Hello,
I am using BIEE 11g and experiencing few issues and looking for advices for issues below :
1. Printable PDF format
- When i download dashboard and answer to printable PDF, the PDF's format doesnt seem following the format of dashboard. It maintains overall format, but it becomes uneven. And gap between sections and columns of dashboard are quite different with it of dashboard on the screen.
- Image included inside columns of table for conditions, It looks fine on the dashboard and answer, but it gets misplaced if i download them in PDF or PPT. Sometimes the images are outside the table. However, it works fine with Excel.
2. Mobile Device Management
- For addition of new mobile device, I go to Administration => Manage Device Types. When i try to create a new device, it gives me error message saying "This Device Type cannot be deleted/updated as it is a pre-configured system device". Is there anyway i can add new devices?
3. MS Word. Direct download impossible for dashboard and answer
- This one is simple. Is it possible to download answer or dashboard directly as MS Word format. I heard that security of MS Office blocks users for direct download.

Problem Inserting Euro Symbol and few others

We are using java application with oracle 8.1.6 as the db with the charset as WE8ISO8859P15. ALl the forms are using multipart request. We cannot do away without that. When trying to insert euro symbol and few other western european characters, they get converted to something else before getting stored in the db and so we are not able to display them properly on retrieval.
Can anyone please help in this direction?

Just set the nls_charset.zip in classpath and then try to insert into db.I think it might not be a problem with database.(note. if u insert euro character it will be reside in db, as some format but u retrive it and stream it thru servlet it will be displayed in the browser properly, if u write using printwriter then it might give "?" / "O" in browser. refer http://www.inter-locale.com/faq/blacksquares.jsp).

So, my first question is obvious, what's wrong with my system?, am I missing some BIOS setting?, I believe APIC may have something to do, but this isn't the case because it is enabled (at least it says so in BIOS). I have the latest BIOS for this mobo (5.40)
The second issue is something strange that Sisoft Sandra keep telling me: "SMBIOS/DMI information may be inaccurate", an here's what the help says:

Regarding the Sisoft Sandra remarks, don't worry about it.
Regarding the Computer in Device Manager
Try changing it to
Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
This has not given me any problems at all.

Update Downloads but will not Install (and a few other issues)

My dInc2 keeps telling me I have an update. I download the firmware and then it tells me that if I install I won't be able to use the phone. This is fine - it's what always happens. Except it NEVER installs. Ever. I've tried a million times. And more recently, my clock disappeared. I was so glad I wasn't having that issue - but then it happened. Has anyone else experienced the issue of updates not installing? How do I fix it?

I can't see a message from my union because of problems with changed adress for pop-upwindows and some other issue

Hi,
I'm from Sweden and I'm having problems with a website my union has. I have been able to see messages from them before but they've changed their adress and on the site they tell people they have to put the new adress on the approved list for pop-up windows. I have done so but it's still not working. Maybe I've done it wrong, I don't know but it's annoying as hell that I can't see the messages they send.
I really need help with this.

BB in Russia and few other questions

Hello! Having few troubles about my new device...Plz, help ) 1. I've got BB Z10, here, in Russia, mostly mobile operators doesnt have any troubles with BIS and this pic of BB in right corner is shown all the time, but my operator (Tele2 Russia) doesn't have that service and actually they don't understand what am i talking about. So i can use BBM only with wi-fi. What should i tell them to solve my problem? 2. Feels like BB is not that popular here too, so we have only one official shop in st-petersburg, so feeling stuck with official accessorises (only one type of battery and only one type of holder), but battery is very weak...u know.. 3. Will be there in os10.3 appear delete button in fast mode? not that useful to delete anything in few clicks... 4. I have few questions.
Is the zen mp3 player compatible with winamp playlists? Can you modify those in side the player?
IS there a FM modulator add on so that the player can play on your car radio by tunning to a certain frequency? I know the ipod has that type of a functionality.
Does a car charger come originaly with the zen player so that you can recharge the battery while driving?
Does the zen software always sycn the files on your compuer? For example, if I have 000 songs and I have downloaded them on to the player and then deleted 500, will the zen also delete 500 on the player next time I hook up the player?

Sounds like your car stereo has a problem, perhaps in terms of the reception within the car. I'm kinda surprised that these internal transmitters work at all based on the Faraday Cage principle, but I guess there's at least some aerial wire (or connecting wire) within the car.
So perhaps you want to take the car to a dealer, or a car audio specialist.

IMac 21.5" performance on COD4 and few other general questions from a newbi

I'm a current and long time PC owner who is sick of messing with registry problems, performance issues and viruses.
I am strongly considering the purchase of a 21.5" iMac, but have some reservations as to whether I may have performance issues playing Call of Duty 4 using Parallels or Boot Camp. Will the 21.5" machine with the upgraded 256K video card handle this and other games OK? Other than that, I am a light user who mainly surfs the web, sends email and tracks finances with quicken. Games and some video are about the heaviest applications I use.
Currently on a 3 year old Pentium Duo Dell with 2GB ram, 512mb Nvidia video card.

I'm just extremely concerned that the 21.5" iMac won't have enough juice for multi-tasking such as playing COD4 while surfing the net. Even my hopped up gaming PC (older dual core with 512K video card) struggles at times. I'm wanting to make the jump to Mac, just afraid of spending almost $1500+ and winding up with worse performance than I already have.
Unfortunately, the nearest Mac retailer is over an hour away from me so there isn't a real chance to put one through it's paces in person.

Having a problem with itunes store and some other issues

ok i'm trying to edit my credit card info in the itunes store right now i put all my info down i get this message
"your credit card information does not match your bank's records. please enter a us credit card and matching billing address."
now i did all that i even went to my bank's website and looked at my statements and even put my info in CAPS like it shows on the bank statement and it says the same now my bank card isn't a credit card is bank check card (or depoit card whatever samething) and still i get the same message. it won't let me get any apps or anything
and i did try the whole
reedit it or put none and do it over and over and still nothing
now as i edit everything millions of times when i try to order something it says theres no secruity code on it so when i edit it again it goes back to credit card info is not the same as the bank's records when it is.
so what am i doing wrong?

Help setting up Window.location.href to open a file, and 1 other issue

I am a student currently working on a school project where I must make a website. I am trying to set up: window.location.href="C:\Users\*PCNAME*\Desktop\*SITE*"; in that fashion to open up a local file on my HDD, so when I click a specific area, it opens that page from my local files. This setting works with opening web pages like "http://www.google.com" just fine, but when I attempt to instead open up a file location I am given an error.
Also, my other question is how to have more than 1: <script type="text/javascript"> function LinkTo(){, so that I can have 2 seperate buttons on my web page linking to 2 seperate sites.

Basically, I am wondering how to set up window.location.href to open up a page located in my files rather than from the internet like Google or Facebook; and, I am wondering how to have multiple LinkTo scripts set up so different buttons link to different pages and how to link those buttons to each script. Okay, I'll try to explain better. Btw, thanks for the bottom part. Figured out I am not supposed to put the full location of the file, only the page (index.html), not C:\Users\*NAME*\etc...
Anyways, I am wanting multiple scripts.
Basically, I want the left cell to, when clicked, go to NewCars.html, and the right cell to link to UsedCars.html. It is a table that I have configured to be clicked anywhere in the cell rather than just having to click the words to go to a link. The code is:

MSI P6N SLI V2 does not boot up from cd/dvd and few other problems

I just bought a computer P6N SLI V2 + E6750. It has following problem. It does not boot from cd.
I have Sata HD. CD/DVD is installed to IDE as a master.
I have done settings in bios so that First boot is cd/dvd and second is sata HD. Anyhow it still goes to the hd and stars windows.
I was only able to boot up from cd when I disabled hd from boot sequency. Meaning I left only cd/dvd there.
Hopefully you pro's can help me.
Then there is another problem. Windows is telling me that it found new pci device. I do not know what device. I have only Graphig card (geforce 8800 gts) installed into pci-E. Drivers and software are also installed, I assume proberly. How to find out what windows thinks it found.
Third problem is onboard soundcard. I cannot get any sound out from the machine. I have downloaded driver from realtek, but still no sound.
Unfortunatelly I do not have original software for motherboard. Only the latest from MSI website.
Hopefully someone can help me.

About bootup, i dont know yet.
To find out what windows found, look in devicemanager.
To go there go to controlpanel, system then choose devicemanager.
There you can see what's installed.
Last, your soundcards needs to be enabled in bios, under integrated peripherals there should be a line with "onboard sound", enable this and sound should work, unless its broken.

Nokia E71 - radiation and some other issue

I've heard that the radiation is quite high for the E71, is that true?
Another problem would be that I've downloaded a software and I have to write a verification code so I can log in but the think is that I can't see the picture with the code, I see only a small picture which is cracked in the middle, is this something to do with java or flash...?

This is normally measured when the handset is operating at its strongest power.
The SAR limit stated in the ICNIRP guidelines is 2.0 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over ten grams of tissue.
If you compare this to the N82 which the highest SAR value under the ICNIRP guidelines for use of the device at the ear is 1.35 W/kg.
Which is not that much more.
Anyhow both handsets pass the test or they would not be able to sell the handsets.

Two issues with firefox (pdf and downloads)

Hi,
two points bother me since a long time:
1. Reading pdf: In most cases I'm unable to read pdf-files in the browser. When I click on a link to a pdf a new tab opens and firefox loads. After some seconds the statusbar says finished (? in German it's fertig) but the window stays empty. Switching thorugh the tabs and back to the pdf results in not seeing anything but the last active tab.
I already went to the preferneces and changed the pdf viewer for "\application\pdf" from acroread to evince but this didn't solve the problem.
I'm on x86_64 so I have installed lib32-acroread from AUR. Currently I have to save the pdf and because of issue #2 I have can't open it directly and some for some pdf in the web this isn't possible.
2. Downloads: Both, double click on the downloaded file and chosing "open containig folder" don't do anything. I tried the suggested sulution here but with no success: http://rubylution.ping.de/articles/2007 … nder-linux

Unfortunately there is no "save as.." in their online service.
These instructions may give back the right-click "Save Page as..." menu.
From Preferences select the Content tab and have the Enable Javascript button checked (true). Then click on the button labeled "Advanced..." From the next box that opens, uncheck "Disable or replace context menus."
I run with all the boxes unchecked and have "Open new windows in a new tab instead" set, so I almost always have the full Firefox menus available. There are a few web pages that still defeat this setup partially -- some images won't save.

I am very new to adobe.I am required to do the following and am very confused.The scenario is as follows:
I am required to create a letter template (using adobe designer) where name and few other details will be tags(which needs to be replaced by actual values according to the particular customer later on).We can create such a feature in word using mail merge feature available there.How do we do the same in pdf??Can it be done using adobe designer 7.0???If so,how?
After I create this template,I am required to write a javascript or a VB program to access this pdf template and find and replace these tags with the actual values and generate a pdf document.Somebody told me that this is to be done using adobe document server(ADS). Can this be done??If so,how?If not what is the alternative product in adobe?
There are so many adobe products that i am totally at sea and not able to figure out which to use and how.
Please help me at the very earliest.

As per your reply I used Forms API in my vb program and it is accessing the fields but I am not able to change the property of the fields.
I created the pdf form using adobe designer 7.0 and have created a floating field which I want to populate using my code.This is invisible in the pdf template but I when I set the value for it using vb code I need to change its property to visible.
But when I try to change the "NoViewFlag" property, I get an error as follows:
Runtime error'-2147220988(80040204)
Document's Security Settings prohibit the operation being performed
Please give your suggestions.
2.Another question is how do I differentiate floating text field and ordinary text field in vb code because the type of both is displayed as text ??
