Print PLD

Hello to all. When I stamp a PLD on a printer X, the impression this OK, but when I do it in a printer And, the lines work out discontinuous. Has someone some idea of since solving it?. Thank you.

If you are using a dot matrix only 3 models are supported in SAP B1 as per the Administrator Guide.
If the printer is multifunction fax, printer and copier (deskjet or laser) it is not supported.

1099 Printing PLD

The 1099 form 2 records on a page does not line up correctly. The top part does but the bottom part does not, the information does not line up in the boxes. I can't touch the top part but need to move the second record further down. How can I make the PLD make more space between the records.... Thanks

How to print PLD report on A3 & A2 size papers

Hi,
I want to print the PLD Report on A3 size paper.
In Tally, already this Report is printed as "Sstd Fanfold" paper.
i selected the same paper type in SAP b1.
but it is not displaying properly.
normal A4Traversal it is showing.
plz help me asap.

Hi Nagababu,
If you want to set the PLD Report to Print on a different (A3) size paper, Couple of things you may need to check.
The printer where you intend to print on A3 should be set as the printer in the PLD document properties. From the design mode of PLD, click on <b>Print layout designer on the top menu</b> and Click <b>Display Document Properties</b>
Go to Paper format Tab > Select the Printer which you want
Doing this will expose the different Paper formats available on this Printer.
Now, for the Paper format drop down select the A3 / whichever Paper format you want.

Check Printing PLD

Hi Guys,
I am trying to design check using PLD which is Check Stub Stub.What customer need is data to get picked up from Invoice showing details of what is the total amount,how much is paid and what is the remaining amount.
I tried by picking up value from database directly also tried using the variables but it is not worming.

Some of the reports in SAP are hardcoded. It is not possible to find system variables and modify system layout.

Print pld variable

Hi,
in sap b1 which table sap use to memory the variables? i want to find variable 61 ( total payment for an invoice) and i want to find its table, if it is possible? thanks a lot

As I see the variable 61 is the RCT2.BfDcntSum or RCT2.BfDcntSumF depending on the currency.

Crystal Report unable to print out throught Remote Desktop from server

Dear All Expert,
I am facing problem when print a crystal report layout from SAP B1 8.8 through Remote to Server, print to Client machine. It will promt out Error Message "thunking spooler apis from 32 to 64 process has stopped working fix", but if print PLD, then it is work. Any Idea? Client machine using Windows 7 facing this problems, earlier using windows XP is fine. Thanks a lot.

fyi, I have Turn Off UAC for the client machine (Win 7 32 bit), do the checking from command prompt (srf/scannow), uninstall the printer driver and reinstall the correct printer driver for server (windows server 64 bit), client machine (win7 32 bit), reboot the machine. Do the setting from internet option > Advance>
1. Allow active content fro CDs to run on My Computer*
2. Allow active content to run files on My Computer*
3. Allow software to run or install even if the signature is invalid.
But all of the above could not resolve the problem happen. It happen only print SAP B1 8.8 crystal report layout. Others PLD layout is able to print. Please Advice.

Check Printing on two Different pages

Hi all,
Is it possible to print one page PLD on two Different pages. Actually my client wants to print one PLD on two different pages, he wants that one page print the acknowledgement letter and then vendor name, amount, date, amounts in words should be printed on the checks.

Check Printing PLD is hard coded in the system. I don't think you have any easy solutions for this. If you tried already, you must know it already.

Check Form/Script

Im working on Check script form whereas i find difficulties whiel printing the details in original cheque thru Dot matrix printer.
The problem is, the name of the bearer (text) when printing in the row line is going differently on each document no. including the amount in words and figures.If is set for one document correctly,it may differ in another document.
Pls advise, how i can set it correctly or it'll be better if i go by Smartform.
The current calling program is script based one.if its good to go by Smartform,then if anyone having std program for Smartform print, pld post it on ur reply.(SAP ECC6.0 version)

This is a printer problem.Try to adjust your printer settings.

Hi Friend,
If you are correcting alignment for text in one document through white spaces then it can be different in anotehr document.
To fix the alignment use TAB of paragraph format. It will be fixed for different documents. Check the window size, enlarge it bit...

I am working with a Software Developing firm as an SAP Consultant.
Please tell me how to create a new customized report displaying various details as required by the client in the report using PLD or Query Print Layout.

You can create queries using the Query Generator or the Query Wizard tools.
After you have created your own queries, you can link them to a required print layout.
for user reports.Look at:
Tools --> Queries --> Query Print Layout
Set there your query reports.
Printing User-Defined Queries
After you had linked a user-defined query to a user report template, you can now print it
according to its linked print layout.
There are two ways for printing your user-defined queries.
1. Using the Query Print Layout window:
Select from the upper menu Tools 􀃆 Queries 􀃆 Query Print Layout.
Click the Reports tab page.
Click to highlight the required query you would like to print.
Click on the printer icon or select from the upper menu File 􀃆 Print.
The user-defined query is printed according to its linked print layout.
2. Using the Queries Manager window:
Click the Queries Manager icon on the upper tool bar.
Click to highlight the required query you would like to print.
Click on the printer icon or select from the upper menu File 􀃆 Print.
The user-defined query is printed according to its linked print layout.
Note! You can also print preview user-defined queries. Do so by selecting the Print
Preview option as described in the methods above for printing your query.

How can I print a PLD report by code?

Hi people!
How could I print a PLD report by code? or Is that possible to fill a PLD and print it?
For example: I want to print a invoice automatically by code. I did it clicking the printer button by code, but that's not the best way, because the printer dialog is opened.

How can I print more than 16 lines in an invoice PLD

Hello, Im currently using SAP 2007 SP1 PL09.
I cannot print more than 16 lines in my PLD invoice. I have tried making the repetitive area longer, making the end of report and the page footer shorter, I tried setting the "lines in repetitive area" to 50 and I also increased the max rows per page and the only thing that seemed to work was setting the "print with vertical compression" in the invoice print preferences to a value under 100.
is this the only way I can solve my problem?

Jst increase the height of the layout go to doucment properties change the height there to 1200 and see u can get more than 26 records per page

I dont want to print the PLD in PDF.
I have Annexture copy in PDF which has to along print with PLD at the end of PLD print.
I have stored this PDF in attachment folder on B1_SHR.
and given the link option in UDF on Sales Quotation.
Now I want If i click on PLD print first PLD should be print then automatcally the PDF has to print which has to attached with UDF.
