me have a report of cash memo page size 12 by 13.8 cm (5 by 4.8 inch) ,using printer dot matrix
problem is that when me print a single page , printer not stop , its go to end of next page its mean printer print at portarit size page ,
any body help me how me ll handel the printer
any one has a build example pls send me at [email protected] or send me link

Hi,
You need to modify the prt file that your character mode report is using.
the name of the prt file is the value in DESFORMAT system property in your report.

i´ve got a problem with my document settings:
can i change the settings (especially the documentborders) for a single page, without changing the settings for the whole other document pages ?
for example: page 1 --> border left 2cm , right 1cm
page 2 --> border left 4cm , right 1cm

Hello mamamague
All you need to do is select Insert->Section Break. A new page will be started. To adjust the margins you need to select the Layout Inspector (second icon on the top of the inspector) and adjust the margins in there. The Document Inspector still makes global changes and the layout ones are relative to them. It helps to turn Show Layout and Show Invisibles on so you can see what's happening to the document format as you play with these settings.

Printing report at top of the page.

I have a problem in printing my report.I am
using report 3.0 version.When i am printing
my report.I want to print to print at position (0,0) i.e means I want to print
almost top of the page.For me what's
happeing is it leaving quarter inch top of the page and printing.But for me I don't
what to leave quarter inch space from the
top portion.Why I don't want that space
I am diving the page into two equal parts.
In the first half of the page it prints
first record and second half of the page
it's print the second record.When
you tear the page into two half if you
view the pages the alignents of the
field from first page is different from
the alignment of the second page.can any one
suggest me in what procedure I have to proceed.

It's very likely that your printer driver or even the printer itself is actually preventing you from printing at 0,0 - it may not physically be able to print there and is automatically compensating for it.
However if you are using prt files, check to make sure that the escape sequences that are being sent are not causing this - refer to the printer documentation.

I'm printing out various reports, however i always get a final blank page. Any ideas how to suppress this?
Also I would like to get rid of the page number at the top of the page and url address at the bottom if possible.

I change the printer driver to HP Universal Printing PCL 6 and this got rid of the blank pages.

Problem printing report

I have a small problem printing reports which exist of 1 page.
1st report is printed OK
2nd one is bad
3rd one is bad
4rd one is bad
5th is OK again... and so further.
When I choose a different printer, all prints are OK. When I print from another PC on the same printer, all prints are OK.
I assume some settings are disturbing the prints; can anyone suggest where I should take a look?

Print report in OAF

Hi , i have a requirement to print all the values as a report.
say i have a page. For each value i have a check box. oN select of the checkboxes the values needs to be printed.
How do i proceed on this? the report should be displayed as PDF. what should i do if i need to pop up the report as PDF.
Any iText kind of stuff needs to be used here to print in pdf else OAF has this feature.

Adding additional pages to the universal driver's special pages settings

Hi.
Ok I have a 3 tray HP laserjet 4050 printer that we use for printing works orders.
I have it set up so that page 1 will print from say tray 3 and then page 2 will print from tray 1 etc but I really need to beable to get the printer to print pages 3 and 4 from a different tray also.
I am using the HP universal 5.5 driver as the 4050 does not support special page printing. Problem is the Special Page settings (through driver 5.5)only seem to support first and second page printing.
Is there a way to get it to add a 3rd and 4th page to this section?
this issue is now becoming a serious problem for me work wise.

He is using the blog template to create a blog.
The photo on the main page has been highlighted and then selected as a link to the "entry".
Select "iWeb help" form the "help" drop down menu and you will find information about making a blog.
Then go to the section on "working with text and adding links".
If you are really new to this I would recommend you watch the video tutorials that can be accessed from the iWeb "help" menu.

Mass print report

Hello Guru:
We have a requirement to print reports according to master data hierarchy.
For example, we have a query for profit center balance sheet, the requirement would be print the profit center balance sheet by hierarchy, if there are 1000 profit center in the hierarchy, the BI should pass the value to the balance sheet 1 by 1 and print 1000 reports automatically.
Actually the requirement is even more, the BI should send each node to the balance sheet report, if it is a profit center group, print the report for profit center group, otherwise print the profit center report.
I have an idea is define a BEx broadcasting wich will print the query, and develop a program to loop the master data hierarchy, set the variable dynamically and trigger the broadcasting.
Is there any better way to do that?

CS6 page settings using Property inspector will not save [subject edited by moderator]

I have a student who is working on building a webpage using a CSS template. They are trying to change their page settings (for example, the color of their hyperlinks) using the menu at the bottom of the page. However, these settings will not save. Hyperion Anaylzer - how to Print report with information in pages?

Hi, I use Hyperion Analyzer Version: 6.1.1.00206 (from Help | About menu). I created report with pages (on Navigate button selected the Pages). In pages are months (January, February, March, etc). Now I would like to print current report. So I did: 1. click on arrow beside Print button 2. Print Current Report windows is displayed. I selected default options and press OK button. Report is printed, but there is no page information printed out. So on paper there is report without months (January, February, March, etc). How to print report with information in pages? I had the same issue for printing A/R Invoices - I created a Crystal Report based on a SQL View, works fine with A/R Invoice document, but the Draft Invoice printing has 3 pages: 1st page blank, 2nd page with watermark "DRAFT", 3rd page my Crystal Report layout without any data. When printing normally it is only 1 page.
Here is what I did as a work around:
Create two SQL Views, one select from OINV (joining INV1 and other tables needed), the other select from ODRF (joining DRF1 and other tables needed), for the draft printing.
Create two identicle Crystal Reports, only difference are: datasource location (from different views), the "draft" crystal report has a watermark section.
Go to Administration>System Initialization>Print Preferences and uncheck "Print draft watermark..."
Import both crystal reports. Invoice can be printed normally. But the Draft Invoice has more steps: Open Draft document report, change settings so it shows the DocEntry in the Draft Table. Select and open the desired document, hit Print Preview, and enter the DocEntry, it displays the layout with data and "DRAFT" watermark.
This is a workaround. I don't like it because it is not scalable - too much workload if you want to print 100 invoices.
Hopefully someone will provide a better solution.

How can I print a label on the last page of the report in the margin

I would like to display a label on my report but has to appear only on the last page of the report in the margin area or as a footer. I have tried using the solution below that I came across in this forum. This solution only worked if I put the label as a report trailer and not in the margin of the main section of report. The problem of putting the label as a report trailer is that it will only appear at the end of the report on it's own page, i.e. on a new page. I would like the label to appear at the end of the report, on the last page which has the other report details and not to appear on a new page on its own. Could you please help? Thanks.

How to get Report Builder to print a section on the same page

I have a section of my report that is three bands. A header
band, the detail band, and a total line band. Sometimes this
section will get split up and print part on the next page. So
basically I need for this section to print on the same page. I know
that I could insert a page break right above the header, but this
will make my report way longer than it needs to be. I have also
unchecked "split allowed" for that band also but that didn't make a
difference. Is there some way to group three bands together so that
if it is two big to print the section on the current page then
print the whole section on the next page. It is driving our
accounting lady nuts because when she likes to verify that the
totals are coming out right and sometimes she has to flip over to
the next page to continue calculating.

you need to create a multi-instrument in the environment next to your audio-instrument,then push a cable from there to your audio-instrument.in the arrange window your multi-instrument will appear in the window where you select the track-type next to the audio tracks, audio-busses etc. these midi tracks now trigger your vsti on the selected midi channel.you have to record your midi now on these tracks and not on the audio-instrument track,because there you only trigger its own channel. i hope i explained it well but i think you have understood what i ment.
