Print Preview is different with actual Print

When I try to print a PO, the Print Preview is correct, but the actual Print is not as same as the Preview, because the Item Description row is truncated. The strange thing is that it was not truncated in the Print Preview.
Any body has an idea?

There are settings in the Document Properties for each layout in PLD that can have an affect on how the layout is displayed in print preview.
1) Open your layout in PLD
2) Right-click on the layout and choose Display Document Properties
3) In the Document Properties window, choose the Format tab
The Preview Printing section changes settings when you preview the layout rather than sending directly to the printer. Try turning that option off for the document or changing the Change Size setting.

I am facing a problem in smartforms.In my form there is one date field in the print previem it is displaying as dd/mm/yyyy.But if you take the print it is showing as mm.dd.yyyy.
Can any one clarify why it is displaying like that.

Crystal Report Print Preview presenting users with Database Login

Issue
A user amended a crystal report form, on doing so has now made that Form unavailable to the majority of users to Print or Preview this is in 8.8 PL10. All other users on Previewing are presented with a window Database Login, but this only presents the server name, Database name is blank and greyed out and then there is only Login ID and Password available. If you enter in the database password a message appears stating failed login.
We have access to the SAP server and logged in and get the same message! but on the users machine who amended the Form they can print? any suggestions greatly appreciated

Hi Roger,
The problem sounds similar to what I've had recently, it was resolved by changing the database connection type to SAP Business One in Crystal Reports 2008, I can confirm that using OLE DB or other will still cause the login issue on other machines off the SQL server, the SAP Business one connection solves the issue.
I was fighting with this for hours, hope this helps you all.

Preview not showing in actual size

When you open a group of images, select them all and make Preview open them in Actual size (Why oh why is there not a setting for this - to open all images in actual size!?), why is it that when scrolling between them using gestures just makes Preview show the image resized yet again?

It depends upon the resolution of the monitor used and the Graphics Card used in your system.
Usually it would be 72. but for example above in the Screen shot I showed my PowerBook 17" does infact use 98DPI.
I don't know whether you noticed the drop down box for Zoom level All I have shown is fit to Page but there is also fit to width along with percentages going all the way up to 200%.
If you want you can set back to 99 and change the zoom level you normally see when openning a file.

SQL Script working differently with 8i and 9i

I am facing strange problem with my simple SQL script called from a shell script. It bahaves differently with ORACLE 8.1.7.4 and 9.2.0.1. The machine is same.
sqlplus -s / @Tech.sql WKC625 11 11 '11 22' ""
This is working with 9i but it does't work with ORACLE 8.
Actually what happens is that the argument in single quotes (') is taken as 2 separate argument.
The Tech.sql is :
spool add
insert into TECH values ('&1','&2','&3','&4','&5','');
commit;
quit
I tried putting double quotes also. Is something got changes between ORACLE 8 and 9i.

Are you sure it works in 9?
If you are using UNIX, then the O/S will strip the quotes while processing the arguments. You need to use 2 single quotes around 11 22, just as you have around the empty string at the end.
I believe that Windows does the same, but I do not use windows.

Merging photos with actual size

I am new to photoshop and to the Adobe family. I have a question and hoping to get some help. I am trying to merge two photos and want the merge with actual sizes. One photograph is of a 9ft tree and another a picture of a 3 ft kid. The scales are different for the photos so how can i merge the photos so that they look same scale from their actual sizes.

If you need to see the underlying layer to better assess how much you need to scale you can temporarily change the Opacity of the Layer in the Layers Panel (or by hitting one number with the Move Tool (V) selected; the active Layer will then be set to that number times 10 in percent – so hitting »5« will set it to 50% Opacity).

Receipt Qty in AP invoice does not match with actual receipt qty.

I am facing an issue in oracle Payables module. When we match invoice with receipt while preparing invoices, Quantity received shown in the Receipt quantity block in invoice window does not match with actual receipt quantity of that item. Due to this difference user is not able to book the invoice. Please help me to resolve this issue.

Exactly. What i mean is in the invoice window, There is a block called reciept quantity shown in the lower part. The received quantity displayed in that block is more the actual quantity being recieved. (when we see the recieving transactions). is this a bug?

Replace Unknown Source in EcmaError (JSR223) with actual file name

Hopefully someone here knows how to do this:
In my code, all of the scripts are contained in .js files. Whenever one of the scripts contains an error, I get this:
javax.script.ScriptException: sun.org.mozilla.javascript.internal.EcmaError: ReferenceError: "nonexistant" is not defined. (<Unknown source>#5) in <Unknown source> at line number 5
What bugs me is the <Unknown Source>. Multiple files are in one ScriptContext, and it can be hard to track down an error. It also looks horrible.
Is there a way to replace <Unknown Source> with the actual file name? None of the methods I see support passing a File object, so I'm really confused here.

Totals in BEx query not matching with actual total

Hi,
We have one report in BI, the total for few columns (Given by BI system i.e system generated) for the values of the key figures is not matching with actual total of that values...
I am confused to see, how sap BI can do the totaling mistake...

Please check following things
1. Check key figure aggregation properties, how it is defined, it might have been defined as Avg, Last,first value or it might using exceptional aggregates.
2. Double check your process of validation between cube and bex report for totals.

How can I set preview to open with side pane

Suspect it's playing in Dolby Digital 5.1 - go to settings for audio/video and turn Dolby Digital to off.
