Print preview report running error in client workstation

dear all,
I face an issue in preview report in client,
The report is write in store procedure, using crystal report for the designer. I use OLEDB SQL native clilent.
My report is running well in server
the server os is windows server 2003 , SQL server 2008, SAP Business One 8.81 PL4,Australia localization.
But the problem is on the client work station, it can not preview. some clients only install pure SAP Business one client and using the windows 7.
I also run in windows XP client workstation, it runs well.
Should i install crystal report in client workstation?
Is there any driver or crystal report runtime that i must install first in client ?
Please provide me the link that i can download.

SAP 8.8 Crystal Report Layout problem in client workstation

Hi Experts,
We have import crystal report to SAP Business One as Form Layout or AP Invoice. We have already created the token DocKey@ so it would automatically be printed and will not ask for the document number. The layout works fine using the server workstation but in the client workstation we cannot proceed with the printing because when we click on the preview button, a login window appears with this details:
Database Login
Server Name : gray out or not active
Database: gray out or not active
Login ID: active
Password: active
We tried to enter the SQL login but fails.
Is there any components that we need to install in the workstation before it could function the same way as PLD?

You can try creating the ODBC connection, which is the same as on the server.
Assuming this is the scenario:
1. You write the invoice using crystal report on the server
2. On the server, Control Panel--> ODBC, you have created an ODBC link eg; SAPB1.
3. The report is connecting to ODBC link and pointing to database OECUS
On the client workstation, you need to create:
1. Control Panel--> ODBC, you need to create an ODBC link as on the server.

Report runs fine on some workstations, won't refresh on others--WHY?

I have a variety of professionally-written reports that run and refresh properly on some of our workstations here, but will not refresh on other workstations...why?
Upon attempting a refresh, I get the following error: "Ther remaining text does not appear to be part of the formula." The formulas window also opens and shows the "error" in the formula. However, the formula is correct, and as I said, this same exact report runs fine with no errors on other workstations. All of our workstations are the same, running Windows XP Pro.
I am running Crystal Reports 8.5 on all machines. I did try installing the trial version of Crystal Reports 2008; however, the same error appeared. I have since uninstalled it and reverted back to 8.5, the version for which the report was written.

We've had this problem for several years. Today I actually fixed it. I copied all the dll files from C:\Windows\Crystal from our server (which the report would run fine on) and pasted to the same directory of the problem workstation(s), not overwriting any identical files. There were probably 13 missing dlls, and this seems to have solved the problem.

Unable to print a report- Server Error

I have a java/CR XI (sp3) web application which will display reporters but will not print them. When attempting to print the Crystal report viewer page shows the print dialog page with a choice of printers. When I select a printer and press print. I get a "Server Error" message box that says "An error occured on the server. Printing will be stopped. Would you like to view the error information?" When I say "yes" I get a blank page "PrintControlError.html". There is also a background window that says "Retrieving page 1".

That suggest a communication issue between the ActiveX Print Control and the server.
The ActiveX Print Control posts back to the generating page for each page that it prints out.
If you use [Fiddler|http://www.fiddlertool.com/] (.NET based) or [Charles|http://www.charlesproxy.com/] (Java based) on the client browser machine, are you able to see any error messages in the page 1 request?
ActiveX controls usually hide interesting error messages.

Newbie to BI Publisher..preview report giving error msg in word 2007..

I am new to BI Report. I have installed BI Publisher standalone 10.3.4.1..Generated sample XML file...created report on Bi Publisher and now when I try to do preview it gives me an error message saying that I need to check the path of the file
'D:\Documents and Settings\swatee.jain\Local Settings\Application Data\Oracle\BIPublisher\TemplateBuilderforWord\tmp\441274806764750out.rtf'.
When I go to this location and click on the rtf file..I see my report...Am I missing some word setting....I am not able to generate any BI report...Any help would be appreciated...

We found out what the problem is.
The report was using a wizard table, the table had 8 columns that actually went past the margins of the page. The built in renderer for PDF in the BI publisher desktop does not fail, but the report columns do "fall" off the page when you look close, just by a few characters on the last column but the line making the box around the table IS still printed making the last few characters missing difficult to notice.
The BI Publisher render simply throws the error above and fails.
We removed 2 columns, made sure the report stays in the margins of the report and all works well now.

BUG: preview report template errors with ORA-01002

I've checked on my local install and on apex.oracle.com. I go into the Templates of Shared Components and filter on the Report Templates. Although the preview icon is displayed to allow me to preview the template, I always receive "ORA-01002: fetch out of sequence" on an error page. The only types of Report Templates I have are of type "Generic Columns" so not sure if the problem exists with "Named Columns."
Can anyone confirm this or correct me on this?

I wouldn't mind piggy-backing this to ask if the Report Template "shortcut" links at the top of the page can be updated to account for all sections that are now a part of the Report Template. "Before Each Row" and "After Each Row" sections are not listed in the shortcuts. There are also two shortcuts listed as "Before" and "After" which should probably be relabeled.

Forms & Reports Running Error

I am using the following product for the developements.
1. FORMS 9i DS Release 2
2. REPORTS 9i DS Release 2
i have started the OC4J for both the products.
When i run REPORTS 9i DS Release 2 it is doing fine... the report output is displayed
When i run FORMS 9i DS Release 2 i am getting "FRM-10142" error.
What should i do to resolve this error.
If i need to make some modification in the forms server and report server, pls do give the necessary instructions to implement

Assuming that OC4J instance has been started properly ..
In forms builder go to menu option > edit > preferences, click on runtime tab
In 'Application Server URL', change the URL to:
'http://<hostname>.<domain>:<port>/forms90/f90servlet?'
Or
'http://<hostname>.<domain>:<port>/forms/frmservlet?'
Save the changes and run the form again.

Default Report run error in BPC

Hi BPC gurus,
I am new to this space and I am totally unaware of how to tackle the issue. Your help is greatly appreciated.
We have SAP BPC for MS installed on a single machine.It is SAP BPC 10 SP11.
Everything was working fine till last evening but today we are continuously getting the following error - The issue is this error is extremely generic.

Error print preview, print setup, print Reports

Hi All
I had Primavera P6.7 and worked well I upgrade to 8.2 after update when i make print preview, print setup, print and Reports ====> Run it give me errors like:

Can u Just let me know the Version and edition of Windows like Basic/Professional or Ultimate.
AVAA errors are commonly caused by lack of permissions to the Project Management install directory, the default path is \Program Files\Oracle\Primavera P6\Primavera P6 Professiona
Generally P6 writes a log to this directory. But if the Currently Logged in user does not have Read / Write access to this directory, an error will be thrown.
Solution:
Grant Read and Write access to the P6 PPM installation directory,
by default: \Program Files\Oracle\Primavera P6\Primavera P6 Professional for the Currently Logged In User
Pls Let me know whether this Has Worked For You Or Not.

when i am taking those new doc type in print preview at
item level text is not comming but in old doc types the item level text is comming
i am totaly confused how will i solve this prob

Hi,
This can be controlled through configuration and should be done when a new document type is created. In SPRO, use path Material Management --> Purchasing --> Messages --> Texts for Messages --> Define texts for Purchase Order. You can copy the details from the other order type which works fine.

Button "Print Preview" is different - ME5A

Hi guys.
Hello I'm from the area of Basis, and I do a silly question.
The MM functional consultant wants to know why the Print Preview button previously showed a sheet with a magnifying glass, now shown with two boxes with an arrow.
They were used whenever the button was Print Preview to the previous button.
This I can customize??
We have ECC 6.0 with EHP4. I´m check other system with an ECC 6.0 version and has the correct button.
This happens in the report ME5A when used with ALV list

Are you saying that the two buttons with the arrows both functions as Print Preview?
I have only one button for Print Preview with the arrows. The functional MM says that this is not the correct button. The right button is available in other reports of SAP
Did the MM guy test what these arroes do?
The button with two arrows is working properly to see the print preview report, but users were used in different versions of SAP was the other button to see the print preview
Do not know if this change is standard for SAP ECC 6 version EHP4.
In ECC 6.0 is correct the button.

Crystal report runtime error on print preview

I've built a CR report based on a 'SAP B1' connection type
I pick my tables from the DBO menu and not from the B1 tables menu (not the one which is organized like the SAP main menu)
I open CR application and the report
I click on the print preview button
I enter the parameter
I enter the Company user password in the "Enter connection details below' window
After this step, I've often have a C++ runtime error

I do not understand what makes tihs error to appear or not.
The only solution I've found so far :
Re open the report
Go to DATABASE Manue / Set Datasource location
I change the location of all the table to a new connection source.
environnement : win XP SP3 and CR 12.2.0.290 or Win 2008 serv and CR 12.2.0.290
Have you met the same problem in your editions ? Have you found any solutions ?
