Print prep in CMYK? - help, please

I have created some tables in Numbers with color fill headers. I've selected the colors using the CMYK sliders. I have copied and pasted the tables into an InDesign document that will be professionally printed. The InDesign doc is in CMYK, as it must be for print. However, the tables copy and paste as RGB.
I then tried exporting the tables as pdf and converting them to CMYK in PhotoShop. However, when converted the colors are not as I coded them with the CMYK sliders in Numbers.
I need to colors to be coded perfectly in CMYK so they match other colors in the document.
Can anyone please help with this?
Note to Apple: I would like to use iWork at a professional level, but issues like this make it very difficult.

Little if any participation, occasional monitoring, but mostly for TOU compliance.
For communications to Apple, the Feedback channel is the preferred (and direct) path. Current Apple applications have a Provide XXX feedback item in the Application menu (e.g. In the Numbers menu in Numbers, you'll find Provide Numbers Feedback). The menu item connects to the same web form as the link in this message.

Go to Control Panel > Printers and delete all old instances of the printer.
1. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by browsing to its IP address before continuing. Get its IP from a Network Test printed from the front panel of the printer.
2. Click >> Start >> Control panel >> Printers.
3. Click the Add a printer
4. Select Local printer
5. Select Create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port and click Next button.
6. Under Device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under Hostname or IP address, enter the printer's IP address. Click Next.
7. Select Hewlett-Packard from the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model was not listed, then select Have Disk, browse the HP CD that came with your printer and select the first file that starts with hp and ends with inf. Click Open then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
8. If you are asked, use the currently installed driver.
9. It will ask for the Printer name -- enter a new name or use the existing one. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
10. You may be asked to share the printer. Choose NO.
11. The Print Test Page box appears. Go ahead and print it.
12. Click Finish.

Is that model a wifi printer? As far as I know, there are no kodak printers that are air print enabled. So you have to use a third party helper of some kind.
Look on Kodak's site. They have options for various models. There might be an app that will help, I believe some models also work with google documents.
If none of those work then you can look to third party apps. I have Print n Share and it works with my iPad, but there's also Printopia and Print Central and I'm sure there are others.

I have never had this problem before. when printing a playlist insert, all printing is running together. A friend told me he is getting the same thing. I recently downloaded the latest itunes version. Is the problem on my end or your end. Thanks for your help.

This issue has been resolved - my Support Advisor, Edgar, was able to discern what was causing the problem.
It appears that, despite years of never experiencing this, one of the latest ipod updates actually altered my device's personal settings and changed it to "Manual" for all synchronizing; even performcing Factory Restores did not change it back to being automatic.
My ipod is working as good as ever now thanks to Edgar. If anyone else is having this problem, please make sure you check your device's settings in iTunes and see if "Manual" is checked - even if you never changed the settings yourself and have no reason to suspect that to be the problem, as was the case here. If it is checked - uncheck it to enable automatic syncing.
So relieved this was not a much more serious problem. I've missed having my music on the go. Thanks, Edgar!

My updated Reader 11.0.06 now has a non working 'Poster button in the print window.. Help please?

I use the poster function to print large images as tiled letter pages through my desktop printer.
Recently updated to 11.0.06 (by itself actually...and I just noticed that the Poster button in the print dialog window simply does not work now.
How can I get it back to working.
Tried the "repair' drill but it accomplished nothing.

Oooops . Updated the driver on my Brother Laser printer and the 'Poster' button came alive.. once again.

Print to miniDV tape-- help, please

I am trying to print from FCP to miniDV tape (specifically via a DCR-VX2000). When I select "Print to Video" I can see the image played on the camera's LCD screen, but I cannot get it to record. I am in VCR mode and I push the RECORD button before starting. Um?

The write protection tab is not engaged-- I mean it is not locking the camera and it should be able to record.
FCP will prompt me to hit Record and then OK. I will hit Record on the camera. The tape in the camera will begin to play the bit of black I put at the beginning of it. I will hit OK in FCP to begin "printing to video" and the image won't show up.
Alternatively, I can not hit "record" at all, and then the image will appear.
I hate technology. I don't have the manuel for this camera, but it is strange.
I've now used another camera so I do have the footage on a miniDV tape, but I'm still annoyed in the general direction of the Camera 1.

Suddenly not able to print... Help Please

I have a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.4.11. I have always printed to an HP Photosmart C5200 series printer without any problems. Now suddenly, I can not print from any application. The printer works from my iMac that runs Leopard. The only changes would have been the automatic updates that run. I uninstalled the printer and then reinstalled. Then I uninstalled and installed a new printer. Still doesn't print. The printer doesn't even "pop" in the dock. When I try to print from Entourage, I get an error that says "an error occured while printing. Not enought memory." When printing from Word I get an error that says "Word cannot print due to a problem with the current printer. Make sure you have a printer selected in Print Center. You may need to print again or adjust your printer settings." I don't believe the issue is with memory or the printer.
Any ideas?

Can you print with a NON-microsoft application?
Consider booting the MB Pro from the Tiger Install disc holding the "c" key down. Select language, then from the Utilities menu, select Disk Utility. In Disk Utility, in the left pane, click on your hard drive and in the right pane, click on the First Aid tab. Near the bottom, click Repair Disk. If it finds any errors, it will try to repair them and then re-run the test again. After it re-tests without errors, click the Repair Permissions button. Reboot computer and launch Disk Utility in the Utilities folder and run Repair Permission from there.
Try printing.

I have a Hp photosmart plus B210a just trying to print out some photos and they are very very dark The photos themselves are light and of a high Dpi any suggestions anyone ??? please they are of my son's wedding so are very important to me

What program are you printing from? What operating system? What are the printer settings for paper type and quality?
If you are printing from a program that allows selection of CMYK or RGB printing then select the RGB setting. Even though the inks are CMYK the driver is expecting RGB data.

I have tried the printer with my laptop (not updated) and everything is fine. It's just the beautiful 27" Imac that can no longer print.

Might be a corrupted printer preference file ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Preferences
Click Go
Move the com.apple.PrinterPrefs.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac, restart the printer...
