Printed Document function not working

I have a user who is trying to use the Printed Document
function of RoboHelp to convert html files into one continuous
document, put together in a book form, complete with a table of
contents. The process errors out giving her error messages like
--> "Warning: The Word Document became corrupt when attempting
to append a malformed topic: (then it lists an htm file here)". Can
anyone tell me what could be causing this error or if something
might be missing from the installation?

The other is quite simply insufficient RAM. Yeah I know what
RH says on the box but Word has its own requirements. I have a
layout that gives this error on a 2gb ram machine but works quite
happily on 3gb.
A way of checking that it is RAM is to create two copies of
the print layout. Leave one alone. In number two trash half the
topics. In three trash the other half. If two and three then
generate OK, there is clearly no problem topic so by my
calculations it has to be RAM.

I have this XSLT:

I have this java which is setting the parameter for $file1
transformer.setParameter("file1",file.getAbsolutePath());I printed out the value of $file1 in the XSLT style sheet using:
<xsl:message><xsl:value-of select="$file1"/></xsl:message>
The Path it prints out is the correct path, let say its c:\myfile\file1.xml
When it reaches the doument($file1) function, it seems that the path is getting changed.
To give you an example, if $file1 = "c:\myfile\file1.xml" and my XSLT file is located at c:\xsl\myXSl.xsl then the path that document() gets is:
c:\C:\xsl\myfile\file1.xml
This causes the following error to occur:
(The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect)
Why is document() inserting the path where the XSL file which it is in into the path of the file I'm trying to open? I am using the Xalan API to transform this XML.
Have anyone seen anything like this before?

When I looked up some Internet pages that described the document() function, they all said it required a URI as its parameter. A Windows file path is not a URI. However it's possible to get a URI from a File object, so you might want to try that.

Print Document option, not work when adding documents.

Dear friends.
I have checked inside SAP BO the checkbox Print Document when AR Invoice is added (Print preferences) But this action not work because the document not is printed automatically, then the user has to print it manually.

Print setting function not working to check ink levels for all in one 1350/windows xp

Just tried checking ink levels, on window xp/all in one 1350
nothing happened when I clicked on print levels to get to tools,
this has worked before. Would appreciate any ideas.

what system version are you running? OSX 10.9.4

Print Booklet suddenly not working properly

I am working with InDesign CS3 in OS X 10.5. Up until this week, the Print Booklet function always worked fine for me (I only use it for generating PDFs with printer spreads). Now, however, files that printed properly in the past are generating PDFs of the wrong page size and orientation, and sometimes with the wrong scaling as well. The previews in Print Booklet still look fine, but the PDFs generated are not.
One thing that stands out in particular is that, in the past, I could take care of all the settings in the Print Settings dialogue box - printer, page size, orientation, etc. Now, if I want the right page size, I have to go into the Page Setup box and choose the page size from there. If I am dealing with an uncommon page size (which can easily be set in the Print Settings box), the Page Setup box does not have that option (or it requires establishing a new custom page size). Furthermore, even when I can get the right page size, the page orientation in the resulting PDF is wrong and the pages need to be rotated, where they didn't before.
It seems like the problem may have something to do with InDesign's communication with the Adobe PDF printer. This same week, I found that the software for my normal paper printer could not communicate with the printer, and I had to reinstall the printer driver, which took care of the problem. Maybe there is something similar I need to do here, with regards to the Adobe PDF printer driver? Or, perhaps there is a system file that might be missing or needs to be deleted and replaced? You updated to 10.5.5 didn't you? This is a problem with a CUPS file which has been discussed on the forums. Basically replacing the 10.5.5 version with one from 10.5.4 will fix the problem. See also this

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook and Bluetooth and HP Simplepass complications since doing a Windows upgrade. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application. Just to make sure all drivers and software are updated as well.
Here is a document on troubleshooting and using Bluetooth if needed. Under the tips for finding a Bluetooth device, there is a section on making sure the wireless communication is turned on. This is an important section.
Here is another document with some great information about Bluetooth fixes.
Here is a link to troubleshoot the HP Simplepass software.
The HP SimplePass Identity Protection Software must be updated to v8.00.57 or later. Here is a link to download the latest. You will have to uninstall the old software.

Print queue does not work

Since the update I did from Tiger to Leopard the Print Queue does not work. When I print a document the printer starts to jump up and down on the Dock for more than 5 minutes. Printing finishes and the icon of the printer is still "dancing" on the Dock. If I try to open Print Queue the window does not open immediately but after a long time and I can't see the printing documents that are waiting in the queue. As a result I can't stop or pause or delete a printing document. The same thing happens if I try to open Print Queue from the Print & Fax Preferences' window. The window opens after a long delay and nothing can't be controlled from this window. I forgot to say that the printer icon remains on the Dock and Force Quit is the only option I have when trying to quit it.
I have tried Permissions Repair. Nothing happened. I installed the latest driver. The problem is still there. Only after Reseting Printing System the problem is fixed but until the first reboot. If I restart the computer then the problem appears again and the only thing I can do is to Reset again the Printing System. So, if I want to control the printing procedure, I have to Reset Printing System after every restart!!! Any help???
P.S. I have a Canon iP4500 but I don't think that the printer is the problem because with Tiger I had never face this problem and I have also printed with this printer from a MacBook running Leopard with no problems.

1) I tried Print Therapy and after I had repaired Permissions the problem was solved (some permission problems were found) until the next restart.
2) Then I tried to stop and start again the cupsd process and again the problem was solved until the next restart of the computer.
3) Then I replaced the cupsd.conf file with a new one but the app asked to restart the computer and after this the problem was back.
4) Print Therapy does not find any problems neither in the properties of the root user nor in the current user or any other group.
5) Also the verification of the temporary files find no problems.
In conclusion I think that the problem lies in the cupsd process because when stopped and restarted (we can forget that by Repairing Permissions actually we restart cupsd) I have no problem until the next restart of the computer.

Not able to sign into Blackberry Protect. Backup and Restore function not working. Message is: "Your device isn't associated with a Blackberry ID." My Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry World is working fine so I am sure its not an ID issue on the phone. I can sign into Link, Blackberry.com and Protect. I see my device in Protect but cannot send messages or view it on a map. Times out with cannot reach device message. BB Protect on Device has a swirling circle beside the on/of switch. Cannot turn off.
I have deleted Link and re-installed.
I have reset phone to default(factory) and signed in.
OS level is 10.2.1.3062
BB Link is 1.2.3.56

I managed to figure this out myself. I had to delete the device from the Blackberry Protect website. protect.blackberry.com. I wiped my device again and signed in with my Blackberry ID. I dont know if the step of wiping was necessary as I did not try my backup with the current configuration on the device following the delete. Restore is in progress for me!

According to your description, my understanding is that the add new document link was not working on machine where Office web apps set up with this SharePoint server after you upgraded SharePoint team sites
from 2010 to 2013.
For your issue, it can be caused by integrating Office Web Apps with upgraded SharePoint Site.
Firstly please make sure claims-based authentication is used by the SharePoint web application that is used to create the new document. Only web applications that use claims-based authentication can open
files in Office Web Apps. To determine the authentication provider for a web application, follow these steps:
1.In SharePoint 2013 Central Administration, click Manage web applications.
2.Select the web application that you want to check, and click Authentication Providers on the ribbon.
The authentication provider must be displayed as Claims Based Authentication for Office Web Apps to work correctly with the web application. To resolve this issue, you can delete the web application and recreate
it using claims-based authentication, or you can change the authentication method of the web application.
Secondly, make sure the WOPI zones match on the SharePoint 2013 and the Office Web Apps Server farm.
To do this, run the following command on the SharePoint Server:
Get-SPWopiZone
The result will be one of the following:.
internal-https
internal-http
external-https
external-http
Next, run the following command on the SharePoint Server.
Get-SPWOPIBinding
In the output, look for WopiZone: zone. If the results from Get-SPWopiZone don’t match the zone that is returned by Get-SPWOPIBinding, run the Set-SPWOPIZone -Zone cmdlet on the SharePoint Server to change
the WOPI zone to match the result from Get-SPWOPIBinding.
If not work, you can try to disconnect SharePoint 2013 from Office Web Apps Server and re-configure Office Web Apps for SharePoint 2013.

GUI JAVA 7.20 rev.2 (on Mac OSX 10.6.3): Print preview does not work!

I've just started using rev 2 of java sapgui and print preview is not working anymore.

Ipad 2 Print button does not work after 6 upgrade?

Since we upgraded to iOS6, our print button does not work and does not find our printer. It was working fine until iOS6. Called an Apple Technician and he had me reset, which wiped out all of my saved information but didn't fix the print. He then started talking about a restore but the phone line went dead. Has anyone had this problem?

Today's iOS 6.1 update fixed the printer problem.

For some prerecorded audio files the Transpose slider will not work reliably. I found no clear pattern, when it does and when not.
If all fails, create a loop from the audio file. Select the region in the track and use the command "File: Add region to Loop library".
Set the current key and tempo, name the loop, and save the loop.
Now add it from the loop browser to a new track and delete your old track. The search field in the Loop browser will help you to find the loop quickly.
You will be able to transpose the sample as described above, like a regular loop.
For example - a audio file turned into a loop and transposed:

I am trying to create set when you slice with the Hierarchy member is leaf level , I want a output only that Leaf level .
and When I slice with the parent level , it has to give all the members below that parent level.
But the problem here is when I select child member or leaf member , The first condition in the Case is not working

I don't think Children count function not working in case statement, I have tested it on my local environment, here s the sample query for you reference.
with member
testset as
case
when
[Geography].[Geography].currentmember.children.count<10
then "X"
else "OK"
end

{[Geography].[Geography].[Country].members} on 1

[Adventure Works]
In your scenario, the issue might be caused by the query isself, you can try to use IsLeaf Funcion to achieve your requirement. Please refer to the links below.
