Print Dialog-box Pop-Up while doing Post Good Receipt in VL32N

I have created Inbound delivery for a Purchase Order. When i try to perform Post Good Receipt operation, the material is getting posted to the respective storage location, but the print dialog-box appears immediately. I faced this problem in only one plant.
Output Conditions are maintained for the specific output type, in that medium is print output and time of output is Print with own application.
Why the system is giving print dialog box when we perfrom Post Good receipt operation?
How to avoid this print pop-up dialog box?

Hi Pawan,
As sheer conincidence I should say, I just posted question on this topic just 1 hour back. And based on the comments in your question my problem is also solved. Thanks for that.
BTW, I can confirm that the settings you have mentioned are correct. As I have tested it.
Do you want to consider setting for auto GR?
Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Interfaces -> Shipping -> Define Shipping Control -> Define Shipping Control at the Movement Type Level -> For movement type 101 we have put the Copy WM quantity as 'Copy WM quantity as delivery quantity and post GR/GI'.
I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Prakash

Hi Rakesh,
Go to IMG... logistic general ... batch management ...  batch determination and batch check ... batch search procedure and check the activationu2026 Activate Automatic Batch Determination in SD

• Accounting document while doing Post Goods Receipt

Hi,
The scenario is like this.
1.     Sales order1 is created.
2.     Delivery document created; PGI (post goods issue) is done. Here the movement type is 601.
I want to get back the material (equipment) for some reason; I want to check the material for its condition. If there is any damage, I have to charge the customer.  So, the material will be received to Return stock by return sales order with reference to the first sales order1 (Movement type 651); then will be sent to Quality (Movement type 457); if it is not damaged will be sent to unrestricted stock (Movement type 321) by transaction code MB1B.
When I am doing the PGI, the accounting document is created; the Inventory account is credited and COGS (Cost of goods sold) is debited.
When I am doing PGR (Post Goods Receipt), the accounting document is not created (Movement type 651).
I have created a new u2018Schedule line categoryu2019 (YL) for the return process with the movement type 651.
I want to get an accounting document while doing PGR. The inventory account is to be debited; the COGS is to be credited.
Can I get the accounting document by changing the movement type in Schedule line category u2018YLu2019?
Please guide me in this regard.
Regards,
K Bharathi

Hi
Can I get the accounting document by changing the movement type in
Schedule line category u2018YLu2019?
Yes in your schedule line category if the movement type is not 651 then an accounting doc will be created
For movement type 651 there wont be any accounting document
In returns (651M.Type)  If a returns delivery exists, the return should be posted in the Sales (SD-SLS) component, not in the Inventory Management component.
Depending on how Customizing for Sales is configured (the movement type is configured in the step Define Schedule Line Category), the delivery is posted to the following stock:
- Blocked stock returns (non-valuated, not unrestricted-use) (movement type 651)
- Unrestricted-use stock (movement type 653)
- Quality inspection stock (movement type 655)
- Blocked stock (movement type 657)
If the given quantity is posted to blocked stock returns first, you can make a manual goods movement posting in the Inventory Management component to transfer the quantity to valuated stock.
So, when the goods arrives in so called "Block stock returns" it is not your property, it belongs to the customer (the ownership has not changed) - it is not valuated. Whiles you post the goods to your own (plant) stock by 653/655/657 it becomes your property that's why it is valuated and material document will be created

• Printing from FLASH without "Print dialog Box" Pop-up window?

hi guys,
i got a flash + OSX question, maybe someone can help me,
i'm working on a Adobe Flash (Flash version 9, actionScript
3) project, running on a MacOS X 10.4, on a core2duo iMac, it is
connected to a printer (Xerox Phaser 6360).
- the flash will be displayed in full screen.
- it is a "create your own postcard- &- print it out"
flash-based multimedia project.
- so Flash will need to print stuff.
issue is:
- everytime when something need to be printed, macOS X will
prompt a "Print Box" pop-up window say Cancel or Print (see my jpeg
below).
- so it might overlap on top of my Flash project, which is
running full screen (so having the pop-up window overlapping my
flash is no good).
so i need a solution to avoid this, any idea?
what i can think of are:
A- is there a way to avoid/by-pass this step? meaning a way
not to show this?
or
B- or is there a shareware/way to "auto-click RETURN button"
so even this screen appear it will be "auto-click" away.
or ..C?
i knew there is a Plug-in (or Xtra) for Macromedia Director
called: Print-o-matic,
the URL is:
http://www.printomatic.com/products.cfm/
it work well on the Director on Mac OS7, but they only made
it for Director & Authorware, not Flash :-( do you know
something similar for Flash?
this
is the pop-up Print dialog box i meant (which i want to avoid),
or u can copy the URL to view there:
http://photos-g.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v193/184/11/743997016/n743997016_546542_881 6.jpg
about the printer URL:
High
speed color for high volume printing - Phaser 6360
hope i'm able to get a solution here.
thanks guys,

• Pages button  in printer dialog box  is deactivating while taking print ?

Hello exports,
while taking print abap reports (developed using smartforms) pages buttoon (from- to) in printer dialog box
is by default is deactivating .How to activate this button ? who will do this one (Abaper or basis guy).
pls help me in this.

Hi,
So, as you see a field "from ... to ...", I think you are talking about the "background print parameters" dialog (this is not the smart forms print dialog, which contains field "page selection").
I don't understand. "Pages from ... to ..." is always displayed, and the user can enter them manually. Do you want to enter pages programmatically?
What is your code or the steps to display this dialog? Is it fully standard or do you use GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS programmatically?

• While doing migo-goods receipt for production

I am getting above message while doing migo
please help
Batch 0000000027 has the status <restricted-use>
Message no. M7670
Diagnosis
You are attempting to post a batch with status <restricted use> for a goods receipt.
System Response
Depending on the system setting, the system issues either a warning or an error message.
If the message is a warning (W), the system will accept your entry, but simultaneously issues a warning to prevent you from making the wrong entry.
If the message is an error message (E), the system will not accept your entry.
Procedure
Make sure your entries are correct.
thanks in advance
kailash N. thakkar

Dear,
You cannot change the status of a batch (unrestricted/restricted) in a goods movement, only with the following functions: by maintaining the batch master record manually in MSC2n
Got MSC2N On the initial screen, enter the batch data (material, plant batc).
Select the indicator restricted-use.
Check out the "Initial status of new batches" in transaction code OMAB whether your new batch status flaged for "Restricted" against your material type.
Then go ahead for MIGO.

• Process Order Warning Message while doing the Goods Receipt

Dear All,
While doing the GR against process order via t.code MB31, we are getting a warning message which reads u201CProduction date of bch 110420 (17.06.2011) does not match the prod. date entered (26.08.2011)u201D this happens only if the batch number already exists in the system for the same material code , in this scenario if the user ignores the warning message & posts the document the existing batch number production date also will be over written with current/inputted manufacturing dateu2026 this will collapse the batch traceability. Is there a way to customize where we can have a different production date for same batch number?..
For example:
Batch Number: ABCD
Production date 10.02.2011
Batch Number: ABCD
Production date 11.02.2011
Batch Number: ABCD
Production date 12.02.2011
Regards,
Sivanandan

I'm sorry to say that I find your requirement to be absolutely not logical; a batch is, by definition, a homogenous quantity of a material, that you want to separate by it's characteristics from other, different, quantities of the same material.
If you decided that manufacturing date is a characteristic of the batch, then it has to be unique for one batch.
So, as I see it, you have two options: either decide that manufacturing date is not important and do without, or have different batches for the different dates.

• Cannot Post Goods Receipt in VL32N

Hi All,
I reversed a good receipt using movement type 102. Now we need to post the correct goods receipt but I can't able to create new inbound TO and confirm TO because the previous TO still exist (cannot delete since it is already confirmed). I cannot also delete the inbound delivery to create new TO because it came from an idoc and we do not delete them.
When trying to post PGR in VL32N the error message is : delivery has not yet been completely processed by WM.
Please advise how to resolve the issue without touching the tables.
Thank you!!!
otepogi

Hi Tej,
The problem is our system is not configured for manual entry of picked qty. They were all grayed out. I tried creating new TO in LT0J (though old TO is still existing) and it allowed me to create one but i am having trouble in confirming TO so that new GR will be posted. Error i am encountering is "You can only post goods receive for the whole HU". I've check the material quantity in inbound delivery and they are the same with the material quantity in TO i created in LT0J
Thanks!

• Error While Doing Post Goods Issue

Hi SD Gurus
While I am Doing PGI for Standard Order, I am Getting the following Error.
Version : 5.0
Clien: 800
Runtime Errors         PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE
Date and Time          24.01.2008 23:50:48
Short dump has not been completely stored (too big)
ShrtText
No PXA storage space available at the moment.
What happened?
The current ABAP/4 program had to be terminated because there
was no space available to load it.
Each ABAP/4 program to be executed is stored in a central
storage area that is divided between all users.
This area was too small to hold all currently active programs for all
users.
The current program, "SAPLMCB1", had to be terminated because a capacity limit
has been reached.
What can you do?
Since this could have resulted in a temporary bottleneck, you should
try to restart the program.
Ask your system administrator to increase the size of the area (PXA)
used to store the ABAP/4 programs.
Make a note of the actions and input which caused the error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
Error analysis
Unable to load a program of 1234944 bytes.
The PXA ('program execution area') was too small to hold all
currently active programs for all users.
At present, the size of the PXA is set at 145444 Kbytes.
How to correct the error
The current size of the PXA was set at 145444 kilobytes.
You can increase or decrease the PXA in the SAP profile. When
doing this, please refer to the relevent instructions in the
installation manual.
You can use the utility program 'ipclimits' to display the
available system resources.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE" C
"SAPLMCB1" or " "
"LIS_VERBUCHUNG"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.

• Can't see printer name in the print dialog box as the printer name is too long

This is actually causing siginificant pain as I am using a tablet and moving around a number of floors/buildings needing to be able to print from where I am.
When printing from Acrobat reader, the print dialog box that comes up does not have a horizontal scroll bar and does not fit in the names of the printers in my organisation. We are unable to change the printer name, so it basically means that when using Acrobat, we can't select a printer.
All other windows applications show more characters and also have a horizontal scroll bar in the print dialog box so you can scroll across to see the rest of a long printer name. Why is acrobat not using the standard windows print dialog?
Has anyone come across this? Help!

This is the Acrobat forum, not the Reader forum. In the future you should check there. I am not sure why you can not change the printer name, unless you do not have administrator rights. The name of the printer has nothing to do with where the print copy is sent. It is just for the purpose you mentioned of identifying the printer to print to. If you are not the administrator, ask your IT folks to change the name for you and explain why.

• Print frame without print dialog box

I want to thank everybody for the print swf file on the
raisingaimee site, but my question goes a bit further. I'm working
on a new quiz project and would like the results page to
automatically print out when the user reviews the quiz. OR when the
user clicks a button (say, continue or something similar) that the
review frame will automatically print to the default printer
without the print dialog box popping up. Is this possible?

hi sebastian,
first of all u check for user settings.....in TABLE USR01
Selecting user master records from USR01 table
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM usr01
         INTO ls_usr01
        WHERE bname = sy-uname.
      ls_outputoptions-tddest = ls_usr01-spld.
      IF ls_usr01-spdb  = 'H'.
          ls_outputoptions-tdimmed = ' '.                "Print immediatetly
      ELSE.
          ls_outputoptions-tdimmed = 'X'.
      ENDIF.
and in control parameters use
ls_outputoptions-no_dialog = 'X'.
this will help u out..
please reward in case usefull...

• Getting error F5 080 while saving Goods Receipt in VL32N

Hello all,
A user has created an Intercompany Purchase Order (i.e. The vendor is
an Intercompany).
The vendor mentioned in that PO has different partners for presenting
invoice (i.e. Partner Function PI) and for suppliing goods (i.e.
Partner Function GS).
The trading partners of those PI and GS vendors are different e.g.7000
and 8000 respectively.
Later on user has done Inb. Delivery by VL31N and posted invoice (Here
the goods receipt is based on Invoice).
And then, when he tries to post Goods receipt by VL32N it gives him
error "Consolidated companies 7000 and 8000 are different.
However user was able to save Goods receipt for another similar PO
which has same PO Doc.Type, same vendor, material and same Org. Data
also.
Please help us to resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance.
Amit

Hi Srinivas,
Thank you very much for the reply.
But that SAP Note refers to error during Invoice creation. However in this case the error occurs during VL32N Goods receipt.
Also another thing is that when we replicated documents in Quality system, it is not giving error but gives error to user in Production system.
Thanks in advance for helping us,
Best Regards,
Amit

• After updating to Firefox 32.0.3 Print Dialog box will not apear in XP/Win7Pro after a while but a restart of Firefox will allow it to show up again..

After automatically updating to 32.0.3 last Thursday and this Monday on all our Staff and Patron computers both Win7 pro and XP pro we have seen Firefox sessions that will not bring up the Print Dialog. The Print Preview dialog will come up but no print button or print menu item will bring up the Print Dialog. After you close Firefox and reopen it the Print Dialog box will work again for some time. The websites that Patron and Staff use during a session are different and done seem to be the cause. The Firefox settings are at fault because a simply restart of just Firefox fixes the issue and no other web browsers or application has any problem with displaying the Print Dialog at any time. Again this began on all the computers as soon as 32.0.3 was installed automatically over night.

Hi NPLD,
Thank you for your question, I understand that there are multiple computers that no longer have a working print dialogue after a while of using Firefox. However after a restart, the print dialogue continues to act normally.
Does resetting the printing settings on the affected computers only temporarily change this as well?[[Fix printing problems in Firefox]]
I noticed it when I tested this page: [http://www.housebeautiful.com/decorating/home-makeovers/1920s-home-before-after?src=spr_FBPAGE&spr_id=1451_94608649#slide-2] However I cannont reproduce it all the time. The print icon in the page has a opened a printable view and then the print dialoge comes up. When I switched to another program, that icon did not open the preview.
Do you notice any about:config entries that change when you see this start to happen?
