Printer email address problem

When trying to find my printer eprint email address in the tools menu, the display responds with, can't connect to the server.

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I gather that you are unable to enable the web services for your HP printer.
Please set a static ip address and manual DNS servers for your printer.  I have included a link to another post with the steps and screen shots.  If you don't have the Officejet 8600 don't worry the steps are the same.  Please note that when on the Network tab you may not have 'IPv4' in the left hand side menu, please look for 'Network' or 'Network Address (IP)'. 
Once you have set the static ip and manual DNS server you should have no problems enabling the web services.

    I have a HP Photosmart Plus B210 and a pc with windows 8.1 i wanted to scan with printer to pc but wouldnt connect to pc, since getting printer i have now changed my email address which is different to the one on the printer how do i change the email address on the printer, e-print tell me to go to settings menu option under wireless web srvice and settings and then disable then enable web services but i cannot find any of these settings on printer. All i can find is wireless setup which doesnt take me to where the printer email address is.

    Hi,
    You will always have to use the claim code which was printed when registering the printer to web services. 
    You have to claim the printer within 24hrs.
    If you have not done this in 24hrs, print the information sheet again, get the claim code and then claim it and change the email.

    I just have a few questions for you:  first, is the printer connected to your network?  If so, have you enabled Web Services?  
    Both of these factors will determine what we do from this point.

    For Photosmart: On the printer's front panel display, touch Wireless>Web Services>Display Email, or if available on your device, touch the ePrint icon on the printer front panel.
    For OfficeJet: On the printer's front panel display, touch the ePrint icon (4.3” display only) to display the email address or Setup>Web Services Setup>Printer Email Address to reprint the information sheet.
    Photosmart Only: If you register your printer at ePrintCenter.com, your email address displays on the ePrint panel.
    For LaserJet: On the printer's front panel display, touch the ePrint icon or “How to Connect” to display the email address. For LaserJet printers with the small 2 line display, please print out the information sheet to see the email address.

    If you have not registered your printer at ePrintCenter.com, print out the ePrint information page that has the 3-step process, or if you need clarification please post again.

Different printers have different features such as the ability to display the printer's ePrint address on the front panel of the printer. Is the email address for the printer one that you have customized? Or is one consisting of what appears to be random letters and numbers?

    Well follow this intructions to disable and enable web services.
    Follow these steps to disable/enable Web Services on your HP product.
    Touch the Right Arrow ( ) to display the second navigation screen.
    Touch Setup ( ), and then touch Web Services Setup .
    Touch Continue , and then touch Yes to accept to the terms of use and enable Web Services. The product checks for updates.
    If the product finds an update, touch Yes to accept the update.
    Touch OK . The product prints an information sheet.
    The information page contains the new printer code at HP ePrintCenter Remember that email you were using will not be avialable for six months it will locked
    Customize your printer's email address
    The ePrint system generates a unique email address for your product, but you can change this email address to one that is easier to remember.
    Follow these steps to customize your product's email address.
    On the You have successfully added your printer window, click Next . The Customize Printer Email Address window opens.
    Enter an email address in the dialog box. The email can be 6 to 30 characters, and can be a combination of letters, numbers, an underscore, and up to two dots.
    Click Check . The ePrintCenter system checks if the email address is available.
    If the email address is available, click Save .
    If the email address is not available, try to check for another email address, or click one of the suggested addresses, and then click Save .

    I bought our photosmart eprinter 2 years ago and set it up to print wirelessly, however I've never emailed anything to it.  I am now trying to set up cloud print and my tablet is asking for the printer email address and I have no idea what it is- is there a way to find that out. thanks

    Have you already setup and registered your printer in ePrint Center? If so, you can get your printer email address from ePrint Center (www.hp.com/go/eprintcenter).

    The problem is that i have 2 apple Id's now and i used on to purchase my macbook pro a few years back and then i created a new one for my new macbook.. i was trying to update my iphoto and imovie but it kept saying i couldnt update it as it was purchased under a different id, and seeing though i cant get into my old account i cant update what i need to. i know the password for the old one as my brother still uses it but it wont work now as hotmail says the email doesnt exist.
    in saying that i dont think i can get into the old account and change the email address

A verification mail is sent by apple but when I linked to the web site given and write my ID (I think it is my mail) and password, I got a message "This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address.     I cannot install sth without it please help me what can I do for overcome this problem

    Recently I update my OS to the v5.0. I like it very much, but since that. I have a problem when I redacting a new email. When I want to add the destinatary the BB doesn't search for any address on the device... I have to copy-paste the address, then press enter, and after I do that, the BB change the email address for the contact name...

  • Primary Email Address Problem

    Apologies in advance for the long post.
    I could post this query in a variety of locations - MAS/iTunes Store/iCloud - but the area it's actually causing a problem is Apple Support Communities.
    For several days I have been virtually unable to log in here because I have to constantly verify/re-submit my Primary Email Address in My AppleID.
    Every time I try to login I get presented with the screen saying 'Report Account Issue', telling my to go to 'My Apple ID' to check my details. I follow the link and have to re-submit my previously verified email address. This normally allows me to then login - until the next time when I have to repeat the process.
    I've lost count of the times I've been to my My Apple ID, my iTunes Store Account, MAS and edited my ID re-inputting the email address - it just never gets remembered. Seems to forget the email address as soon as I've input it.
    I'm in touch with the Community Hosts and the iTunes Store but think I might have a long wait for a resolution. Just hoping that someone here may have some ideas. I may be a coincidence but this seems to have occurred straight after installing the latest version of iTunes a few days ago.
    I've tried clearing caches and cookies and deleting items in the Keychain. Tried loggin in from other computers and iOS devices - same problem.
    If anyone has got any suggestions on how to make my primary email address get remembered like it used to I'd be extremely grateful.

    Are you using webmail, or a mail client program such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows Mail ?
    It seems like you may be using webmail, in which case within webmail :-
    Options/Mail (or More) Options/Accounts. Click on the BTYahoo! account item or if already showing look at the "From Name".
    You can alter this to suit.
    However, even with "Honda Award" appearing, it should not necessarily cause emails to be spam.
    If you have never set this item like this, then it could be that your account has been hacked. Also go to POP & Forwarding to make sure nothing is set in the forwarding area. If it is, then make a note of the email address and then you can inform the abuse desk of the actual mail address hosts.

  • Fetching and Printing Email Address of Customer

    I thought I wrote the write code to fetch the email address of a customer from table adr6 once I know the ADDRNUMBER of the customer from the billing document.  In the entry I want to print, there is no PERSNUMBER defined.  Here is the code I have right now:
    CLEAR GS_HD_ADR.
    get customer adress number
    READ TABLE IS_BIL_INVOICE-HD_ADR INTO GS_HD_ADR
               WITH KEY BIL_NUMBER = IS_BIL_INVOICE-HD_GEN-BIL_NUMBER.
    ADRNR = GS_HD_ADR-ADDR_NO.
    select single smtp_addr into email_adr from adr6
      where addrnumber eq adrnr.
    Nothing is being set in email_adr.  Any ideas why this is happening?

    So after setting a breakpoint, the email address is being set to email_adr but when I print it nothing is being printed.  Here's what I do with the variable email_adr and see if you can see anything I'm doing wrong.
    - email_adr is set in global variables with type like AD_SMTPADR
    - Initialized as an output parameter in the global definitions -> initialization tab
    - It is set with the ABAP code:
    "CLEAR GS_HD_ADR.
    READ TABLE IS_BIL_INVOICE-HD_ADR INTO GS_HD_ADR
               WITH KEY BIL_NUMBER = IS_BIL_INVOICE-HD_GEN-BIL_NUMBER.
    select single smtp_addr into email_adr from adr6
      where addrnumber eq GS_HD_ADR-ADDR_NO.
    ADRNR = GS_HD_ADR-ADDR_NO."
    - It is defined as an output variable for the program line element under the address window
    I am trying to print the email address by making a text element and printing it by saying "&email_adr&"

  • Delete/Re-Use Custom Printer EMail Address

    I have a LaserJet Pro CM1514fnw. I successfully connected and personalized my printer's email address and it was working great for about 2years! Last night my printer auto rebooted during initalization when I was forced to do a NVRAM Initialization. When the initalization finished my printer when back to the defaults and assigned a new printer code. When I logged back into ePrintCenter, my "past custom email address & printer" was gone! I was able to reconnect the the printer code however it said my customized email address was in use! Of course it was because I was the one using it. How am I able to delete and my old email address so I can reassign the same one to my new printer code?

    I understand that you want to keep your ePrint email address.  Once the reset was done on your printer your current ePrint settings was lost.   The ePrint email address that you were using is unavailable for six months.
