Can I print from my iPad2 to HP Deskjet 6450 via ePrint? If not, any app can do such task?

The ePrint feature is supported by the latest HP Network products only.
As well, the HP ePrint Home & Biz App is supported by wider range of network printers.
Unfortunately, any of those features require a network printer, and your specific printer model is not supported by any of the cloud features.
You may check the App store for any 3rd party App who may provide you some printer sharing features by using your PC as a bridge,
As well, you may check Google Cloud Print which may provide you some limited print capabilities by using the PrintCentral Pro App.
I assume you are referring the HP Deskjet 6540 printer which provide usb connectivity only,
There are some USB printers supported by the discontinued HP iPrint Photo App (By using Apple Base Router only) however the specific model is not supported.

with my MacBook Pro I can print wireless on my HP Businessjet 1200 printer without any problems.
The printer is connected to a printserver and this part by wire with the WLAN router.
Back to my iPad: Before iOS5 I used Airprint to print from my iPad -- no problems.
But now, nothing goes on.
So please does anybody know how to print from the iPad with iOS5.1.1?
(I don't want t make a jailbrake).

Can't print from MBP to HP DeskJet Cxi

I have a new MacBook Pro and an older but not much used HP DeskJet Cxi. I can print from my old PowerBookk G4 but not from my MBP. Apple says HP doesn't offer a driver; HP says Apple doesn't offer a driver. Is there any way to use this printer with my MBP?

That's very strange. See if clearing the cache in Safari will make it work. I'll include the steps below. If that doesn't help, install a different browser, such as Opera, to see if that will print from pages that Safari won't. If it will, then something is wrong with Safari. If it doesn't print, then the web pages might have printing blocked. There are sites that are doing that for copyright reasons. Let me know what you find.
To clear the cache on Safari:
Open Settings.
Select Safari
Touch Clear Cache.
Select Clear.
Touch Clear Cookies.
Select Clear.
Touch Clear History.
Select Clear.

Trying to print from iPad2 using Fingerprint2

I have an iPad2 and my husband has a MacBook Pro. I've installed Fingerprint2 on the MacBook to enable me to print from the iPad to our HPCP1515n printer, which is not an Airprint printer.
Installed Fingerprint fine but whenever I ask to print, I get a 'printer offline' message...Help!!
Also, MacBook is awake and printer plugged in...

Cant remember password to print from my phone to deskjet 2540

I recently set up the HP Deskjet 2540 to print from my HTC phone. I need to sign into the wi fi connection specifically set up for the printer, rather than my usual connection, if I want to print directly from my phone downloads. Trouble is, my phone is asking for the password to get connected. I have no idea what it is. I printed out a network configuration page, which gave me a PIN but then what do I do? Just putting in the PIN does nothing.
Hope this makes sense to someone!

I think you are looking for the Wireless Direct password for the Deskjet 2540. You should be able to access this password by printing an information page for Wireless Direct.
To do so, press and hold the Wireless Direct button for three seconds, once released, a page will print with the password.

I use my ipad2 for everything! But i cant print from it! We have a pc with a canon mx340 which does allow airprint. I have bought and downloaded print n share, the canon app, and printopia, but i cant get the ipad 2 to find our wireless printer. As a mom, i want to print out coupobs from sites, but i cant from the ipad 2. Any help would be very appreciated!! Thank you!!

Hi. Below is a link to the list of airprint supported printers. Unfortunately, the mx340 is not on it. The pad will not find the printer unless itis airprint enabled.
Print and share and printopia will let you print through a pc or mac that is only the same net work and connected to the printer.
I am not sure why they would have told you that the mx is a supported airprint device, if it is not on the list. (current as of an hour ago). If it is new, take it back.
If it is airpritnt compatible, go to the control panel on the printer, and see if there is a way to update the firmware. Many of the hp airprint printers need this step before they will work.

Apple - iPad - Print right from your iPad with AirPrint.
Unfortunately, AirPrint will only work with AirPrint enabled HP printers.
Check the HP site. They may have an app available you can use for your USB / Airport printer.

That printer does not support AirPrint, so you cannot print natively from the iPad. You'll have to use a third party app like print n share or Printopia. They are in the app store.

Printing from iPad2 in Notes, not working

We have several ipads being used in our office. All are printing fine from the "Notes" app except for one. Anyone know what could be wrong?
It goes through all the steps correctly, looks like it's working, but nothing prints.

Without going into details...everything is set up right and has been working normally except for this one ipad. I'm thinking it's just the ipad, however, we are changing internet providers (coming in today actually) and expecting much better service to use multiple devices well. I suspect this could solve our occasional issues of having to restart things - including the printer sometimes! Once the change is up and running we'll see if the issue continues. If so, I will call Apple. Perhaps someone can walk me through steps to figure out what's up with this ipad.

Can't print from my new Mini-HP 952C via IP print server

I have a 1 week old Mini that I cannot get to print on my existing home network. It works with my router just fine for internet access, but I have a Netgear print server on there to share my printer with my home office laptop and now the Mini. I set up the printer with IPP protocol, it's at 192.168.0.6 and it's using the HP 900 series Gimp drivers.
However, nothing prints..the printer never even wakes up. I have 3 things sitting in the queue just waiting for days now.
I know it works because I can fire up my Windows laptop and print to the same 192 destination and it goes.
I'm brand new to the Mac world so I am still learning the in's and out's but this one is driving me nuts.

I have a similar problem with my wireless print server.
I have a G5 and an Intel Mac mini and have no problems with the G5 or, with the mini booted into Windows via bootcamp, but have not been able to get the mini to print running Mac OS. Updated to the lastest SW just this morning.
The print queue just goes to stopped with no explanation or diagnostics.
