Print() method takes into account Acrobat's settings

Hello,
While I print a document using the Javascript method then the AutoRotate setting which is stored in the registry key of the computer is taken into account.
I mean that it's not possible to force auto-rotate while the bprintAutoRotate registry key is set to false (to set it you just have to open Acrobat and print a document without selecting auto-rotate - to remove it just make the opposite).
Is it normal? By the other hand while the auto-rotate is set to true then I just have to add the flags : suppressCenter and suppressRotate.
Thanks in advance,
Joe

Dear user,
You are getting such output because you have checked ON the setting 'Print to file' in one of your previous prints. For resolving this issue, kindly uncheck option 'Print to file' present in bottom left corner of print dialog and then click on 'Print' (See attached image for reference).
Hope this will solve your problem.
Thanks

  • Does CC alert generation take into account 1/ act or 2/ act+perm ?

    Dear Forum,
    Can somebody shed some light on how alert generation works ? Are only the entries in the action tab of a function relevant ?
    1. Suppose you have alertlog.txt
    $ cat Alertlog.log
    SYS-001 JDOE SM30    2008-07-28      09:15:07                ENDUSER
    SYS-001 JDOE SU01    2008-07-28      09:45:24                ENDUSER
    2. critical action rules
    a) SM30 S_TABU_DIS 02 FC31 = open and close FI posting period
    b) SU01 S_USER_GRP ACTVT 06 = Delete users
    ---> will the "Search Critical Action Alerts" functionality report JDOE or not ? That is, will SAP GRC take the permissions into account yes or no ? If not, than we have false positives.
    Thanks - Sam

    Simon,
    Thanks for the reply
    Can we conclude as follows :
    "SAP GRC Risk and Remediation alert monitoring and alert notification do not take into account any function permissions settings before, during or after alert analysis. By this logic, users will be reported as soon as alertlog.txt line items correspond with items from the action tab as part of functions, regardless the fact those users' user buffer does not have the necessary permissions as specified within that same function."
    I have noticed your email suffix sap.com --> Can I consider your answer as an official answer from SAP to my question ?

  • HS.EXP does not take into account the Value member and the source

    Hello,
    The formula is put in the "Entity Curr Adjs" part of the Sub Calculate.
    The expression is the following and apply for one entity (Holding method) I filtered previously and the ICP Entity has proportionnal method with 50% rate:
    HS.Exp "A#5420.I#[ICP None].C1#REC.C2#[None].C3#[None].C4#Recla_IAS_Aut_RetS_5=
    A#5340.V#[Contribution].E#Logista_E_TBCO.I#UTE_O.C1#CLO.C2#TotC2.C3#TotC3.C4#TotC4"
    The data I would like to retrieve is the one in Contribution Value as I put on the source part of the expression.
    And yet, the data I get is the one of the Entity Currency and Proportion Value, which is different because the ICP has proportionnal method (50%) and the Contribution value is the result of Proportion - Elimination values.
    To sum up: I obtain a data of 50 instead of 25.
    I checked that the data I see in my form corresponds to the source parameters but it seems that it does not take into account the Value parameter.
    Could it be that it is not possible to use a Contribution Value source for an Entity Currency Adjs destination?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    I see another problem in what you're trying to do. First, let me state what you're trying to establish: you are trying to get a value from one entity (say A) to another entity (say B), be it at [Proportion], [Elimination], [Contribution], ...
    My question is: how can you know that during the consolidation process, by the time your code runs on B, A has already been processed and [Proportion], [Elimination] are not empty (or contain values from a previous consolidation run)?
    The answer is "You don't". Theoretically, you have no control as per the order in which entities are calculated/consolidated during the process. Even more complex is the thing that if you have a multi-core machine, more than one entities may run in parallel, but still you cannot force A to run before B. I have done some tests and I've seen that in a one processor setting the order that entities enter in the process of consolidation matches the order you have placed them in the consolidation tree in metadata. Still this thing is not documented as far as I know and therefore you cannot rely on this.
    Finally, I have also seen that in a simple case (B pulls from A), if you run consolidation twice, then you definitely get correct values. By the time you make a change in A, you have to run consolidation twice again to make sure that you get the correct data. I believe that you see that what I'm describing is good for experimenting but not for releasing to a client.
    I tend to think of such a design, as a practice to avoid.

  • Does the SNP optimizer takes into account transportation calendars (time streams)?

    Hello,
    We're trying to limit the days when a transportation lane can be used by including a transportation calendar(time stream) to the means of transport. The receipt days on certain locations, depend on the source-target location relationship so we don't want to do this through shipping/Receipt calendars at the location Level (/SAPAPO/LOC3).
    Example:
    Source A - Target X     Receipt days ( Monday-Tuesday)
    Source A - Target Y     Receipt days (Friday-Sunday)
    Source B - Target X     Receipt days ( Monday-Wednesday)
    Source B - Target Y     Receipt days (Thursday-Friday-Saturday)
    We've tried this in an heuristic scenario, and it works. But when we run the optimizer, it doesn't seems to take into account the transportation calendars; it just creates distribution orders every day depending on the demand at the target location.
    Does anyone knows if the optimizer run should consider transportation calendars, or this functionality is only for heuristics and/or CTM?
    Is there another recommended way to model it?
    Cesar

    Hello Ada,
    As you said, the calendar of the transportation resource overrules the transportation calendar (time stream)
    I tested after removing the transportation resourced and it now uses the transportation calendar.
    However, if a transportation lane has a lead time greater than 24 hours, we need that the system only ships on a specific day from the location source and receives the goods on the next day at the target location.
    For this example,
    Source A -  Target B;  Lead time (48 hours)
    Shipping is allowed on Monday – Receipts should be on Thursday
    if we set Monday through Thursday as working days or periods in any of both types of calendars (resource or time stream) at the means of transport, the system will plan shipments every day from Monday to Thursday, instead of only shipping on Mondays.
    Do you know if its possible to have the behavior mentioned above (shipments on Mondays, receipts on Thursdays)?
    Best regards

    Hello, we are going to start the process of migrating from Oracle E-business suites R11.5.10.2 to R12; we have been doing our custom applications into the APPS schema. Please let me know anything that comes to your mind on what to consider, and if you have a good guidance on how to do it should be great.

  • Sort column doesn't take into account new rows

    Hi,
    I'm using jdev 11.1.2.3.0
    When I add new rows to table and then try to sort any column before commit.
    The sort does not take the new rows into account when performing the sort.
    How could I solve this problem without commit?
    Thanks

    You have to set the query executioner mode to in memory so that the temporary rows are also taken into account when sorting.

  • SQL-tab / refresh button: does not take into account renamed constraint.

    I discovered a small bug:
    1) find or create a table with system generated constraint names (SYS_C007289)
    2) open that table in SQL Developer (I'm using 3.0.04.34). On the constraints tab, there will be the SYS% constraints. On the SQL-tab, the constraints will be shown without a name (simply "not null" for example).
    3) Return to the Constraints tab and use Actions / Constraints / Rename single to rename a constraint.
    4) return to the SQL tab and press the Refresh button. Unexpectedly, the new constraint name is still not in the SQL!
    5) close the entire window/tab for the table
    6) re-open that table.
    7) go to the SQL-tab: now the name of the constraint is in the code.
    As shown above, the workaround is easy, so this is a very minor bug-let.

    Looks like you add an ActionListener to your button <next> every time yuou call buildGui() and, believe it or not, adding a listener more than once triggers additional events. Thus, it's okay on your first loop but on the second it now has 2 listeners and thus will skip 3 and go to four. After this it now has three listeners and will skip 4 and 5 and go to 6 etc, etc.
    // in your buldGui() method
    System.out.println("prints next");
    frameContainer.add(next);
    next.addActionListener(this);
    System.out.println("it has already printed next");

  • Sales orders ans reservations not taken into account on MPS / MRP

    Hello,
    I am implementing the MPS / MRP and I have the following problem:
    I have modified the necessary material master fields to take into account some materials on the MPS / MRP execution. These fields are MRP type, Lot Size, Strategy group and Availability Check.
    Then, executing the MPS / MRP I have realised that only the sales orders and reservations created after the material master modifications are taken into account when I execute the MPS / MRP.
    I suppose this is because the sales orders and reservations created before the material master modifications did not create the requirements because the availability check was not set for the material and so on... but I need to take into account these "old" reservations and sales orders .
    Is there any way to "update" these orders and reservations?? Or I need to delete them and create new ones??
    There are several sales orders and reservations created before the material master modifications. I think there have to be an standard way to update them.
    Thank you very much in advanced,
    Jordi.

    Dear,
    Are you getting these reservation in MD04?
    Check the Planning file entry for these material in MD21 if not then create it through MD20 and take MRP run with planning mode -3 Deleted and recreated. And Processing key NETCH.
    Also check the The firmed receipt is within the rescheduling horizon. The rescheduling horizon is set in Customizing for the MRP group (Transaction OPPR, Table T438M). A default value can be predefined in the Customizing of plant data (Transaction OPPQ, Table T399D). define the longer duration for it.
    The firmed receipt (the MRP element) participates in the rescheduling check. You can set which MRP elements participate in the rescheduling check in the Customizing of the plant data (Transaction OPPQ).
    Else you can carry out modification A using the MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA BAdI and the CONSIDER_RESB method without making a modification.

  • CK11N  Follow-up material not taken into account when costing

    We are running the standard cost with quantity structure and we have detected that all the follow-up information is not taken into account to determine the bill of materials that will be used to calculate the standard cost.
    SAP helpdesk has answered me the following:
    "The situation in product cost planning is we do not check availability of any material stocks, and therefore we cannot provide the same functionality as MRP. You will have to create a new BOM that includes
    the follow-up material or apply the modification to take into account the follow-up part."
    Please, if anyone knows any user-exit we could use to develop something to fix it, we would appreciate it very much. It is a normal process and we can not say it does not work.

    When scheduling a report, the instance time does not seem to take into account Daylight Standard Time. This is probably because the United States is different than the rest of the world. Any chance this will be fixed in upcoming releases? Either that or I can just wait a few more weeks for the world to catch up.

    You are correct, the times you mention do not take the early daylight savings time change into account.
    You should see the times become correct again when we hit the original time change date which I think would have been Sunday April 5 this year.
