  • Adding Storage Bin Number to Material Issue Slip - RIPRGI00

    Hello,
I have a request to add the storage bin number  to the Material Issue Slip with output type zpmm. However, I need help on where in the code I need to add this field. I know a program change needs to happen in RIPRGI00, and the SAPscript  layout Z_PM_COMMON needs to be changed too. I believe the storage bin number field is RESBD-LGORT. Please correct me if I'm wrong so far. Your guidance is appreciated.
    Thank You!

If you're talking about MM Storage Bin it is maintained in MARD-LGPBE.
It's maintained at material master level in "Plant/stor data" view 1. (you need to enter the storage location in org. level in MM03 to be able to even see the field.

  • Picking List / Material issue slip

Kindly let me know the process of printing a Picking list / Issue Slip for a material issue from a DBM Service order.

    Dear Babudhar,
There are no standard actions delivered to print any picking lists along with DBM 6.0.
An event call be built in (to print the list) which could be linked to Confirm event as a subsequent event. So, as soon as the order if confirmed, the new event can print the list for you.
    Hope this info helps.
    Best regards,

    Hi
You can directly do a goods issue to projects , as well as by creating areservation you can perform.
Create a reservation for the Projcet using movement type 221 & special stock indicator Q.
Using the reservation in MB1A, create the goods issue.
    Thanks & Regards

During goods issue for a maintenance order, we can take print out of material list (for planned items) and produce the same to stores personnel for issuance of material.

  • No print of goods issue slip for one user

    Hello gurus,
normally, when any of our users posts a goods issue (e.g. for a cost center), a goods issue slip is printed automatically.
Now we have a new user and no such document is printed for him. When someone else logs in from his workplace, everything works fine.
I do not get it. Print control in that area is not user-specific, or is it?
    Thanks in advance
    Alicia

    Hello gurus,
it was no authorization problem either.
In IMG -> Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical inventory -> Output Determination -> Printer Determination -> Printer Determination by Output Type/User there was no condition record for the user and that particular output type.
    Thanks anyways

  • Issue Slip Numbers

    hi,
    what is
    Issue Slip Numbers
    Serial Numbers In Goods Movements

    Hi,
    Goods Receipt/Issue Slip Numbers
    Use
When you enter a material document or a delivery, you can enter a goods receipt/issue slip number (GR/GI slip number) in addition to the material document number.
The GR/GI slip number should only be used in those countries (Italy, for example) where it is required by law for goods that leave the plant and are transported on public roads.
In other countries the material document is usually sufficient, as this is printed on the GR/GI slip number in the standard system. External document numbers can be entered in the fields Material slip and Delivery note.
The GR/GI slip number can be assigned externally as well as internally. You can define different number ranges for each plant, storage location, and movement type.
    Activities
    Printing Goods Receipt/Issue Slips
In the standard system, the GR/GI slip number is not printed on GR/GI slips. If you want to print this number on GR/GI slips, you have two options of doing so
for standard goods receipt/issue slips, you can include the field for the GR/GI slip number in the SAPscript form
you can call up the form MB_XAB using transaction MBXA. This form contains all of the data that is relevant to transport and can replace the standard GR/GI slip
If you replace the standard GR/GI slip,
in Customizing for Inventory management, you have to assign a form version to the print report SAPLMBXA in print control
you have to maintain a printer for user parameter GRD, so that the printout is carried out in the spool
Maintaining Goods Receipt/Issue Slip Numbers When Entering Goods Movements
The initial and header screens for goods movements contain the field GR/GI slip no. (goods receipt/issue slip number).
If assignment of GR/GI slip numbers is active in the plant, you can manually specify a GR/GI slip number when entering goods movements or deliveries. If you do not specify a number, the system assigns it automatically.
    Serial Numbers in Goods Movements
The R/3 System allows assignment of serial numbers to serialized materials. Numbers can be assigned internally (by the system) and externally (by the user).
Maintaining Serial Numbers for a Goods Movement
If assignment of serial numbers is mandatory and you enter a goods movement, a dialog box will appear where you either enter your own serial number for each serialized material or have the system assign the numbers. For example, if you post three pieces of a material, you must enter three serial numbers (or have them assigned by the system).
If assignment of serial numbers is not mandatory, you can select Goto ® Serial number from the detail screen for an item to maintain the serial numbers.
    Stock Transfers
A stock transfer (plant to plant) of materials with serial number management is only possible if the same profile is assigned to the material in both plants.
    Stock Transport Orders
For goods movements for stock transport orders with no involvement of the Shipping component, you must enter the serial numbers manually.
When goods movements for stock transport orders involve Shipping, note the following:
When a goods issue is posted for a delivery, the serial numbers are taken from the delivery.
When a goods receipt is posted for a delivery, the serial numbers are also taken from the delivery. If you enter the goods receipt referencing the purchase order and not the delivery, however, you must enter the serial numbers manually.
    Serial Numbers in Physical Inventory
    Use
When carrying out a physical inventory for materials that have serial numbers, you can enter the serial numbers while you are entering the results of the physical inventory count.
This is possible for the following transactions/events:
Entering the physical inventory count (MI04)
Entering the physical inventory count without reference to a document (MI09)
Entering the count and posting differences in one step (MI08)
Creating a physical inventory document, entering the count, and posting differences in one step (MI10)
Changing the physical inventory count (MI05)
    Serial Numbers in Inventory Management
    Use
It is possible to assign serial numbers in the event of goods movements for individual pieces of material. It does not matter in which application these goods movements are triggered.
Furthermore, the system can perform a stock check, which in turn ensures correct inventory of individual stock. This check takes place at plant and storage location level, as well as for:
All types of stock (for example, unrestricted-use stock, stock in quality inspection, blocked stock returns, stock in transfer, stock in transit, blocked stock)
All special stocks (for example, open order quantity, project stock, customer stock and vendor consignment stock)
    Integration
You must use the component Inventory Management to be able to post goods movements.
In order to assign serial numbers for goods issues from repetitive manufacturing, you also need the component Repetitive Manufacturing.
    Prerequisites
A serial number profile with the procedure MMSL must be entered in the material master record.
If a stock check is to be performed, the indicator of the same name must be set in the serial number profile.
In order that the individual stocks are recorded correctly, you must define the indicator as follows:
The serial number usage for the procedure MMSL must be 03, meaning that the assignment of serial numbers is obligatory for goods movements.
The stock check must be 2, meaning that if the stock data is inconsistent, the system does not perform the posting and issues a corresponding error message.
In Customizing for inventory management you can sort the different types of goods movements into groups using movement type groups. By assigning movement type groups to a serialization procedure you define for the assigned movements whether:
Serial number requirement exists for the materials assigned to the profile
A serial number including an equipment master record is created in inventory management for a goods movement
    Features
Serial numbers can be assigned for goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers and stock transport orders.
You use the serial number usage in the serial number profile to control whether:
The serial number must be entered for every goods movement, or
The serial number cannot be entered for any goods movement
The following information is recorded for the serial number for each goods movement:
    Plant and storage location
    Batch
    Valuation type
    Stock type
    Special stock indicator
Sales order number and order item
Account number of the vendor or customer
    Work breakdown structure element
This information regarding the serial number is also taken consideration in the stock overview.

  • PO Text to be printed in GR-Slip.

    Hi
There is a requirement wherein i have to print the Texts(For ex Quality instructions....) that are communicated to my vendor in the time of Goods receipt at my GR slip.
Is there any way to print such texts which i feed in PO creation at the time of GR to communicate to Quality person.
    - In their legacy system they are feeding the text in PO and get it printed at GR slip with which the Quality person can follow the instructions mentioned by purchaser.
    Thanks in advance.
    R.Kannan.

If you are printing the material document for the goods receipts then my answer would be Yes  it can be done.
The determination of the text needs to be performed in the Script or smart form aatched to the Out put type
You need to include the Text Object EKPO and the Text ID whcih needs to get printed on the Material document.
As all the GR's are performed with ref to PO, you can determine the details for each line item and put the details.
    Please take help from abaper.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Material Issue to Shopfloor

    Hi Expert,
The scenario is, in the begining of the month production personnel takes the material from central store to shopfloor storage location & consume in different different process orders. If required he repeat the same activity during the month.
To get the material from the central store, production guys provide them a reservation slip. Which movement type should be use at the time of creation of reservation? should we use movt type 201 or 311? what is the complete process flow for creating reservation to consumption?
In my case Exicse register will update through Movt type 261.
    Thanx in advance....

  • MIGO - MB02 - MB90 Print material document forms

    Hi,
I want to print out a material document form associated to material transfer within the same plant. Movement 311/411 & 415.
As for today the procedure is to create the material doc (MIGO) -> declare the message associated (MB02) -> print (MB90). Is there a way to suppress the MB02 transaction by adding a button to MIGO? (or any other better way).
    Thanks in advance... points awaiting.

Now the settings are ready for Printing Material  doc
    8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
    9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately.

After setting table, access sequence and output type for GR,run MB02 transaction, enter material document number. Double click one line item and select messages. Separate screen will be opened to configure outputs. Give the required fields and save the document. Now Run MB90, you can take printout. Output Type: WE03 or WE01 or WE02..

  • Confirm using BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT does not print Goods Receipt Slip

We are having issue when perform co11n confirmation, goods receipt slip prints out fine, but calling BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT using the same production order/operation does not print the Goods Receipt Slip. The automatic goods movement works fine with BAPI & co11n.
Has anyone else had this problem?
    Thanks
    David

    Nagarajan,
We have been using this BAPI in production environment for over a year now and basically it has worked just fine. From what I understand, the Goods Receipt Slip has never printed when using this BAPI, but since we only had small areas that were using this BAPI (until recently), these areas either did not need the printed Goods Receipt Slip or a Warehouse was specified, so a Transfer Order was produced instead of GRS.
I was thinking maybe we were not populating one of the BAPI input fields properly, but not sure which one it would be. We currently do not populate the "Posting Date" input field, so thought I would try populating that.
To answer your question, yes, we do the commit work.
    Thanks
