Print two A5 in one A4

HI,
The problem is, i need to take print on A5 size paper on dat matrix. The standard paper size for A5 in SAP but the paper used on dot matrix printer is A4. (i. e. two A5 pages in one A4 sheet) i tried the landscape & portrait options. if i am using A5 page format the printer skips the paper by the height of sap size that is 210 MM. If i use A4 page format then the printer skips by a4 height leaving one paper sheet blank. it then prints next document on third sheet. i have tried INCH6 but does'n work.
how to use dynamic page-break in this case.
or any other solution.

In Print dialog box, you should be able to choose Layout and set pages per sheet to 2 (or 4 ...).
Then the print stream (from whatever source) will pour into the "mini-pages" and fill them up in order.
To do this using Preview, select all the documents you want in order, then open them "all-at-once" with Preview, and they will be temporarily collected into a larger "super-document" for viewing and printing together.
If you are printing photos from iPhoto, it has its own even better controls.

I have a PDF that is one page long and I'd like to print the same thing twice (front and back) on one page. Can I do that?
I've tried printing two copies with the printer set to double-sided, but it just printed two sheets with one side on each sheet.

Well sure; Go back to the authoring application that created the documents and do a 2-UP page. Make the existingg page large enough to accomodate the extra content. Is that what you're asking or do you really mean print to a printer with a back up ? In that case just flip the page over and print page 2 on the other side.
Or are we missing something ?

i'm not sure how related this would be to your concern, but in my place, we've implemented that by sizing a voucher as half a page, so that when we print vouchers, the printer would know that one page is half of a regular page. SPAD is one place to fix, but the actual printing program and SAPScript was also customized so that it would send two vouchers for printing consecutively, and would fit in one page.

PS CS6 13.0 x64 prints two pages when one copy is set.

I have an image that when I print it, to a printer or to PDF generates two pages of the same thing when only one copy is selected.
The Layer> merge layers, merge visible and flatten are all greyed out so it looks like only one layer is there.
I'm on a MacBook (not Pro) Core2 duo circa 2008 running 10.8 and haven't any idea how to make it print only one page from within PS.
About all I can propose to get past this is to print to PDF, delete the extra page then print it from Preview or Acrobat, but I'd like to know how to stop Photoshop from doing what it's doing in the first place.
Any ideas out there? What other info do you need?

It might have something to do with the print menu which always says Range: page 1 to page 2, even though there is only one page worth printing. It's quite illogical to print a second page when only one is there. If I wanted two pages of the same thing that's what copies are for.
As near as I can tell, a range would only be used for an image that doesn't fit on one page. My image is less than 5cm high and less than that wide. (It's the same size as the lit apple logo on the lid of my Mac, which is what the image is of.)
I tried setting and saving the default from range to single, but even then it prints two pages of the same thing both to a physical printer and a PDF file, and when I next print the range is back to page 1 to page 2. This is all without even exiting PS. Do I have to restart PS for the default to take effect?
Why can't I save a default? Is this a directory permission thing, and why don't I get an error that they can't be saved if permissions are the reason?

Print two photos on one sheet of photo paper officejet pro 8600 plus

I wish to print 2 photos on one sheet of photo paper. These are to fit into small frames and require 900 x 650 - two will fit on 6 x 4. When I go into my photo editor it shows the photo (I tried with one) at the top on the preview but the printer says it is not the correct size of paper. Thank you.

I would like to help you with your printing issue. In your User Guide on page 44 is the steps for printing on photo paper. What is the program you are using to print the photo's from? You would have to make your picture(s) fit to the 4X6 photo size frame.

XMLP print - two steps or one step?

When we were in 11.5.9 + XMLP 4.5 (with XMLP and CM integrated configuration), to print concurrent reports via XMLP always two steps. namely, the first step produces XML file and the second step is running XML Publisher Report to feed the XML file to the template and print pdf output.
After we upgraded EBS from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2, the XMLP has also been upgraded to 5.0. Apperas to be (my observation) that SRS enabled reports(such as "Printed Purchase Order(Portait)", "Invoice Print Batch of Invoices", "Invoice Print Preview Report", "Invoice Print Selected Invoices", etc) can been printed in one step (no need to run the second step - run XMLP, OPP takes care of it).
However, for non-SRS programs, such as "Print purchase order", "Print Statement", "Dunning Letter Print", it still need two steps. Oracle support says, it is bug to specific report (she gave Dunning Letter Print as example) and not related to SRS.
Just wonder if any one in this forum has similar circumstances and has got any workaround.
Any help and information appreciated.

You are correct in your assessment. We created a program that submits the desired program then passes the request id, template, etc. to the xml report publisher concurrent program.

How to Print two layouts into one page

I have developed a report by blocked ALV.In this report i have created two blocks.
But when i give print out the two blocks are not printing continuously.It is displaying one block in one page and another block in anther page.
And i need page number at end of each page.

Print two addressees on one address from Address Book

I would like to send out a mailing to friends and family. I would like to print all the names of individuals living on the same address on the same envelope. Address Book wants me to send two envelopes, one for each, it seems.
Any solutions for this?

Nowadays, this means that they must share a single iCloud account. If they do that, then yes, they will share all email for that iCloud account. If they also want to use other features of iCloud (they do not have to enable these) like backups and synchronization of contacts, notes or documents, then they will also be sharing the same storage for things. That may cause clashes, if for example, they maintain separate contact lists.
There is no reason that they cannot create another AppleID using a free email address (gmail, hotmail, aol, yahoo, or whatever) to separate things if they wish to have their own iCloud accounts. This would also allow them to have separate iMessage accounts. If they use the one AppleID for iMessage, then they will be sharing all of eachothers messages as well.
Usually, people tend to find that sharing an iCloud and an iMessage account is less than desirable. However, they can simply get another AppleID and keep those services separate. If they wish to share purchased content, they can continue to use the single shared AppleID for the iTunes, App and iBook stores.
Each service that Apple offers can be used with a separate AppleID, and you can have as many AppleIDs as you wish.

How to print two layouts in one take

Hi, we are printing our employee cards with custom layouts created in the human resources module. We created 2 layouts, one for the front of the card and one for the back. Right now, we print one side and then we need to change the default layout to print the back side.. Is there an easier way to do this? Maybe configure it so automatically prints the back side layout after the front side?

From what I know I don't think triggering print of a PLD is possible even using SDK as this is not exposed. you might want to check this in the SDK forum to be sure.

How do I print two DIFFERENT A5 pages onto one A4 piece of paper in Preview?

Hi, I know that within the Preview printing set up you can print two copies of one document on an A4 page.
However, I want to print one copy each instead. I want to put about 8 photographs and documents onto 4 A4 pages all in A5 size to save on paper.
Any help with this would be much appreciated as I know in Windows folders this is really easy to do but it seems impossible on the Mac.

How can I put two photos in one 6x4 print??

Hello!! So I want to print out some of my photos for a scrapbook.
I however do not want them all to be 6x4 sized prints and making smaller ones (scrapbook prints) at the photo shops cost too much.
There HAS to be a way to just put two separate photos into one photo jpeg type file right? That way I can print them out normally and just cut them in half so some are smaller?
Any help?

For 1 you need an external editor - you can do it in pages for example
for 2 you simply select the two photos, crop them so they will fit and print selecting the printer, paper size and print size (slightly smaller than 3x4 since there needs to be a small border around them and between them), if the priview does not show two photos on the page click customize and in setting select multiple photos per page - the preview will reflect this selection and finish printing

Hi,
I think it's more of a printer setting, but probably it's not possible to set a normal laser printer to do this but could be possible with a dot matrix printer.
Anyway, you could try to change the printer settings and the page settings from SAP, for example changing the paper size and then changing how many pages to print on one page - this setting usually offers printing two pages on one paper next to each other only but not below each other, but it's worth to give a try.

My Macs cannot print two sides if using borther HL5370DW series

My Mac Desktop and Mac Laptop cannot print two sides of one paper when I use brother HL 5370DW. It started from last week. My PC cannot print two-sided paper by brother HL5370 DW, and my Mac can print two-sided paper if I use the HP printer on Mac. I highly suspect the problem is from the updates of Mac. Do you have the same or similar problem these days?
I have tried to re-install the brother printer driver, and it did not work.

Have a read of this post. These Brother owners found the same issue after a recent driver update and managed to resolve the problem.

Print to two printers with one command?

Is there a way to print the same document to two printers with one command? I'd like to have every document I print automatically saved as a PDF at the same time.

That would be a good use of the PDF Services available in OS X. You can use PDF Services with AppleScript or an Automator workflow.

HP Laserjet CP1025nw Color Printer - printer prints two copies when only one is requested.

pcwizard (HP) requested that I try Foxit Reader 5.1 to see if the printer will print properly. I used the same previous document and printed it with Foxit Reader 5.1. The printer printed two copies when only one was requested as it had done in the past. We still have a problem.
I am using Windows 7 (64 bit) for OS. I have experience the issue on two different computers.
