Print TECO Work Order

Hi To all,
is possible to print a work order in TECO? i have tried wit IW3d but it is giving me a message that is not possible.
could you please advise another way?

Hi,
When you click on print, system checks the status on the order. Normally when an order is having status REL printing is allowed, so at your check which status is preventing the printing of the order, revoke it temporarily to print & then you may restore it back.

Printing Completed Work Orders

Hi, I have requirement to print work orders that have a status of TECO or CLSD. Standard SAP does not allow you to print work orders with the status TECO or CLSD. Does anyone know if there is some config that allows you to print work orders that have been completed? Or will we have to create a custom transaction for new a print program?

Go to transaction BS22 which allows you to maintain business transactions for system statuses. At the bottom of the left hand column you can enter the code for TECO which is I0045 and press Enter. This will take you to that code. Double click on that code to bring up the list of business transaction available for TECO. Again at the bottom of the left hand column, enter RMDR which is the code for Print Order, and press Enter. You may change the option from Forbidd to Permtd. This will allow you to print TECO work orders.
You can do the same for CLSD work orders using I0046.

Print of work order before release

Hi,
Is it possible to print a work order before releasing it. What customization/changes can be done to do this ?

You can do that using standard t-code BS22.
After calling t-code BS22 double click on system status I0001 - CRTD – Created.
Then search for, so called business transaction ‘RMDR - Print Order’ and choose function Allowed.
I have just done it in my sandbox and now I’m allowed to print shop papers for work orders in status CRTD but as per default shop papers should be printed in REL status please analyze possible impact before changing anything in BS22.

Mass Printing of Works Orders and Related Documentation

Hi everyone,
I have a very peculiar problem, and any pointers in the right direction will be appreciated.
If this is not the right forum, please point me into the right direction.
The problem that I have is this:
I print multiple Works Orders (Plant Maintenance) at a time.
Linked to these work orders are Equipments etc. and linked to the Equipments, SAP DMS documents. When priting the Work Orders, the sequence of the related information (e.g. documents) are random, i.e. a user will need to sort the prints to match the Work Order with it's relevant documents.
Essentially, what I need is: print #1 W/O with attached docs, then print #2 W/O with attached docs, then print #3 W/O with attached docs
Any ideas at what I need to look at?
You can imagine if I print 400 works orders and all the documents related to it and it in not collated.

Can you let me know what transaction / process which you are using to print work orders, In case if you are using any transaction then we will check for user exits / badis so that we may enhance the standard functionality.

Purchase and release order not allowed for TECO work orders

Hi
We are typically setting maintenance work orders to TECO once the physical work as been performed as that sets the reference date for showing the history of when the maintenance was performed, and when the maintenance call was completed. However, we have invoices that may come in significantly later than when the physical work was performed.
Once the order is in TECO a purchase or release order (for services against a contract) cannot be created for the work order. Additionally it appears that even if we have a release order,or purchase order, if it is not for the exact amount of the invoice the release or purchase order cannot be ammended - we get the sameerror mssage (BS007) as when creating a new purchase order for the TECO order.
I had wondered about using BS22 to change TECO to continue to allow purchase and release orders when the order is in TECO status.
Any input on pros/cons or other approachs appreciated.

That was what I initially thought. However I was informed that if the invoice is not for the originally determined amount that to post the invoice means having to change the PO, and changing the PO appears to hit the same business transaction as creating a PO, and so we get the error mssage.
The issue is that we may know we need to have services estimated at, say, $5.000. But we do not know what the actual final invoice will be. So the actual amount may end up being $4,500 or $5,500 as an example, and it may come ni late from the vendor. The Purchse Order side is not my expertize, but I am being informed that the invoice must match the PO amount, otherwise the PO must be ammended to match. As the order is in TECO, the user cannot amend the PO.
I would be happy to know of other options, or at least good questions to ask. I want the end user to be able to post the invoice against the PO, after the order is in TECO, even it the invoice amount is not exactly the same as what was originally anticipated.

How to print batch work orders displaying only 1 task

Hi
I would like to know if it possible to print in large groups only task 0010 and then print task 0020 in another batch and so on. Excluding everything else except for the designated task number.I hope this makes sense.

I have just worked this out.
I copy all the work order numbers and copy them into Z4022 (WORK ORDER MASS PROCESSING)
Then I can sort to whatever is required.
Highlight a specific group or type and then press the print operations button located next to the release button on the ribbon.
Note: If task 0010 and 0020 is both highlighted together they do not print seperate.

Printout of Closed / TECO Main Order

Dear Experts,
I am trying to take printout of Closed / TECO Maintenance Order, but system is not allowing.
We have not assign any User Status to maintenance order, only default system status assign in maintenance order.

SAP Printers and Mass Printing of SAP Work Orders

Good day Experts,
We have a printer related issue especially mass printing of Work Orders. We have discovered that printing a list
of work orders takes longer with intervals of 10min up to an hour, as compared to printing smaller list(1-5 etc)
We are not certain whether this problem originates from the Network or SAP. The problem is not one of uniform nature,
changes frequently, Sometimes better and sometimes worse.
Please advise me.

There could be many reason behind this
1. Logic put to fetch data without key fields
2. unwanted code
3. Using System status search
4. getting data from User status tables such as JCDS
just check by giving print with one order, even if it results in performance issues, then it requires Fine tuning
you have to check with developer to removed unwanted code

as you want to select Only TECO Work Order - cost settlement - further closing of those orders, you can following the procedure:
1. go with KO88 with variant of TECOed orders (multiple selection-IW38/39),
2. cost settlement
3. Mass closing of the orders with IW38/39 (with same variant as above).
in last step, some TECOed orders (TECO done by users during your processing of step-2 & 3) may be left due to outstanding amt etc.

Error when printing work order with iw32

Hello all,
When i was printing work order using IW32, the order success to be saved but it can't be printed. And i get this error message :
Express document "Update was terminated" received from author ...
i check with T-Code SM13, and i found error on
PM_ORDER_PRINT_CONTROL
further, i go check to ABAP Short dump, and found the error analysis
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLSFES " raised the exception
condition "CONTROL_FLUSH_ERROR".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior program
in the hierarchy, processing was terminated.
have anyone know the OSS or have some experience to solve this problem ? hope you can help me..

Work Order - TECO Status Question

Dear All,
Is there a way to indicate who performed the last accounting transaction with a Work order?
For example, Who Teco'd the order and when it was Teco'd, etc..
This allows me to create a report to show productivity of how many work orders being complete.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

From PP Stand point ,if you are looking at TECO of Production order with individual person did , U can use COOIS functionality seleting Sytem Status : TECO and Give the Production Scheduler .There are lot of functionality u can use within date ranges, plant wise , material wise and u have the option to choose various lay out to generate report from COOIS.

Change Maintenance Work Order Detail Report in Print WO page

I would like to ask you for your help. We would like to have different report in Print WO function than Maintenance Work Order Detail Report. I mean SSM responsibility > Search for WOs > click Print WO icon. We applied patch #9871500 (I found it there: Templates associated to datadefinitions other than 'EAMWRREP' are not shown in the Work Order Detail report in EAM [ID 1209703.1]). I did personalizations steps - I defined new data definition (for example TEST) and report with data definition TEST is shown in the option on Print WO page now... But how should I it define to have correct result? What should be defined in Executable, Concurrent Program, Data Definition and Data Template? I have RDF and RTF files for this report. We are using different SQL than it is used in the original report. How could be used our SQL defined in RDF?

Hi,
1) You can choose to select and Print shop paper when you need.No enhancement is required.
2) There is not an option in standard to say Print/Not print Long text . You will have to replace the standard form with a custom form and build the logic to print /Not Print long text based on your rules.

I have an iMac(Intel) Desktop computer. I cannot print anything as it is telling me that it is "offline" How do I start it working again? My Lexmark Printer is in working order as I have just photocopied a document successfully.

I have an iMac (Intel) Desktop computer. It will not send a message to my Lexmark printer because it says "offline". My Lexmark printer is in working order as I have just successfully photocopied a document on it.

That message means that the computer cannot see the printer on its network.
Is the printer directly connected to the computer with a USB cable, or is it a network printer (either wireless, or wired to the router with an Ethernet cable)?

PM Work Order & Inspection Instructions simultaneous printing

I'm trying to setup QM Inspection Instructions to print when PM Work Order prints. I tried 2 things so far:
in SPRO:
QM: Define Print Control, Forms, Print Programs - however, this section only deals with Order Category 50; a non-PM Order category. So I couldn't do anything here.
PM: Define Shop Papers, Forms and Output programs - here I tried setting up INSP_INSTRUCTION Form with Output program RQEEAS20, and it gives the following message: "ABAP form routine PRINT_PAPER in ABAP RQEEAS20 not found".
I was wondering if someone can point me in the correct direction of how to setup?

Mass printing of maintenance work orders

Hello All,
I am configuring a preventive maintenance functionality where plans will kick out maintenance work orders at set intervals of time. Yesterday, I found about a requirement which requires functionality where a user can select many maintenance work orders and print shop papers for them from one screen. Are any of you aware of such functionality in SAP PM?

You should be able to use the List edit transaction iw38 to select and print Multiple Orders simultaneosuly. Once you have selected the orders in the Output screen, use the menu path ORDER > PRINT ORDER.
