Try this logic!!!
Create a line type with 2 columns in table in your main window. I hope the no of rows has to be fixed for the 1st column (i.e. if data overflows from 1st column than only it has to print in 2nd column). Create 2 text elements for 2 columns respectively & pass same value in both the text elements( ex: &number&).
Now set your condition accordingly in both the text elements condition tab. Create a program line inside your table loop and set a counter for every item. each time divide the counter by no of your max line items that can b printed in 1 column.
I hope you got the logic now how to resolve this issue.

Date condition not working correctly in Desktop

I have two custom folders in Admin that are joined. One of the folders contains the following query:
SELECT ORGANIZATION_ID, ASSET_NUMBER, MIN(CURRENT_READING_DATE) FIRST_READ_DATE, MIN(CURRENT_READING) FIRST_READING
FROM EAM_METER_READINGS_V
WHERE PREV_DESC IS NULL
Group By ORGANIZATION_ID, ASSET_NUMBER
I want my workbook to report the earliest meter reading that exists, based on the date that is specified in the parameters in Desktop. When I create a parameter for the date, the workbook reports the earliest reading in the database; it ignores the date restriction entered in the parameter. This is the parameter:
First Read Date MIN BETWEEN :First Reading Date and SYSDATE
If I include the date condition in the SQL of the custom folder the workbook functions exactly as it should. The date condition is in the SQL as the following:
and current_reading_date between '01-JAN-2007' and SYSDATE
Since the workbook functions correctly when the condition is coded in the SQL but not when it is based on a parameter, I assume the problem is with the parameter. Any ideas on how I may correct this?

Thanks for the response Michael. I tried using the MIN function as you suggested, but I still am not getting the expected result. I’m not sure that I was clear in my initial problem description. I will try to provide more detail with this post.
The reason I have two custom folders is that my original query has a nested Select statement (EAMV) and I couldn’t find a way to pass the parameter from EAMV to Discoverer. Following is the original query. I suppose the first logical questions would be, is there a way to pass the parameter to Discoverer? Would this alleviate the need for the second custom folder?

Using this query I want to show the most recent reading (current reading) and then give users the flexibility to enter an earlier date so the earliest reading as of that date will also show. For example, if they enter 1-JAN-2007 as the parameter and there was a reading taken on 2-JAN-07 and 28-JAN-07, the report should show the 2-JAN-2007 reading (in addition to the most recent reading in a separate column). Currently, everything on the report displays correctly, except for the reading based on the parameter.

Print Date issue in Dunning Correspondence

Hi,
I have an issue with Print Date in Dunning correspondence. The dunning proposal and activity run has happened. The correspondence printing will fetch the accounts from the database as per the print date.
1. I would like to know where and how the dunning activity data stored?
2. Where and How the Print date assigned for accounts which helps FPCOPARA to retrieve accounts on that particular date?

I still have the issue with this print date.
I have given only cores type and as u said the real print.
when i checked the corrhist for a particular CA, different times different future date has come.
For eg: date is issue: 12/01/2009 (mmddyyyy) printdate is 12/20/2009.

like this, many cust have this issue.
why this prind date for some CAs are different or future dates?
where the settings for this print date will be?
Because of this, on a particular day all the dunned CAs are not picking up for Correspondence printing. these excepted CAs will come on another future day printing.

How to print date & time in photos

Thanks for the help.
I need to print either photos with time and dates in them... or the Bridge contact sheet with date and time info.
The final printed image will be used in court to photo document evidence.
Do I have to do a screen capture or is there some other way?
My camera will not allow me to imprint time and date.
I'm using CS4 on both Windows and Mac.

Pages 08: No "print date"?

I am just testing iWork '08 and hope to replace MS Office soon. In MS Word documents I am used to set dates as date of printing ("Insert > Field > Date > PrintDate"). This comes very handy, because I usually want to have the date of the day when the document was printed shown in my letters. As a secondary effect, when opening a document later, I see exactly when the document has been created or printed, because the print date remains in the document unchanged (until I would print it out again).
In Pages 08 I do see how to insert a date field ("Insert > Date/Time"), but I'm only able to adjust this to the actual date. Does Pages not offer any possibility to insert a PrintDate, like Word does?

File>process multiple files>labels. Be sure to uncheck "same as source", or the originals will be overwritten. It is best to work on duplicate files, esp. while learning.
Use the horizontal or vertical type tool to add the information manually to each picture file
If the same information is to be applied to several pictures, e.g. a copyright notice, use of a brush made in PSE is very efficient

Teradata database error when using a Universe-defined Date condition

I have encountered an odd problem when connecting Crystal to a Universe. There is a pre-defined Date condition built into the Universe that is defined as follows:
@Select(Date\Week End Date) > @Select(Conditions\User Response Select Date week -28) AND @Select(Date\Week End Date) <= @Select(Conditions\User Response Select Date)
The filter is designed to retrieve a rolling 4 weeks of data.
When I try and create and refresh a Crystal Report that includes this Date prompt, I get the following error:
Failed to retrieve data from the database.
Details: 22003:(ODBC Teradata Driver)(Teradata Database) A character string failed conversion to a numeric value.
If I create the same query in a WebI report it works fine, but in Crystal the error is produced. I have also tried constructing the same prompt and filter within Crystal rather than use the pre-built prompt but that did not work either.
Does anyone have any experience or advice on this error? I can't seem to find many related postings on this specific error.

One item I found I had to do with Teradata was cast my date/time values to dates, otherwise I got weird errors like this. You say it's working in Web Intelligence, so this might not be the issue, but it is an easy thing to test.
In the universe, change your end date definition to
cast(table.end_date as date)
and see if that helps.

'unable to send print data' on HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP

Hi there,
I'm running an iMac with OSX 10.6.8. Via an USB cable I have attached a HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP to the iMac.
I also use this printer to print via wifi (i.e. through the iMac) with my MacBook Pro (with OSX 10.7.3).
Suddenly today the printer stopped working via my MacBook Pro. I get an error message: 'unable to send print data'.
I have checked my antivirus etc., but that does not appear to be the problem. I have also updated the firmware of the printer, without success.
Can somebody help me out? Is the OS difference the problem? But until today that hasn't been a problem.

I understand you lost connection with the network for the Laserjet 1536 through ethernet connection.
Disconnect the routers power cable, wait 10 seconds, then reconnect the power cable. Wait till it's ready. The router might not be finding the printer on the network.
If this doesn't resolve the issue continue to the next steps.
Print a configuration report from the LaserJet 1536dnf.
Press the Setup button, (the one with the wrench on it)
reports, press OK, Config Report, press OK.
Check to see if the ip address is valid.
If you have a valid ip address then delete and add the printer on the mac, the driver might have become corrupted.
Delete printer on mac.
Click on the Apple, click System & Preferences,then click the Print & Scan icon (on some systems this may be displayed as Print & Fax),highlight your printer name and click the button on the bottom left corner of the screen.
Add printer on the mac.
Click on the Apple, click System & Preferences, and then click the Print & Scan icon (on some systems this may be displayed as Print & Fax),click add a printer, then select the printer from the list, make sure the printer listed beside use or print: shows proper printer name and not airprint, (airprint is a preinstalled apple driver with basic funtionality if on 10.8) add it in.
If the ip address is not valid please let me know.
