  • Printing Maintenance Orders

    Dear Masters,
Can you please guide me how to set the print layout of the order? My client's requirement is, they want a hard copy of the order to be printed as per their required layout.
Is it possible to do so? What is a Shop paper? Is it the same we have to use it for this? If yes, how?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
In OIDF, define the shop papers designed by ABAPer for your requirement.
Then in OIDG, based on order type, you can differentiate the shop papers to be printed. If you going for common shop paper for all order types, mention * in document type.
In OIDH, based on user, you can define the shop papers to be printed. So that, that user can print only the allowed shop papers.

  • Date format when printing Maintenance Order

    Dear Colleagues
When I print a Work Order, I'm getting the date format as DD-MM-YYYY
I know that I can change this format in the User Parameters, however I need to modify a huge number of users.
Question 1) Is there a way to setup the date format independent of the user parameters?
Question 2) I'd like to have the date like this: JAN-01-2010. But I don't have this option in the User Parameters. Do you know how can I do it?
    Thank you for your help

    Davison,
Its not possible using user settings. All you would need to do is copy the SAP SCRIPTForm  program(You can keep the Print program as such) and set date mask as required in SAP script text editor using command
/: SET DATE MASK = 'MMMM DD, YYYY'
Now the date variable value written out on the screen would be
    &DATE& -> JAN  01, 2010
You could revert to standard settings using command
    /: SET DATE MASK = ' '

  • Output Device - Shop paper

    Hi All,
    I have little query.
While Printing maintenance Orders, how the output device (default printer) is linked with Shop Papers.
If it is through SU01 - I have changed the Default printer in the same and yes it is reflecting in print Order against few shop papers
BUT it is NOT reflecting for all the Shop Papers.
How the linkage is maintained between Shop Paper and Default Output Device i.e. Printer.
Kindly through some light on this.
    Thanks

  • HP x64 printer--won't take glossy photo paper

This printer will not take glossy photo paper--it simply grinds and message reads "Out of paper".  It will print matte photo paper and regular paper, but not glossy photo.  I bought HP glossy photo paper and that won't even work.

    Hi,
What is the exact paper type?
The printer specifications does not list Glossy Paper as a supported media, any supported media is listed under Paper-handling specifications > Supported photo paper:

What is the exact media type and weight, that may also help identifyig the issue, the exact paper type should be listed on its packaging...

  • Printing Shop Papers from Maintenance Order Urgent !!!

    Hi All,
I am in need of Printing Shop papers from Maintenance order , i know that the configuration of this thing is done through SPRO
Plant Maintenance and customer service ->
Maintenance and Service Processing -> Maintenance and Service Orders -> Print Control -> Define Shop Papers, Forms and Output Programs
, but i want that when we give Print command through Maintenance order a smartfrom should trigger which i have developmed.
My problem is that i am not able to configure the Print control for SMARTFORMS.
What to do , Please suggest.
    Regards,
    Rachit Khanna

    Amol,
Standard config doesnt provide the functionality to set the default selection dependant on PLANT. You will have to get the help of developer to do an implicit enhancement (Only If you are in ECC 6.0) to accomplish the same.

  • Print Out of Check List In Maintenance Order.

    Hi All
I just added one checklist to the Long Text in the tasklist of an equipment.
In the checklist there are some tabular cloumns, lines, square box, etc...
But when i take a print out of the checklist/Orerations from the maintenance order the tabular cloumns, lines, square box, etc...
are not shown in the print out.
Pls. Suggest some way of adding the checklist with tabular cloumns, lines, square box, etc...
    Venkat

    Venkat,
Long text doesn't support table formats.
You could get around it by having those fields maintained as characteristics and then generating a table while printing forms with that data using  Adobe forms, smartform or sap script.
If you would still like to maintain the same in long text, it can be done by drawing vertical and horizontal lines using "|" AND "_" .Its tedious and ugly process, but you could get what you want. However the you may have to go through a iterative process to get the format right. It would be easier if there were just two columns.

  • Printing shop paper for Service Order

    Hi,
I can see for service orders (IW31) shop papers are used to print documents. And shop papers are basically written in sapscript. They are configured in SPRO for each order type along with their program name and subroutine name and form name.
But my requirement is I want to show a document currently stored in Business Document Service(OAER) when order print button is clicked. I have a program which currently shows a document stored in BDS in a screen upon executing it. But if I configure that program name in SPRO I get a runtime dump.
Could anybody please help me on that.
    Regards,
    Mainak

    OK...try this:
in OIDB (notification) remove the selection check for all generic entries - this determines what is shown when you try to print.  For example, if you have a setting for doc.type = * and it is checked for selection, each of those will appear when you print.  By removing this selection check for doc type = *, it won't appear for yours.  You should put a line there for your doc type with the selection checked.  If you put a second line there for your doc type without the 'selection' checked - it will show, but be optional when you do a print.
In OIDG (work order), follow the same logic.  Once you print the order, it will propose to print the notification as well (either selected or just available).  Also, i think you should link the notification and order types in work order config.
This works when you are printing a work order, but i'm not sure if you can print the work order from the notification.  I just tried this in my system and did get the notifications to print while printing the work order using the settings i've mentioned.

    Dear All,
I have created one b/d maintenance order which is released, now I have to take a print out of shop papers.
For this I have ref. following menu path through IW32 transaction
    Order>Print>Order
Then one window will get pop up u201Cselect shop papersu201D in this window I can see various shop paper keys. I can see 12 shop paper keys.
From that list I need only 3 shop paper keysu2019 which is as follows, and only these 3 keys must be seen in that pop up.

  • IW38 printing several MO with only one shop paper choice

    Dear Gurus,
I would like to use the t-code IW38 to print several MO on same time however I would like also to select the shop paper just one time instead many time for each MO.
If I deselect all document type on t-code OIDG the sap asking me for each order what kind of shop paper I would to select. If I have a lot of MO it becomes tiring.
So I want to select the list of MO and select the shop paper to be printed only once. Is there anyway to me get it?
    Best regards,
    Wagner Silva

    Hi Wagner
You can try one thing which is in the default settings, set up the printer settings as follows. Make sure that the Display Dialogue box is not selected. Remove if it is selected!
The setting can be done for each user by IW32 --> Select any order --> Extras --> Settings --> Deafult Values --> General TAB --> Display Print Dialog Box SHOULD NOT BE SELECTED.
    I hope this will work.
    Cheers

  • Shop Paper for Notification and Order

    Hi All,
I have assigned shop paper for both Notification and Order. Now when I am trying to print the Order or Notification via Maintenance Order or Notification respectively, both the outputs are in the selectable mode since order is created from notification.
But user wants that when he is trying to print Order only shop paper for Order should be in selectable mode and same for Notification. I checked the configuration settings for this but could not find anything.
Are there any settings where we can achieve this.
