Print to Video; Screen All Messed Up

My screen is stuck, displaying a large rectangular checkerboard with a 2 inch black border. Here's how it got to this state:
1. I had done a Print to Video, and when it finished up, instead of the message displaying that it is OK to start recording, my screen went black. I waited. For a couple of minutes. Hit the space bar, hit enter, hit delete, nothing.
2. So I turned off the computer. It entered sleep mode, which I had turned off long ago.
3. I turned the compter back on. Black screen still. Hit Escape.
4. Black screen turned into the checkerboard, and I don't know what to do.
Help!

Shutdown the Mac and re-boot.
If it doesn't want to shut off by the menu. Push and hold the power button untill it does.
If it's still wrong after this delete the FCE preferences.

Upgraded Itunes now videos are all messed up

When I upgraded itunes tonight and plugged my ipod back in, somehow my videos are all labeled as songs and are taken out of the video section and put into the song section..and when I play it it just plays the audio and not the video and the TV icon is removed in my library..
does anyone know how to fix this without having to reload them because that is a pain!

I'll check all the settings again but they looked fine when I glanced at them. I basically always left everything at default.
Would I need to reload them (Nforce and Forceware) if they're already installed? If so, I'll give that a shot.

I never really changed any of the settings. I'll check them again but they were basically all defaults or auto.

.mac mail screen all messed up preference button does not work

so i had my screen replaced about a month ago by apple because I dropped it and it was shattered like cut my finger if I tried to use it "shattered" but lately the top of the screen has been flickering all weird and it's not responding to my touch /: if I take it back to them will they charge me again?

Your phone is still under warranty. If whatever is causing your problem is NOT related to dropping the phone, it will again be replaced. Bring it to Apple and see what they say.

MY videoes are all messed UP!!

I just reviewed a few files from a flight I took over the San Francisco Bay in a small plane with my Samsung Galaxy S2. Most clips are 29.97 but some vary.
I put the one that said it was 30.01 on a 29.97 sequence and it looked fine. Then, just to make sure, I interpreted it to 29.97 and it still looked fine.
There was lots of motion and some shots were bright (outside of plane) and some were rather dark (inside of plane).
So either variable frame rate is not as big a problem as stated, or it depends on the type of footage or the model of phone. I admit I was not trying to sync sound. The noise of the engine pretty much drowned out anything else.

50i ... 60i?? Print to video complications

I am trying to edit broadcast quality news items but have recently come across a little trouble. Usually I film on a JVC 101 HD camera in SD and ingest my footage into my laptop and go from there. Filmed in 50i, printed to video back into the JVC in 50i. No problem.
Now, needing some footage from an SX tape I dumped it onto a DV tape using a DV deck. I then ingested this footage into the computer. Nothing seemed amiss until I printed my edited sequence back into the camera. When I do this it works for a few seconds before flashing up on the camera '60i invalid!', then stopping. When the shots from the DV deck are placed with any footage straight from my camera it does the same thing everytime the DV deck shots come up. '60i invalid!'
What is going on?! I was under the assumption that 60i meant NTSC. Everything we do is in PAL. The DV deck is regularly used with no reported problems but it's only this footage I'm having problem printed to video!
Any help would be most appreciated.

All settings and sequneces are in PAL. I did some more stuff today with footage straight from the camera and it was all good.
When you watch the deck footage back on the camera it reads 50i. However, it still reads '60i invalid' when you print to video. All the format details are the same as my other working footage too. It's just a puzzle. I think I'm just going to have to try some different settings on the dv deck and hope for the best.

Thank you for helping me with the size of the print on my screen. The suggestion you made works well with the email font. I really wanted all the print on my computer to be larger. (Some of the print seems to be way too small.) Someone suggested I change the resolution settings. I did this, and changed it to 1024 X 640. That changed the size of the font on the toolbar at the top of the page, and that is what I really wanted, as well as all the other print on my screen. Nonetheless, I would like to thank you for your very helpful and prompt reply to my question.

I am unable to print any screen on Firefox. My printer works fine on all other requirements.

My printer does not respond to a print request when I attempt to print a downloaded screen on Firefox. It prints all other documents, emails etc with no problem.

"Incompatible Compression Settings" all of a sudden when printing to video

Yesterday all went fine...tried to print to video again today (same project) and got an "incompatible compression settings" error message. I've changed nothing. All was fine yesterday...any clue?

As long as your cartriges are full, put a photo on you desktop, highlight it , click COMMAND P and the print preferences window should drop down, and select your printer and photo paper.

Is Zoom turned on?
if so, press command + option + 8.
If that does not help, try resetting PRAM.

why is it like this? (BY THE WAY, I USE AN HDMI CABLE TO EXTEND MY DISPLAY ON TO MY TV) Maybe that's why? I just remove the HDMI cable after I'm done -- there is no 'safe remove')

Printing from my mailbox, it prints very tiny and all on left side of screen onto several pages?
