Print documents from DMS with Output of Billing Document

Hi,
    I have a requirement to print the DMS attachements of an Billing document, when triggering the output type of the document.
    Is there a third party product which can provide this functionality or will abap changes be required to the print program of the billing document?

Save/Print document from DMS with Office 365

Dear All,
We are on ECC 6.0 EHP 4 of SAP. When a word document attachment is opened in DMS (CV03N) from a PC having locally installed Office 365. The document is opening up in office 365 interface inside SAP. Which is good, but we are unable to save the document on to local PC. Upon clicking the File menu, i suppose word tries to bring an additional view instead of a drop down, which was the case with earlier versions. I think this is causing the problem. Can any one suggest how to save and print documents from DMS with locally installed Office 365.?
We have figured out a work around to bring up the 'Save As' and 'Print' functionalities on to quick access tool bar. Using these shortcuts we are able to save the document but not print.

Dear Ms. Mohanapriya,
We are quite happy with the existing DMS and our intention is not to change the existing architecture. Well, now we are able to open the document and have a workaround to save to local PC. And once the document is saved to PC users are able to print.
Now we are looking for a solution to enable file menu of Office 365 within OLE container of SAP.

Print postcards from 'Pages' with a Lexmark C544dn printer?

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to print postcards from 'Pages' with a Lexmark C544dn printer. As far as I can say, I have correctly set all parameters, but the output is always blank. Any ideas? FYI Lexmark have been unable to help!!

Your trial with a full size paper tells the story, I think. Your ink is missing the post card. Try again with a small card. After initiating the Print function, make sure you are seeing the expanded Print dialog with the preview on the left side of the dialog window. Does everything look OK there? Paper correct size and orientation? Text showing where it should in the preview?

Printing issue in smartform with output type

Hi ,
I am facing issue while I am taking print from zebra printer.
I am trying to take a print from MB90 but its not coming but its giving status 'processed' and same from the spool, in spool its showing status complete but not giving any printout.
if I m attaching my smartform with another output type which already working for another label(smartform), then its giving print.
So, what I want to know..
Its can be a problem with output type config or from basis side.
Please help.

well i have seen setting are correct but having one issue it doesnt trigger automatically I do it manually from MB90 and rest of the things are correct becaoz i have seen while debug its going correct form from driver program, when i am runniing from MB90 manually .

Printing File from DMS in smartform from IW33

My requirement is as follows,
In order(IW33)>Operations>Production Resources/ Tools, A document is maintianed. I need to print file from there in a smartform regardless of the file format.
For this I have searched and found the following logic.
from Tables dms_doc2loio, dms_ph_cd1 I am getting Doc details, these details are passed to the below FM,

I am Sorry I dont understand why you are moving the data into a binary format conversion.
Is there any particular thing which makes you to do so? If so, Please explain.
Instead have you try to convert them into Xstring and then into String. By doing so. If any special characters or any special symbols or anything. the system wont give any error. instead it is a easy method also.

Cannot print coupons from SmartSource with FireFox 3.6.14

I was just upgraded to Firefox 3.6.14 and suddenly I cannot print coupons from SmartSource. I keep getting the message that Java is disabled but it is not. I uninstalled Java and reinstalled it and still get the problem. I can successfully print from Internet Explorer.
I've never had a problem with this until the 3.6.14 upgrade. On the Java web site, it said if you're getting an error message and you recently upgraded Firefox, download an update so I did that too. No help. I've restarted Firefox after each change.

There's a Bug in 3.6.14 with Java. A quick patch is being tested for a 3.6.15 release, but no date is set for that release. Probably early next week.

Printing Issue from ITS with a Reverse Proxy Configured

Hi experts,
We have an enterprise portal landscape which can be accessed from the internet. The URLs are mapped using apache server as a reverse proxy. Also, we have configured the reverse proxy settings for accessing R/3 systems.
When the users try to take the print out from the ITS Web GUI accessed through the enterprise portal, the page redirects itself to an only internally resolvable host name of the R/3 ITS.
Due to this issue, users are not able to take prints from internet.
I would like to know if there is any way by which i can change this to my externally resolvable reverse proxy host address, which in turn can be mapped internally to the original host name at the reverse proxy level.
Can any one help me out in this?

Issues with output in billing documents

Hi there,
I have been seeing this issue in our production system a lot lately. The output is not applied to the invoice when it is created although the condition record is set up.
It only appears when we enter the invoice using VF02 and unless we save it, it is not going to stick around. This only happens with one customer.
I did a lot if investigation and checked all possible OSS notes but nothing helped. Could someone please suggest ??

As you are able to give the output type manually in VF02.So before giving the output type,click on determine analysis.and after maintaining output type and saving the billing document,again go to VF02 and click on determine analysis.and check the difference.Secondly also check wheather any batch job is running for the output types
Also check wheather any subroutine has been assigned to the access sequence , if any subroutine has been assigned then check wheather it is working fine or not.

Printing problems from acrobat with recieved pdf's

Hi everybody,
We have a problem with printing PDF files on windows 7 32 bit. This only happens with files that have come through one persons emails. When you open the PDF file from outlook it works fine but when you print it it crashes the print spooler service and the print job gets stuck in the print queue then you have to go into the queue and manually delete it. When I open pdf files that i have downloaded it all seems to work fine and will print.
Any help would be muchly appreciated
Also from this email you can email to an xp machine and it prints but if you email to the other windows 7 machine it does the same thing. But the other windows 7 machine can print thier PDF's from thier emails

Quite frankly, it would really help the Adobe Acrobat team if you at least provided information as to what version of Acrobat or Reader you were using, what type of printer (manufacturer, model, and whether PostScript or not), etc.
We are not aware of a general problem of the type you describe and such information would help us track the issue down to assist you and any other users.

Printing PDF from IE with Adobe Reader - extra white space at top of page

I searched the forums far and wide but did not find this question or information to answer it. If it's out there, I'd be much obliged if you'd point me in the right direction.
A user of the web app for which I do tech support just called to say that starting today, whenever he opened a PDF from our app (in IE), the PDF looks fine on screen but when he prints the PDF, every page has extra blank/white space inserted at the top, which cuts off the bottom inch or two of each page.
No other users have called with this complaint, and if changes to our app or an automatic background Adobe Reader or IE update caused this problem, I would have heard from many users. I have a sneaking suspicion I have heard about this from other users, but since troubleshooting their IE or Adobe isn't exactly my job, I don't know if I did any more than advise them to talk to their tech support people.
I can't recreate his problem (read: it works fine for me), but I'd like to help him. Can anyone think of a reason why this might be happening?

What I know: He's using Adobe Reader X. I do not know if it's the most recent version. The problem only exists with PDFs from our web app; he's not having trouble with other sites or with other PDFs.
I do not have a copy of the PDF; I can't give you the copy I downloaded when I logged into his account because there is proprietary confidential information on it, but everything worked fine for me and he's the only user with this complaint, so I believe it's related to his PC or printer, not to our app or to Adobe per se.
I sent him email asking for more information, but I do not know what printer he's using. I don't even know what version of Windows he's running.
Based on some info from Adobe, I suggested he make sure he's using the most recent version (10.1.2), try 'print as image" to see if that's any more successful, and make sure his printer drivers are up to date.
Given the nature of tech support, if he solves the problem or finds a workaround he's happy with, I may never hear from him again to know. I just wanted to know if this was a known issue and what recommended resolutions for it might be. Having not found anything on the web at large, I figured the Adobe forums would be a good place to ask.

How to export or print PDF from Illustrator with crop and reg marks?

I realise this is probably a very obvious question, but I've just upgraded from CS3 to CS5.5, and I'm tearing my hair out with the loss of Adobe PDF printer driver. I've looked on forums and can't find this question - prob. so obvious that no one else has asked it.
Can't seem to export as PDF from Illustrator ,only 'save as'. This doesn't give me my crop marks. I've tried putting in crop marks - Effects/Crop Marks - but this places the marks outside my trim, at the edges of my background image, which comes out 2mm all round for bleed purposes.
How can I set crop marks to denote the dimensions of the page size, regardless of how much crap I've got spilling out over the edges for bleed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Bring back the PDF Printer Driver pleeeease!

You can turn on crop & trim marsk when doing a save as to PDF. But turn on some bleed values greater than 0 (not as in my screenshot) or you will not get any bleed of your artwork, just the marks then.

I’m trying to run a report (web_layout) that load images (blob) from the database but I got the message:
javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: purge_calls:1446 reason=1 state=5
I checked the reports server log and the job status is “Terminated with error: <br>REP-56109: Job 14 is terminated due to connection timeout.”
Could anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

Cannot print labels from PayPal with Firefox browser. What changed in the past week?

I usually use Firefox to access my PayPal account and print shipping labels. For the past week, I get the following error message when I try to print the labels.
Printer not activated, error code -30.
I don't get this message in IE, but it is not a browser I like to use. This has been happening for the past week. What has changed in the last week which would render this problem.

It might be that your only "printing device" is not recognized as a physical printer. I get this error with Coupon printing Java apps because my printer uses a generic printer driver.
Some would say "coupons (and postage) should only be printed once to reduce the chances of fraud"... I say "paper gets lost, let me print as I need"... they win...
The only workaround I ever found was to reinstall the printer driver, which did not work for me but it might for you...

Print PDF from web with adobe acrobat 8

I have adobe acrobat standard version 8.
The program works fine, except I can not print a web page to a PDF.
Under the print option, there is no longer a tab/printer option that says print to adobe PDF?
How do I get that back?

No. It is not there for some reason, and I can't see how to install it?
