Print Dialog Printer Button

Hi All,
There are a number of printer features that we use that are only accessible via the "Printer..." button on the print dialog. This would be fine except it seems to forget what settings were last used between print jobs.  For example, we print to mail boxes on our MFPs.  A user needs to hit print, click Printer..., specify the mailbox settings or choose a Preset, click Print then click OK on the main dialog. When trying to immediately print again using the same settings, all steps must be repeated otherwise the mailbox isn't chosen and all other settings specified on the actual MacOS Printer dialog are lost.
The same holds true for any settings not available on the main "Adobe" print dialog including duplex, Fiery settings, Fax #s (yes, some of our consultants still use them), etc.
Simply telling people to be sure to follow all steps every time is not an answer. We have a few dozen users.  There's no way they're all going to remember all the time and it's going to be a huge time and resource ($$/Paper) waster.
Anyone know a way around this?
Because of this issue, I see no reason to upgrade at this time.  We're on maintenance which annoys me because I'm paying for nothing at the moment.  But I think it'll be too much of a drag on our productivity to try to roll it out as it is.

Thanks Steve.  Seemed like it worked at first but no go. When I go back into the Print Dialog an hit Printer, the settings ARE there but unless you click Print on that dialog, the adobe dialog ignores them.  In other words, if I hit Printer and get the dialog. The settings (using presets) are saved and visible. But if I hit cancel at the dialog (which most people I know would do if they're not changing anything), it disregards the settings.
