Print wirelessly with HP Photosmart 7450

I have an HP Photosmart 7450 printer and a Cisco wireless router. I also have an HP LaserJet m1212nf that I am printer to wirelessly. I have an HP desktop and a Samsung netbook. How do I print to my 7450 from the netbook?

The HP Photosmart 7450 does not support network connectivity but only a direct USB connection to a computer, you may find the product specifications listed below:

Basiclly, you should simply plug the USB to a Windows 7 or 8 PC to get it working on your PC.

Printing wirelessly with hp photosmart 5514

I have a HP Photosmart 5514. I'm having a hard time keeping my MBP connected via wifi. Everytime I go to print, I have to shut off the wifi on the printer and turn it back on before it will print. Any ideas?

my router is a belkin N750DB - it worked fine yesterday after i tried to reinstall the printer on the computer, but now when i go to print from it, it tells me it can't find the printer. it's very annoying that i have to keep turning off on the wifi on the printer to print

Possibly by using an Airport Express, but depends on what type of port connection the printer requires.

My HP dv4-2045dx won't print wirelessly with my HP Officejet 6500 E709n

My HP Pavillion laptop won't print wirelessly with my HP All In One printer. It will print if it is hooked up, and the printer works wirelessly with my other computer. I've uninstalled the printer and updated the drivers. The print wizard goes through all of the steps to configure wirelessly, finds my printer, tries to connect, and fails at the last minute each time. I believe it may have something to do with the fact that I also can't scan to my laptop.
P.S. It used to print wirelessly. I have no idea what changed.

Ensure that the Airport base station is configured to not distribute IP addresses.
On the iMac
System Preferences > Sharing > Printer Sharing
On the PowerBook
Applications > Utilities > Printer Setup Utility
Add Printer
It may work with the HP driver (which you will need to install on the PowerBook)
It may work with a third-party driver such as the HPIJS drivers or the Gimp-Print drivers, but this is not the case with all printers.

How do I get my computer to print wireless with HP6600

I have tried to get my computer to print wireless with the HP6600. I have tried all the trouble shooting things and still does not work. The printer is contected to the wireless network. I can print from my phone and Ipad fine without a problem.

@ minipinny26 - When you downloaded the drivers and attempted to install the software I am guessing the software could not find the printer. Is this correct?
If so, then did you try a power cycle on the circuit?
* Unplug router and wait 30 seconds
* Plug router back in and wait for it to completely repower up
* Restart the PC
* While the PC is restarting: Unplug the printer while the unit is on
* Wait 30 seconds and plug the printer back up for power
Can the software find the printer at this point?
If not, then can you ping the printer?
* Open the Command Prompt screen by typing CMD in the Run command box
* Type ping followed by the ip address of the printer.
Also, take a look at the steps in the document found here. Let me know what happens.

Printing wirelessly with Windows Vista

Alright I just got our Vista laptop successfully connected to the TC wireless network.
Now I'm trying to print wirelessly with the Vista laptop, but when I go into "add printer" in the Vista control panel, it's unable to detect the printer. The printer is on.
My Macbook Pro is currently able to print wirelessly.
Anybody know what I can try?

I was able to add the printer on my Vista laptop with Bonjour on the disk that came with Time Capsule. Previously the laptop couldn't see the printer, but now it can wirelessly print.

Why can't I print wireless with Time Capsule anymore?

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1280 that I have been printing wireless with for many years by plugging it in to the USB port on the back of the Time Capsule. Not anymore.
I have a MacBook Pro running the latest OS as well as the latest model Time Capsule running the latest software from Apple. I have tried using Airport Utility 5.6 which sees the printer plugged in. But when I try to add the printer to the Print & Scan system preferences, it shows up but says:
Software for this printer is available from Apple. Would you like to download and install it?
When I click "Download and Install" it searches for the software but then tells me:
The software for this printer is currently unavailable. Please contact the printer’s manufacturer for the latest software.
When I plug the printer directly into my MBP, I can add the printer and print without any problems. Per Epson, I have the latest software for my printer, so I'm not sure why Apple needs to search for the software and download it in order for me to print using the Time Capsule.
Like I said before, this all use to work flawlessly. I'm assuming all the updates have "broken" something.

Well, I solved my problem.
I deleted the EPSON folder in Library/Printers as well as Library/Cache and installed the EPSON driver via Softwar Update.
Everything is working fine now.

Just found a solution to this problem via HP technical support by changing my Officejet 6700's dynamic IP address to a static IP address:

After making these changes and rebooting my printer immediately started working again.

The easiest way to print wirelessly is to get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.
When you start this process, make sure the USB cable is NOT plugged into your printer. When the software asks, choose a Network (or Wireless) installation type. Plug in the USB cable only when it asks.
The one button method requires newer wireless routers and you still have to install the software, so the method above is overall more straightforward.

Printing wirelessly with Airport Extreme

Hi, I have an Airport Extreme (not newest model) that I used to use with a PC and I could print wirelessly. Although one day it just stopped and I was never able to fix it. I've since given up on PC's and bought a new MacBook Pro (yea!). Unfortunately, I'm still having problems printing wirelessly. Its prints fine when connected. Can someone tell me how to first see if the laptop can "see" the the printer over the network and secondly how to fix it so that I can print wirelessly? Thanks.
Printer is: HP Photosmart 8150 and I'm using the latest drivers.

The setup manual for the AirPort Extreme suggests.....
Connect the printer to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme and make sure that everything is powered up
On your Mac...
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Print & Fax
Click the small + button at the bottom of the printer list to add the new AirPort Extreme location
Hopefully, your printer will appear in the next window. If not, it may not likely be supported.
If yes, click the name of the printer to highlight it
Click Add at the lower right
Try to print.
Remember to choose the correct printer location in the print dialog box as you now have the printer installed in two different locations....one at your Mac and the other at the AirPort Extreme.

Print problems with my Photosmart D5360 in a network with Windows 7

My printer is installed on my desktop PC that runs on vista.
I have two notebooks too.
One is running on vista, the other runs on windows 7.
They are all connected in a wireless home network that seems to be perfectly ok.
With the notebook on vista I can perfectly print via the wireless network, but with the notebook that runs on windows 7 it is not possible to print. The Notebook gives no failure message and the printer just gives a blank paper with a "paper failure" message on the printer.
It seems to be a network problem or a mismatch between vista and windows 7.
Is there somebody who can help me with this issue?

First of thank you very much for your reply.
May be I was not clear enough in miy explenation.
My photosmart D5360 is connected to my desktop PC with USB.
So it is not a networkprinter.
When I connect the notebook that runs on windows 7 directly to the printer with a USB connection than there is no problem, it prints perfectly. In this situation I use the printdriver for Windows 7 that I installed a few days ago on the notebook itselve.
So I have the latest drivers on all my computers.
However, when I want to print via the wireless home network and so via the desktop PC to which my printer is connected, I have to use the printdriver that is installed on my desktop PC (or not??) that runs with Vista. In this case it won't print.
My desktop PC doesn't allow to install a driver for Windows 7 because it runs on vista. And on my notebook thatruns on windows 7 I can't reach the printdriver instaaled on the desktop PC that I use to print wireless.
Maybe I am a bit clumsy with these things because my knowledge of networks is very basic I'm afraid.
The second link you gave me is in my opinion not useful for my situation? Or am I wrong?
