

  • Print using google cloud print

I try to print using Google Cloud Print (Gmail etc...
I am connected at Chrome but that doesn't work.
I see the name of the printer with a message mean : currently offline (Actuellement hors connexion)
    What does it mean ?
The printer is on and connected to my wi-fi network
I do it with success sometimes but this problem return after turn-off, turnd-on the printer.
That seems not be easy to use Google Cloud Print with Ipad
    Thank you for your help
(sorry for my bad English ;-)

try power cycling the printer, your device and router - don't forget to quit out of the apps on the device - double tap home - hold finger down on any app on the grey bar that pops up until a red minus symbol appears and then tap the red minus symbol to close them out
if that doesn't work and it happened after power cycling the printer - you may have to re-setup your printer - check out airprint basics on the apple support page

  • Issue in Printing Smartforms through Dotmatrix Printer

    Hi,
I have a Smartform which has many tables. When I print it through a Laser printer it comes out fine. But when I direct it through the Epson 2090 a 24 pin head dotmatrix printer some lines in the tables are not getting printed.
May be it's that there is no room for printing line. What will be the best solution for this?, What's the best Font & Unit of Measure I should use? Or Anyother solution?
    Thanks,
    Kishan

    Hi,
I have a very similar problem to the original posting.  I have a SAPScript form that print fine on a HP Laser Jet printer.  But we cannot get it to print correctly on a Epson DOT Matrix.  We tried two different models and get the same bad results.  The print size is smaller on  the DOT matrix even though I am using the following printer initialization
    # set  to 10 CPI
    0x1B0x50
    # select LQ quality
    0x1B0x780x01
    # select non-proportional spacing
    0x1B0x700x00
    # set left margin to 0
    0x1B0x6C0x00
    # set right margin to 85
    0x1B0x510x85
    # cancel bottom margin
    0x1B0x4F
It is also printing a hex value on the first line and has top, side, and botton margins of about 3/8 inch  So apparently, it is ignoring the printer initialization.  Note, I had also tried the same initializations using \e in place of the Epson Escape hex value \0x1B

  • Unable to Set Up Photosmart Printer with Google Cloud Print Services

I am attempting to set up my HP Photosmart 7520 for Google Cloud Print.  Google instructions explain that I require my HP Printer email for eprint services.  I am unable to find my HP eprint email.  Can you please assist in this setup.  My printer is already set up wirelessly succesfully.  And eprint services are turned on.

    Hi,
I think you have not setup ePrint yet. To be able to use ePrint you need the printer email address. Please use the following instructions to setup email address for your printer:

  • Job error in external Service when printing from Google Cloud: HP Laserjet Professional P 1102w

I have set up my printer and associated it with Google Cloud Printing. I have shared the printer with my daughter who is on a chromebook. When she tries to print, the printer is there and the job is sent to ePrint bu I get an error saying: "job error in external service". No documents are able to print. Google says this is an HP problem.
I have deleted the printer on my daughters account and re-shared it and reassociated it, but this does not help. On my printers page, my daughter's google account is identified as "allowed to print". But it still doesnt work. Any ideas?
    This question was solved.

    Hello mapuche,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
Will the Laserjet P1102w accept an ePrint from any / all other areas? For example, if (on the Chromebook) you open an Email, forward the Email to the printers ePrint address, will it print?
Try logging into HPConnected, under Devices, click Settings> Open to Anyone.
Try sending a print via Google Cloud Print now with this setting enabled, let me know if it sends the print through. I have seen this straighten many issues out.
Would not be a bad idea to check for firmware updates on the printer too: HP LaserJet P1102w Firmware Update Utility<---A USB connection and Windows computer is needed.
    Cheers,

  • Google Cloud Print setup - Unable to parse printer capabilities

I'm trying to add my CP1525nw to Google Cloud Print as a Cloud printer, and not as a LOCAL printer, however each time I add my eprint email I get the following message; "Unable to parse printer capabilities"  - I've attempted both private and public use for eprint settings with no such luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I've tried reseting the email with no luck...
    EDIT - 04/01/11:
I chatted with HP support and although the representative was extremely curteous, they could not help me.  The support agent assured me the issue would be taken to the next level and looked at so hopefully we can have a resolution here shortly.
    EDIT - 04/04/11:
Received a response from the original HP rep I chatted with online.  In summary, he/she was not able to find a solution and states the issue will be sent up to HP's highest level of technical support....  We shall see.
    EDIT - 05/25/11:
After 2 months of waiting, HP has fixed the issue.  Remember to update to the latest firmware and check all settings before proceeding.

well, when I use google chrome to set up cloud print, it does add my HP1525nw to my google cloud print, but ONLY THE LOCAL printer. In other words, google cloud print can add both local printers and cloud enabled printers. It does add the local printers, and since while on my home network, the HP laser is a local printer, it grabs that. But it still won't allow me to add it as a cloud printer.
The problem with being connected as a local printer is that my notebook has to be on and it has to be on my local network in order for me to print to the printer through the cloud (like using my ipod).
The point of the HP printer being added as a direct cloud printer is so it can be printed to as a stand alone printer, even if my local computer is not on, because it is connected to my router wirelessly and not dependent on any local computer.
and that is where it is failing. Trying to add the printer as a CLOUD printer does not work (the same problem everyone else here is having)

  • P1008 - supported by cloud print? add as a classic printer?

    Hello,
Is the P1008 supported by cloud print?
i have connected my HP Chrome book to my HP 1008. in the setting --> cloud print section --> manage, i am not finding the add classic printer option.
    Please help.
    Thanks!

    Hi @runneranu,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that you would like to setup your Laserjet P1008 on Google Cloud Print.
The printer needs to be connected to a Windows or Mac computer with internet access. I have included Google’s Connect your printer to Google Cloud Print document which will walk you through connecting the printer as a classic printer.

  • I can't print a Adobe PDF file from the browser. Ignores print command.

Nothing happens when trying to print PDF from browser. Print box doesn't pop up and does not go to Printer queue.

None of the above solutions worked for me. I have Firefox 10.0.1 and Adobe Reader 9.5.0, and a pdf file would not print either from the Adobe print button or CTRL-P or the Firefox File, Print command. Firefox Print Preview just shows a blank screen. If I save the pdf file it prints OK from Adobe Reader.

  • Canon MP6350 not convecting to Google Cloud Print

Come on Canon, printer connected to other web services, other printers working with GCP,  your servers not connecting to GCP? "Cannot connect to server - try again later". Been happening for 2 weeks now! Seems I" m not alone:https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/chromebook-central/aJLUT42t4g4/1zQMpi4RRiIJ Working on a fix?

    Hello dabbourb,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are able to print from your desktop to your Photosmart D110a printer but not your Chromebook.
I am presuming that you have already connected your printer to your wireless network.  If you haven’t please follow the steps in the Installing the Printer Software for a Wireless Network Connection document.  Please click on the operating system of your desktop and follow the steps in the order presented.
When the printer is connected to your wireless network, we need to setup the ePrint feature of the printer before connecting it to Google Cloud Print.  To start please Get the Printer Claim Code.  Once you have the web services information sheet, please Set Up a Custom Email Address for ePrint.
Now let’s connect the printer with Google Cloud Print.  I have included the Setting Up and Using Your HP ePrint-Capable Printer with a Chromebook document.  I’ve also included Google’s document for setting up Cloud-Ready Printers.  Once you have the printer connected to Google Cloud Print please follow the steps in Google’s Print a page document to start printing.

  • Google cloud print "could not get printer information from hp"

As of today google cloud print has stopped working with my laser jet pro. I started getting an error message that "hp eprint is unavailable at this time". I decided to remove my hp printer from google cloud print. I haven't been able to add it back in since. Every time I try to verify the printer with google cloud print I get the error message "could not get printer information from hp". Everything seems to be configured properly as far as I can tell. I even removed the printer from hp connected and readded the printer and have changed my printers email address. Help please! I am on Chrome OS and this is the only option I have to print.

The issue just kind of resolved itself today and I was able to add the printer. I'm assuming it was some kind of server issue on hp's end because I haven't changed anything since yesterday.
