Printer agent error on start up

Migrated to new MBP retina. 10.9.1
Did not have this issue on my older MBP running 10.9.1
Error on startup with all users.
It persist on every reboot startup.

Apple care suggested turning off firewall in system preferences and this worked.

    Appreciate the help !!
the agent and OMS version is 10.1 and the OS is Linux

Check that you have write permissions on the /tmp file system.
Also remember if you have TMP or TEMP set as env vars OEM will use them as the temp area instead, if that is the case, check the permissions there too.

  • Received error 1920 service print spooler failed to start verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services

In installing Adobe XI Pro this error message was received "error 1920 service print spooler failed to start verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services". What does this mean and how can I get this installed?

It very much means what it says - you do not have sufficient administrative privileges and something on your system is blocking the (virtual) PDF printer driver from being installed.

  • Error while starting replication agent

    Hi,
I am getting the following error while starting to replication agent
    **** [TimesTen][TimesTen 11.2.2.2.0 ODBC Driver][TimesTen]TT8191: This store (M3*

    Please help me out.

This indicates some mismatch between your replication scheme definition and your overall environment (such as machine hostnames, IP addresses etc.).
    Can you please provide:
    1. Exact TimesTen version (output of ttversion command)
    2. DSN settings for the database(s) in question from sys.odbc.ini (or Windows registry)
    3. Output of the O/S hostname command on all participating machines (or Windows equivalent)
    4. Exact text of CREATE REPLICATION or CREATE ACTIVE STANDBY PAIR statement.
    5. Contents of /etc/hosts from all participating machines (if you are using hosts file based name resolution)

  • O/S error in starting Oracle DBID Agent

    Hi,
I'm installing fresh Oracle 8.1.7 software. However, after a while it gives me an error mesage "O/S error in starting Oracle<DBID>Agent. I open Services window. I try to start the service manually. It gives me "The service could not be start on local computer".
Could anyone help me on this. Thank you.

^^ the best choice right now would be oracle 10.2 as 9.2 will be de-supported by the end of june 2007...some sap products (using the 46D_EXT kernel..) will support oracle 10.2.

  • Errors when Starting Agents in PCo 15.0 SP3

We are in the process of upgrading to PCo 15.0 and are getting the following error when starting an agent.  We used the same configuration and setup using PCo 2.3 with no issue but we are having issues with PCo 15.0 SP3. This issue is happening on both DA and HDA agents.  Has anyone see this before:

    HI George,
Re-apply the PCo Installer, expand the list of installation items, and scroll down to Additional Components to select Websockets, and deploy. That should correct your issue.

  • Error while starting agent.

    Hi,
    Config : ODI 11g
I have created a standalone agent to run my scenarios. I have set all the required configuration in odiparams.bat file( like
Master repository related deatails ,work repository details etc). I am starting that agent by executing following command on win xp:
agent_demo_staging_agent.batBut It is showing following error on command prompt:
ODI-1404: Agent ODI_STAGING_AGENT start failure: an authentication error occurred while
connecting to the master repository. What could be the reason? I have checked all the credentials and they are correct.
    Somebody help ?
    Thanks,
    Shrinivas
Edited by: Shrinivas Dayma on Sep 13, 2011 3:19 AM

    Hi,
It was nothing like a major issue. My credentials were miss-matching. Means the exact problem was the spaces after the user name and encoded password. First I reverted back all the changes which I made in the odiparams.bat file. Then one by one I entered all the mandatory fields in the file. While doing this I removed all the spaces after User name, password etc.
And restarted the Agent. Then It started working fine.
    Thanks to all.

  • Failed to start e-TEST agent: error starting agent: \ne-TEST process ...

    Hi,
wihout changing the version or so we suddenly we experience the following error at status page (although the monitored web-page is fine):
Current alert: Failed to start e-TEST agent: error starting agent: \ne-TEST process has not established socket in 30 seconds.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi emposadi,
It looks like the e-Load server is having trouble communicating with the agent. Are you running the load test using an agent on the same machine or remote machine? You might want to see if a process has grabbed a port that the server communicates with the agent on. I would reboot the machines in question, shut down the Empirix Application Server and verify that ports 1099 and 9001 are not in use. Those are the ports that e-Load uses to communicate with the agent.

  • Error in starting dbconsole

    Hi,
Actually I have gone through many posts based on this thread. but no one really have a proper solution for it ...I have a situation like this,
I have a 2 node cluster on 10RAC. I was able to access respective oem url's from both the nodes before. But now somehow I am not able to access the OEM url from the first node. I can still access the OEM url from other node. When I tried to troubleshoot, I noticed that it is dbconsole problem. I am getting error while starting the dbconsole as follows,

    Regards,
    imranHI,
I got one reply on a site and it works.
    sathya said,
*I got the same error as above. The fix is fairly simple. Login as “weblogic” user in Oracle and run the script under $BEA_HOME\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\rdbms_security_store_oracle.sql file and you’ll be good to go.*
*I didn’t realize this for quite some time. When I tried to create a new domain, I noticed this message on top bar in the second screen (fine print!)*

  • Error while starting the app server instance

    Hi,
When I am starting the stand-alone instance on app sever, i am getting the following error:
    An error has occurred.
Operation 'start' failed in 'server' Config Mbean. Target exception message: The node agent could not start instance imgr. It is starting and must be stopped.
Could you please tell what might be wrong.
    Regards.

I got this same error and it turned out to be because one of the developers had changed the line AS_JAVA="/usr/jdk/entsys-j2se" in /opt/sun/appserver/config/asenv.conf
    to point to a 1.4.2_10 jre. (/usr/jdk/entsys-j2se was a symlink to /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_04/)
I changed it to an installation of 1.4.2_09 sdk that we had previously installed on their and everything worked fine.
I don't know whether it was because it pointed to a jre as opposed to an sdk or whether the jre was incorrectly installed. (it's a much around box, so everyone's allowed to do pretty much whatever they want to it)
    Hope this helps,
    Adam

  • Multi Mapping - BPM -  Block 1 ( No Agent )  Error  --  Help Please  ?

I am trying the the BPM scenario using Integration Process
    BpmPatternCollectTime
from SAP BASIS ® SAP BASIS 7.00 in
    the namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Patterns
I have done the scenario like the above . I have followed all the Steps which are used in above scenario.
I am using a File Sender Adapter and Receiver Adapter .
It is Successfully picked up the File but nothing is happening after that .
I am using two receiver Determination one from Ob to IP and other from IP to FIleReceiver ( IB) .
But, I am Getting error as Block1 (No agent) Error in the PE graphical diagram
I have checked in SWWL my Integration Process Return code is "0"
Can you please tell tell me how to solve this ?
Can you please tell me this scenario is like Multiple Purchase Order Items to One Purchase Order
Here they have given ID adn OverAllNumber . For ex. In one xml file I am sending
    ID as A100
    OverAllNumber as 120
next 5 minutes putting the another file with contents
    ID as A100
    OverAllNumber as 130
    My Question is
Will TWO files wiil come as Output in File Receiver or one file merged as like follows ?
    ID as A100
    OverAllNumber as 120
      ID as A100
    OverAllNumber as 130
I am not  Clear in this please give some suggestions .
    Best Regards.,
    V.Rangarajan

    Hi Raj,
              Thanks for ur reply.
While defining the receiver determination, sender agreement, receiver agreeement , Interface determination which Interfaces areu using?
                       Yes
+ by the way which pattern u are following the basis component , is it BpmPatternCollectMessage?+
No  . I have taken example as
    BpmPatternCollectTime
from SAP BASIS ® SAP BASIS 7.00
    in the namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Patterns
I have done the scenario like the above . I have followed all the Steps which are used in above scenario.
The steps Which i have followed in BPM are
    1. Block with Deadlkine branch and Exception handler( as TimeOut Exception)
Block Start and Block End as New Transaction
    2. Inside Block infinite Loop which contains Receive step ( Actives the Correlation ) and Multiline Container element which appends the Messages with CollectMessage
    3. Transformation Step
It creates the New Transaction and Interface Maping from CollectMessage List to New Mesage
    4. Send Step
It sends the New Message . It creates the New Transaction .
    Best Regards .,
