HelloIs there any application that will allow (without having the computer on) print directly via wifi to a printer that has wifi?.I just bought a SAMSUNG ML2165W that supports wifi and all persons who have a mobile android or IOS are able to print directly except me with my BBz10, is frustrating. The application of samsung (upload http:apk2bar.org) samsung mobile print, specific for this type of printer does not work. Anyway, if anyone has a solution to this problem since it seems lie that a mobil specifically designed to facilitate work, office and company actions, do not allow this type of action. A greeting.

Printer connected via WiFi, will not print.

I have a MacBook Pro (2008) running Yosemite 10.10.1 and it is connected wirelessly to my Canon MP530 printer (using a print server). Everything is connected correctly, but when I send a file to print, nothing happens. I am pretty sure I have the correct driver installed because this identical setup works on my other Mac (2009) also running Yosemite 10.10.1.
The only thing I can remotely think of is that on the Mac that won't print, it is an older Mac (2008) running Yosemite. On the Mac that wireless printing works on, it is a newer model (2009) also running Yosemite. I suspect it may be a hardware problem, but not sure.
(and yes, I have also tried the Gutenprint drivers, with no result). I can print from the 2008 Mac using the 2009 Mac as a server, but that's it. I just want to be able to print from the 2009 Mac without connecting it directly to the printer or using the 2009 Mac as a "server". Why does one Mac print wirelessly while the other one will not?
Any suggestions?

Cannot print directly to the Adobe PDF printer

Hi. I cannot print directly to the Adobe PDF printer since receiving my new computer. I use Acrobat 9 (updated to the latest patch today) on a 64-bit Win 7 computer. A colleague has the same set up and she can print to the Adobe PDF printer without any issues. Fyi, I have tried printing from Word, my email program, & webpages with the same result, which is that the document goes into the printing queue and then the process just stops. This wasn't an issue on my previous computer running the same Acrobat version but under Win XP.
I have updated to the latest patch, and I have tried a repair installation of Acrobat with no affect. What am I missing?

Please check that when you print to PDF, the Save as dialog might goes in background. Watch for blinking icon in the taskbar at the bottom. Click the icon and give output PDF name.

Two weeks ago we bought a mini iPad in New York. In New York, we have also taken into use cases. The mini ipad disposal was connected to the mac computer of my son, who lives there. We have not made backup. At home in the Netherlands, we wanted this case for charging on the Windows computer, that we have at home. Immediately, the itunes program was activated (we had a few years an ipod in the house). Appears in the computer the message that you can register. Cases I tried that. I do not know if I did succeeded. There also were some choices of settings. So I made the mistake of choosing the setting to use movies as I recall.
That same afternoon comes on the ipod in the message screen that he can connect to the server no contact. WIFI contact fails. The ipad is happening the same. The computer still works fine with the wifi connection. Both Apple devices have done well yesterday here in the Netherlands.
Please give me a good advice?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all videos and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I cannot print wirelessly to Canon PIXMA 560 using Airport Extreme and Vista PC. Printer worked fine with Netgear previously. With USB from printer direct to Laptop it will print. The printer is definitely set up correctly to acknowledge the router. W

When I connect the printer to the Airport via USB and run Bonjour, it recognizes that I have a Canon printer but does not have the mp560 as one of the choices.
I spoke with Apple support but they could not help...they said they thought it was a Windows issue and that it had something to do with one of the ports needing to get "unstuck" or something like that...this is really annoying because while the Airport is so much better than the Netgear it defeats the purpose of having the wireless printer, which worked so well previously.

Unfortunately, not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations. In addition, the AirPort's USB port does not support the "advanced" printer functions, like scanning, copying or faxing, of multi-function printers.
To see if your printer is compatible, take a look at thisiFelix Unofficial AirPort Printer Compatibility link. If your printer isn't listed, it doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but simply that it has not been verified. iFelix also provides the following workaround for printers not on the list that would certainly be worth a try.

Finally, check out this IBM support article to see if your printer is listed as having a Postscript or PCL3 interface. If it does, then it will most likely work with the AirPort's USB port. Printers that use the "HP LIDIL" interface must be connected to a computer directly and will not work.

Printing directly on SAP-printer or via preview on windows printer

I'm having a serious print problem: The result of printing directly on a SAP printer or printing via preview on a windows printer is a wide difference!
In the beginning I was working only with the preview of the LiveCycle Designer to check the design of my forms. Later on I was checking them in preview mode in SAP-transactions or saved them onto my local disk. Printing was no problem because I printed the created forms on a window printer.
One day there was a big surprise when printing a form directly from SAP on a local SAP-printer (HP printer). The output looked a bit different. Somehow the form was like streched. The left and right margins were not on the sheet anymore. Even the lowest part of the footer was not visilble anymore. It looked like the layout was centerd and aligned on top of the page.
The SAP printer is installed with a PCL driver (standard for HP). Even adjustments relative to the SAP-hint 1444342
(device independent printing) were regarded.
My question now is: how to install SAP-printers that the print output is the same no matter what print method is chosen?
I appreciate any help, hints and good advices which leads to a solution of my problem.

Since that time my iPad 1 will not connect to internet although in "settings" it indicated that it is connected. I turned off the WiFi for 30 seconds as was suggested but still the iPad won't conect. Anybody have suggestions as to what might provide a "fix"?

I wonder if the roku changed some other settings in your router or pad.
Recycle the router. Thurn it off for a while, then restart.
On the pad, forget your exiting network. This will cause it to search for avaialbe, and reset again. You will likely need to redo any password/ security entry.
Lastly, in settings, general, reset network connections. You will not lose anything.

Print directly thru wifi from iPad to air print compatiable printer

I have a HP Deskjet 3050A-J611 printer which is suppose to be air print compatiable with Apple. I can't seem to be able to print anything directly from my iPad to the printer and there is a wifi connection. Can anyone help me please?

angel, are you in an enterprise network environment, or a home network? Also, you may need to go into the printer configuration and enable Bonjour broadcasts, as far as you can tell, is that turned on?

HP 4750 Printer connected via wifi but is shown offline in windows 7

I am hoping someone can help me. My 4750 HP priniter is connected to my network. I ran the wireless network test report from the printer and it stated no problems found. It shows everything is connected. When I attempt to print from my laptop it shows that the priniter is offline.
It seems like the only way to resolve is to delete and reset the wireless settings again. The last time I did this, the printer worked wirelessly for a short period of time. I do not want to have to reset the wireless settings everytime I want to print. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

It sounds like the printer may be having an issue with keeping the network connection in standby mode since resetting the printer's network settings works.
Setting a static IP address is a step I recommend for any printer. By default, printers use DHCP (automatic IP settings) for the network and they can lose this information in standby mode and not send a new DHCP request. Setting a static IP address typically resolves this issue.
Step five of this document from HP will help set a static IP address.

HP office jet 4620 has good wi-fi connection but, cannot print directly .via my computer?

I have spent 2 full days trying to print from my computer (also wi-fi enabled) through to my HP Officejet 4620.
I have had splendid downloads from HP trying to sort the problem but no luck so far.
I have windows Vista and my computer is a faithful old Toshiba Satelite L300 and, I have not connected to a printer before on this computer. To enable the printer to engage with my wi-fi rovider was easy and successful. It prints test papers great.
Any help would be so appreciated.

I see that you are unable to print over a wireless network with the Officejet 4620 with a Windows Vista computer. When you try to print, what happens? Is there an error, is the printer not found, does the software not install, etc?
Have you tried the Print and Scan Dr, if not, run it and let me know the results.

Hi I have just had the same problem , my printer is a canon mx 435 could not connect to my ipad it came down to the router , call your Internet provider and get new settings for your router I did and now works great

How Can I print directly the report from the printer without showing it ?

I know how to run the report from Form as it illustrate on this site:

but the question here how could i to generate the report directly to the printer without showing it on the screen???
I search on the net and I find that I should change this line :-
SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY(report_id,REPORT_DESTYPE, cache);
to this
SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY(report_id,REPORT_DESTYPE, printer);
but it is not working with me :-(
is there any suggest ?!

Why YOUTUBE is SO SLOW via WiFi while other application with normal speed

My Iphone 3gs version 3.1.2 (7d11)
having problems with the video streaming from You Tube if I use WifI but 3G is fine though tested the speed WiFi is faster than 3G provided by my carrier.
* Play YOUTUBE with WiFi, it will load slowly to its first 3-6seconds and then stop, wait for long time and press play again and it will move bit to another 1 sc or 2 sc and I have to keep press, hold and wait for the buffering but turn out nothing. BUt play with 3G then it is normal though have the video quality/resolution might not as good as Wifi
* quiktime video play smoothly, safari speed good, apps store download good, testspeed in iphone normal.
* use PC to access WiFi and play videos on YouTube is Normal.
* change the router setting as per many people here advice from 802.11g TO 802.11b OR Channel ID: Channel 9 (2452 Mhz)

RTS/CTS Threshold: 2305 (Also try 1500, 2305 works better for me though)
Fragmentation Threshold: 2304 (Also try 1024, 2304 works better for me though)
DTIM: 1
Protocol: 802.11 b
It WORKS for AWHILE after few hours then back to the same problem again!!! SO FRUSTRATED!!! APPLE PLEASE HELP TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM!!!!

If the problem is wifi, troubleshooting should focus on your wifi network.
