Print pay-slip on double-sided

Hello,
We would like to print pay-slip on both side mode (we use ABAP list with report RPCEDTF0).
The print is Ok but the problem is that, on the same page, there are pay data for an employee on the side and pay data for an other employee on the other side.
My question is : how to do to add a jump (new page) after each employee ?
Is it a standard option and how to implement it (ABAP, form) ?
Examples could be help me.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Daniel.

  • Can I print an ALV in double-sided?

    Hi!
Can I print an ALV in double-sided on the page?
    Thanks very much!

    Hi,
the function has parameter IS_PRINT which is a reference to SLIS_PRINT_ALV, which in time has, among others, structure PRI_PARAMS. Some of the many fields that the structure has are PDEST, LINCT, LINSZ and PAART, which can help to determine the output device and format.
As previously stated, your printer must be able to print double-sided and it must be recorded as output device in SAP (trans. SPAD). If you don´t understand this point, never mind since it is more as task for system admin. than for a programmer.
When creating the output device (device class = Standard printer), there´s folder Output Attributes which has field Print Mode. The options for this field are Default, Simplex, Duplex and Tumble Duplex. So, entry duplex does what you pretend.

  • Print each page range double sided as new task

    Hi All,
I have that problem. I would like to double sided print some pages from pdf file - let's say pages 1 to 5. But I want them to print like this - pages 1-2 on the first sheet of paper, page 3 on the second sheet (the other side of this sheet I want to be blank) and pages 4-5 on the third sheet.
If I type page ranges 1-3,4-5 when printing the result will be the same if I would type page range 1-5, so pages 1-2 will print on first sheet, pages 3-4 on the second sheet and page 5 on the third sheet. That's not what I want.
The only solution is to first print pages 1-3 and then open printing dialog box again and print pages 4-5 so they would be two separate tasks for printer. But this is very time consuming when working with large files.
I do not have Adobe Acrobat to insert blank page after each section that is odd numbered so this is no solution for me.
Could you please help? Any ideas how to work this out? Is there any printing set up to print each page range as separate task?
Or maybe there is a way to double sided print odd numbered page ranges with an additional blank page at the end so that the next range would start on new sheet?
    Thank you in adavnce

  • Print A4 as A5 (double sided)?

    Hi
I've got a document with two A4 artboards, which I'm printing double sided on one sheet of paper. Could anyone tell me the easiest way to print it at A5 size, so I'll get two double sided copies per A4 pages?
    Thanks!

Make a pdf and print this from Acrobat. Acrobat has an option to print multiple pages per sheet, under page scaling. I do this all the time for printing manuals and brand standard guides, so I can fit them in my binder with less pages.
For the double sided I cannot answer as every print driver has that menu in a different location. First make sure your hardware is capable of printing double sided, so you dont spend time looking for somehting your printer cannto do. If you have a fiery look for page setup >>fiery options >> double sided or possibly buried somewhere else(pends on your fiery verison/PPD) buried in your print options.

  • When using AirPrint is it possible to select double sided printing

I am trying to use AirPrint to print from the Pages app on iPad Air running IOS 8.1.1. Is it possible to select any of the printer options, such as double-sided printing, when doing this?
    Many thanks

Once you start to print using AirPrint, a display appears where you select the printer and options. Presumably the HP is your only AirPrint printer (as the Epson is mine). On that same screen, I can select the number of copies, and I also see an on/off slider for "Double Sided".

  • Printing double-sided problem, Leopard, Laserjet P2055dn and Quark XPress

I've also asked about this in Quark's forum.
Printing a Quark file double-sided to the Laserjet using Leopard - first third of the sheet (A4 landscape) is blank on both sides).
This does not happen on Tiger, same file, printer and version of Quark.
Printing from any other (text) app (Acrobat pdf, Word, TextEdit, InDesign) whether on Tiger or Leopard is correct.
    Any suggestions, please?

Possible solution for p2055dn and other printers using Leopard

Tried this open source driver idea and eventually got the P2055dn working properly with Leopard.
NB - Follow the instructions and then use the open-source driver instead of the HP one.

  • Printing reports on double-sided pages

Is there a way in Oracle reports to force each record to print on an even number of pages? This is for double-sided printing. Thanks for any help or advice.

I found this on one of the forums, similar to your suggestion:
"I am printing statements on a double-sided stationary capable printer. To ensure that each new statement starts on a new physical piece of paper, I need to add a blank page if the previous statement had an odd number of page sides. How can I do this?
Place an invisible boilerplate line before the repeating frame that contains your data. Give it a Page Break before and anchor it to the repeating frame. Then write a format trigger that only prints the boilerplate object (and thus the page break) if it is an odd page number. "
I've tried this but it isn't working for me. I'm using your logic for printing the page:
    v_page number;
    begin
         srw.get_page_num(v_page);
    if mod(v_page,2)=0
    then
return (FALSE); --if an even page don't print
    else
return (TRUE); --if an odd page do print
    end if;
    end;
Any idea why it's not working?

  • No longer receive dialog box for double sided printing

Usually when printing double sided documents the odd numbered pages print and then I get a dialog box telling me to flip over the pages and click continue and then the even numbered pages print. That box no longer appears after the odd numbered pages print and I'm unable to print the even numbered pages.  1.  How do I get the dialog box back (perhaps someone clicked the box stating "do not show this message again"?  2. If I don't get the dialog box back, how do I print the even number pages without the dialog box?  Currently, the power light blinks and no other documents can print.  I have F380 printer and I have Windows Vista.

    David,
Wow, it worked. Many thanks. This is what I did, following your directions to print PDF files as double-sided:
    01-Command P & Click "Printer button".
    02-Click Yes.
03-Click the Popup Arrow to display contents.
04-Select Two-sided "Long-Edge binding" or whatever needed and Click Print.
    05-Click OK to Print.
What fooled me is that from Word (.doc) files the screen on step 3 and 4 show directly selecting a popup menu on the initial print window, whereas when printing PDF files it is required to go through steps 1-2-3 above.
Again, many thanks. You made my day!!!

  • How do I set up pages to print a 5x7 catalog using doubled sided printing. When I try this layout the inside pages are upside down?

I am trying to print a 5 x7 catalog. When I print it out using doubled sided the inside pages are upside down. Is there a way to setup and print using a 5x7 format?

If your printer does duplex printing (i.e. you're not re-feeding the pages manually), there may be a setting in the print dialog. My Brother color laser has these option when I check the two-sided box. If you see something similar, test the various options & make a note of what works. It took me so many tries to figure out what they meant by long- or short-edge binding!
If you're using something like CocoaBooklet or another program to create a booklet, see if it has an option to turn the second side upside down.

  • Duplex (double-sided) printing

    dear all,
i am able to print duplex printe double-sided from all my reports except the xml publesher report, i check the documationation and found out that i have to set somthing called IPP_SIDES should be IPP_SIDES_TWO_SIDED_LONG_EDGE i dont know where to set that or what is the way to be able to print the xml publishser reports double sided. as i said before i can print all my reports double sided just the xml one i am not able to.
    thanks
    fadi

    Hi Fadi
Apologies for the delay ... so if you are in the EBS then you will need to create a shell script at the end of a virtual printer that then calls a java class that will push the document to the printer. In that class you will be able to set the properties you mention.
The other option is to use the concurrent manager delivered printer support and set the properties via your printer driver escape sequences.
I cover option 1 in the blog for email and fax ... you can apply the same principles for printing.

  • HP Officejet 6700 Premium double sided printing with Word

I have a new HP Officejet 6700 Premium printer.  When printing a pdf the double sided printing option works.  When printing from Word, it does not.  Can you tell me what settings I need to change to make this happen?

    Hi,
From Word click on File and then select Print. the print dialog appears.
Click the Printer Properties link. the Printing Preferences dialog appears.
Within the Layout tab, set the Print on both sides option as Flip on long edge.
Click OK to confirm the changes, than click the Print button.
Please let me know if that helps,

  • Can Print Apps be printed double-sided?

We have an hp Officeject Pro 8600 Premium that supports Print Apps. Can a print app be printed double sided?
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

Depending on the print app, yes.  Only certain print apps have a double-sided option.  If the app has a double-sided option it would be under either settings, or the app will ask you directly if you want double-sided printing depending on the app.

  • Indesign CS 5 Double Sided Printing

    Hi guys,
I have inDesign CS 5 for Mac and i want to print my document (130 pages) on double sides of the letter paper. However, my printer doesn't do double sided printing so I have to print all odd pages at once, then flip the paper over and print the even pages.
Can anyone please tell me how I can go about doing that without selecting every individual page, and clicking print 130 times?
    Appreciate it!!

"Reverse order" is sort of confusing. At initial thought, i thought it's printing from last page to first page instead of first page to last page, thus the term "reverse order"
That's what it does. You can do a test if you like. Make a document of 4 pages with just a page number on each. Print the evens first in reverse, flip the stack over and print the odds in regular order.
