Printer HP LaserJet 4L Driver

I need to install a HP LaserJet 4L printer on Windows XP but I can not find the drivers for this printer.

OK, so the file unzipped into a folder with files inside that looks like what I have zipped up and attached below, correct?
Now either download and unzip the file I attached or use the one you have and go to the add printer wizard again, select the HP LJ 4L printer from the list and then click on the Have Disk button and browse to that unzipped driver folder, and select the hp41 inf file and see if the driver installs.

I used to be able to use the HP Laserjet 1020 driver from Apple's HP Print Drivers 3.0 kit to print documents on my Laserjet 1018. It worked like a charm. Now that I have done a clean install of Yosemite, updated to 10.10.1, and installed the HP Print Drivers 3.0 package, the documents get sent to the print queue but no documents are printed...
What are my options, short of buying a new printer or downgrading to Mavericks?
I really resent regressions.... especially those you only find out about after the fact.

I just realized I had been trying to use the HP LS 1200 driver for my 1018, while I should have been using the 1022 driver, which is the one that works with the 1018 (since there is no specific driver for 1018).
So now that I have already upgraded to 10.10.1, I'm not sure if the update fixed anything for me or if I was just using the wrong driver from the start.
Anyway, the HP LaserJet 1022 driver works on the 1018 on Yosemite 10.10.1. Confirmed.

My printer (HP Laserjet 2100) is no longer working after the upgrade; it just spits out page after page of error codes and blank pages. I've tried using both the HP driver and a generic driver. This is being accessed over a network. Has anyone encountered this problem after upgrading from Lion?

Make sure to install the latest HP Printer Drivers 2.11 update as it should resolve a Postscript printing issue and I believe it will resolve the problem.
You may do so by clicking the Apple icon and then Software Update, you should see the update listed.
For any further issue go to Library\Printers and remove the HP folder, then download and install the following package:

How to setup printer (HP LaserJet P1102w) on Wine?

I have installed and working printer on my arch. But when I trying to print from Wine, got error that no printers installed. And this log in console:
$ wine notepad
fixme:winspool:WINSPOOL_EnumPrintersW We don't handle PRINTER_ENUM_CONNECTIONS
According to wine help page all what I need is working CUPS configuration. I can print direct from linux and can print from lpr.
Here is some CUPS output:

ThinClient t5745 unable to print via LaserJet p1005

We just bought a HP ThinClient t5745 at my job to use mainly for printing out some sort of worksheets. We already have a LaserJet p1005 so we wanted to use that as the printer. It is possible in the setup to find the driver for the printer and it is also able to detect whether the printer is on or off BUT it will not print. The ThinClient says it is "processing" and some seconds after it says "online - idle" at the printer's status.
I have tried to print via a network printer we also have (a HP Color LaserJet CM6040 MFP) and it works perfectly. The p1005 do just fine on a Windows computer.
I hope anyone can help me out. Thanks.

Your printer HP Laserjet p1005 is a commercial product. I suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support for a better chance at finding a prompt solution.

Unable to print to a network printer, HP LaserJet 4000n

After much frustrating going in circles, I finally installed the software for my network printer, an HP LaserJet 4000n, otherwise idetified on my 4 other PCs as HP LaserJet 4000 PCL 6. It works well on the others, including an HP Netbook with Windows 7 Starter.
I finally got the printer to show up as HP Universal Printing PCL 6. I can set the Properties from my wife's new HP G72-B60US, running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit). I can click on "Print Test Page," and I get the message that it was sent to the printer. However, it doesn't print. I get an "Error - Printing" message. I tried using the Windows assistant, but couldn't get any results.

I posted on a Microsoft forum, and received a reply from an MS tech. Tried all his suggestions to no avail. My printer is attached to a desktop PC running Windows XP Professional. Do I need to install some kind of Windows 7 driver on the server?

Printer HP Laserjet P1102 unable to set/print into EconoMode

I just purchased Printer HP Laserjet P1102 and the installation was good. But I could not set the Printer Setting to EconoMode. Even the EconoMode check box was thicked, the printer print in normal (bold)... so that waste my toner.
I already install the latest driver from HP website, but EconoMode still not working. Please help me.

Are you running Windows 7 in Boot Camp, or do you have a Mac with virtualization of Windows 7 on top of some Mac OS X, using some virtualization software? Classic Mac operating systems can't run Windows 7, but can run MS-DOS and Windows 2000 or earlier in emulation.

Pdf reader X has problems with small pdf and printer with post script driver

Hi friends.
I have installed new Reader X and then i saw that, when i print a very small pdf with about 50 kb and i print it on a Laserjet 4000 printer the printer has problem with the amount of data that reader 10 produces.
When i install a Postscript driver for the printer my computer makes up to 3.5MB printer data from a 50kb pdf.
When i install a PCL driver for the printer my computer makes only 350kb from the same 50kb pdf file!!!!
When i install Reader 9.3 the 50kb file becomes also only 350kb on the printer with post script driver, and i can print without problems also.
my printer has 8 MB Ram and that should be enough for 3.5MB printer data.
But when i print the pdf with 1 side only, the printer created a side who is only filled with 50% of the text, then there comes out a second page with the message.....not enough memory in the printer.
i can not change the postscript driver to a pcl driver cause our ERP System can not handle printer with PCL drivers.
Can someone help me please.........are there settings in Reader X who can solve my problem ???

I searched the driver on HP website, and the driver only up to Windows 8.1, I suspect that there's might be a compatibility issue here, I suggest you try the available drivers one by one, and check if one driver can fix this issue, if no drivers works, then
we will be out of luck here. In that case, please contact the HP support and check if they have any updated drivers for the printer.

Error printing on laserjet 5p

In trying to print anything to my HP Laserjet 5P printer, I get an error-printing message noting there are documents in the queue preventing me from printing. However I get the same message even after I cancel ALL documents in the queue.
I can also successfully print a test page; so I believe the printer is functioning.
I have re-added the printer, re-added the driver software, and still get the same error message no matter what I send to the printer. By the way I'm using Windows 7.
Yet when I troubleshoot the printer (attached to my laptop via a USB port (LPT1) it says it can't find a problem.
Can anyone help? I'm befuddled as to what to do next to resolve this just occurring issue.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Just to clarify you said that the printer is connected to your computer through a USB cable? The reason I ask is that printer if I remember correctly can only support a parallel cable connection, so that might be the issue.

I read your post and see that you would like to know if you can print from a USB drive, inserted in the printer. I would be happy to provide that information for you.
Your printer supports flash drives. Supported file types from the front port include PDF and RGB JPEG.
The following information is provided by the printer's manual on page 50. LASERJET PRO 200 COLOR MFP.
Walk-up USB printing:
1. Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the front of the product.
2. The USB Flash Drive menu opens. Touch the arrow buttons to scroll through the options.
Print Documents
View and Print Photos
Scan to USB Drive
3. To print a document, touch the Print Documents screen, and then touch the name of the folder on the USB drive where the document is stored. When the summary screen opens, you can touch it to adjust the settings. Touch the
Print button to print the document.
4. To print photos, touch the View and Print Photos screen, and then touch the preview image for each photo that you want to print. Touch the Done button. When the summary screen opens, you can touch it to adjust the settings. Touch the Print button to print the photos.
5. Retrieve the printed job from the output bin, and then remove the USB drive.
