Hi
I am handling PDF form from a web interface, I could not find print set for my PO order printing in EKKO-OTB_COND_TYPE field.
so, the print button is diabled on final print.
Can you some help me , what need to be for NACE settings? to make it print enabled?

Try this step:
Assigning Form and Driver proram to an Output type is as follows.
1) Go to NACE transaction
2) Select an Application
3) Click on Outputtypes Button
4) Comes to Change Mode
5) Click on New Entries button
6) Specify Output type,Form name and Program and Save it.

Is it really possible to have a pdf which has multiple pages and each of them have pages which are of different page sizes (e.g. letter, A4, A3) and print types (e.g. Simplex, Duplex)???

you can definately do different page sizes by using different master pages. You can set the paper type for each master page in the object>master page palette.

Jfmerge:Invalid printer Type (98) when generating a pdf output.

I am receiving "Invalid Printer Type (98)" error message when i call jfmerge from my servlet to generate a pdf output. Any idea?

Printed type much smaller than screen type

I'm working on a Sawtooth G4 running OS 9.2.2. When I print (SimpleText, Word, Excel) the printed type is much smaller than the designated screen size. For instance, if I print 24-point type, it comes out about 14 or 12. If I print 12, it's about six- or seven-point.
The only application not affected is QuarkXPress 4.0.
I'm running ATM Deluxe 4.6.1.
Ideas?

That suggets the wrong driver, or wrong configuration in the right driver.
What printer is this, please?
Has it ever worked properly and does it have the maker's latest drivers for OS 9?
Does it make ny difference what font is used?
Does the same text still shrink in Word and not in XPress if it's typed in one then pasted into the other?

Error [12] invalid printer type (98)

Hello, when i want to print a output PDF File whith adobe central output Server.
With Adobe Output Designer 5.6, I have compiled a template with Portable document format only.
On Adobe central control 5.6, I have a job TESTPDF with a task JFMERGE and a printer I have named PDFPrint. on the printer I have -zc:\temp\toto.pdf
When I'm merging the data I have the error Invalid printer type (98)
Could you help me please!

I am getting the same problem, but putting pdf file path/name in the printer table wont work as I want/need different file names for different dat files processed by the same form, ie include PO number as part of the file name

Hi,
In spool (SPAD) you can configure more than 4 types of printer and that depend upon device type. So, in your case, you have configured 4 printers but we does not know which device type you have used to configure these printers, so we cannot help you more without this information.
Also, try to search on google you will get a lot of documents on printer config.

Grid Lines show up in certain print types.

HP Officejet Pro 8600 all in one.Imac OS 10.6.8When ever I print in black and white mode for any size or type document or when I print in color to a single 4x6 photo page the vertical grid lines show up on the print. I don't have this problem when I print the same 4x6 color photo on a full size 8x10 page. I don't have this problem whenever I print any document in color. I have deep cleaned the print heads and realigned the print heads several times; but I cannot lose the grid lines when I print in black and white and try to print color to the smaller format paper? I love this printer otherwise. Setup was easy, operation is user friendly, and it prints beautifully other than these two little annoying instances. Can anyone offer a solution?

Yes, I am experiencing this as well. Thin black vertical lines about 2.8cm apart. Initially I thought they were just on things sent to the printer from Photoshop, but now I see them on colour items I print directly from the copier and on an email attachment from my iPad. At times the lines are barely visible ant that is what happened when I was talking wiht hp support. It looked as though the problem had been solved after reloading the software onto my iMac. But afterI hung up with them it happened again and when I went back to look at the other prints the lines were there too but not very visible. I have cleaned and aligned the heads and replaced an empty yellow cartridge. I printed a blank white sheet that had no lines. I cannot figure it out. Any suggestions anyone?

Take a look at the following SAP note:
1557674 - Overview of bar code printing from SAP
If the printer contains this barcode in it's internal fonts, then you should be able to create a system barcode via transaction SE73. In se73 -> Printer Fonts -> <Davice Type>, you need to maintain the print controls with the commands to tell the printer to switch to this MIS barcode font.
Another possiblity is to purchase the barcode font. e.g. See URL below:

Then you can install this true type font in SAP and use it in the smartform.

NECE print type Email Text and Body not comming in Email

We have maintain Email text and Body in NECE for email body.
But while , we are checking in email , Invoice is coming as attachement, email body is not apprearing in email .
what to do?

In NACE transaction , in V3 Billing , I have Output type RD0M, in that I have maintained
email Body.
But on the time of generating the Invoice email for Vendor , only Invoice is going in email as attachement,
Email Body which I have maintained in NACE is not coming .
Any Suggestion ?

Windows 7 64 bit / Server 2012 R2 GUI - Type 4 Print Driver error "Cannot connect to the Printer" 0x00000002

Hello, We have multiple Server 2003 Print server and are working on testing a Server 2012 print server. We have run into an issue where a PRINTER (type 4, normal) works with our Windows 7 32 bit clients, Windows 8.1 64 bit clients and the
2012 R2 server, but when trying to install to a windows 7 64 bit clients using \\SERVER\PRINTER we are getting the above message. (The printer is not offered currently in the directory).
I have been scouring the Google and Bing and have yet to find a satisfactory description that matches this issue. Nor have I found other information that resolve this issue. Like, blaming this on the spooler or DLL fixes or Reg hacks (applied
on the client side).
Specifically, we have used the native 2012 R2 drivers "Ricoh Class Driver", "HP LaserJet 4240 PCL6 Class Driver" and "Xerox Phaser 6120 Class Driver"
If I use a Type 3 driver from Xerox I am able to print from the Windows 7 64 bit client to the print device, but I was hoping to get all of my clients onto 1 driver. I understand that I might be able to use some sort of WMI filtering in our GPO
deployments for the Windows 7 64 bit clients when we go live but this sort of <gs class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="55af8faf-887d-4ea5-9032-7c14b199df0f" id="db4a1e65-db1b-4c94-bd84-20ffc96288ce">henky</gs>.

Having problem with the printer with type "PDF Publisher"

Hi,
We are having problem with printing PDF reports with print style as "PDF Publishrer". The concurrent program errors out after it generates the report. But when we try that with style "PORTRAIT" then it prints successfully. We have tried with a number of printers and a number of reports. The results are same. So my understanding is it has something to do with the printer configuration from the EBS side.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Grainy Type / Print as Bitmap

Hello,
We've been having an odd issue with Adobe design software and our Brother 4040CDN colour laser printer. When printing type from an Adobe product (namely Illustrator CS5 or InDesign CS5) it appears grainy and not the precise typographic smoothness you expect from a laser printer.
Printing from Microsoft Word or Apple Pages produces beautiful smooth type, so the issue lies presumably somewhere in the Adobe drivers/settings. After much fiddling with the InDesign CS5 settings, I was able to de-select "Print as Bitmap" in the Advanced print settings and the results were beautiful, smooth vector based type:
However, trying this same technique in Illustrator CS5, I am unable to select or de-select the "Print as Bitmap" option:
I've searched for and tried many different solutions to the grainy type issue, but to no avail. Any insight into:
1) Alternate approaches to solve the "grainy type" issue from Adobe products.
2) Forcing the "Print as bitmap" option in Illustrator CS5.

Printing from Acrobat produces the same result, sadly.
Updated the Brother firmware and reset the Acrobat settings and it seems to printing great now.
Illustrator still prints grainy type. Any ideas on parlaying this success into Illustrator? Thanks.
