'Print Preview' in Me22n/23n and thru ME9F and PROCESSING STATUS

Hi ,
We are taking print of Purchase Order thru "Print Preview" button available in ME22N / ME23N.
Although the print out is perfect but system is not changing the processing STATUS of message 'output type'.The status remains YELLOW ( processing program has not started yet).
While If I take the print of same purchase order thru ME9F , we are getting the same Print and the status of output type also gets changed to Green " Processed Sucessfully".
Could u pls let me know what is issue at my end.

Dear,
The system always creates a new version when the purchasing document has reached a final state.
This means one of the following processing states:
● Active
If you do not use the document release functionality
● Release completed
If you use the document release functionality
For a new version of a purchasing document to be created, all messages must have also been transmitted.
No new versions are generated for purchase orders that are on hold.
Not every change to an external purchasing document results in a new version. The following changes lead to a new version:
● All print-relevant changes
You define which changes are print-relevant in Customizing for Purchasing under Messages ® Fields Relevant to Printouts of Changes.
● Changes in document assignment
● Changes in address
Address changes result in a new version only if the field ADRC-NAME1 has been defined as a field that is relevant to printouts of changes.
● Changes to master conditions
Changes in master conditions result in a new version only if the field EKPO-NETPR has been defined as a field that is relevant to printouts of changes.
Version Data
You will find the version data:
● In the item details on the Versions tab page in Enjoy purchase requisitions (ME51N, ME52N, ME53N)
● In the header data on the Versions tab page of Enjoy purchase orders (ME21N, ME22N, ME23N)
● Under Header ® Versions in RFQs, conventional purchase orders (ME21, ME22, ME23), contracts, and scheduling agreements.
There you can maintain version data (e.g. reason for change) and complete the version. In addition, the Value change field shows you whether and to what extent the value of a requisition or external purchasing document item has changed in comparison with the previous version.
You can display the change documents for one or more versions by selecting the relevant versions and choosing Display Changes.
Please check accordingly.

i am working on sap script on purchase order.
i copied medruck script and removed logo. now i am seeing print preview of this in me22n.
wen its indian currency amount is showing like this      5,500.00 inr
this is ok
but for us currency   it is showing like this                   5.500,00 usd
i want this us curency also in 5,500.00
i changed the settings in oy01 tcode for us and kept the decimal format wat i required. but it is not taking.
can any body help me.

how do i fix my printer when it won't show the print preview for web pages? it worked for a while and now it doesn't. printer is an hp officejet 7310 all-in-one.

I would suspect this is a hardware issue. The rollers are probably having issues picking up the relatively smooth thick media. You might have better results be cleaning the paper pickup rollers with a damp paper towel. Also make sure the paper is snugly loaded and the paper guides have been correctly positioned.

Won't print but 1/2 of the page from firefox, and only show half of page on print preview, but will printwhole page from IE and quickbooks.

When trying to print anything from the Web, only the left portion of the page will print, nothing from the middle to the right of the page showing. It shows this on the print preview. I tried taking it off shrink to fit and it still doesn't show the right half of the page, the print is just larger.
I can print anything from Internet Explorer and from Quickbooks, but not from Firefox. I have downloaded all of the versions up to 5.0. It did print before upgrade, but I don't remember which version actually worked.

That did fix it, thanks so very, very much! I went to the " prints to a small portion of the page" and changed the paper size to A4 like it said and it worked immediately. This was the first time that I found this particular information listed on Firefox after looking at numerous questions/answers. Again, thanks so very much!!!!!!

Print & Preview of iBook does not show titles and comments.

iphoto used is 6.0.6 (322) I Don't know if this is a 10.4.11 or 10.4.4 problem.
problem: iBook prints contain pictures but not title or comments using Epson C60 or HP 1530 printers. Titles and comments are not visible in "preview" but picture is ok. Mac used is an intel Core Duo with system 10.4.4.
However, prints are ok, i.e., have title, comment, picture using the same HP 1530 or an Epson Stylus Photo 1250 on a Pwr PC G4 with system 10.4.11.
The Intel is the preferred unit.

In print or print preview I only see the 1st page and can only print the 1st page

to my printer or to and Adobe file, but with IE I see all the pages which are formed and can print them. How do I correct this in Firefox

ME23n and Print Preview

HI experts,
I am actually abaper but also look into some MM issues.
I am really sorry if i have posted in a wrong forum.
Well i can view the PO print preview in ME22N but if print preview in ME23N it is giving a message
'No message found'.
Recently the MM functional consultant have configured a new PO type.
So i have done the changes to the smartforms but i m sure that will not give effet to the me23n.
ME23n is working fine for all other PO type but it is not only working for the new PO type.
Please guide me.

HI,
For the automatic determination of message type we have to maintain in the T code MN04-automatic determination of the message type.
SO in this tcode for the Smart form you have developed ,they should have been a link done to a message type in NACE T.code.
so take that output message type and go to MN04 and maintain for the new PO document type,so that it automatically trigger the same.
For Time beign.only for that PO if you want to get ,then just in the ME22N,Click on the Button Messages
there in add the ourput message type ,Partner function(VN) and the Out put type (print,email ..) and the other option..whether you want it immediately after saving (4) or transaction based then it should be (3)
so the above options,you would get the print preview.

I am trying to make a spreadsheet, and have inserted numerous check boxes. On the screen itself, look great - but when I print preview it is like the text moves and the check boxes are in the middle of the words.
I am using Excel 2013 - I tried to insert pictures but it would but it would not let me.
Any assistance would be awesome - thanks.

Hi,
Do you have the long text in one cell and use the wrap feature? If it is, we can use Alt + enter to wrap in the cell in stand of using wrap feature.
The print preview should looks similar with original document.

On the other hand, the issue also may be caused by the printer, we can export the Excel file to PDF/XPS file and then print it to test.

Problem with window.close() and print preview in IE

Hi all,
In IE, when window.close() or self.close() is executed, the window is closing perfectly. But when after opening a print preview window from file menu in IE and after closing the print preview with [X] button, then the window.close() is not working. Is there any solution to close the window even after closing the print preview window? here is the sample code.

Deleted line item not display in Print preview

Dear All ,
Pl guide that when i delete the line item from a P.O then this deleted item is not visible in Print Preview .pl help what are the exact setting due to which i can know why this del item is not coming in Print Preview.

HI,
Using the standard programm and print form the system works as follows:
When you will create a new Purchase order with two line item. System
will create new message record with Change message flag (NAST-AENDE) as
space and processing status (NAST-VSTAT) as 0 "not processed".
After this if you will output the message using ME9F then system will
update the message processing status NAST-VSTAT as 1 "Successfully
processed".
When you will delete line item 10, at that time system will create
one more message record with indicator Change message flag
(NAST-AENDE = X ) and processing status 0 "not processed".
Now system contains two message records in table NAST, one for which
processing has been done and one change message record for which
processing has not been done.
If you will run ME9F with processing status 0 then this means you
wants to output the change message record means you wants to inform
your vendor that item 10 has been deleted. That's why system show
line item 10 but you can notice in print preview, system mentions that
item 10 has been cancelled.
If you will run the message with processing status as 1 then this is
not change message output means system will show you latest print
of purchasing document and thus will not show line item 10.
Please take the print out of both message record and you can see the
difference.

Execute the ME9F tcode and execute you will get lot of PO's select any Po and press display message
you will see the print preview
Similarly for RFQ output use the Tcode ME9A
for Contrat use ME9K
for GR output use MB90

SAP CRM 7.0 Print Preview Functionality.

We are using the SAP CRM 7.0 system. But i am not able to get the functionality of print preview (webclient) whenever i am trying to print a Application Form that uses an SAPscript.
Can any one please help me on this issue.
It seems the system generates the error when "call dialog DISPLAY_OTF".
I get the following message in my print preview box:

I want to print preview an service order true transcation CRM_IU.
Then logged on to the webclient i open an service order then i click on the print preview button.
After this is select the option confirmation_letter (this is an application form with sapscript).
--> when i put breakpoints in the Function module: DISPLAY_OTF.
on the following points:
call function 'WS_QUERY' --> i get sy-subrc return 1? is this normal for print preview?
after that the system generates the message when the following is done:
      call dialog 'DISPLAY_OTF'                "ABAP-List-Preview
           exporting otf itcpp 0
           importing itcpp.

Missing columns in print preview of ALV Grid

In a report using ALV grid the output is ok in ALV grid when press print preview the 1st column is always missing and the 1st row shift by 1 character. Why is it happening. The same is happening in print out or when list saved in excel also.

Unable to get chinese character in print preview or in printout

Hi Gurus!
I have searched in SDN before posting this thread, as i could not able to find solution for my problem.
In VL02n - Delivery note - my user gives the customer part number sometimes in English and sometimes in Chinese.
Now i am facing the problem - i could not able to see any chinese characters in print preview ( it shows some garbage characters sometimes and sometimes #### ) and in printout - i see ####.
The things i have done is:
i have activated the multibyte functionality in local layout (ALT + F12) - I18N.
Checked the printer output device - in SPAD - the device type is 'CNSAPWIN : MS WINDOWS DRIVER VIA SAPLPD'.
In control panel - regional and lang. options - install east asian languages has got tick mark
So what else i need to do to get the chinese characters in print preview as well as in print out.

Also, for me in PDF, i could not able to view the print preview at all. I am using Adobe Reader 7.0 and it is saying chinese simplified font is installed. but not able to view it. it is again and again asking to install it.
may i know how you able to view it in PDF? or Are you using any higher PDF version?

An Error while print preview (PLD) in all Data base

After creation of UDF, i have assigned a database table for the same in PLD but i was not getting Print preview.Now i hav removed the UDF and im trying to open a printpreview but still im getting the error like
"Internal error(-101)occured(message 131-103)"
Can any one help me....please.In all database im receiving same error.

Could you please check whether the printer is installed on your machine or not. As this error message
usually comes due to non installation of printer. In case this does not help, could you please tell whether this happens only with customised template or system template also.
