Print job will not delete

A print job will not delete from my computer despite several restarts of both the computer and printer.

Hi,
From the Desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R. Into the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.
Browse down to the print spooler service, right click it and select Properties then click on the Stop button.
Now browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and delete the job inside this folder - You may need to click a prompt to gain the appropriate authority to open the PRINTERS folder.
Restart the computer and you should find the document has been removed.

Print job will not delete, which halts other print jobs

Maddening issue with some print jobs sticking in print que, then failing to delete when attempting to clear que, which halts any print jobs that follow. Que shows "deleting" but in reality it does not delete. I have tried to go into spooler system and it seems to work when I hit "Stop" then "Start," but do NOT want to have to do this every time. thx for any help.

On order to clear the Spool, the easiest way is to turn off your printer,
Reboot your PC and then cancel all the documents from the Printers screen.
After the documents has been removed, turn the printer back on.
As the issue ocours more often, please let me know your printer model, how it is connected to your PC and your operating system version, it will help to better understand any possible cause.

Print jobs will not print

I have an 8620 that is enabled for web services. The printer is listed on the HP Connected site. I emailed a document to the email address on the printer and it is sitting in a status of "Sending to printer". I also enabled the printer for Google Cloud Print and I have 2 jobs there claiming to be "In Progress".

Are the print jobs still pending? If yes, please try the steps in The HP ePrint Print Job Did Not Print document. If the print jobs are still stuck after attempting the steps in the ePrint trouble shooting document, please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. Hp2542 print job will not enter queue

I send a print job to the HP2542 printer using the cable the job doesn't queue up. The HP 2542 works fine from laptops using a wireless connection.

I will certainly do my best to help you with your Deskjet 2542 not printing ! However, I am going to ask that you please let me know some more helpful information to help me research the problem for you.
Please respond to me with the following. If there are any steps here that you have not tried, please try them before responding and include the result:
How is the printer connected (USB/ wireless/ wired/ Bluetooth)?
What is the Operating System of the computer?
Have you tried printing from different programs?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software?
What Firewalls and Anti-virus software are installed?
Have you tried disabling or uninstalling them?
If you're running Windows, run the Print and Scan Doctor and include the results.
Did you make any recent changes to your set up (physical move, upgrade, downgrade, new software installed, new router, etc)?
Is the printer plugged directly into the wall outlet (avoiding power bars and surge protectors)?
Have you completed all Windows/Mac OS Updates?
Have you tried using a different USB/Ethernet cable?

Printer drivers will not delete

I recently upgraded to Windows 8 on a brand new computer. My faithful laserjet 2100 would not work. However, the printer (several copies of it) show up in MS Word, Excel and other programs when I go to print. I replaced the printer with an HP LaserJet
Pro 400 MFP and now I'm getting copies of this printer also when I try to print.
The dilemma is that the laserjet 2100 (several copies of it) are in the print queue when I try to print a document even after I removed the drivers from the system. How do I get rid of these copies?

It sounds like while you’ve removed the drivers for your old LaserJet 2100, the computer thinks that printer still exists and is defaulting to a generic driver.
The good news is, it’s easy to remove any old printers and any copies that might exist by following these steps:
Go into Devices and Printers by swiping in from the right edge of the screen and tap
Search. (If using a mouse, point your mouse to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and click
Search.) Type in “Devices and Printers”.
Once the window comes up, you’ll see your printer(s) and any copies.
Right-click on any of the ones you want to remove and select Remove Device.
Continue following step 2 until you’ve removed your old printer, all of its copies and any copies you might see for your new printer
Right-click your new printer and select Set as default printer.

The letterhead from a previous print job will not go away.

When I printed the confirmation/receipt from an order I placed with Kohl.s Dept. store, the name Kohl's and the date appeared on the top of the paper that printed out. Since then, everything I print out has Kohl's at the top of the paper. This has been going on for months. How do I get rid of it?

From the Control Panel, open Administrative Tools and select Sevices. Browse down to the print spooler service, right click it and select Properties then click on the Stop button. Print Queue will not remove print jobs

I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. I have a Printer HP LaserJet P4015n set up as a network printer thru DNS. The printer is working fine all print job will come
out. Each time I send a print job to stays in the queue with the Status "Sent to printer". If I send another print job to the printer it will print out however the job will stay in the queue. I have added the printer to a user’s machine and they were
able to see all the print jobs in the queue. I have stops and started the spool however it does nothing. I have already reinstalled the printer but it has done nothing to help.
After about 5 - 10min of the jobs are sitting the in the queue they delete themselves.
Does anyone know of anything I can do about this?

Thanks for the post.
Here is something I need to confirm:
1. Does this issue occur with other network printers?
2. Does this issue occur when printing a text file?
If this issue just occurs with HP LaserJet P4015n, it is caused by the specific printer driver.
Now please perform the following steps to troubleshoot this issue.
Clear spool file
1. Stop the spooler by doing the following:
a. Click Start , Settings , Control Panel , Administrative Tools , then Services .
b. Scroll down the list of services for the Print Spooler.
c. Right click Print Spooler and click Stop .
2. Delete the spool files
a. Open My Computer.
b. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ .
c. Delete all of the files inside of this folder.
3. Restart the spooler.
a. Click Start , Settings , Control Panel , Administrative Tools , then Services
b. Scroll down the list of services for the Print Spooler.
c. Right click the Print Spooler and click Start.
Change the spooling format
Set the spooling format to RAW, and then try to print directly to the printer instead of spooling the print job. To do this:
          a.       Click "Start", point to "Settings", and then click "Printers".
          b.       Right-click the printer that you are using, and then click "Properties".
          c.       In the Advanced tab, click "Print Processor".
          d.       Set the default "Data type" to "RAW" for both "WinPrint" and "ModPrint".
          f.        Click "OK", click "OK" again, and then close the Printers dialog box.
Does it work?

Print job won't delete on my 8600

I have a print job in my que that is stuck in delete mode. I did change print cartridges halfway through that print job, though I am pretty sure it did get finished the other day.

I have a Dell C3760dn printer set up as a network printer on my server. 2003. There is a print job that will not delete. Two questions:1) short of uninstalling and reinstalling this printer, how do I get the document to delete? I've gone into the control panel, Devices & Printers, found thenetwork printer, right clicked, cancel all documents. Didn't delete.I have stopped, restarted the print spooler, there's nothing in the Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS file. I've tried deleting the document in the queue directly from my server and from the end user that generated the print job. I've never had this problem before. It only affects Photoshop CS6 and CS5 that I have installed. I'm running MAC OS 10.9.5
I have three printers and HP and two Epsons, and I get this dialogue when trying to print from Photoshop CS6 or CS5.

Other applications print fine on all three printers. I tried deleting the Photoshop Prefs numerous times without results.

Have you printed to this printer from 10.10 before? If so, check your connections.

Envelope in print queue will not print.

Envelope on print queue will not print. other documents print ok.
I tried "RESTART" of the document to no avail.
problem started after I ran the utility to clean the rollers because envelope would not feed. In the past this has worked fine.
I can print regular documents, just not envelopes.

That means there's no videos left on the iPad, and the downloads aren't really there.
Sounds like a job for Apple Support. They'll have to remove the downloads from the queue to clear the iPad.

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are having trouble printing. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
Troubleshooting printer issues in OS X
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.
Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.
If the issue still persists, reset the printing system again. Download and install your printer's drivers. Then, add the printer again.

u can actually force it to delete, oviously i assume you dont have the application or data etc open neware else?
try restarting your computer, go into finder close all your open applications etc, servers, **** even clear your data in your web browser, do a disk utility check and verify your drives and repair em if nessicary.

They are not on the iphone in the first place. It is just a setting that allows you to see the songs that are available in icloud, but not on your iphone. If you turn the setting to off, then you no longer see the songs that are in icloud, but NOT on your iphone.
